I don't know of any scripture that says Acts 2:17,18 had its end when Jerusalem was destroyed.  
Mark 9:11,12; Rev 11:1-4; Zech 4:11-14
Prophets were still to come after the destruction of Jerusalem.  

But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.  1 Cor 12:24b-26
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.  Eph 4:11-16

I've just been reading the January 2020 Study Watchtower. (Hard copy mag', not online) In particular Study No 5.
Now my previous comment I wrote 3 hours ago on another topic, before I'd even seen this Study article. And what is this Study article about ?
It's about the Anointed and WE WILL GO WITH YOU PEOPLE. 
The 10 men and the Jew. It shows that the 'Jew' are the anointed and the ten men are people that want to serve God properly, with an earthly hope..
However in para' 2 it says 'However they do not view the anointed as their leaders, realising that Jesus fills the role of Leader'   Keep that in mind.
In para 7, we find this hint once again basically telling Anointed ones not to meet together  and not to have Bible discussions together. Saying the congregation would not be united if anointed ones 'did those things'.  It also makes a very harsh statement, that the anointed 'would be working against the holy spirit' if they were to do those things. 
However in para' 8 it tells us about the bible, saying ".but it does not tell us that we can make any human our leader" Remember this too. 
Para' 10 says " we will never follow others, even those who are anointed or well known or those that have served Jehovah for a long time.  Remember all this.
Because you should also remember that the GB have said "Jehovah and Jesus trust us (GB) so you should trust us" 
Para' 12 once again uses the idea of some of the 'anointed' being mentally ill, 
BUT para 15 is the big one. Quote " Not all who have the hope of living in heaven are part of 'the faithful and discreet slave'  
It uses the excuse that 'Just as in the first century, Jehovah and Jesus today are using a few brothers to feed, or teach, many. Only a few anointed Christians in the first century were used to write the Christian Greek Scriptures ". 
What it completely fails to mention is that there were relatively few anointed disciples in the position of being with Christ at the time and therefore having the knowledge to write those things.
It also fails to note that Paul was more of an 'outsider', not one of the twelve, but Paul was used to write the letters to the congregations. 
Para 15 goes on to say that " Today only a few anointed Christians have the responsibility to give God's people 'food at the proper time' ".
That paragraph 15 is so tiny and slyly slipped in there. It's right at the end of the article deliberately to play on the minds of congregants. It has no scriptural backing at all. 
So the Study article starts off by saying exactly as I have said about the 10 men clinging to the robe of a Jew. It recognises the JEW as being the Anointed.
It recognises the earthly class as Saying "We want to go with you, for we have heard that God is with you people"
BUT then it ends the article by saying that only those 8 men are the F&DS. 
Hypocrisy of the highest order. No scripture in the whole Bible says those 8 men are the F&DS. And no scripture says who the F&DS are. The Governing Body of CCJW have given themselves that title and are still pushing this full tilt on the congregation. 
The scripture in Acts 2, from verse 14 where Peter implies that they are living in the last days, states that, from v 17,
‘“And in the last days,” God says, “I will pour out some of my spirit on every sort of flesh, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy and your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams,l 18  and even on my male slaves and on my female slaves I will pour out some of my spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.
This scripture mentions women as well as men prophesying. It mentions young and old seeing visions and dreaming dreams. BUT it doesn't mention just 8 men that 'study together' (which they don't want other anointed doing)  being the only ones to prophesy.

Rev.16:13 helps us to know where the false prophet got the spirit that is in its mouth, which authorizes the WT "elder" to condemn those refusing to idolize the organization they represent. It reads; "Then I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming from the dragon’s mouth, from the mouth of the false prophet, and from the mouth of the beast".   Satan's empowerment of this Cult, is repeated in many scriptures (2 Thess 2:3-12; Rev 9:1-3), as well as the effect it has on God's people (Matt 24:24,25; Rev 13:7,10; Col 2:8). It is amazing how many details of prophecy are being fulfilled, among them (and us), today.   "If any of you has a grievance against another, how dare he go to law before the unrighteous instead of before the saints! Out of curiosity, I did a bit of research and came across someone’s description of the Bible’s use of frogs in Rev 16:13. (Rev 16:12-14)   But firstly, the demonic expressions coming from the mouth of the dragon, the Beast from the Sea and the false prophet/Beast from the Earth as “frogs”, indicates a gradual shift from what was truth, to a full-fledged lie. This can be related to the life cycle of a frog beginning as an egg, transforming into a tadpole and finishing off as a completely different looking creature. This change can be expressed in doctrinal adjustments called “new light”, throughout the organization’s history. I’m still running across subtle changes evident in the organization’s literature, that for most JWs go undetected, over their gradual development into a complete lie.   Yet, there are other characteristics of a frog to be considered.   They are cold-blooded. This is produced by the false prophet, that in the long run, only sustains the growth of the idol and those who spearhead its development - the false prophet/Harlot and the Beast she rides. (Rev 8:10,11;13:1,4,7,8,11,16,17; 17:15)    Just as a frog’s old skin disappears, the majority of the younger JWs today are not aware of the old teachings, but only the new progressive format and doctrine. They ‘buy’ into it, with their dedication, service and material goods that sustains the idol/Beast from the Sea. It seems the circumstances that prompts disfellowshipped JWs to return to the organization are usually after suffering severe hardships from one’s life choices, or the longing to return to family and friends. It could also be the loss of status and recognition no longer received on the outside. Often, it is a combination of all these reasons.   As I listened to a short clip of a circuit overseer’s account relating his choice and experience upon leaving the organization when young, it was apparent that he left for selfish reasons; and, he returned for selfish reasons. There was no awakening to the organization’s falsehoods and hypocrisy, no seeking truth through Jesus Christ, but purely his motivation was to experience the world of drugs and immorality, which brought him to the brink of collapse. This was not the difficult road to finding truth that many experience when leaving the WT, but an alternative fork in Satan’s deceptive world, leading to hardship. (Matt 5:10,11; 7:14)    Before doing this, he had been a regular pioneer, a title that comes with status, and was supported fully by his family through his development process of becoming a baptized JW. He stated his return came with discipline through guidance of ‘loving’ elders. He mentioned that this discipline ‘molded and trained’ him…to accomplish what? As he said; ultimately, he received “privileges and service” that he would never have imagined.   I thought of the frequent use of the word, ‘privilege’ found in the magazines. Just quickly searching for it on the JW website, brought up 3,891 hits. I tend to bristle at the organization’s use of this word, since it relays a sense of superiority, from the elite leadership, down to its members. (Matt 20:26,27; 23:12; Phil 2:3,4)  The apostles and anointed throughout time, suffered affliction repeatedly, while under service to God and their Master. (Acts 7:57-70; 1 Cor 4:11-13; 2 Cor 11:23-29; 1 Pet 4:12; Heb 10:32; 2 Tim 3:12)   The peace and love they experienced was amidst those conditions, which is completely contrary to this man’s experience. Likewise, those who leave this Beast/organization and its “false prophet” to serve the Father whole-souled, suffer persecution from their own spiritual and fleshly family members. Jesus predicted that any who obey his teachings and follow him, would expect such treatment from their own people. (Luke 10:25-28; Matt 5:10,11;10:38; John 15:18; Luke 21:12; John 16:2; Heb 13:13; 2 Tim 3:12; Rev 13:15) 
The type of privileges and service the overseer and thousands like him enjoy, is not related to serving God; but related to serving men and their disciplinary rules necessary to run an earthly organization – a religious idol. (Rom 1:25; Rev 13:1,2,4,11,12,16,17)    The English word, “privilege” can be defined as “a special right, advantage, or immunity granted or available only to a particular person or group.” Contrast that with the Bible’s use of the word, “charis” (Rom 12:6) which many translations do define as “privilege”; yet, its primary application is “graciousness…especially the divine influence upon the heart and its reflection in the life; including gratitude”. Basically, it is the gift of divine favor, grace and its benefit. Through the anointed Body of Christ, these gifts of the Spirit benefit all believers in Christ. (1 Cor 12:4-7; 1 Cor 4:1; 2 Cor 5:20; Eph 4:29)    Who bestowed the “privilege” of bearing the title of elder and circuit overseer on this man? God? Although it is said that Holy Spirit plays a hand in deciding who becomes an elder, they are appointed through a system of recommendations by a body of elders and circuit overseers. On the other hand, an anointing by God, which is an appointment of service under Christ, involves no other person but the individual receiving the outpouring of Holy Spirit. (John 15:16; Rom 5:5; 8:16,28; 1 John 2:27; Gal 1:11,12) While this appointment by the Father is both subtly attacked and ignored in the organization, man’s choice of who are to shepherd, is heightened and honored. (Jer 23:1,2)    The circuit overseer calls elders “trained spiritual doctors”. (Jer 8:11) This type of verbiage is just what JWs willingly respond to. I’ve heard many members fully defend the elder body, while giving little notice to the anointed in their congregations, whose spiritual “molding” and training is to be received directly from God and their Head, Jesus Christ. (2 Cor 4:7; Eph 2:10; Phil 2:13; Heb 13:20,21)    Yet, the majority of God’s called ones, also defend the power and privilege of those who rule over them. The “divine influence on the heart” of an anointed one is the receiving of God’s laws as His priest. No JW can see this with their spiritual perception, let alone with their literal eyes; thus, these laws lay unheeded in the anointed heart. An anointed one is not sought after to teach the people. (Mal 2:7; 1 Pet 2:5,9; Heb 8:10) JWs see the training of elders through regulations and protocol outlined by the organization, which takes precedence over the laws of God fulfilled in Christ. (Matt 5:17-20; Mark 7:7,8; Col 2:20,21; Eph 4:14; Gal 1:11,12) This is exactly what Satan desires them to see. (2 Thes 2:3,4,9-12; Rev 13:1-4)    "When Jesus describes which of his slaves are rewarded in the life to come, he portrays them...
NOT as men who have already honored themselves or one another....
but as men that wait for Jesus himself to judge and honor them...when he returns.

  Now I must tell you, that although Jesus taught us to lower ourselves and not to accept glorifying titles.....

They may not use the title "Reverend", but they do use the titles of "elder", "overseer", Pioneer", etc.
all of which bestow undeserved honor. To learn FROM THE BIBLE who deserves to be called an "older man" and "overseer", is to realize that those who carry these titles, do so without scriptural backing. They may believe that they fulfill the scriptural qualifications (1Tim.3:1-9) for these titles, but they believe so in their ignorance. They do not dig deep enough into the Bible, to see who these "overseers" really are (1Pet.5:2; Deut.15:10; Isa.65:22).  The word "pioneer" or "governing body" is not in the Bible (Gal.1:15,16,17,11,12; Mark10:42,43), nor their designations, nor their positions (Matt.6:1,2,3,4). Pearl Doxsey, "Accepting Titles"   The man in the video said he “poured his heart out to Jehovah” in prayer, wanting to return to him. In truth, his return was to the same spiritually corrupt religious system he had left; this time to rise in rank as an integral element in the “trampling” of God’s Temple priesthood, resulting in truth of God’s Word in Christ, being cast “to the ground”. (Dan 8:10-12;Matt 24:15; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 9:3-5; 13:5-7; 11:1,2)  This is also due to God’s priests, bending their backs to those who bear titles approved by men. (Ezek 44:6-9; Mal 2:8,9; Jer 3:12; Hos 14:1,2;Isa 51:1,7; Jer 1:19; 23; 1 Cor 7:23; Gal 1:10)      Jer 8:4-13 - “Say to them, ‘This is what the Lord says: “‘When people fall down, do they not get up?
When someone turns away, do they not return?
5 Why then have these people turned away?
Why does Jerusalem always turn away?
They cling to deceit;
they refuse to return.

but they do not say what is right.

I think @JW Insider  said that the so called signs were actually just the opposite. They are things not to get excited about, because it gives false hope. 
And as I've said before Jesus warned against those looking for 'signs'. Looking for physical signs is showing a physical viewpoint not a spiritual viewpoint. 
Surely there are many things to happen between now and the Judgement.

You're telling me that Revelation will change the meaning of "saints" from the anointed, to all JWs, to accommodate the lie of a thousand years of "peace" and judgment that will happen after Armageddon.  Do you realize how confusing this teaching can be?  Each day of your peace in paradise is a day of judgment.  And, you will also be judged at the end of the thousand years.  Besides that, you are being judged NOW as worthy to enter this new judgment period.  I am beginning to sound like Stephen Lett (the last of the last of last days...)

The initial invitation to the WT teachings seems as sweet as honey, until one wakes up to its charades, which is a bitter experience.

Point 1. God does not need telling HE already knows. My prayers to God ask HIM to bring forth a clean people for HIM to use. 
God used the Nation of Israel for a couple of reasons. The main reason was to being forth Jesus Christ. 
But as I've said before, and of course I'm ignored for it, people were BORN INTO the Nation of Israel so they did NOT CHOSE to be Iraelites. Hence it was not voluntary.  Do you not understand that ?
And therefore do you not understand the big difference ?  JW's volunteer TO BE JWs. It is a personal choice, a choice which Israelites did not have. 
There is no comparison between the Nation of Israel  and the CCJW in that way. 
But one thing, the Nation of Israel got punished for disobeying God. They got punished for offering their children in the fire. They got punished for worshipping false gods. 
So if you really think the CCJW is God's chosen organisation, and if you really think it compares to the Nation of Israel, then I suggest to you that you get ready for the CCJW to be punished by God.

It can be so for new and coming generations of JW members ( younger in age and who are not so long time in organization). Older members try/tried to cope with issue and found few methods how to deal with wrong faith doctrine.

Don't JWs believe they "returned" to God?  As a JW, I believed God would protect all JWs during the physical translations of the signs of the end in Matt 24.  Obviously, this is what other JWs believe today, as they die from the very "sign" that was to come upon unbelievers in the world.  
Isa 30:15 ENDS by saying..."But you were unwilling".
Men and their organization make false promises, that are beginning to confuse their listeners.  Hopefully, this will be a wake-up call for many.
