This Is Definitely The Most Powerful Picture Of The Week

In the same week that Donald Trump became President of the US (to the despair of women around the world), this powerful image was much needed.

Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, was recently in the UAE as part of a Middle Eastern tour, where her and Prince Charles spent three days visiting Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

The British royals were here to promote religious tolerance and support women in leadership, among other things – but nothing sums it up better than this picture, released on Wednesday by Clarence House.

During her visit, Camilla was accompanied by an all-female protection squad, the palace revealed.

In the image, the royal is flanked by four Emiratis, each donning the traditional hijab and abaya as they guarded Camilla leaving the capital’s Emirates Palace Hotel.

The image, which currently has more than 3,000 likes on Instagram, has attracted much praise, with commenters expressing their appreciation of the enpowering act.

The women that made up the bodyguard team were Shaima al Kaabi, Basima al Kaabi, Hannan al Hatawi (behind the Duchess), Nisreen al Hamawi and Salama al Remeithi, who are all aged between 29 and 30, according to the Daily Mail.

The British newspaper reported that Camilla was “delighted by the decision to assign her a female team while she is travelling in the Gulf”.

The women were handpicked from the UAE’s presidential guard, which counts more than 50 females among its ranks, and all are highly skilled in martial arts and combat techniques.

And they’re not just excellent bodyguards – three of them are intrepid adventurers, as Clarence House revealed Shaima, Nisreen and Hannan conquered Mount Everest in a gruelling trek earlier this year.

Along with husband, the heir apparent Prince Charles, the Duchess visited Dubai’s International Humanitarian City, where the royals were shown around by HRH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein.

While in Dubai, Camilla also paid a visit to the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, which is the first licensed non-profit shelter in the UAE for victims of domestic violence, child abuse and human trafficking, as well as a visit to the Al Jalila Specialty Hospital.

While at the hospital, the Duchess signed a partnership with Princess Haya between Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, UK and Al Jalila.

Camilla, who described the facility as “brilliant”, shared a giggle with Princess Haya as the two signed the agreement.

The royal couple also visited Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, where they slipped off their shoes – and the Duchess donned a sky-blue hijab – as they toured the holy building along with some top UAE officials.

    • In 1971 I fasted for 90 days and lost 100 pounds … a pound a day … with the IBWH, “I’m broke, and what the hell” diet. The first week was uncomfortable. Not recommended if you are over 40 years old, or are not chubby to start with. I did drink a lot of water.
    • In real life “Maria” is probably really someone that looks a lot like Danny DiVito with a skin rash.

    • Maria followed me on Twitter one fine day and she was drop-dead gorgeous. No, I did not follow her back for that reason. Trust me on this: drop dead gorgeous women throw themselves at me all the time; it is a great nuisance because all I want to do is think about God. In fact, I didn’t follow her back at all, not even for the reassuring profile photo she displayed, consisting solely of “Jehovah” in gold-embossed letters. However, I did scroll her timeline and found a suitable place to leave a comment. She soon replied that she had just texted me. Sorry, I told her, I don’t do DM. I stay on the public side of Twitter. “Why?” she wanted to know. “Because if I do so I am immersed in dozens of private chats and I can’t keep up,” said I. She responded that, in that case, I could contact her on WhatsApp. I didn’t reply to that one. Next thing you know she has disappeared and all her notifications with her! I searched out her username: “Account suspended for violation of Twitter rules.” Hmm. I searched for the name on Facebook. It links to a certain bit-coin trader, also drop-dead gorgeous. No, Maria, my dear, I have all the bit-coin I need, thank you very much—even though you are drop-dead gorgeous, even though your profile does say ‘Jehovah’ so I know you are one of us, probably belonging to the congregation right next door. I’ve no doubt she has a separate profile that says Jesus, another that says Buddha, Dagon, Moroni, Baal, and a dozen others.  It is called ‘Affinity Fraud,’ winning someone’s confidence through feigned common roots. It factors into the making of E.T—The Sequel, a movie you may not have seen. In the original, cute, adorable, toddler E.T. charms all who are pure enough to let him into their hearts. But in E.T.—the Sequel, he returns as a surly teenager. He curses, spits, brawls, swears, and in the end destroys the earth with his white-hot power beam, starting with Wall Street.  Steven Spielberg, the movie’s creator, had just lost an ever-loving fortune to the Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme. Both were Jews. Virtually all of Madoff’s victims were Jews. It was affinity fraud. Not that Maria’s scheme is a fraud, necessarily, but her means of contact certainly was. She’s probably not even drop-dead gorgeous. She’s probably an old hen. And even if she is not, so what? Is not Mrs. Harley also drop-dead gorgeous?

"Let us hold firmly the public declaration of our hope without wavering, for the one who promised is faithful.  And let us consider one another so as to incite to love and fine works,  not forsaking our meeting together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as you see the day drawing near."
      Love you, dear ones! 💖🥰

      "Grace" means "undeserved kindness".

"For we all received from his fullness, even undeserved kindness upon undeserved kindness."

"Speak to one another with psalms, praises to God, and spiritual songs, singing and accompanying yourselves with music in your hearts to Jehovah,  always giving thanks to our God and Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

As you reflect on the blessings (superabundant blessings beyond all we could ask or conceive!) made possible by Jesus' precious blood this Memorial, may you continue to rejoice in the undeserved kindnesses of our beautiful Creator and Friend, Jehovah! Praise Jehovah💖☺️
