  1. When we leave any covenant God has made with his people, we are considered immoral, by accepting a different covenant, that one being death. With the New Covenant in Christ, God’s anointed priesthood, as part of the vine of Christ, receive Holy spirit by being in union as a branch to the vine. This provides good fruit for hearers, as teachings. It is the product of the vine, which is Christ. John 15:5,16; Heb 13:15 Also the symbolic “wine” is an end product of Holy Spirit sourced in the vine. 1 John 2:20,27; John 16:13; Exod 4:12 Spiritual wine can originate from two sources; one of God, who Is unchanging (Mal 3:6) and brings truth to the branches, through Christ, and the other source originating with Satan, coming from the mouth of false prophets as bad fruit. “Their wine is the poison of serpents, And the cruel venom of cobras.” Deut 32:33 “For their vine is of the vine of Sodom And of the fields of Gomorrah; Their grapes are grapes of gall, Their clusters are bitter.” Deut 32:32 The deceit Satan uses is darkness, doublemindedness, misleading, misguiding, through the serving of wine that causes stupor, affecting one’s ability to recognize truth. Dan 5:23; Luke 12:45,46; Rev 18:3;14:8 If Jesus’ blessing is on any anointed one, the “wine” served, the product of fruit ready for ingestion, must be pure. Our examples are the apostles who taught purely and in harmony. Phil 2:15; John 17:17; John 8:31,32; John 17:8 During the wedding feast in Cana of Galilee, Jesus served wine that was considered superior to the previously served wine. If the organization says it teaches in the manner of Christ, there would be no inferior wine offered to feed the sheep at any time. John 21:17 Why would God tolerate any of his people to be constantly told to change in midstream and accept a new doctrine? Should the hearer continue to listen to this, to take in old wine mixed with new? Matt 9:17 This would indicate that anointed who present teaching other than the unchanging truth from God have become adulterers, leaving the vine of pure “wine” in Christ. This changing out of wine, or perhaps we can call it, “new light” is spoken of in Hos 4. “Now let no man contend, or rebuke another; For your people are like those who contend with the priest. Therefore you shall stumble in the day; The prophet also shall stumble with you in the night; And I will destroy your mother. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. 4-6 “The more they increased, The more they sinned against Me; I will change their gloryinto shame. They eat up the sin of My people; They set their heart on their iniquity. And it shall be: like people, like priest. So I will punish them for their ways, And reward them for their deeds. For they shall eat, but not have enough; They shall commit harlotry, but not increase; Because they have ceased obeying the Lord. 7-10 “Harlotry, wine, and new wine enslave the heart. My people ask counsel from their wooden idols, And their staff informs them. For the spirit of harlotry has caused them to stray, And they have played the harlot against their God. 11,12 Jer 2:21; Deut 32:33,32; Ps 140:3 Rom 3:13 “And their staff informs them”. Staff, meaning an unused root, a twig, a shoot, a sucker, a stick…..a branch. This branch is attached to a corrupt vine full of bitter wine. “Yet I had planted you a noble vine, a seed of highest quality. How then have you turned before Me Into the degenerate plant of an alien vine?” Jer 2:21 “Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit”; “The poison of asps is under their lips” Rom 3:13 If those in the organization believe they cannot deny changed teachings, that have caused the ruin of thousands, because it is taught that the organization belongs to God, they are not listening to God. “ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” James 1:17 “I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in My name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’ How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart, who try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor, as their fathers forgot My name for Baal. Jer 23:25-27 “And brothers, we LOVE this teaching.” “We LOVE this idea, because it really truly does dignify the members of the Great Crowd.” David Splane Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; They speak a vision of their own heart, Not from the mouth of the Lord. They continually say to those who despise Me, The Lord has said, “You shall have peace”’; And to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say, ‘No evil shall come upon you.’” Jer 23:16,17 God’s people are expected to inquire of a priest who changes ideas like shifting sand over a period of time, otherwise that one who listens and accepts it, will be considered the fool. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.” Matt 7:26
  2. “Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules: “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”? These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings. Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.” Col 2:20-23 “Who is it he is trying to teach? To whom is he explaining his message? To children weaned from their milk, to those just taken from the breast? For it is: Do this, do that, a rule for this, a rule for that; a little here, a little there.” Very well then, with foreign lips and strange tongues God will speak to this people, to whom he said, “This is the resting place, let the weary rest”; and, “This is the place of repose”— but they would not listen. So then, the word of the Lord to them will become: Do this, do that, a rule for this, a rule for that; a little here, a little there— so that as they go they will fall backward; they will be injured and snared and captured. Isa 28:9-13 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matt 11:28-30
  3. Holly, thank you for your research on this. The sheep in the organization are led astray by confusing doctrine; what is taught today was not the case yesterday. Would those men who spoke of Christ as being worshiped be disfellowshipped today? It would be considered blasphemy by the GB if one were to say they worship Christ. Truly, it is Satan that opposes any worship to be given Christ, instilling this thought in the heart. How strong he presents the desire for us to worship HIM, through his use of the world and all that is in it, which happens to be where the organization resides. God does not commend any shepherd for double-mindedness. “You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us? But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.” James 4:4-10 “Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.” James 3:10-12 “Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.” But the people said nothing.” 1 Kings 18:21 So, too, the sheep say nothing in the organization do today. If one says worship Christ, they do. If one says no, they don’t. This is the downfall of giving obedience to men….and yet, “obey God as ruler rather than men” is found numerous times on the org’s website…for a reason. Could this be Satan covering his tracks while he brings in the deception? The meaning of Babylon is "confusion"; concerning Revelation's Babylon, we are told “‘Come out of her, my people,' so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes." Rev 18:4,5
  4. JWT, I have gone through all of your posts and, correct me if I am wrong, but I found only one possible quote from the Watchtower. I say possible because there was no reference to the article. Instead, I see you rely on the Matthew Henry Commentary consistently. Is he a JW? I find this rather interesting, since you heavily support the GB but don’t rely on their words. Pondering on this brings the thought that others actually write the articles for the GB’s approval. This also shows that the GB no longer has connection with the vine of Christ. Hmmm. Mal 2:7; Heb 13:15; 1 John 2:27; John 15:4; 8:32; 1 John 1:6 In reality, this well supports an alternate priesthood feeding the sheep, other than the beloved GB. Num 16:10; 2 Chron 13:9; Ezek 44:6-9; 2 Thess 2:4; Dan 11:31; Matt 24:15 It is futile to go on bantering back and forth, JWT. As you attack my person continually, it shows me that truly, love is not found in the organization by most; although, there are exceptions among JWs on this forum. Since you have no idea just how important it is for JWs to wake up; and thinking I am here because of hate for my own brothers and sisters, I am saddened to think that when Christ visibly arrives, those of the majority, whether part of the Body of Christ or all sheep, will still be found protecting their great mountainlike organization. Samaria's king shall perish like a twig on the face of the waters. 8 The high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed. Thorn and thistle shall grow up on their altars, and they shall say to the mountains, “Cover us,” and to the hills, “Fall on us.” Hos 10:7,8 “But turning to them Jesus said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For behold, the days are coming when they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren and the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’ Then they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us,’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us.’ For if they do these things when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?” Luke 23:28-30 “Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?” Rev 6:15-17 “Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain. And he shall bring forward the top stone amid shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’” Zech 4:7 “The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.” Rev 8:8,9 “The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.” Rev 9:20,21
  5. I am amazed, JWT, that you quote Jackson from the Australian Royal Commission’s peer into over 1000 known child abuse cases hidden for years by the organization (who knows how many more); child abuse that the WT has concealed in many other countries but are now being exposed, while those who desire to serve God whole souled, who realize Christ is our salvation, are disfellowshiped - marked as spiritually dead. “And will you profane Me among My people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, killing people who should not die, and keeping people alive who should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies?” Ezek 13:19
  6. If you read my previous posts, you will see that I believe they are genuine anointed ones, but who have forsaken the vine of Christ, as prophesied, and which can happen to any anointed one who chooses man's words over God's. It would be foolish of us to think this couldn’t happen. God’s standards of righteousness hold true above any of man’s, no matter how “nice” they appear. Matt 23:38; Luke 23:45; Hosea 1:9; Matt 23:1-39 While those in the organization continue to look at it (John 4:21; Acts 7:49) as directed in righteousness through the GB, truth escapes them. 1 Cor 4:8; 1 John 2:15; Matt 4:8; James 1:27 “You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall (Rev 8:10,11) from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked” 2 Pet 3:17 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. Matt 7:15-20 Good fruit is sourced in Holy Spirit, which is sourced in Christ and the Father. Since the Father is unchanging, the good fruit we are to choose, would not change skins according to the teachings of men. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matt 7:21-23 (2 Thess 2:8-12) “So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself. He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” John 7:16-18 ‘The Faithful Slave’ Passes the Test! W 04/3/1 “You hypocrites, rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me. ‘But in vain do they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.’” Matt 15:7-9 “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to beaccursed!” Gal 1:8 “See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled” Heb 12:15 This “root of bitterness”, teachings (waters) that defiles many, is prominent in the last days, and found among God’s own people. "The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter." (Rev.8:10,11) "Therefore this is what the LORD Almighty says concerning the prophets: "I will make them eat bitter food and drink wormwood water, because from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has spread throughout the land." (Jer.23:15) “so that there will not be among you a man or woman, or family or tribe, whose heart turns away today from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of those nations (the organization as one’s salvation); that there will not be among you a root bearing poisonous fruit and wormwood.” Deut 29:18 “that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us,(from genuine anointed ones) to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless theapostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction” 2 Thess 2:2,3 “But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons” 1 Tim 4:1 “And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast (organization) and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs; for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings (Rev 1:6) of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty. (“Behold,I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and men will not see his shame.”) Rev 16:13-15 “ He was granted power to give breath (compare to John 20:22) to the image of the beast, (spirit-directed) that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. (disfellowshiped for rejecting the organization as salvation) He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (three unclean spirits) http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2015/02/666-144000.html Rev 11:12; Luke 21:24; Dan 8:9-14; Heb 10:29; Matt 24:15-28 By the way, Geoffrey Jackson’s words that the GB are “fellow workers” are very different from the teachings in the Watchtower. (“fellow” meaning “a person in the same position” Oxford Dict.) “By word or action, may we never challenge the channel of communication that Jehovah is using today.” (w09 11/15 p. 14 par. 5 Treasure Your Place in the Congregation) How different this sounds from Christ’s admonishment to discern the good fruit, as well as our example of the Beroeans… “Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. Acts 17:11 “If anyone teaches a different doctrine (“may we never challenge”) and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.” 1 Tim 6:3-5 “But those who desire to be rich (1Cor 4:8) fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money (Matt 6:24) is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.” 1 Tim 6:9,10 (Rev 8:11; Amos 8:11; Rev 18:4-8) God's standards have become quite hazy through the misguidance of men. Striving to get in through the narrow gate is not by residing in a proposed ark of safety; hand crafted, not by God, but at the will of men. It is a constant exertion of clinging to Christ amid a corrupt world and its passions. But it can be done if we listen to his voice. Rev 3:18; 18:4-8 “Likewise, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; prophesy against them, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Woe to the women (New Covenant anointed) who sew magic charms on their sleeves and make veils for the heads of people of every height to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of My people, and keep yourselves alive? And will you profane Me among My people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, killing people who should not die, and keeping people alive who should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies?” ‘Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against your magic charms by which you hunt souls there like birds. I will tear them from your arms, and let the souls go, the souls you hunt like birds. I will also tear off your veils and deliver My people out of your hand, and they shall no longer be as prey in your hand. Then you shall know that I am the Lord. “Because with lies you have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and you have strengthened the hands of the wicked, so that he does not turn from his wicked way to save his life. Therefore you shall no longer envision futility nor practice divination; for I will deliver My people out of your hand, and you shall know that I am the Lord.”’” Ezek 13:17-23
  7. JWT, are you telling me that these men are viewed as no different than any anointed one in the organization? Here is the situation with the anointed throughout the organization. Compare to those labeled as the “faithful and discreet slave”, just your fellow Christians. “ Do those of the other sheep need to know the names of all those who are anointed today? The short answer is no. Why not? Because even if someone has received the heavenly calling, that person has received only an invitation, not a final confirmation of the reward. That is why Satan raises up “false prophets . . . to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.” w16 January pp. 22-27 You certainly know the names of the GB members. Have they received their final confirmation of a reward as “just fellow Christians”? 1 Cor 4:8 “In addition, anointed Christians do not view themselves as being part of an elite club.” (same article) To view some “uninspired” ones as “faithful and discreet”, recognized by all, then tell the rest of Christ’s priesthood to be viewed as nonexistent is hypocrisy and a “trampling of God’s Temple” as I have previously brought out. Eph 4:25; 1 Cor 12:18 Should we assume that the GB knows how God has placed each member of the Body? Or as 1 Cor 12:18 says, it is just as God pleases? You can choose to ignore this, or choose to recognize the profaning of His Temple by those who expect obedience to them – the Gentile elder body. Ezek 44:7; Rom 2:29; Matt 24:15,16 “Worse still, if they received special treatment, anointed Christians might find it difficult to remain humble” (same article) Can the GB “remain humble” as they exalt themselves, lording it over their brothers? If you think it’s possible, then why are their own bodily members in Christ expected to be obedient to them? Notice this quote, referencing the “modern day priestly class” but efficiently leaving out the entire anointed Body (1 Pet 2:5,9; Rev 1:5,6) and directing full attention to the Governing Body: How grateful we can be for the services provided by the modern-day priestly class! “The faithful and discreet slave” takes the lead in providing timely spiritual food that helps us to discern the difference between what is unclean and what is clean in Jehovah’s eyes. W 07/8/1 p 8,11 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Gal 6:3 Each anointed one has, as his or her head – Christ! All sheep have as their head, Christ! Not a GB who demands obedience to them! 3 John 1:9-11; Luke 22:25-27 If one in the anointed Body were to "lead" another in truth, it is IN TRUTH, and not shifting doctrine or failed dates, or into the enforcement of an organization that is assumed to be salvation. Matt 7:15-20 While you call it unity that the Body of Christ and all sheep are fed a spiritual food from the “slave” without question; not even considering the possibility of what is being served as faulty, lies, errors, as the organization has a history of; in reality, the organization definitely classifies the Body, dividing the anointed from the GB; blocking their headship in Christ by expected obedience to a false priesthood and the GB. God’s Chosen ones are not to sit back and allow 7 men to “feed the sheep” without using their right to question failed and faulty doctrine. Mal 2:7; 1 John 2:20-23; 2 Cor 11:12 There is no understanding or recognition of each part of the Body, or how love between all is love shared in the vine of Christ through Holy Spirit. 1 Cor 12:1-31; 1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 1:10 This is proven as soon as another anointed one questions these false prophets on a doctrine – the wicked slave is exposed through their mandatory disfellowshiping doctrine. These questioning ones become hated and determined to be an brother. John 8:40,47; Matt 23:32; Zech 7:11 “Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:13-15 An efficient “steward” of God’s anointed spiritual household, (Eph 2:20-22) one that provides and gleans for all and from all as a true steward would, can prove to be either fit or unfit; faithful or wicked; all determined on their treatment of the other members in the Chosen Body. 1 Tim 3:15; Luke 12:42; 1 Pet 4:17; Luke 12:37,45,45 The GB has concealed the truth in these matters. In order to hide their own undoing, your uninspired GB has decided Jesus’ parables are nothing but stories and warnings … “Jesus was not there foretelling that an evil slave class would arise. Rather, he was warning the faithful slave not to display the traits of an evil slave.” w15 3/15 pp. 19-24 …yet the truth has come to the fore. They willingly condone the “beating” of their own brother for their expected acquiescing in silence, also for their rejecting idolatry toward an “image”, and doctrines made by man. Rom 14:4; Matt 24:48,49; Isa 28:28; Rev 17:6 “ If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.” 1 John 4:20,21 Each slave of Christ is to be responsible stewards of the word. 1 Cor 4:1,2;Luke 12:48 The anointed in the congregations have fallen asleep to their assignment because of the unfit spiritual food that they take in. Matt 25:5; Rev 3:3 “But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. Matt 25:5 These virgins, upon awakening must chose the “oil” for their lamps – should they buy it from a GB who “sells oil” or will it be from their own“reserve” and further Holy spirit directly from Christ? Matt.25:9,10; Rev.13:17 (Rev 19:20; 20:4) The confirmation that you are under the thumb of a wicked slave is found in the changing doctrine of “generation”, changing in order to “fit” the 1914 supposed arrival of Christ’s Kingdom. “But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards” Matt 24:48,49 This 1914 doctrine of the “birth” of God’s Kingdom seems to be followed by labor pains. Since when does birth come before labor? Just as Jesus predicted, his “presence” as heavenly King has been marked by dramatic world developments—war, famine, earthquakes, pestilences. (Matthew 24:3-8; Luke 21:11) Such developments bear powerful testimony to the fact that 1914 indeed marked the birth of God’s heavenly Kingdom and the beginning of “the last days” of this present wicked system of things.—2 Timothy 3:1-5. “Jesus answered, “Be careful! Don’t let anyone fool you. Many people will come and use my name. They will say, ‘I am the Messiah.’ And they will fool many people. You will hear about wars that are being fought. And you will hear stories about other wars beginning. But don’t be afraid. These things must happen before the end comes. Nations will fight against other nations. Kingdoms will fight against other kingdoms. There will be times when there is no food for people to eat. And there will be earthquakes in different places. These things are only the beginning of troubles, like the first pains of a woman giving birth.” Matt 24:4-8 The “Messiah” is salvation (Yahweh is salvation), yet the organization declares itself as salvation. Acts 4:12 “Come to Jehovah’s organization for salvation” W/81/11 p 212 1914 is part of the lie spewed out by the dragon, like a flood after the “woman” covenant – those Chosen ones in Christ, and his seed. Could it be that we must humble ourselves and realize that we have been fooled just as thousands have over the centuries by listening to false prophets? “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Rev 12:17 The GB, your “fellow Christians” foster a long history of misleading lies that continue to transform into “new light”. Isa 5:20 How can they stand before Christ comfortably knowing the organization has misled thousands of lives with unfulfilled dates and changing doctrine? Mark 9:42 Here are a few, taught with “no doubt”, and with the Lord’s “stamp of his seal”. This equates to false prophesy. "The Scriptural proof is that the second presence of the Lord Jesus Christ began in 1874 A.D." (Prophecy, 1929, p. 65) "We have no doubt whatever in regard to the chronology relating to the dates of 1874, 1914, 1918, and 1925. It was on this line of reckoning that the dates 1874, 1914, and 1918 were located; and the Lord has placed the stamp of his seal upon 1914 and 1918 beyond any possibility of erasure. What further evidence do we need? Using this same measuring line.... it is an easy matter to locate 1925, probably in the fall, for the beginning of the antitypical jubilee. There can be no more question about 1925 than there was about 1914." (Watchtower, p. 150, May 15, 1922) "In this twentieth century an independent study has been carried on that does not blindly follow some traditional chronological calculations of Christendom, and the published timetable resulting from this independent study gives the date of man's creation as 4026 B.C.E. So six thousand years of man's existence on earth will soon be up, yes, within this generation." (Life Everlasting in Freedom of the Sons of God, p29, 1966 [Note: 4026 BC to 1975AD = 6000 years]) “But the prophet who dares to speak a message in My name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods—that prophet must die.’ You may say to yourself, ‘How can we recognize a message the Lord has not spoken?’ When a prophet speaks in the Lord’s name, and the message does not come true or is not fulfilled, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.” Deut 18:20-22 Freedom is not found in the organization, but only in Christ. False prophesy, idolatry, and misleading Christ’s sheep are not how one abides in his word. “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31,32 "Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them. 27 Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, to shed blood, to destroy people, and to get dishonest gain. 28 Her prophets plastered them with untempered mortar, seeing false visions, and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord had not spoken. 8. When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matt 3:16,17 While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” Matt 17:5 And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!” Mark 9:7 And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!” Luke 9:35 And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. “I do not receive honor from men. But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; IF ANOTHER COMES IN HIS OWN NAME, HIM YOU WILL RECEIVE (Watchtower’s ‘mountainlike’ Organization). How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you—Moses, in whom you trust. For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?” John 5:37-47 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.” Col 3:1-7 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matt 6:19-21 Seeing that many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast. For you put up with fools gladly, since you yourselves are wise! For you put up with it if one brings you into bondage, if one devours you, if one takes from you, if one exalts himself, if one strikes you on the face. 2 Cor 11:18-20 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it! 2 Cor 11:3-4 “And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” Luke 21:24 “Therefore my people have gone into captivity, Because they have no knowledge; Their honorable men are famished, And their multitude dried up with thirst.” Isa 5:13 “He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.” Rev 13:10 Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you. 2 Shake yourself from the dust, arise; Sit down, O Jerusalem! Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion! Isa 52:1,2 “ Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.” Eph 5:14 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." Rev 3:20 See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Heb 12:25-27 ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’” Zech 4:7 “Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.” Rev 8:8 “But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk.” Rev 9:20
  9. What is personal gain? Is is something found in the world, something tangible that the organization provides? "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" Matt 8:36 "Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ". Phil 3:8 This is the simplicity that is Christ. 2 Cor 11:3 God's instructions are to listen to his son, obey his teachings, decipher "good fruit" from the bad, and accept the little ones who are in Christ. Luke 9:35;John 14:15,23; Matt 25:31-36; Matt 12:33 I am not sure why you sited Acts 3:22. Aside from the fact that it is referring to Jesus, you wouldn’t be using it in reference to the Governing Body, would you? If you are suggesting that the Governing Body is a composite “prophet”, notice their words: "The Governing Body consists of a group of anointed Christian men These preside over the worldwide activities of Jehovah's Witnesses. They are not inspired by God and hence are not infallible, but they rely on God's infallible Word as the highest authority on earth." Jehovah's Witnesses - Unitedly Doing God's Will Worldwide p.26 Doesn’t one need to be inspired to be a prophet? And if they admit they are not inspired, why would sheep hang on to their every changing word as if they are true prophets? Jer 23:32 Who gives them the right to expect obedience to be given them? Certainly not God or Christ. Ps 118:9; 146:3 You reference to Matt 15:9 fits the organization perfectly, doctrines of end times (1914) of “generation”, of an earthly organization as Mt. Zion, etc. By not accepting these doctrines one can be disfellowshiped. God’s sheep, his anointed ones are not united with their Master, Christ in the organization, but are scattered. Ezek 39:12,28,29; Micah 5:8; Amos 9:9; Mark 13:27 The restoration of God’s Temple/Christ’s Body begins if they leave such an oppressive rule over God’s chosen ones, the spiritual house of “Israel,” and by their willingness to repent from idolatry. Micah 5:3; 4:10; Rev 12:2; 13:7,10; Luke 21:4; Rev 18:4-8 Rev 18:4-8 God’s anointed are trampled by a Gentile elder body - false priests who willingly disfellowship one for not accepting doctrine of men.
  10. "And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." Matt 24:11-14 The love of many will grow cold, as the result of lawlessness - a falling away from the commandments of Christ – to love one another as oneself, and to love God with our whole heart, soul, mind; both of which the organization cannot boast of doing. Take comfort in knowing, Shiwiii, that the true gospel being preached is the coming of Christ and the call to “come out of her my people” (Rev 18:4-8) and repent for our sins, as the New Covenant reaches fulfillment. As JWs look for the “Great Tribulation” still to come, they have no clue how the heart and soul undergo a tribulation when issues like your own, as well as choosing truth in Christ over the lies in the organization, affects the person. In my opinion, the Great Tribulation is underway and hearts are making their choice based on their own desires – to serve God or man. Most certainly you are in my prayers.
  11. The blatant hypocrisy is still vivid. While child abuse cases are hidden from the congregations, committed by leaders, these very ones mark another as one to shun, while their own sin lays tucked away in order to keep the organization looking clean. Luke 11:39,43,44 "For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes,3 and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, “You sit here in a good place,” and say to the poor man, “You stand there,” or, “Sit here at my footstool,” 4 have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts? If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well; but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. " James 2:2-4,8,9 "Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand. So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way." Rom 14:4,12,13 Disfellowshiping and shunning covers a gambit of reasons. It seems to be somewhat based on the whim of the elder body. If one declares salvation as coming from the Father and Christ, rejecting the organization as such, this too leads to disfellowshiping. “These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. They will put you out of the synagogues (Greek: "de-church you/disfellowship you); yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me. But these things I have told you, that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with you." John 16:1-4 This killing today by one's own brothers is spoken of in the symbolic book of Revelation. (Rev 1:1, ("presented it in signs") It is a cutting off, a silencing, a "be-heading" of one proclaiming truth in Christ. Rev 20:4;12:11,17 Interestingly, John the Baptist was literally beheaded for his announcements made to God's people before the coming of Christ. Luke 7:24-28; Matt 14:11 Would the actions disfellowshiping produce spiritual bloodguilt? Ezek 22 directs attention to "this city" of bloodshed and its idolatry.
  12. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matt 28:19,20 Baptism questions: “On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sins and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will?” “Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in association with God's spirit-directed organization? Having answered yes to these questions, candidates are in a right heart condition to undergo Christian baptism." Where is baptizing in the name of the Holy Spirit mentioned? Does that come under “spirit-directed”? If we are to observe Jesus’ commandments, why wouldn’t baptism be as he directed, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit? Concerning the “law of Christ” in Gal 6:2, the scriptures go on to say we are to examine our own work and whatever we sow, we reap. Can the WT say that they indeed are “doing good to all” if the baptism is not in line with Jesus’ commandments, the “law of Christ” when it is done in the name of the organization? “But may I never boast, except in the torture stake of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom the world has been put to death with regard to me and I with regard to the world.” Gal 6:14 2 Tim 3:6-9; Titus 1:15,16
  13. I am so sorry for your difficulties, Shiwiii. I hope your children will be okay. I have seen a case where a reproof is all that is done and the sister later married her new love (a JW) after divorcing the father of her children. Interestingly, her children tried to talk sense into her using what they had learned from the bible. They are now out of the organization, having nothing to do with their own spirituality as well as their father, who was also a JW. The sister, on the other hand, is still a JW, along with her new husband. I will keep you in prayer.
  14. I noticed when pasting from word, things get twisted and this one escaped my noticed. "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God?" Col 3:1
  15. I do tend to go "all out". Truth in the scriptures is the priority, they speak volumes. Sorry to overload you. Please let me know what I haven't answered.
  16. You said two very disconnected thoughts (your words are in green): Here's the thing. I’m not here to press upon you what I think scripture means. So, you can recite the entire bible. It won’t make any difference until you learn the TRUE meaning of scripture. Don’t let hypocrisy be ones undoing. Because in essence, you’re going against bible principle. Your second comment tells me that the meaning of scripture is indeed important to you, but your refuting my many points made with scripture go unheeded and labeled as “going against bible principle”. If bible principle is that important, shouldn’t we bring up the scriptures to endorse it, which is what I’ve done continually? What bible principle do you feel I am disregarding? The idea that the Bible Students and the Jehovah’s Witnesses share the same ideology, is simply…distorting the FACTS. I don’t recall making any support to Bible Students. Now your biggest problem with the WTS is HATE. You definitely don't understand scripture, but press upon using scripture to misrepresent the intended use. That’s fine. The only one your hurting is you. This is my commitment: And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”Mar 12:30,31 I can strive to do this by giving God whole souled worship and with guidance of the Holy Spirit I can love my neighbor as myself. No man should stand in the way of telling us how to do this. I wouldn’t be on here to hopefully open JWs eyes if it wasn’t love for those I have known and loved for over 30 years. I hate the lies which affect the lives of thousands under this operation of error over many years – the strong delusion JWs reside in. 2 Thess 2:1-12 I fear for the very souls who persist in idolatry against the Almighty God. Rev 9:20 You have two beasts on your hands; one, a false prophet/harlot who has left their covenant in Christ, the source of life, by choosing to teach lies. Rev 16:13; 17:15;Isa 28:15; 2 Cor 12-15 The other, an “image” that enforces its mark signifying one’s actions and commitment (identifying mark of baptism). Rev 13:14,15; 14:9-11 It has been given authority by the second beast to “kill” (disfellowship) those who refuse it and listen instead to Christ. Rev 20:4; Mark 10:42-45;29-31; 10:19 This is Revelation’s fulfillment sir, this is the end time destruction of Christ’s seed by Satan, the “fourth beast” of Daniel. Gen 3:15; Dan 7:23; 8:25; Dan 12:7; Mark 20:14 You can look into the world for fulfillment as JWs always have, while residing in a proposed spiritual paradise, forgetting that Jesus comes as a thief in the night. Matt 24:43; 1 Thess 5:2; Rev 3:3; 16:15; 1 Thess 5:3; Jer 14:13,14 Or, we can turn from the earthly, sensual desires and give our attention fully to Christ and the Father. 1 John 2:15-17; James 4:4; Acts 17:24; 2 Cor 1:12; Phil 3:19; James 3:14,15 Col 3:1 , where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.seek the things that are aboveIf then you have been raised with Christ, Stephen, one of the “seven good men” you mentioned, portrayed this to the hard-hearted Jews. “Our ancestors carried the Tabernacle with them through the wilderness. It was constructed according to the plan God had shown to Moses. Years later, when Joshua led our ancestors in battle against the nations that God drove out of this land, the Tabernacle was taken with them into their new territory. And it stayed there until the time of King David. David found favor with God and asked for the privilege of building a permanent Temple for the God of Jacob. But it was Solomon who actually built it. However, the Most High doesn’t live in temples made by human hands. As the prophet says, ‘Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Could you build Me a temple as good as that?’ asks the Lord. ‘Could you build Me such a resting place? Didn’t My hands make both heaven and earth?’ You stubborn people! You are heathen at heart and deaf to the truth. Must you forever resist the Holy Spirit? That’s what your ancestors did, and so do you!" (Acts 7:44-51). Stephen was “full of grace and power, was doing great wonders and signs among the people” (Acts 6:8), and he was hated for it, by certain Jews. I believe it was fear and jealousy – fear of the threat against a tradition well loved, jealousy because Stephen’s words showed his wisdom and the blessing of Holy Spirit. Interestingly, he was accused “secretly” by appointed men who said, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.” Acts 6:11 Can you tell me why he said, “must you forever resist the Holy Spirit?” His whole focus was on Jesus Christ, the Father and the New Covenant. The Temple was man’s idea to build, the tabernacle was God’s. In that tabernacle were the stone tablets given to Moses, and signified the moveable presence of God amidst the people. God allowed for the Jews’ desire to build their temples, but with the New Covenant in Christ, “he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away." Heb 8:13 The words that Stephen quoted from Isa 66:1,2 shows God cannot be contained to a building of any form, yet, Jehovah’s Witnesses, in their stiff-necked ways continue to do it: As they do so, they encounter many individuals, both young and old, who have the potential for becoming “desirable things” that will glorify Jehovah’s house. W/00/1/15 p 14-19 There is also a children’s video, Lesson 18: Respect Jehovah’s House Those anointed in Christ now carry the laws written on the heart - a “witness” ( Acts 7:44)– this is where God and Christ now reside. Gal 4:26; Col 2:17 This shows no need for a temple, a church, a kingdom hall, an organization. For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.1 Cor 3:9 (10-17) And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all. 2 Cor 3:2,3 Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst? 1 Cor 3:16 (2 Cor 5:1; Eph 3:17; 1 John 3:24; Eph 4:11-15) Is Stephen’s message any different than what I’ve been telling you? For rejecting the organization, and accepting Christ Jesus and God only as salvation; “secretly” in a back room of kingdom hall brothers and sisters are accused of blasphemy just like Stephen. They are not stoned to death but are considered as good as dead through the decision of disfellowshiping for not accepting an organization as one’s salvation. My message is not one of hate to brothers and sisters, but one of warning, to flee from an idolatrous situation. This, on the other hand is hate: "Being limited by the laws of the worldly nation in which we live and also by the laws of God through Jesus Christ, we can take action against brothers only to a certain extent, that is, consistent with both sets of laws. The law of the land and God's law through Christ forbid us to kill brothers, even though they be members of our own flesh-and-blood family relationship. However, God's law requires us to recognize their being disfellowshiped from his congregation, and this despite the fact that the law of the land in which we live requires us under some natural obligation to live with and have dealings with such brothers under the same roof. Wt. ‘52/11/15 p 703 Now you stated elsewhere not to inject personal thoughts, I don’t ever recall saying that. and yet…the opinions you have about the WTS are your personal opinion. So, do yourself a favor and not rely on apostasy sites for your information, or wannabe JW’s that pretend to be Witnesses when they are NOT. Ann O’maly, and JWinsider are a perfect example of putting trust on a false prophet. But then, anyone evangelizing for deception in the eyes of God is a FALSE PROPHET, Right! Anyone who deliberately misleads the flock for their own personal gain. Should I list the failed prophetic dates of the WT and the lies to cover up their failures, or let you do the research? Would you not agree that the flock of JWs has been misled many times over the years in anticipation of a new date for Armageddon? The fourth beast: He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time Dan 7:25 (Rev 13:10; Luke 22:31; Mal 3:2,3; Ezek 37:23; Rev 11:1-3) Answer yourself that. The Governing Body if you really must know didn’t have its inception when it was first published that way. It began Before Rutherford. So WTS history, you definitely don't. Before a theocratic Governing Body was appointed, there were presidents who were the primary go-to for theocratic decisions, along with a governing body that dealt not with theocratic matters, but matters of business. The governing body then is not the Governing Body today. Verification of this fact can be found in Geoffrey Jackson’s answers to Angus Stewart during the Australian Royal Commission on the 1006 hidden cases of child abuse: “I would have to check on that, because personally that’s not my field.” “I preface this in the fact that it is not my field that I work with every day…” “Seeing it is not my field per se, I couldn’t give an inclusive answer with regard to that…” And many more. “Only as far as approving the basic scriptural principles. So is there a scriptural principle that you have in mind you want to ask me about, or are you talking about policies and implementation of policies? There is a difference there.” GJ (see also W 2001/1/15 pp 28-31) When looking at the 7 men that you spoke of in Acts 7, did you notice that all the apostles and disciples got together to consider the appointment? Is this the case when choosing a member of the GB? Are other anointed ones and members of the Body of Christ included in this? From the Australian Royal Commission: Lawyer Angus Stewart: “And is it the case that the Governing Body then appoints new members of the Governing Body? GB member Geoffrey Jackson: “That is correct.” Now you call yourself a Christian of good standing. FALSE! If you were in good standing, you would reflect in everything you write, and correct your views. You know, I have never said I was in “good standing”. Each one of us answers to our judge, Jesus Christ. Each one of us is tested to our whole souled faith in, and commitment to God. I certainly am a Christian who relies on Holy Spirit continually for direction, the remembrance of God’s laws, and remaining in his love. We have a choice in the spiritual battle of truth over lies. I chose truth in Jesus Christ, devoid of any manmade doctrine. Heb 13:9 “But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. And have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.” Jude 1:17-23 Yes, it as you say, we don’t want hypocrisy to be our undoing. We search the scriptures for truth and refinement from lies. We do not expect God to change any wrongs or failed predictions the organization may commit, but we change ourselves, since each one of us will be held accountable for our acceptance of wayward teachings, or our listening to Christ. These are the bible principles we are to follow, to continually test the “fruit” to see if it is good or bad. If bad, we are to reject it, not tolerate it. Matt 7:18; Rev 3:18; Matt 17:5; Jer 23:16; Isa 28:5-15 Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. John 14:23 The Last Harlot and Her Beast http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2012/12/here-is-earlier-post-with-updates.html
  17. Hello Mr. VHC, Scriptures help us make good sense of all those questions, which I admit are thought-provoking. Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. John 5:18 This claim by the Pharisees held no weight when the conversation between Jesus and the Pharisees ensued as they announced that their Father was God. “I know that you are Abraham’s descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. 38 I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.”39 They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father. ”Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this. 41 You do the deeds of your father.” Then they said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; we have one Father—God.” 42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do.” John 8:37-44 This helps sum up our status as whose “children” we belong to, and the point Jesus was making. 1 John 3:1 “In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.” 1 John 3:10 (Can we proclaim ourselves “righteous”, then proceed to disfellowship a brother who cares to follow Christ and the Father completely? Is this love? Rom 10:2,3) I believe the closest that Jesus displays God’s form, is as The Word. While on earth, of course, he was the in the form of man. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not deem himself worthy of snatching equality with God, but emptied Himself and took the form of a slave, taking on the likeness of humans. And being found himself in human design, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of impalement." Phil 2:5-8 This “form of God” is as The Word – as spirit, born of God’s spirit as the “only begotten Son” John3:16; 1:14,18 By God’s command, life came through this begotten one in spirit form, who had a beginning, unlike God. John 14:6; Heb 11:3; Gen 1:26; Prov 8:22-31 “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.” John 1:3,10 “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.” Col 1:16 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. Heb 1:1-4 With God, there is no beginning. 1 Tim 1:17; 1 Chron 29:10; Titus 1:2 “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth, He will not grow tired or weary and his understanding no one can fathom.” Isa 40:28 If Christ is an extension of God’s spirit, first in God’s form as the Word, those “in Christ” and who become one with him, are all to share the same spirit from God, as children of God. “We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.” 1 John 4:6,13 When Jesus said, I am the way the truth the life, it shows him originally as the Word, not only the source of life, but the spirit emanating from God. 1 John 5:6 “This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.” 1 John 5:6 2 Pet 1:21; James 4:5 Jesus deserves our relative worship because of this spiritual connection with the Almighty Father, which acknowledges the authority that God has given him. For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him. When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all. 1 Cor 15:27,28 The GB has altered this sense of worship to be given Christ through their opting to translate the Greek word for worship as “obeisance” in all instances regarding Christ, and as “worship” regarding God in the NWT. Jer 23:36; 2 Pet 3:16 If they do not recognize Christ’s power established by God, his rightful authority, the many facets of who he is, as the Word coming directly from God, as Michael standing up for God’s people, and how this Mighty God deserves our worship - can they even comprehend being “one” in Christ, let alone one in God? Christ is “the brightness of his glory”! How can we dismiss him as just an example of loyalty to imitate? They are good examples for us to imitate. Of course, Jesus is the best example for all dedicated servants of Jehovah. w/12/6/15 “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Phil 2:9-11 To the anointed ones and to all sheep, our direct Master and mediator is Christ. The below comment by the WT is true, but diverts attention from Christ. The basis for Christian dedication is love of our heavenly Master, Jehovah. W 13/10/15 Has the organization denied our Master, Jesus Christ, not only by subduing any worship to be given him; but by concealing his true nature as our salvation and not an organization? James 3:14-16; Phil 3:18,19; Rev 5:12-14; Heb 2:3; John 1:4,5 “For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.” Jude 1:4 “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.” Col 1:15 Don’t you agree it should be our desire to “know Christ” above and beyond what we may think we know about him? "But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead." Phil 3:7-11 The oneness in Christ and the Father still means we are individuals, since Christ is a separate entity from God; yet holy spirit bonds one to Christ and the Father in knowledge, love, righteousness in the same manner as the early apostles experienced. Paul, Peter, James...all had their own personality, but were sealed in Christ and his purpose as part of God's Temple arrangement. 1 Pet 3:8-12;2:5,9 "Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind." Phil 2:2 (Col 2:2,3 Glory - http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2014/12/glory.html
  18. This is his only structure, built on love, of which I brought out above: “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” 21 But the temple he had spoken of was his body. John 2:19,20 1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16; Eph 2:22, 22,20; Ps 118:22; 1 Cor 12:27,18,28; 1 Cor 11:28,28,31; Rev 20:6; James 1:18, Rev 14:4 You still haven’t shown me any other arrangement. The early temple arrangement was a shadow of this new Temple in Christ. They serve in a sanctuary that is a copy, a shadow of the heavenly one. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tent: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown you on the mountain.” Heb 8:5 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. Col 2:17 Heb 10:1; 1 Pet 2:5,9,10 We know that on the hearts of these anointed ones are God’s laws written by the holy spirit, which causes them to “bear witness” through their works when in harmony with these laws. 2 Cor 3:3; Rom 2:12-16 “So how can one be of one body and one mind, if one does not build upon the structure with obedience.” Obedience to whom? To man? And what structure can man build as equal to what God has created? The structure built upon, is Christ and the anointed Body, to the benefit of all. Our obedience is not to men (obey God as ruler rather than men), but to the Father and Christ. Acts 5:29; Rom 6:16 You say, “Those instructions were passed down in a form of obedience to direction by God’s inspired word.” Are you implying this obedience must come through men, when we are to obey the gospel, God and Christ? Gal 3:1; 5:7; 2 Thess 1:8 "Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching (from God). My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them." John 14:23 Paul said, “And if anyone does not obey our word in this epistle, note that person and do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed.” 2 Thess 3:14 This says nothing about obeying men and their uninspired writings (which they agree are not inspired); but the gospel which is inspired. If we obey what Jesus taught, we are obeying God. John 12:49 Now, if you throw in Heb 13:17 which says… Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. Look at the word for, “who rule over you”, G2233, which means basically, to “lead, to go before, to be a leader”. In the Body of Christ, there are leaders to lead one to Christ and obey his teachings through fine fruits of the holy spirit. (Mal 2:7-9) Jesus was a leader who washed his disciple's feet. This is leading by example in servitude and humility. Paul was one of those leaders, who would teach as you say…. “These instructions were given for the purpose of not deviating away from the message. For us to get it straight, so that our teaching would be sound when teaching others.” That’s the key, isn’t it, sound teaching in Christ; which the Wt doesn’t display through their historic failed prophesies and their present infamous words showing otherwise: At that time, the life-saving direction that we receive from Jehovah’s organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint. w13 11/15 pp. 16-20 – For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers 2 Tim 4:3 This is the exact scripture you pointed out to me. A true leader in Christ would say, “Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.” 2 Tim 1:13 “There is a chain of command per say to fulfilling all of our godly devotion.” One of the WT lawyers actually did compare the organization the Catholic Church and its hierarchy. Calvin Rouse - “We are a hierarchical religion just like the Catholic Church. And when the order from the Pope comes down in the church defrocking a priest and kicking him out, he no longer has any say in any matter in the local parish priest” Once upon a time, it was said: “Who, then, is doing the discipling work today? There can be no doubt of this. It is the Christian witnesses of Jehovah. The revival of the work of making disciples is to be found in that organization in these last days. They have freed themselves from the constricting creeds and contaminating false doctrines of the nominal churches. They have freed themselves from the hierarchical, congregational and all other forms of church rule that are unscriptural and they are governed by theocratic rule.” (w66 4/1 p205) There is no superiority within the body of Christ! Paul continually built up the body in love, while the GB has torn it down in lack of love due to an atmosphere of superiority. Paul’s words: Rom 12:13 - 3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. 1 Cor 12:24-26 Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave. Matt.20:26,27 The GB teaches obedience to them; thus, this is your "chain of command". If they were truly a servant as Paul, not only to the whole Body of Christ but to all; they would “slave” as such a servant in humility, but instead prefer the best seat with a title only Jesus Christ will give to any servant who proves faithful. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. 1 PET 4:10 So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. Matt 20:16 “You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, (for instance, “defrocking a priest and kicking him out”) you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance? Rom 2:1-4 Does this last scripture allow for any judgment on the part of GB to wield against one’s own brother through disfellowshiping or to submit to obedience...to mere men? This is the difference between Christ’s total arrangement and the centralized authoritative arrangement by men, where love cannot exist. But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Matt 20:25-28 Take these scriptures and align them with the WT comment that obedience is necessary even if doctrine is not “sound”. "It is extremely important for us to obey the elders. Why? Think of how Jehovah gave instructions to his people so that they could survive difficult times in the past." WT 11/2013 This is not the guidance Paul gave, in fact to those who were lording it over others he said, “ For who makes you differ from another? 1 Cor 4:7 The genuine anointed GB has chosen for themselves the title “faithful slave” over all other anointed in Christ. This desire for prominence is not new: For who makes you superior? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not receive it? You already have all you want! (a self-assumed title of a faithful and discreet slave) You have already become rich! You have become kings without us! I wish you really were kings so that we could be kings with you! 9 For it seems to me that God has put us apostles on display in last place, like men condemned to death. We have become a spectacle for the world, for angels, and for people to stare at. It is the “wicked brothers” considered “spiritually dead” that become the spectacle; all for serving Christ and the Father and knowing obedience to men is unscriptural. We are fools for the Messiah’s sake, but you are wise in the Messiah. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, but we are dishonored.1 We are hungry, thirsty, dressed in rags, brutally treated, and homeless, right up to the present. We wear ourselves out from working with our own hands. When insulted, we bless. When persecuted, we endure. When slandered, we answer with kind words. Even now we have become the filth of the world, the scum of the universe.1 Cor 4:7-13 Those that stand up to the GB and elder body, by saying their salvation is in God and Christ alone, follow the example of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the gold image which I have set up? (Do you not accept or identify that the organizational image is sanctioned by God?) But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?” Dan 3:15 Disfellowshiping ensues with the mark of a “spiritual death” Rev 11:9 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. Rev 11:11 Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! Dan 3:28 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Rev 20:4 There is no comparing Paul’s encouraging guidance to lead ones to Christ, against the GB’s assumed authority passed on to “gentile” elders who require full obedience to them. Rom 4:4;Luke 16:10 Now concerning food offered to idols: We know that we all possess knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. If anyone thinks he really knows something, he has not yet learned it as he ought to know it. But anyone who loves God is known by him. 1 Cor 8:1-3 One last thought, when the organization was instituting a governing body in the ‘70’s, Fred Franz gave a revealing talk to the Gilead Graduating class of September ’75, proving there was no governing body in the first century. I hope you consider hearing it. http://www.authorstream.com/Presentation/minimoog-898174-gilead-grad-talk-59th-class/ Foolish Virgins http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2015/04/foolish-virgins.html
  19. Hello again Sir, You are defending the GB, I realize that. You believe they are blessed by the Holy Spirit simply because they are anointed, and because they call themselves the “faithful and discreet slave”. We must remember that any anointed one can fall from God’s grace by their desire for prominence. This was prophesied. 2 Thess 2:1-4; Jude 1:8-13; 3 John 1:9,10; 2 Tim 3:1-9 I believe the Angel of the Lord you are referring to was the Christ himself, as Michael and as the Word. Jesus has been given various roles and assignments displaying his wondrous capacity, various responsibilities, and divine nature. Isa 9:6; Luke 1:31-33; Matt 1:21,23; John 1:1,14,29; Rev 19:11,16 He bears the role of Michael, the Archangel (Who is Like God) (Josh 5:13,14), and as the Word (messenger or “angel”) (also Josh 5:13). It is with the "commanding call" of Christ, that he gather his faithful anointed, with this voice. Rev 1:10,12,13; 1 Thess 4:16; Joel 2:11; Rev 19:11,14,8 Dan 12:1; Rom 7:25; 2 Tim 4:18 1 Cor 10 gives solid evidence of Christ’s presence with Moses and the Israelites: Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, 4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ. But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness. 1 Cor 10:1-5 The one who bears this spiritual food is mentioned in John 6: Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 36 But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe." John 6:26-32;36(John6:26-32,36) This is the bread which comes down from heaven that one may eat of it and not die. John 6:50 Jesus represents or is, the “bread of life” as the Word, and we see he provided spiritual sustenance from God to those people in the wilderness. John 6:33,35 Since Jesus and the Father are one, sharing the same light, (John 10:30; 8:12; 14:20; 1 John 1:5) the Angel of the Lord that appeared to Moses was Christ, in one of him many capacities. John 8:18 Thus, ultimately it was God who lead Moses and the people out of Egypt, as they are one. Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. John 14:8-11 (Gen 16:10,13; Judges 13:21,22) The Word was with the Father since the beginning. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” John 8:54-58 57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” John 8:56-58 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. John 1:1-3;6-9 To “bear witness of the Light”, and God is this Light. Since Jesus is also light, it shows the ability of Christ to represent God to Moses, and cause Moses’ face to shine. Exod 34:35 (Matt 17:2; Rev 1:16) And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:40 (Ps 78:21-25) He is also the “hidden manna” of Rev 2:17, which is Truth. (Matt 4:4; John 17:17) To compare the GB with Moses goes against God’s arrangement today. The only Head and Leader of the anointed ones is Jesus Christ, and they are not expected to replace Christ as Head among any man. Matt 23:8,10; Eph 1:22; 5:29,30,28; Col 1:18 We know the GB does not speak face to face with God, (Heb 9:24) nor can they be compared to the angel that appeared before Moses. God has given Jesus divine approval to be Head of the Congregation and none other. Eph 1:22; John 8:18; Mark 9:7 At this time of the end, Jesus again leads those of a righteous and repentant heart toward salvation through the declaration of truth Jesus provides them. Rev 11:1-11 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts.(2 Cor 3:3; Heb 10:15-17) And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” Jer 31:31-34 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 1 Thess 4:16 Deut 5:6; Exod 20:2;7:5;29:46;Num 15:41; Ps 81:10; Deut 5:6; Hos 13:4
  20. I give you scripture upon scripture, hoping you will open your eyes. Yes, Christ demands unity of the Body as source of teaching and building up of one another. In prophesy, we are told that those who are “sighing and groaning” over all these detestable things is being done in the midst of “Jerusalem”. Ezek 9:4 The anointed are God’s Temple, New Jerusalem and the location of the detestable things being committed. 1 Pet 2:5,9 1 Cor 3:16; Eph 2:22, 21, 20; Ps 118:22 The perceived unity within the organization is forced by men at the direction of, yes, an evil slave who demands silence among God’s chosen ones. Concerning the entire situation of the organization, there are those who either “like it that way” (Jer 5:30,31) and continue in idolatry in God’s name (Rev 14:18,19; Jer25: 29,30) or they wake up, get out and follow God’s requirements for life. Isa 42:18-20,23; Matt 24:37,39. Anointed Christians do not feel that they should spend time only with other anointed ones, as if they were members of a club. They do not try to find other anointed ones so that they can talk about being anointed or meet in groups to study the Bible. W 16/1 p 20-26 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matt 24:44-46 Learn about the Body of Christ in 1 Cor 12:1-31 Read your scriptures and put man’s opinion aside. And what I am doing I will continue to do, in order to undermine the claim of those who would like to claim that in their boasted mission they work on the same terms as we do. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds. 2 Cor 11:12-15 An idol is an image, a representation of anything, or a symbol that is an object of passionate devotion, whether material or imagined. It is usually practiced toward a real or supposed higher power, whether such power is believed to have animate existence (as a human, an animal, or an organization) or is inanimate (as a force or lifeless object of nature). it-1 pp. 1167-1172 We also love the organization that Jehovah uses to teach us wonderful truths. ws11 7/15 pp. 10-16 But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough. 2 Cor 11:3,4
  21. Preaching means nothing if it leads one to identify with an organization propounded to be salvation and with a history of false prophesy. As I said earlier, “To call an earthly organization full of corruption hidden under the surface as God’s promise of life, is blasphemy. Luke 4:5-8 One cannot fill the eye with loyalty to God and Christ by serving an organization placed in Satan’s realm. Matt 6:24” Which covenant promise would set sights on the earthly, life or death? Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. James 3:13-17 The organization cannot boast that it is pure when examining its history of confusion in teachings and false prophesy; thus it does not impart good fruits. It is far from peaceable, when disfellowshiping exists that breaks up families. It shows no mercy to God’s chosen ones for choose to serve their Master, Christ outside of an organization. Its doctrines are not willing to yield to the victims harmed through pedophilia, disfellowshiping, trampling, and oppression. And just as a child seeks his parents’ protection when a storm rages, we seek protection in Jehovah’s organization when, like a thunderstorm, the problems of this world strike us. w11 4/15 pp. 3-5 - As the above WT quote should show you, it is partial to itself; hypocritical toward God who alone is our protective fortress. I love you, God— you make me strong. God is bedrock under my feet, the castle in which I live, my rescuing knight. My God—the high crag where I run for dear life, hiding behind the boulders, safe in the granite hideout. Ps 18:2 Do you see the hypocrisy? Do you see the idolatry? "To whom would you liken Me And make Me equal and compare Me, That we would be alike? Isa 46:5 “Jehovah’s organization” is viewed equal to God! Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me Isa 46:9 Yet my people have forgotten me; they burn incense to worthless idols, which made them stumble in their ways, in the ancient paths. They made them walk in byways, on roads not built up. Jer 18:1 The burning of incense has the connotation of giving praise, prayers and adoration to something, be it God or an idol. “Seeking protection” in an earthly basic principle of the world is worthless. The result is spiritual stumbling and confusion in teachings; the forgetting of the laws written on the hearts of anointed ones who have ultimately severed themselves from the vine of Christ, for their own self-seeking existence. When one stumbles thousands on doctrine, be it minor or major, this shows the absence of good fruit. Christ doesn’t mislead thousands for the good of any cause whatsoever. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. John 15:5,6 Their work brings praise to Jehovah and his organization. kr chap. 20 pp. 209-219 Again, the two entities are one in the same, but God has said, ‘there is none like me”. Why would he make an exception now – the God who is unchanging? Mal 3:6; James 1:17 If you read around your scripture in Col 2, notice: Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations— “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,” which all concern things which perish with the using—according to the commandments and doctrines of men? These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh. The neglect of the “body” is practiced by your Governing Body, who silences their own in the Body of Christ, when each member is to be viewed equal, with no partiality. Eph 5:29 Who is enforcing doctrines of men if it isn’t the organization? I remember reading an Awake article on how to clean my car, of all things; as if one cannot think for themselves. If one is dedicated to Christ alone, no one needs to remind you how to please him. Holy Spirit direct us individually in all aspects of life, and no man tells me if I am doing it well (do not touch, do not taste, do not handle). The organization prides itself on the basic principles of the world, appearing wise, humble, all under false pretenses and missing the value of Christ’s nourishment that comes from the vine of Christ. The true preaching work of the good news is one of coming out to repentance and allowing Christ to directly nourish us in truth at the "marriage feast" of the lamb. 22. Hello Mr. VHC, I am sure you know Moses communicated with God directly, and was considered above prophets: Then He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream. 7 Not so with My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My house. 8 I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?” Num 12:6-8 No man, anointed or not, can claim such a position with God. All knew he was a genuine representative of God. When it comes to chosen ones, there are two possibilities. “Who really is the faithful and discreet slave?” Matt 24:25 Some become unfaithful slaves, teaching error. 1 Tim 4:1; Matt 24:4,5,11,24,25,48-51;7:15,20; 2 Pet 2:1-3; Col 2:8; John 8:47; 2 Cor 11:13-15; Rev 2:2; 2 Thess 2:1-4; Acts 20:30; Luke 16:1,2; Rev 2:20; 13:7,10,11 And some actually lead others in the way of truth, remaining connected to the vine of Christ. 1 Cor 4:2,1; John 7:38,39,18,17; John 15:4 Are you comparing Moses to the GB? Or rather, should we compare the GB to the Pharisees? “Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, 2 saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. Therefore whatever they tell you to observe that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments (false piety christening themselves and proclaiming to be “faithful and discreet”). They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’ (…or the "faithful and discreet slave") 8 But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. Matt 23:1-12 I ask you to go to your website and search for Governing Body inspired. Perhaps in older literature there may be reference to such, but the closest I have found is this: Theocratic appointments come from Jehovah through his Son and God’s visible earthly channel, “the faithful and discreet slave” and its Governing Body. (Matthew 24:45-47) The whole process of such recommendation and appointment is directed, or guided, by holy spirit. This is the case because the qualifications are set out in God’s Word, which is inspired by holy spirit, and the individual appointed gives evidence of producing the fruitage of that spirit. Therefore, the appointments are to be viewed as being made by holy spirit. w/15/1/15 This seems a pretty hazy conclusion when scriptures speak of Moses as the Servant of the Lord. Josh. 1:1, 15; 8:21, 23; 18:7 Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. Heb 3:1,2 Moses' faith is compared to Jesus' faith toward the Father! Can you say the same for the Governing Body, when they lord it over their own brothers by exalting themselves? "He who humbles himself will be exalted". No early humble apostle that was faithful, compared himself to Moses. … lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. For this reason, all in the congregation view it as their sacred duty to follow and uphold the direction coming from the faithful slave and its Governing Body. Wt 2007 Do you feel it is your holy, hallowed, blessed, consecrated, sanctified, venerated, revered, (synonyms for sacred) duty to uphold the direction of men that one must question whether they are inspired? Where is the proof that they are indeed faithful to Christ, their Head, when they have exalted themselves with a title that is not deserved until Christ gives it to whom he will upon his return? "His master said to him, Well done, good and faithful slave! You were faithful over a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Share your master's joy!' 23. Thank you Eoin Joyce for posting these articles. This one agrees that with God and Christ that there is no distinction, whether on heaven or on earth; but men apparently, in the organization, do not accept this? According to the ’71 WT, “there is “neither male nor female” in God's eyes, while they are on earth. Yet, the above comment still makes the distinction of women, subtly saying there certainly IS a difference while these ones are on earth. In other words, the organization is unable to accept God's spiritual blessing on these anointed ones. Their eyes are set on "earthly" things and not those above, indeed viewing women anointed ones as such during this time is walking according to the flesh. Col 3:2; 2 Pet 2:10 I believe one should look closely at the scriptures and forego men’s opinion for moment. “And you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord: “If you will not listen to Me, to walk in My law which I have set before you, to heed the words of My servants the prophets whom I sent to you, both rising up early and sending them (but you have not heeded)” Jer 26:5 According to this, we learn to heed the words of God from true prophets’ - prophets are then, teachers. The list of female prophets are as such: Miriam – Micah 6:4; Exod 15:20,21 Deborah – Judges 4:4 Huldah – Kings 22:14-20; 2 Chron 24:22-28 Noadiah – Nehemiah 6:14 Isaiah’s wife – Isa 8:3 In the New Testament: Anna – Luke 2:36 The four daughters of Phillip – Acts 21:8,9 As well as prophetic words were heard from the mouths of these women: Rachel – Gen 30:24 Hanna 1 Sam 2:1-10 Abigail 1 Sam 25:28-31 Elisabeth – Luke 1:41-45 Mary the mother of Jesus – Luke 1:46-55 Paul brought out the importance of prophesy: But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. 4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. 5 I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification. 1 Cor 14:3-5 But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching? 1 Cor 14:6 But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is convicted by all. 1 Cor 14:24 I don’t believe he is singling out men, but addressing the entire Body, making no distinction. It is also showing that prophesy is teaching words of wisdom from God. But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent. For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged. 1 Cor 14:30 This is equality in teaching. Men and women alike can teach others to “learn and be encouraged”. It was according to the LAW that women were to remain silent. We must remember that Paul taught of the fulfillment of the law through Jesus Christ. 1 Cor 14:34,35 Or did the word of God come originally from you? Or was it you only that it reached? If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord. But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant. 1 Cor 14:36-38 We can remain ignorant and still heed the old law covenant, or accept the New Covenant in Christ. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. 1 Cor 12:28 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. 1 Cor 12:4-11 No matter who prophesies, male or female, they impart words of wisdom to the hearer; each anointed one is given the same spirit to use appropriately – now, not only in the Kingdom. "And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy." Acts 2:17,18 We can see how important prophesy is in the Body. There is no superiority given men to teach others in the Body of Christ.
  24. That's a new one on me, Holly! When did the GB say that? Appalling!
  25. I’m sorry if I don’t make myself clear. My perception has not gone awry regarding salvation. It is personal, between oneself, God and Christ. This was his initial plan down to this day: Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” 20 They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” 21 But the temple he had spoken of was his body. John 2:19,20 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once werenot a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. 1 Pet 2:5,9 1 Cor 3:16; Eph 2:22, 21, 20; Ps 118:22 "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. "But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be." "And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues." 1 Cor 12:27,18,28 1 Cor 11:29,28,31; Rev.20:6; James1:18; Rev.14:4 This is the New Covenant Bride, that brings life to mankind. There is no other arrangement that God has blessed. John 4:21; Heb 10:14 You will have to prove to me from scriptures that there is another arrangement other than the Body of Christ. Acts 17:24; Heb.9:11; Eph.2:10) Paul, who was part of the Body of Christ, said; Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. 12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, 13 while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, 14 and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. 15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 2 Cor 9:10-15 “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. Rom 8:19-23 This is the only administration that God has sanctified. Obedience is only to God and Christ. Christ is mediator for all mankind; all mankind answers to Christ, not an elder committee. And yes, no one can guarantee salvation no matter who they are. But we can strive to take safe measures in serving God and Christ loyally. You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.41 “I do not receive honor from men. 42 But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. 43 I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. 44 How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? John 5:39-44 What Jesus said has not changed. Do we dare change or add to scripture? Ps 118:8;146:3 For you put up with fools gladly, since you yourselves are wise! For you put up with it if one brings you into bondage, if one devours you, if one takes from you, if one exalts himself, if one strikes you on the face. 2 Cor 11:19,20 How does a builder of traps make a successful trap? Does he point to the obvious and say, “that’s a trap, beware!”? The organization points all fingers to government, the UN (of which they were an NGO member for 9 years and still are in many countries), materialism, and states, beware, those are traps. To devise the perfect animal trap it must hidden from the unsusceptible one; baited with the perfect food clinging to jaws of death. Do you believe Satan will destroy many of Christ’s seed if the trap is exposed? Gen 3:15; Prov 1:7 Satan has successfully trapped the anointed ones, along with all sheep, with truth, since he is well aware of what truth is! What comes after is a mixed glass of poisoned teachings by fallen anointed ones, depicted as “stars” in the scriptures. Rev 8:11; Jer 23:15; Amos 6:12 (Heb 11:12; Jude 1:13) Under the expected obedience, with mouths shut to spiritual “Gentiles” and oppression of a false “spiritual paradise”, (1 Thess 5:3) the Christ and his Temple of spiritual “Jews” lay in ruins. Rom 2:29; Rev 2:9; 3:9 God allows this sifting, this choice to serve men or him completely. Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ (1914) had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth (Jer 23:29) and destroy with the brightness of His coming. (Matt 24:27,28) 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thess 2:1-12 There is only one truth that Christ has provided to lead us to salvation, and that is himself. The organization is a strong delusion that God allows. Each anointed one, each person, must be sifted, found pure of falsehoods, deceit, and detached from Satan’s world. He has legal right to dominate any worldly power; an assumed theocratic one or not, during his reign (1 John 5:19). This is still his world, along with every power and authority within it. God's Kingdom does not arrive as a pocket inside Satan's world. His powers are deceptive; his whole being and deceptions target God’s chosen ones. Rev 12:15; 13:7,13-16; Matt 24:24 In order for the completed Bride of Christ to come to fruition, the “Temple” must be restored by those who willingly listen to Christ, and “come out” to buy his refinement and repent of falsehoods. Rev 3:18-20; Mal 3:2 If the anointed are cut off and silenced by the GB - those who are in Christ – then also Christ is cut off. Seventy weeks have been decreed concerning your people and your holy city: to restrain transgression, to put an end to sin, to make atonement for lawlessness, to establish everlasting righteousness, to conclude vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place. 25 So be informed and discern that seven weeks and 62 weeks will elapse from the issuance of the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed Commander. The plaza and moat will be rebuilt, though in troubled times. 26 Then after the 62 weeks, the anointed one will be cut down (but not for himself). Then the people of the Coming Commander (GB, elder body) will destroy both the city and the Sanctuary. Its ending will come like a flood, (Matt 24:39; Luke 17:26; Rev 12:15) and until the end there will be war (Eph 6:12; Rev 13:7), with desolations having been decreed. 27 He will make a binding covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he will suspend both the sacrifice and grain offerings. (Mal 2:7; Heb 5:1; Heb 13:15) Destructive people will cause desolation on the uttermost edge of the Sanctuary (the last of to be part of the Temple/Bride) until it is complete and what has been decreed is poured out on the desolator.’”Dan 9:24-27 (Matt 24:15) “I heard the man dressed in linen clothes, who was standing above the waters of the river as he lifted his right and left hands to heaven and swore by the one who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and a half. When the shattering of the power of the holy people has occurred, all these things will conclude.” Dan 12:7 You can thank the GB/organization for bringing the power of the holy ones to nothing through statements such as this below, as well as disfellowshiping and judging one as spiritually “dead”, and that for serving their Master, Christ. Anointed Christians do not feel that they should spend time only with other anointed ones, as if they were members of a club. They do not try to find other anointed ones so that they can talk about being anointed or meet in groups to study the Bible. W 16/1 p 20-26 If you perceive this situation, then we are told in Matt 24:16 to flee to the mountains,God’s blessings from heavenly Zion and where the eagles spiritually gather. This takes faith and confidence that one can rely solely on Jesus and God for sustenance and guidance. God truly becomes our Rock. Matt 16:25; 24:28; Ps 71:3
