    The best thing to send is CASH! There is ALWAYS everything you need if you have money. When a loaf of bread cost $300 ... and you HAVE $300 .... you have bread. etc. etc. Almost no exceptions ..... EVER.

    Blue. To go back in time and change things would change the time stream in ways unimaginable ... I never expected to live past the age of 42, and here I am strong at 70. There are Brothers and Sisters much better than me that died at the age of 18 or so. NEVER mess with the time stream! You never know how it will turn out!

    If you are at the Luna Hilton, all you have to do is key your telephone AI to call for the Concierge for any assistance you might need. Perhaps you would need a Lunar Rover to get from the Hotel to the Inner System District Assembly Arena at Tycho Crater, with your newly resurrected family member. I would assume, their being in the Hotel Business, and all being post Armageddon Jehovah's Witnesses ... they would be very supportive . By the way .... July 20, 1969 Mankind first set foot on the moon, across 240,000 miles of hard vacuum ... proving that the Solar System is at least what the Bible considers to be "Earth"

    I have tried to follow this thread from beginning to end ... but I am 70 now, and very tired of bickering over the meaning of Nebuchadnezzar's image toes, etc. If I sat down and wrote out EVERYTHING that we need do to please God, and achieve salvation through Christ, I strongly suspect I could get it ALL on two pages. Everything else would be background reading ... and WOULD NOT MATTER AT ALL. I have been beaten up by pontificating experts for over 50 YEARS, and I in my Barbarian perceptions have been right MORE than the "pontiffs" ... by a considerable margin. I am sick to my very soul of having to carry around these burdensome bags of sand, and hear MILLIONS of words about Justice, and love, and MERCY ... and see NONE of it practiced ... only the machinations of policy wonks. I quit the best job I ever had, in the Congo, in 1974, to be home with my parents, and my brother and two sisters when Armageddon was supposed to occur in 1975. I did not believe it, but talks at Circuit and District Assemblies, Special Talks at the Kingdom Halls, and at Civic Centers in Virginia, and everyone I knew KNOWING that it would all be over by 1975, wore me down. I began to reason ... "How could I be right, when EVERYONE else is proclaiming the END of this System in 1975?". I don't care about how many Angels can dance on the head of a pin .... ANYMORE I am going to live my life the best I know how, and let the theorists consume each other. If I am wrong .... OF COURSE I will have to "pay the price" If "they" are wrong .. . I STILL have to "pay the price", and they pay NO PRICE WHATSOEVER. But.. please, carry on ... this thread IS interesting reading .... perhaps because I am a compulsive reader.

    I do not know how you can categorically say the Jehovah God will not resurrect someone on the Moon. There are NO FACTS to support or exclude that. (Remember ... uh... facts?) If they died on the Moon because they fell and cracked open the face plate of their spacesuit, perhaps Jehovah would resurrect them with a repaired spacesuit face plate. OR .... he might resurrect someone on the Moon for any number of reasons we are completely unaware of, like the resurrected one's family is vacationing there and staying at the Luna Hilton, while attending an Inner System District Assembly. (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, and Orbitals) Please read the 1965 book, "Things in Which It Is Impossible For God To Lie", page 184, paragraph 10, ..... and the 1986 book "Worldwide Security Under The Prince of Peace", page 384, paragraph 24, published 21 years later.

    I answered YOUR question as succinctly as the facts that it was based on false premises would permit. ... YOU JUST DIDN'T LIKE THE ANSWER ! YOU WERE TRYING TO SET A TRAP, AND NOTHING SHOWED UP. You seem to have a COMPLETE lack of reading comprehension skills, as in all of our back-and-forth sparring, you have YET ( that means never ... for those in Rio Linda...) to address the issues under discussion, but instead go wandering down the main corridor and taking side corridors of irrelevancy, to the issues at hand. How about, for a change ... address the actual issues ON THE BASIS OF THE VALIDITY .... OR NOT ... OF THOSE ISSUES RAISED ? Try proposing counter arguments that are relevant to the main issue on the table. SHOW how my ideas are wrong, and my examples irrelevant to factual reality. Give examples that are stronger and more focused and pertinent than MY examples. You cannot win an argument, or a civil debate, by saying "MY Daddy can beat up YOUR Daddy, and my dog has four legs, and YOU only have two, and you are UGLY.". It is very disconcerting, albeit amusing, to be trying to have a discussion with someone about REAL WORLD issues, and they are under the table polishing their shoes. .... stay focused !

    Bible Speaks: I carefully read the scriptures you posted, and I did get the point ... but ... the scriptures AND the points HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MORALITY ( or immorality ) ASPECTS OF WHAT IS BEING DISCUSSED. Would you care to turn the automatic tape player OFF for a moment or two, and have an original thought? ..and more to the ...er... "point" at least PRETEND to have some relevancy to the ideas being examined?

    Interesting .... I think drug dealing, because it enslaves people, is ALSO a crime against humanity. I suppose it gets down to which ethicist you choose for guidance, and what their credibility is to BE a credible ethicist . Someone who uniformly and as a practice make bad moral judgements about one thing involving great deals of money, have no credibility about pontificating about OTHER things involving a great deal of money. If I remember the movie correctly, the drug money in the suitcases was 11 million dollars (?). I have decided that I WOULD take the dead drug dealers money, as found treasure ... much the same as if I had found a hoard of Nazi gold, ingots made from the teeth of concentration camp victims. Any other opinions? .

    TTH You are correct, technically. THE QUESTION REMAINS .... (rephrased .... ) Has the Society ever ruled on what happens if a man or woman abandons their spouse FOR THE REST OF THEIR "NATURAL LIVES" ... is the one DELIBERATELY abandoned stuck for the rest of his "natural life"? ? Example: Lets say my wife got on a Starship to the Centauri Star System, at sub-light speeds. She is in hibernation, and will be asleep for 126 years in transit, 63 years accelerating, and 63 years decelerating, meanwhile, back on Earth I have to live the rest of my life, say 42 years, with no help, companionship, or love, THROUGH NO FAULT OF MY OWN. Does it serve the interests of 1.) God, 2.) Christ, 3.) or any PERSON .... for me to endure this cruelty for 42 years, and die alone? To the best I have been able to determine ... THE ANSWER IS NO! That to me is the KEY question to understanding Jesus' advice about marriage. I cannot think of ANYONE who benefits from this cruel, current application of Scripture. Can YOU? The only working theory I can see for kindness, compassion, and Justice to prevail ... is if Jesus was ONLY talking to the Pharisees of his day about the SPECIFIC custom among Jewish men of his time of "juking the system" with a pad of divorce certificates, and closing the manufactured "loophole" of this SPECIFIC activity, then, and now. If you have a better explanation ... I would like to hear it. The alternate explanation would have to be reasonable, show common sense, and the end result be merciful, and just ... and NOT HURT ANYONE ... which is the whole point of ALL Theocratic Law. .

    I don't know what the law is ... either in Great Britain, or the United States ... but if a person is being accused of some crime... does he (or she) NOT have the absolute MORAL RIGHT to face and cross examine ones' accuser? OTHERWISE ... If I was a nutso kid, or adult, I could ruin people's lives with COMPLETE IMPUNITY ... accusing people of committing foggery and mopery, with mirrors ... and they could make no defense, NOT EVEN UNDERSTANDING WHAT THEY WERE BEING ACCUSED OF. IT'S LIKE A GUNFIGHT THAT STARTS OFF BY YOU BEING SHOT IN THE BACK.

    This is a three part question with THREE related answers: I saw a movie about a year ago about this Cowboy, driving his jeep through the desert, and he comes upon about six cars and pickup trucks grouped together, out in the middle of nowhere ... with bodies all around and in the vehicles. Apparently a drug deal had "gone bad", and the buyers and sellers had killed each other.. The pickup trucks are full of bales of drugs, and the cars are full of suitcases full of money. The Cowboy puts gasoline on the drugs, burning them up, and goes home with the money. Did he STEAL the money ... and does he have a moral responsibility to return it to the people who were going to buy the drugs? Bear in mind, he has broken NO LAW ... and he is not legally REQUIRED to report the criminal activity ..... much like the Society's position that they will not turn JW child sex abusers over to the police unless legally REQUIRED to do so. Using the principles long established by the WTB&TS .... I would be inclined to keep the money ! Of course I would check for hidden tracking transmitters in the suitcases ... and take other evasive precautions. .Question 1.) Did the Cowboy STEAL the money ... ? Question 2.) Does he have a moral responsibility to return it to the people who were going to buy the drugs ... ? Question 3.) What would YOU do? EXTRA CREDIT: Was it immoral for the Cowboy to deliberately destroy the drug dealers' property?

    No, the building is NOT radioactive ... not enough to be of any concern, anyway ... the bomb exploded at about 9,000 feet altitude AGL. There is no possible way to ACCURATELY say how many people will die from Fukushima radiation. More people were killed on Chappaquiddick Island than Three Mile Island.
