  1. True, that's why you should keep your mouth shut to things you don't understand. Mainly human behavior and scripture.
  2. I guess your stupidity is yours! Remember what that animal commented to thinking. I know a black heart when I see one. Try NOT to defend a D'fd freak! Madam JW, lol!!
  3. It was more like an animal wishing me dead! I don't see the humor in wanting to kill one of God's creation, even out of being an obtuse, ExJW. But, I guess, that's how dinosaurs became carnivores, and the reason why God tasked Adam to tame the animal kingdom in the garden. They lost all control!
  4. I see Alanf @xero has come back! You have free rein in this apostate site. Giddy up Donkey!!
  5. Yes! @JW Insider won nothing, or did he. With uneducated students of the bible, you could be right! But twisting literature, as he usually does to spin his logic, is still meaningless. So, to bible scholars, it becomes nonsensical drivel, just like freaky mutts. What I don't get, when ExJWs do it, it becomes an argument for you fakers of the truth. I don't mean that obtuse mutt, his D'fd, but everyone else. Well, I came back just to prove the threat made by that vicious mutt wrong about surgery, dying and knowing about it. Continue fooling the public.
  6. Yet, you still fail to see what the professor was attempting to discern by your meaningless example of two different issues, symbolic times lines, and generational limits. One can overlap while the other runs without restrains. Aside from learning scripture, take a course on human nature of probabilities.
  7. Since the society quoted Professor Robert Wohl in Watchtower articles, then it seems simple enough to conclude the generation that has experienced the most, would be a generation that could be compared to Christ theology. One cannot define a generation with limits, just as it is not possible to conclude one world would end and another begin. It appears, there is a lack of understanding in the book I posted for reference, or there is a deliberate attempt to subvert its context. Nothing new for this forum. *** w95 11/1 p. 18 par. 7 A Time to Keep Awake *** 7 In line with the above, professor of history Robert Wohl wrote in his book The Generation of 1914: “A historical generation is not defined by its chronological limits . . . It is not a zone of dates.” But he pointed out that World War I created “an overwhelming sense of rupture with the past,” and he added: “Those who lived through the war could never rid themselves of the belief that one world had ended and another begun in August 1914.” How true that is! It focuses on the crux of the matter. “This generation” of mankind since 1914 has experienced appalling changes. It has seen the earth drenched with the blood of millions. Warfare, genocide, terrorism, crime, and lawlessness have erupted worldwide. Famine, disease, and immorality have stalked our globe. Jesus prophesied: “You also, when you [his disciples] see these things occurring, know that the kingdom of God is near. Truly I say to you, This generation will by no means pass away until all things occur.”—Luke 21:31, 32. Robert Wohl - The Generation of 1914 (1979) But one thing does seem clear: The front taught an unforgettable lesson in generationalism to those who came to know it. For those risking their lives at the front were in great majority young, and those directing the war from the rear and providing reasons for the slaughter tended to be older. Hence the dichotomy of young versus old was invested with a new and powerful emotional charge and became a synonym for the distinction between the victims of the front and the heartless warmongers and profiteers of the rear. 29 Not that the war gave birth to the idea of a "new generation." That notion was a product of the decade before 1914 and a reflection of the atmosphere of novelty created by technological change, shifts in the structure of society, the threat of a general European war, and the appearance of a new culture. But the war did fortify and diffuse the consciousness of a new generation and gave plausibility to the idea of its unity by creating an overwhelming sense of rupture with the past. Those who lived through the war could never rid themselves of the belief that one world had ended and another begun in August 1914. And part of the appeal of the front derived precisely from the feeling that it was there amid the fire and flame that the new world was coming into being. P.222 Mentre began by distinguishing carefully between familial and social generations and between coevality and simple contemporaneity. Social generations, he pointed out, cannot be identified with the succession of fathers, sons, and grandsons in the family because new familial generations are being born every day. The movement of population is continuous and uninterrupted. Nor should social generations be defined in terms of all people coexisting in society at any given time, as the lexicographer Emile Littre had done in his authoritative dictionary. Indeed, the whole point about social generations and the reason for the utility of the concept was that contemporaries could be broken up into different age-groups. The division of society into age-groups occurred because the mass of active and productive adults changed totally and regularly every thirty years. With this change in personnel came a change in sensibility. Inspired by Taine and the historian Fustel de Coulange, Mentre insisted that history should study the development of human sentiments and beliefs. Thus he rejected the idea that social generations were determined by the course of political development, the breakthroughs of science, the innovations of technology, the insights of philosophy, or the history of educational systems. Asocial generation was the product of a spiritual transformation, "a quiet labor of minds that gives birth to a new ideal of human activity." This spiritual transformation took place regularly within the minds and hearts of adolescents and young men. Intellectuallife developed through the principle of opposition; and this opposition derived ultimately from the struggle between fathers and their sons. Obeying the obscure yet inexorable law that sets children against their parents, the members of the younger generation revolted against the teaching of their elders and forged out of their experience a new system of values, a new hierarchy of ends, and a new gallery of models. Generation thus could be defined only "in terms of beliefs and desires, in psychological and moral terms." A social generation was not a means of dividing time, but a "spiritual unity." It was "a new way of feeling and understanding life," "an original spiritual milieu," "a collective state of mind incarnated in a human group that lasts a certain period of time. " Pp.19-20
  8. @Pudgy made a claim. More of wishing me dead, scenario. I mentioned I would reply after my resurrection to undermine his obtuse assertion. No surgery, I’m still here. Since this forum was formed so @TrueTomHarley and a few others could use it as a research center to study apostate opinions, then, the only ones exalting the GB are ExJWs and those current fake witnesses here. To the rest of the Brotherhood, the GB are fellow servants in Christ, just like the Elders. They deserve our respect because of the double work they do. Now, in many respects, @Witness understanding is misplaced because of her insistence of making it her mission to disprove what the GB are doing is wrong, because she believes what they are doing is against bible principle while she is doing the same thing with scripture. Then It becomes a matter about interpretation. However, only one can be right. Those that pervert scripture to gain their own understanding, are allowing the devil do his work through them. Essentially becoming false prophets. Thus far, as of April 05, 2022, I have yet to see the Watchtower not understand and apply scripture as intended by its context as a Bible Scholar. There’s only one way to view scripture. That is with wisdom, knowledge, and time. Something everyone here has failed to see because they are too busy causing strife by answering insignificant questions by ExJWs that shouldn’t be done to begin with. If witnesses understood better, they’d notice, they are poisoning their own well, by being active here. This poisoning of one's mind is the danger Christ spoke about. There were thousands speaking against Christ and the apostles. They remained committed to their mission. They were threatened and killed because of that mission. Staying focused in being messengers of the God and the kingdom's good news takes dedication no matter where you are. This is a learning center for a selected few here. Not a forum for righteousness. The Watchtower Doesn’t need defending, nor does the truth. Consider your own spiritually while trying to convince others, of theirs. It doesn’t work. Christ didn’t bother with Satan himself, much less with Pagans if any that tried to convince him that worshiping other gods was better than Judaism and Christianity. A choice should have been made long ago, now it's time to decide. What is your True calling! *** w21 January p. 4 par. 12 Keep Calm and Trust in Jehovah *** 12 The apostles had direct evidence that Jehovah was with them. He had given them the power to perform miracles. (Acts 5:12-16; 6:8) That is not the case with us today. Even so, through his Word, Jehovah lovingly assures us that when we suffer for the sake of righteousness, he is pleased with us and his spirit is with us. (Read 1 Peter 3:14; 4:14.) When the word “gifts” is used, it’s not meant as a “supernatural” proposition. As Christians, we don’t possess the gifts the apostles and some first century anointed Christians had. However, there were others preforming miracles that weren’t assigned by God’s Holy Spirit. How does one view gifts in modern time. *** w14 2/15 p. 11 Rejoice Over the Marriage of the Lamb! *** “THEY WILL BE BROUGHT WITH REJOICING” 14 Read Psalm 45:12, 14b, 15. The prophet Zechariah foretold that in the time of the end, people of the nations would gratefully associate themselves with the remnant of spiritual Israel. He wrote: “In those days ten men out of all the languages of the nations will take hold, yes, they will take firm hold of the robe of a Jew, saying: ‘We want to go with you, for we have heard that God is with you people.’” (Zech. 8:23) At Psalm 45:12, these symbolic “ten men” are spoken of as “the daughter of Tyre” and “the wealthiest of men.” They come to the anointed remnant with gifts, ‘seeking their favor’ and spiritual help. Since 1935, millions of people have allowed the remnant to ‘bring them to righteousness.’ (Dan. 12:3) These loyal companions of the anointed Christians have purified their lives, becoming spiritual virgins. These “virgin companions” of the bride have dedicated themselves to Jehovah and have proved themselves to be faithful subjects of the Bridegroom-King. *** w10 10/1 p. 13 Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Practice Faith Healing? *** What, though, about today? Faith healers in Christendom as well as in some non-Christian religions claim to perform miraculous healings. Yet, Jesus himself sternly warned against individuals who would claim to have “performed many miracles” in his name. He would say to them: “I never knew you. Get away from me, you evildoers!” (Matthew 7:22, 23, International Standard Version) So, are the supposed miracles of modern-day faith healers really an indication of God’s approval or blessing? *** w10 10/1 p. 13 Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Practice Faith Healing? *** There is, however, a group of Christians who are united by a bond of love so strong that they refuse to harm one another—or anyone else for that matter—even during the fiercest of human conflicts. Who are they? Jehovah’s Witnesses. Worldwide, they are known for displaying Christlike love. Uniting people of diverse racial, national, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds is a miracle, so to speak, and is made possible only by God’s holy spirit. Why not attend one of their meetings and see for yourself? *** w16 January p. 19 par. 10 The Spirit Bears Witness With Our Spirit *** 10 Those who have received this special invitation from God do not need another witness from any other source. They do not need someone else to verify what has happened to them. Jehovah leaves no doubt whatsoever in their minds and hearts. The apostle John tells such anointed Christians: “You have an anointing from the holy one, and all of you have knowledge.” He further states: “As for you, the anointing that you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to be teaching you; but the anointing from him is teaching you about all things and is true and is no lie. Just as it has taught you, remain in union with him.” (1 John 2:20, 27) These ones need spiritual instruction just like everyone else. But they do not need anyone to validate their anointing. The most powerful force in the universe has given them this conviction! *** w16 January pp. 19-20 The Spirit Bears Witness With Our Spirit *** EXPERIENCING THE “NEW BIRTH” 11 When the holy spirit imparts this conviction, the Christian who is anointed undergoes tremendous changes. Jesus referred to this inner process as being “born again,” or being “born from above.” (John 3:3, 5; ftn.) He explained further: “Do not be amazed because I told you: You people must be born again. The wind blows where it wants to, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who has been born from the spirit.” (John 3:7, 8) Clearly, it is impossible to explain fully this personal calling to those who have not experienced it. *** w16 January p. 24 par. 7 “We Want to Go With You” *** 7 Although it is a wonderful privilege to have the heavenly calling, anointed Christians do not expect any special honor from others. (Eph. 1:18, 19; read Philippians 2:2, 3.) Jehovah’s spirit bore witness to them personally. No announcement was made to the world. So they are not surprised if some people do not readily believe that they have truly been anointed by holy spirit. In fact, they realize that the Scriptures advise against quickly believing someone who claims to have a special appointment from God. (Rev. 2:2) In no way, then, would they use their anointing as a “calling card” to introduce themselves to others. For the most part, they would not even mention this personal experience to others, so as to avoid drawing attention to themselves; neither would they want to boast about their future reward.—1 Cor. 1:28, 29; read 1 Corinthians 4:6-8. *** w16 January p. 24 “We Want to Go With You” *** HOW SHOULD YOU REACT? 9 How should you treat someone who partakes of the Memorial emblems? Jesus told his disciples: “All of you are brothers.” He went on to say: “Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.” (Matt. 23:8-12) Therefore, it would be wrong to exalt individuals, even if they are anointed brothers of Christ. Speaking about Christian elders, the Bible encourages us to imitate the faith of those who take the lead, but it never commands us to elevate any human as our leader. (Heb. 13:7) True, the Scriptures speak of some as being “considered worthy of double honor.” However, such ones are worthy of honor, not because they are anointed, but because they “preside in a fine way” and “work hard in speaking and teaching.” (1 Tim. 5:17) Therefore, it would be embarrassing for those with a heavenly calling if others were to give them undue praise or attention. Worse still, if they received special treatment, anointed Christians might find it difficult to remain humble. (Rom. 12:3) None of us would want to cause one of Christ’s brothers to stumble!—Luke 17:2. Now, the owner can “delete”, “ban” “remove” my account at the request of @TrueTomHarley and @JW Insider
  9. Things tend to get lost when snippets are posted. We have selected the theme be a champion of truth you may have heard of the word champion used in the context of sports. What is a champion. The word can have different meanings. What is related to the French word Shaw, meaning field. That word has its origin in the Latin word compose. Also, meaning field or battlefield. The Bible speaks of a champion on the battlefield in first Samuel chapter 17 in verse four, then a champion came out from the camps of the Philistines's names was Goliath. Goliath was a champion for a wrong cause, namely to take the lead in defeating the ancient Israelites in battle. In our modern time, according to one definition, a champion is an ardent defender or support that of a cause or another person. Christians today are ardent defenders and supporters of the truth. The watchtower of January 15, 2012 said on page 8 quote on champions of Bible truths rose up in the centuries that followed used before the watchtower said this magazine will never shrink in fear from championing the truth. The watchtower has been championing the cause of kingdom truth. So are you a champion in the sports competition. Only one individual gets to be the champion, but in the case of true Christians. All can be champions of the truth. All Christians are to defend the truth and become conquerors winners, it's necessary to defend the truth because in today's world. Truth is being attacked and distorted. We are surrounded by a CEO of lies and misrepresentations. How did such lies get started. We started in the Garden of Eden when Satan told Eve lies Satan through his deceptive statements became the father of the lie all the problems in the world all calamities. Also, your personal calamities all wars is all diseases all crimes, all unhappiness, sorrow and death started with the original lies in the Garden of Eden. Satan is the father of the life, but the daily amended children of the light. Everyone of us is affected. We are surrounded by a sea of lies that lie is a false statement deliberately presented as being true, a falsehood, lies the opposite of the truth lying involves saying something incorrect to a person who is entitled to know the truth about a matter, but there's also something that is called half-truth. The Bible tells Christians to be honest with each other. Now the judge put away deceit, speak truth wrote the apostle Paul in Ephesians 425 lies and half-truths undermine trust the German proverb says, who lies once is not believed even if you assess the truth so we need to speak openly and honestly with each other, not withholding bits of information that could change the perception in the listener or mislead him as to lies. There are different types. Some politicians have lied about matters they wanted to keep secret companies sometimes lie in advertisements regarding the products. What about the news media. Many try to report events. Truthfully, that we should not be gullible and believe everything newspapers ride or everything we hear on radio or see on television. Then there are religious lies. If Satan is called the father of the life than Babylon the great, the global empire. False religion can be called the mother of the lie individual false religions could be called daughters of the life. Some lied by saying that sinners will get tormented in hell for ever. Others lied by saying once saved always saved again. Others lied by saying that the earth will be burned up on judgment day and all good people will go to heaven. Some worship idols. Paul wrote in Romans chapter 1 and 25 they exchanged the truth of God for the lie and venerated and rendered sacred service to the creation rather than the creator. (Gerrit Losch Nov, 2016 JW.org monthly broadcasting) Transcription. Therefore, snippets tend to deprive the public about the entire truth. Then it can become a half-truth or a lie, depending on the application. Even when someone literally hears a discourse, not everyone comprehends the intent of it, such as it is done here every day.

  11. WHY ARE WE WISE IF WE DISCIPLINE OURSELVES? *** ws18 March p. 28 par. 4 “Listen to Discipline and Become Wise” *** 4 The same is true of people who come to know Jehovah when they are adults. Although they may have some self-discipline, they are not mature Christians yet. But when they start putting on “the new personality” and trying to be like Christ, they become more mature. (Ephesians 4:23, 24) Self-discipline helps us learn “to reject ungodliness and worldly desires and to live with soundness of mind and righteousness and godly devotion amid this present system of things.”—Titus 2:12. (Colossians 3:15-17) 15 Also, let the peace of the Christ rule in your hearts, for you were called to that peace in one body. And show yourselves thankful. 16 Let the word of the Christ reside in you richly in all wisdom. Keep on teaching and encouraging one another with psalms, praises to God, spiritual songs sung with gratitude, singing in your hearts to Jehovah. 17 Whatever it is that you do in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, thanking God the Father through him. (1 Corinthians 10:31-33) 31 Therefore, whether you are eating or drinking or doing anything else, do all things for God’s glory. 32 Keep from becoming causes for stumbling to Jews as well as Greeks and to the congregation of God, 33 just as I am trying to please all people in all things, not seeking my own advantage, but that of the many, so that they may be saved. (Ephesians 5:15-20) 15 So keep strict watch that how you walk is not as unwise but as wise persons, 16 making the best use of your time, because the days are wicked. 17 On this account stop being unreasonable, but keep perceiving what the will of Jehovah is. 18 Also, do not get drunk with wine, in which there is debauchery, but keep getting filled with spirit. 19 Speak to one another with psalms, praises to God, and spiritual songs, singing and accompanying yourselves with music in your hearts to Jehovah, 20 always giving thanks to our God and Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 John 3:13-20) 13 Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed over from death to life, because we love the brothers. The one who does not love remains in death. 15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has everlasting life remaining in him. 16 By this we have come to know love, because that one surrendered his life for us, and we are under obligation to surrender our lives for our brothers. 17 But whoever has the material possessions of this world and sees his brother in need and yet refuses to show him compassion, in what way does the love of God remain in him? 18 Little children, we should love, not in word or with the tongue, but in deed and truth. 19 By this we will know that we originate with the truth, and we will assure our hearts before him 20 regarding whatever our hearts may condemn us in, because God is greater than our hearts and knows all things. . . *** nwtsty Matthew 28:18-20 *** . 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.” (Joshua 24:14, 15) 14 “Therefore, fear Jehovah and serve him with integrity and faithfulness, and remove the gods that your forefathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt, and serve Jehovah. 15 Now if it seems bad to you to serve Jehovah, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve, whether the gods that your forefathers served on the other side of the River or the gods of the Amʹor·ites in whose land you are dwelling. But as for me and my household, we will serve Jehovah.” Amen!!! Laws and Customs Parshat Hachodesh On the Shabbat that falls on or before the 1st of Nissan, a special reading called "Hachodesh" (Exodus 12:1-20) is added to the regular Shabbat Torah reading. Hachodesh recounts G-d's historic communication to Moses in Egypt on the 1st of Nissan (2 weeks before the Exodus) regarding the Jewish calendar, the month of Nissan and the Passover offering.
  12. Correct, Child Maltreatment was a problem even back then. You had NUNS in the 1860s being accused of CSA. It took activists to finally bring the problem of CSA to the world by the media because of "child trafficking." The Characterization of an institution is influenced by assumptions. The problem of CSA within the Watchtower was limited. However, child maltreatment was a small problem. I think the first recorded was in 1971, and an advisory was given to the Elders on how to investigate those allegations, without stepping in the legal system's toes. When the Watchtower and Awake are printed, it's meant for everyone, especially it's members. However, as far as I can remember, It was a situation that presented itself, however rare, and it was handled by judicial committees and back then most of the time, by local police. Now, are you talking about advertising it on a local newspaper? That was left for the District Attorney, and the victim, if they wished to have their story on the front page. You seem to forget, a traumatizing event is not something a victim would like other people to be aware of. But it was left for the Victim to make it public. Back then, the congregations would give out the reason for being disfellowshipped. Now, due to privacy laws, they just mention a person is reproved or disfellowshipped with possibly limited info or none at all. This depends on how you view the transgressions. You seem to imply this was something that regularly happened. CSA was uncommon. Child Abuse, maltreatment was. Let's get that finally straight. Therefore, it was categorized as maltreatment of a child. However, some governments have had some type of privacy law that limited the amount of information that could be retained, even back then. Now, it's an obligation. However, many governments still deprive the victim by having certain laws remain in place. However, back then, the victim spoke to the local police, and then they would notify the Elders of the outcome. After, the Elders would continue with their judicial obligation to disfellowship a wrong doer. The hype comes from ExJWs that insist, people got away with thing within the Watchtower. I would like an honest ExJW come here and tell you people why that person was disfellowshipped. That nonsense about speaking against the Watchtower, is an ExJW excuse. Someone like @Pudgy
