  1. Oh dear Tom, do you really think people will fall for this ? You deliberately put it in the Open Club. In your eyes only. Because God is allowing your eyes to be blinded. No Tom, it is actually written quite calmly and sensibly. Wrong again. I mentioned a few points. One being that the GB dominate the true Anointed. And the point about military service was because you said that JW always obeyed the laws of the lands. Here you pretend to not understand what @Witness has written. So you prove yourself a liar. Then you move on to compare the GB / W/t / JW Orgs (plural) to the rest of the world. A bit like me comparing myself to a murderer or bank robber. Well I'm not as bad as they are . You are so childish in this respect, you actually expect people to fall for it.
  2. Not exactly. They are obedient when it does not conflict with God's 'rules'. But many governments give orders that people must join the military for a few years, and JWs disobey (rightly of course) and get put in prison for it. Unfortunately the GB and it's Org have earnt the title of being 'secretive'. And we know why of course. Once again, unfortunately, the GB and it's Org are also hated for doing 'bad', and we know why. Again, unfortunately, the GB and their lawyers don't endure it, they cry out that it is all lies. BUT, the GB and it's Org are not honest and in some cases not law-abiding. Certainly not living by God's true standards. This is where it becomes unfortunate. The Leaders of the many W/t, CCJW, JW Org, etc companies, have been shown to be dishonest. The CSA problems, and the handling of such, earth wide in those orgs, have given it all a bad reputation. The orgs plural now look dirty. Add to this that the Leaders (those 8 men) have gone beyond the things written, raising themselves up above every other person here on this earth, including the (true) Anointed ones. Maybe what you see as persecution is actually God through Christ, withholding Holy Spirit, from those orgs, plural. We know that God punished the Nation of Israel for wrong doing. Maybe if those orgs, including the GB, were to repent of their sins, and to turn around and serve God properly, through Christ, then maybe the Holy Spirit would guide them and protect them. What happened in Russia reminds me of what happened to Jerusalem, and we know why Jerusalem was destroyed. God, through Christ, will be served properly before that great Judgement Day arrives.
  3. UM, haven't missed much have I. I've not been here for days but having now read it all, well nothing new. The one thing I did note is that @xero is really hung up on people's mental state. @Arauna would call it OCD probably. Oh yes, and that cesar person seems to think I am @Pudgy, sorry Pudgy. I wish you all well. I am too busy selling and then buying vehicles and building sheds. The weather here in England is fabulous so making the most of it. @JW Insider seems to make it known how mixed up the GB / leaders of the JW org are concerning the owning or reading of 'other religious literature'. Best regards to @Srecko Sostar and @TrueTomHarley and @Anna Take care and be good y'all. I'll try to stay away for another few days.
  4. Good evening. I just popped in to see Billy the Kid crying as usual. Writing things that are totally wrong but it makes her feel good anyway. I can't understand how a Christian could defend an organisation for directly disobeying Jesus Christ. But then the JW Org / CCJW has continued to disobey Christ by going beyond the things written and predicting Armageddon a dozen times, and of course hiding Pedophiles in those orgs.
  5. So why doesn't the Org baptise people properly then ? In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, as Jesus gave instruction. And actually it is dedication you make to God not baptism.
  6. Exactly, you have to think of it like I do when I see the 'Victims of Child Sexual Abuse'. It doesn't matter if JW Org is 'mostly peaceful' when you or your children have been sexually abused by a JW Elder or M/S. On the whole, JW Org is a failure.
  7. It seems that Xero is running out of things to write. Well even a strong wind runs out of puff. As for the binary rubbish, well childish is too good a word. And as for apostates I presume he means the GB and helpers of the W/t. For it is they who have apostatized, turn aside from or turned against God and Christ and true scripture.
  8. Well they seem to have fallen in Russia for a start. And they are having many problems in many countries. But seriously, the scriptures tell us that the governments will turn against religions and I cannot imagine that any religious organisation will be left complete. With the org having so much info' available online I think a government hacker could easily find every Elders email address and home address. All Elders have codes to log into the 'private' parts of JW Org, so government hackers or JW Elder whistle blowers could access lots of private info. It would be so easy to blow the whole Org away. Now that is where we would find out if God through Christ was protecting that org isn't it. God either guided or allowed the Romans to destroy Jerusalem because of the sins of the Jews and the of murdering Jesus. So will God or Christ protect or destroy JW Org / CCJW / Watchtower. Time will tell
  9. I would imagine someone could create a universal JW - chatbot parsing internet posts and regurgitating responses from the respective JW phrase-bank. I think some JWs are actually chatbots. It makes sense that JWs never generate novelty since their existence is defined by the existence of those they oppose. And we know JWs oppose truth. JWs as such will cease to exist when the True Anointed remnant 'stand up' for God and Christ before Armageddon.
  10. The Watchtower and the CCJW / JW org will fall as will all false religions. But when a True Anointed remnant stand up and act, I will be ready to join them as per scripture Zechariah 8:23 Berean Study BibleThis is what the LORD of Hosts says: “In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue will tightly grasp the robe of a Jew, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’ ”
  11. The only ones that can 'sin against the Holy Spirit' are the True Anointed ones. Because they are the only ones anointed with such Holy Spirit. As I am not anointed I am also not able to sin against the Holy Spirit. If you really understood scripture you would know it is for the True Anointed ones, not for us earthly ' little dogs' Matthew 15 v 27 Berean Literal BibleAnd she said, "Yes Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs falling from their masters' table."
  12. Wow I've been missing some fun here then. But we all know the GB backed down at the last minute because they would have lost the charity status that it has.
  13. I thought I'd just repeat this for anyone that thinks they are 'showing love' to others be taking that drug. The vaccine does not protect anyone, does not stop a person catching, carrying, passing on, the virus, so it proves to be just an experiment on people . Many older folk here in England are dying even after having the vaccine.
  14. I keep reading this competitive dribble from this ex Elder. She seems to like pitching people one against the other. All this rubbish about freedom and free will. All adults should have free will. And she seems to go on about food and a person's weight. I do wonder (that is thinking out loud ) if she has a weight problem herself. Oh well, maybe she gets bored in her mum's cellar and just needs to type something, anything, just to show the world she is alive.
  15. I never know if Mr Tom is talking about CC = Billy, or me. Tom has total dislike for both of us and thinks we are both insane. But Bro Rando takes the biscuit for being deranged I think.
  16. No vaccine for me. I find it kinda funny that anyone who is Christian would allow their body to be misused volutarily. The vaccine does not protect anyone, does not stop a person catching, carrying, passing on, the virus, so it proves to be just an experiment on people rather than animals. Although Billy says we are all animals anyway. Just a bit of clarity though. I have high blood pressure, I'm 71 years old, and my own dad died of a cerebral hemorrhage, so I think i have good reasons to say no to a vaccine. Many old folk are dying after having the vaccine here in England.. J & J were found to have knowingly allowed asbestos in their brand of talcum powder, so I certainly woud not trust them with an untested vaccine. All the covid vaccines are 'not tested' because there was never enough time allowed.
  17. Well even in the 1st century there seemed to be two types on Christian. There were the ones that gave up everything and literally followed Jesus, but there were also the ones that carried on their daily lives and remained in their own homes. This second type would surely have chosen their own type of work and other activities. Not everyone is cut out to serve 100% of the time, and in the case of JWs it's serving the Org.
  18. Thanks for calling me names again. It gives me more to laugh at. But you seem to be missing the whole point of the article. You are toooooo keen to trash me. The points I took from this article was that she has been stumbled by her parent's complete obedience to an Organisation. It re-enforces what I've said before about children being forced to do field ministry. It also makes it clear that children are stumbled at a young age by the GB rules. Her concern was being domineered in every part of her life as a JW. She wasn't allowed to make her own decisions. She couldn't choose a job, couldn't go to Uni', couldn't even talk about the parts of the religion that she disagreed with. Basically she was supposed to be a puppet. A controlled zombee. And she tells it as it actually was for her, and as it is for so many others.
  19. Oh this is lovely . Basically saying "We have to continue to tell lies otherwise we loose the congregation". A core doctrine that is a deliberate lie. Oh they of little faith. Didn't it ever come to mind about Jesus saying "Unless you drink my blood and eat my flesh ...... " Shock happens, but when faith is strong then the faithful remain. Worried about being d/fed. Worrying about the 'flock' not having enough to 'fall back on'. Absolutely no faith what so ever.
  20. Yep. Seriously. Are you saying that God through Christ made the Watchtower leaders deliberately tell lies to test people's faith in ???? whom ? So what exactly were JWs to think about ALL the failures ? You are just having a laugh here. You know it was the Watchtower leaders that were just putting their own interpretation on scripture because they were not, and are not, inspired by God's Holy Spirit.
  21. What gross misuse of scripture. You are here pretending that the whole CCJW / JW Org ARE the Body of Christ by deliberately misusing scripture. That is sick in the worse possible way. You people really do not understand that the scriptures were written for the True Anointed. This means the Body of Christ, NOT the Organisation. No division in Christ's body of 144,000.
  22. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/you/article-9406081/Why-choose-family-Jehovahs-Witness.html Raised a Jehovah’s Witness, a prohibition on birthday parties was the tip of the iceberg when it came to the strict beliefs that governed every aspect of my life until I made the decision to step back from the religion a few years ago. It’s one that has cost me dearly. Some members of my family no longer speak to me, and I’m now an outsider in the only community I’ve ever known. Behind closed doors, however, our family life was very different to most people’s. As Jehovah’s Witnesses, every moment of every day was governed by the rules of the faith. And they were endless. Witnesses are Christians who believe the Bible is historically accurate and interpret much of it literally as the basis for how they live their life. They believe the end of the world is coming and only they will survive Armageddon, passing into Paradise, while everyone else is killed. Something I never enjoyed was ‘ministry’ – going with my parents every weekend from house to house, trying to convert others. Standing in the cold, while one door after another was closed in our faces, I just wanted to be at home. As I became a teenager, my outlook began to change. I started to look at my life with more mature eyes and I saw so many paths closed to me. Friends from school were planning gap years abroad but I couldn’t do that because I’d miss weekly meetings and ministry. University was also discouraged because it’s seen as an improper use of time in the last days before Armageddon. In 2015, the church was plunged into a child sex abuse scandal after an investigation in Australia revealed over 1,000 allegations had been reported to elders there since 1950 but not one passed on to the police. This didn’t surprise me, as Witnesses believe the authorities are controlled by Satan. But the idea that children had endured such horrors because members chose to protect one another made me feel sick. I don’t wish I hadn’t been raised a Witness. Like every religion, there is good and bad in it, and I did have happy times among many good people. But it’s a religion that demands all of you, that generally favours obedience over truth, and I struggled with its lack of flexibility. Ironically, being taught I was different gave me the self-belief to take a step back and put myself and my family first. I think this is a fabulous article and so true to life for many people. I don't care if she is trying to promote her book, some on this forum are doing likewise. The article is well worth a complete read. I've only quoted bits here.
  23. Matthew 28 from verse 18. Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.” Jesus was resurrected by his Father, Almighty God. That in itself proves Jesus had God's complete approval.... So you can see that when Jesus was resurrected as a spirit he was also given ALL AUTHORITY IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH. Your leaders the GB just cannot accept that Jesus received the authority immediately after his resurrection. But then your leaders the GB cannot even obey the words of Jesus about baptism either. Your GB prove to be false or dishonest anointed but still you JWs follow them
