  1. Could they be considered gnostics?

*** w05 1/15 p. 15 par. 21 Christ—The Focus of Prophecy ***Only his faithful anointed disciples would discern his royal presence. In the next article, we will see how that insight would have a profound effect on them, culminating in the gathering of millions who would become Jesus’ earthly subjects

*** ip-2 chap. 15 p. 228 par. 23 The Barren Woman Rejoices ***23 Verse 13 of Isaiah chapter 54 provides the key—all will be “taught by Jehovah.” Jesus himself applied the words of this verse to his anointed followers. (John 6:45) The prophet Daniel foretold that during this “time of the end,” the anointed would be blessed with an abundance of true knowledge and spiritual insight. (Daniel 12:3, 4) Such insight has enabled them to spearhead the greatest educational campaign in history, spreading divine teaching in all the earth. (Matthew 24:14) At the same time, such insight has helped them to see the difference between true religion and false. Isaiah 54:12 mentions “boundaries of delightsome stones.” Since 1919, Jehovah has given the anointed an ever clearer understanding of the boundaries—the lines of spiritual demarcation—setting them apart from false religion and ungodly elements of the world. (Ezekiel 44:23; John 17:14; James 1:27) They are thus set apart as God’s own people.

*** w00 5/15 p. 11 par. 6 Pay Attention to God’s Prophetic Word for Our Day ***6 In this time of the end, many faithful Christians have ‘roved about’ in the pages of God’s Word, the Bible. The result? With Jehovah’s blessing on their efforts, true knowledge has become abundant. For instance, anointed Witnesses of Jehovah have been blessed with insight, enabling them to understand that Jesus Christ became heavenly King in the year 1914.

*** km 3/00 p. 8 par. 4 Studying Daniel’s Prophecy ***4 Prepare well for the study each week, and enjoy participating in it. Appreciate your privilege of associating with Jehovah’s visible organization and benefiting from the insight and understanding provided by his faithful anointed ones.

*** dp chap. 17 p. 292 par. 11 Identifying True Worshipers in the Time of the End ***: “The ones having insight will shine like the brightness of the expanse; and those who are bringing the many to righteousness, like the stars to time indefinite, even forever.” Who are “the ones having insight” today? Again, the evidence points to the same “holy ones of the Supreme One.” After all, who but the faithful anointed remnant had the insight to discern that Michael, the Great Prince, began standing as King in 1914?

*** dp chap. 18 p. 309 par. 7 Jehovah Promises Daniel a Wonderful Reward ***In our own day, the anointed have been blessed with spiritual insight, shining as beacons of truth in this bedarkened world.

*** w98 2/15 p. 19 par. 7 Glorious Freedom Soon for the Children of God ***Meanwhile, God granted his anointed servants, born-again Christians, noteworthy insight.

*** w87 7/1 p. 23 par. 10 Divine Blessings for “the Ones Having Insight” *** “The ones having insight” are clearly the faithful remaining members of the anointed Christian congregation, who are ‘filled with accurate knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual comprehension.

*** w81 3/1 p. 26 Do You Appreciate the “Faithful and Discreet Slave”? ***This indicates that the congregation of Christ’s anointed disciples, those having insight, would be watching for the Master’s return and be found faithfully providing spiritual food at the proper time when he returned.

*** w70 11/15 p. 690 par. 22 The Need to Know What We Worship ***The anointed remnant of “people who are knowing their God” have been the ones that have prevailed, and this due to having insight.

*** w60 2/1 p. 90 par. 37 Part 31—“Your Will Be Done on Earth” ***They act with insight and keep walking in their integrity or blamelessness toward God. Realizing their being anointed with Jehovah’s spirit to preach, they do preach, that they may “impart understanding to many.”

I thought I'd just repeat this for anyone that thinks they are 'showing love' to others be taking that drug.

The vaccine does not protect anyone, does not stop a person catching, carrying, passing on, the virus, so it proves to be just an experiment on people .

Many older folk here in England are dying even after having the vaccine.

To be honest, I got it out of a bit of selfish motive...I just wanted to add to the percentage of people that got it so they would start opening up social activities again.

I take it no one has really changed that much? Did anything different instead, just say JW this and that? Same topics, etc? lol

But seriously, has anyone ever changed or did something so far? Did something positive? No barking, but biting wise?

Yep more of the same blah blah blah, I jump on once in a while to see if there are any topics following up on, but it's the same ole same ole. However one of the jw's who used to come here has been arrested and charged with pedophilia, possessing child porn apparently.

That comment about a fellow brother shows you have a real problem with ego….and a great need to be right……can you prove he did that…..or could that come under a false accusation against a fellow brother……Personally I don’t think anyone knows and you need to stop chasing this and be a little bit humble and stop shoving your thoughts down everyone’s throats…Whoever  did it could see it was causing disruptions and unnecessarily contentions and debating proving fruitless……and none of it promoting peace  amongst brothers….you do well to perhaps give some credit to whomever did it and stop your self promotion of your belief.

I couldn’t care less about dates…..so give it a rest …no honest hearted true brother would do what you are doing to prove your personal point…you are relentless in your crusade…

you are one big red flag to me!!!!

you are like a a broken record and I for one no longer even read your ramblings and copy and pastes….

Weak minded thinking would be a better title for you.

Yes. The plan to demolish earth to make way for the new intergalactic highway has been on the books for 10,000 years. There has been plenty of time to speak out against it, and if you can’t be bothered to participate in civil affairs, its a little too late to be unsporting about it at the last minute.

Was that before or after How to Cook Humans cookbook came out?

  6. The question makes me think of Carl Sagan's Contact, if you haven't read it I recommend it, or at least I liked it and the movie adaptation as well.

Sagan brings up this subject in a way. There will be groups of Christians who will think the visitors are satan and his demons, (although I've never seen a picture of a demon shaped like a flying object). Then there will be the new age Christians who will think they are angelic messengers. Then there will be other Christians like me who will wait until we have contact and find out about their intentions.

But as a side question...if their intentions are to subjugate the human race or want our planet, will it be biblically wrong to defend ourselves via the war machine?

I have been, um, doggedly pursuing the answers to some questions, and I think I know the answers, but in the tradition of beating irrelevant trivia that really has no practical value to death, in fact, to a thin puree, I thought it might be a good idea to get some other peoples thoughts.

    It's about Cain, Able, and the Land of Exile. (Genesis 4:*}

1.) When Cain was banished to the Land of Exile, who was it already there that he was GREATLY afraid would kill him?

2.) Was it an existing Land of Exile that he was banished to, or did it BECOME a Land of Exile after his arrival?

3.) Apparently Cain was afraid that wherever he roamed, there would be someone there to kill him, so was the Land of Exile like, say, the next County over, or did it extend all the way to, say Asia?

    4. How does one man and one woman  immediately start building a City? (I would think a grass thatched single shelter would have been more appropriate, without tools.)

5.) Were the inhabitants of the Land of Exile inclined to kill Cain only, or anybody that inhabited Eden?

6.) And of course, the "standard" question .... Where did Cain get his wife?

Those questions are as hard to answer as what kind of fruit was on the forbidden tree?

There is a vampire cult who believe they have the words of Cain and his biography and how he became the first vampire....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Book_of_Nod

  9.  20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.”

21 You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.

This organization is already guilty of being false prophets, dude, your continuing the tradition of prophecying.

On the other hand, upon resurrection, if it should turn out that God has really done this, perhaps she could thank him for having given her a heads-up in advance so she wouldn’t be one of those who went down.

And if it should turn out that he hasn’t done this, that there are more survivors than she envisioned, where’s the beef?

”Destruction of the wicked” has been a Bible theme from the moment pen was put to parchment. All but the most liberal of churches have it to some degree. Many put it far worse that JWs do, by preaching that God would torment the wicked FOREVER in hell, as payback for just A FEW DECADES of wrongdoing. Doesn’t your church believe something like that?

    1. We don't believe in the Dante's version of hell like jw's do.

    2. We believe people choose to go there, God doesn't send them there.

In a private conversation with four of his disciples, Jesus answers their question of what sign to look for about his second presence stating, "for those days will be days of a tribulation such as has not occurred from the beginning of the creation that God created until that time, and will not occur again." (Mark 13:19) The disciples did not discern Jesus' answer in quoting the Hebrew Scriptures from Daniel 12:1 about his return in Kingdom Glory. This Prince of Peace would stand up to Satan in a glorified state as King while he goes subduing in the midst of his enemies. (Psalm 110:2)

"During that time {Jesus Christ} will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of your people. And there will occur a time of distress such as has not occurred since there came to be a nation until that time. And during that time your people will escape, everyone who is found written down in the book. And many of those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up, some to everlasting life and others to reproach and to everlasting contempt." (Daniel 12:1-2) "So he has become better than the angels to the extent that he has inherited a name more excellent than theirs." (Hebrews 1:4) Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life;" (John 11:25) "For just as the days of Noah were, so the Presence of the Son of man will be." (Matthew 24:37)

A synopsis of this article: Christ Return is a process that takes place over a specific time period. Like other prophecies, the fulfillment of them are 'timed events' and there is a Beginning and an End to them. The Beginning of Christ's Return doesn't begin with sunshine and rainbows but rather a gloomy and distressful forecast. It comes about in three phases. It's a Spiritual Process, that is why Jesus gave a Composite Sign of his Return in answer to four of his disciples.

Don't forget the 4th phase, the overlapping one.

This is a good point from both sides. My wife and I love to be together, but apart from everyone else. We just like our time together, just the two of us. We never did like meetings, too may people, too much noise. We are not ones for going to mass gatherings. Attending assemblies, especially when the five children were young, was horrid.  So maybe we wouldn't enjoy the 'paradise' so much :) .   Unless we were given a small plot of land away from 'the madding crowd'.  But then some folks on here tell me I won't get the chance anyway..................

Yeah, waking up to 140 billion other people would be quite shocking, but at least there would be a lot more hands to clean up all 7 billion or so dead bodied and destroyed cities, which still doesn't sound appealing.

It's quite funny to read here JWs are disagreeing with each other over many things.  Well those who say they are JWs anyway. They even disagree with each other over the history of their own religion.  Carry on folks it's good for a laugh.

Yes you can see the lovely union they boast to have:)
