Instagram user dmitryloki posted video footage of a special black Tesla Model 3 ‘0007’ Release Candidate that has a new sensor fixed to the passenger side rear roof. The video shows the sensor with wires strung across the roof to the driver’s side of the vehicle with what looks to be an airflow sensor hanging out from the top. The specially numbered Release Candidate was spotted on the freeway in San Jose, California, just south of the Tesla Fremont factory in the greater Bay Area. Number 007 carries special meaning for CEO Elon Musk who loves the James Bond franchise so much that he bought the underwater Lotus Submarine prop used in the 70’s James Bond classic “The Sp…

Elon Musk has confirmed via Twitter that SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy vehicle may be ready to launch from Cape Canaveral as early as September. All three Falcon Heavy cores will reportedly be at the Cape in two to three months, with Musk stating that the Heavy’s launch will occur one month after all three cores are present. The main bottleneck for Falcon Heavy’s inaugural launch is the readiness of pads to launch it. SpaceX is currently focused intensely on pushing through the launch manifest backlog created by the Amos-6 loss in September of last year. Teams are working hard to reactivate Launch Complex 40, which was severely damaged in the static fire anomaly. …

Attempting to get her new business off the ground, Anna worked in public services by day and as a startup founder during every other minute she could spare. She was feeling isolated by the extreme schedule and neglectful of her friends and family — typical of startup life — when she learned of her sister’s suicide. It would be the Twitter message, accidentally ignored for a month, that would send Anna reeling. The note asked that they get together. “I miss you,” it read. Anna finally saw it just days after her sister’s death. Grief doesn’t just come with sadness and loss. Grief can also come fully-loaded with guilt, anger, uncertainty, denial, regret, and so much mor…

Despite Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s penchant to seemingly never stop working, as he aims to help humanity from self destructing the planet and stay one step ahead of AI armageddon, the billionaire tech entrepreneur is known to be quite a jokester, not to mention a killer party planner. In a flurry of tweets sent by Musk early Thursday afternoon, he offered a glimpse of his softer side by revealing yet another hilarious Tesla Easter Egg. “In the US, you can ask your Tesla to play any Monty Python (or other comedy) skit. Doesn’t work outside US yet.” said Musk through his tweet. By holding down the voice command button on the steering wheel, Model S and Model X …

Tesla is going toe-to-toe with the state of Michigan over the state’s “Anti-Tesla” bill, now law, that prevents the company from selling directly to car buyers in the state. The lawsuit is also against Michigan’s Secretary of State Ruth Johnson and Attorney General Bill Schuette. According to news outlet mlive.com, Tesla wants records ranging from internal communications to phone logs regarding the bill from Hune, who has received contributions from the Michigan Automobile Dealers Associatio…

Alex Knoll, the brains and passion behind the Ability App, has taken several giant steps toward realizing his dream this week. Thursday, the 12-year-old entrepreneur appeared in-person on the Ellen DeGeneres show. He explained his concept of a free, mobile app that people will be able to download and use to find and rate places for 'disability friendliness' and dozens of accessibility features. A big barrier for Alex had been funding. But Ellen stood up on her show and wrote out a check to Alex for $25,000!!! Her team also connected him to a group that will help put the app together. Last summer, Alex and his mom joined Deb Wolfer and I to perform an A4A r…

As reported by Reuters, the U.S. Air Force Secretary Heather Wilson revealed that the Air Force has awarded a contract for the launch of their X-37B space plane to SpaceX, with a launch date no earlier than August of 2017. The United Launch Alliance, a cooperative space transportation company composed of Lockheed Martin and Boeing, has historically launched each of the previous four OTV missions. The X-37B, also known as the Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV) is a highly secretive space plane that has been operated by the Air Force since 2010. Originally developed by Boeing under a NASA contract, the two known X-37B vehicles have flown four flights since they began orbi…

Epidemiological studies show that children who grow up in households with dogs have a lower risk for developing autoimmune illnesses like asthma and allergies. CreditDebra Bardowicks/Getty Images Scientists are paying increasing attention to the “indoor microbiome,” the billions of bacteria, viruses and fungi that we share our homes and offices with. But not all those micro-organisms are bad for us, experts note. And exposure to a rich array of indoor germs may actually be salutary, helping stave off a variety of illnesses. So there is growing concern that, in our anxiety to banish bacteria from our indoor world, we have become too clean for our own good. We run…

Owners of right-hand drive Tesla Model X vehicles will receive an over-the-air software update this weekend that addresses an issue related to the passenger airbag. The Silicon Valley electric car maker said in an email statement sent to affected customers that an “anomaly” was detected during routine testing. “Although we’re not aware of a single customer car that has had an issue with it, there was an anomaly with the passenger airbag in a right-hand-drive Model X that was part of a routine internal test this week. After reviewing the results of this test, we were able to isolate the anomaly to the software controlling the passenger airbags in right-hand-drive Mode…

The verdict was 9-3 today as Elon Musk’s SpaceX was cleared of a technician’s $6 million wrongful termination suit, according to LexisNexis’ Law360 website. Jason Blasdell, a former avionics technician, alleged that he was wrongfully fired for alerting management to falsified rocket-part testing data. Jurors deliberated for a little less than three hours before finding that Blasdell’s discharge was not substantially motivated by his reporting of a “reasonably-based suspicion of a violation of a law,” thereby leading to the case’s dismissal. According to California Labor Law News, court documents say that he initially received positive performance reviews wh…

Hi guys. I don't know where to post this, but the Lord has been laying it on my heart for the past few days to tell people about Jesus. This burden is so strong that I have felt sick and very desperate to reach out to others and tell them about Jesus. I asked my Pastor if there were any ministries I could do through my church to serve God, but all he said to me was that if there was anything, he'd let me know. God has been driving me to serve Him so bad that I don't think I can wait much longer for an answer from my Pastor, I am desperate here and I don't think he understands just how urgent it is to witness to the lost. People are dying and going to Hell. That is no l…
