I subscribe to Netflix, but only get DVDs two at a time ... obviously they know what I watch, because they send them to me.
Is there anything on Netflix that anybody should really care about whether or not they keep a list?

Thanksgiving Fast
For the citizens in the newly independent United States, “thanksgiving” had a different meaning than we know today. Instead of giving thanks through a large meal, Americans gave thanks by fasting. Â
During the American Revolution, the Continental Congress issued several proclamations suggesting national days of fasting and thanksgiving like this one for May 20, 1779. Calls for national days of prayer and thanksgiving were made with the hope that “Divine Providence” would favor the American cause. They also served a patriotic purpose as they gathered people together in houses of worship—across denominations and the country—to pray for American victory in the war.Â

Facciones internas del ISIS en Afganistán llevan meses en un conflicto que ha aumentado en violencia En retroceso en todos los frentes, con cada vez menos yihadistas en sus filas y su aparato propagandÃstico golpeado, el grupo terrorista Estado Islámico (ISIS, en inglés) parece haber entrado en una crisis interna y decapitó el miércoles a 15 de sus propios combatientes en Afganistán.
Las ejecuciones tuvieron lugar por la tarde en el distrito de Achin, en la provincia de Nangarhar, considerado el bastión del grupo en el paÃs y donde hace meses surgieron una serie de disputas entre facciones que todavÃa continúan, dijo el portavoz del gobernador provincial, Attaullah Khogyanai.
"Algunos de ellos ya han comenzado a matarse unos a otros", detalló la fuente a la agencia EFE.
En tanto el portavoz del Ministerio de Defensa afgano, Dawlat Waziri, confirmó la decapitación de los yihadistas y señaló que los problemas internos en el ISIS en esa región se deben a la creciente presión interpuesta por las fuerzas de seguridad con sus operaciones en la zona.
  A pesar de su retroceso militar el grupo sigue teniendo la capacidad de realizar ataques terroristas suicidas (Reuters) "No tienen bases permanentes en las aldeas y han huido a las montañas vecinas, desde donde lanzan a veces sus ataques de guerrilla y vuelven a huir", explicó Waziri a EFE.
El número de yihadistas presentes en Nangarhar se ha reducido de varios miles a apenas medio millar con las continuas ofensivas aéreas y terrestres de las tropas afganas e internacionales, indicó el vocero.
Al respecto en abril de este año Estados Unidos lanzó la "madre de todas las bombas", un dispositivo termobárico de alto poder, sobre una red de túneles y cuevas del grupo en Nangarhar.
El ISIS irrumpió en Afganistán en 2015 en diferentes puntos del paÃs y creó su principal bastión en Nangarhar, fronteriza con Pakistán y clave en las comunicaciones entre los dos paÃses.
Desde entonces y, aunque las autoridades han afirmado en diversas ocasiones que han reducido su presencia a unas pocas zonas remotas, la formación yihadista ha reclamado algunos de los atentados más sangrientos en el paÃs.
Además de fuertes disputas entre facciones del grupo, el ISIS también mantiene una relación ambivalente con los talibanes, grupo extremista autóctono contra el que en ocasiones han combatido y en otras han operado en conjunto.
 Operaciones militares del ejército sirio contra el ISIS (AFP) En el gran contexto,el grupo terrorista sunita ha perdido este año el control de todos los grandes centros urbanos que en 2014 conquistó en Siria e Irak, y apenas resiste en una franja de desierto en la frontera entre ambos paÃses.
En tanto sus filiales en Afganistán, Libia, Filipinas y Egipto se encuentran también en retroceso, aunque la organización no ha perdido aún su capacidad de realizar ataques terroristas lejos de estas regiones.
