@Thinking - Pearl was a witness and a very nice lady but now teaches demon inspired teachings…I know this for a fact…

Thinking has her wires crossed.  Pearl receives letters from JWs regularly asking questions.  People can reach her through her blog, and she also posted an email address as a source of contact.  It was with one of those methods that Thinking “talked” with Pearl, "personally", not "in person".
Thinking doesn’t know me, and she doesn’t really know Pearl either.  Primarily, she doesn't know the difference between truth and a lie.

Pudgy may have noticed that Thinking has posted a lengthy comment on the closed forum that touches on this discussion. She notes that Witness has asked her to unblock. ‘No way,’ she says. She considers Witness demon inspired and likens communicating with her to playing with the ouji board or the tarot cards.

I’ve no idea. She is in Australia and I don’t think wants to spell out further details on the web. I’m content that Witness pulled up the post that I would have pulled up had I put the time into it. I’ll concede it shows I didn’t hit a home run. More like a double.

I remember the 1st time I came to a KH w/my GF. I was an atheist at the time and this one family I didn't even know gave me the creeps. Like they all had cooties. I didn't even know who they were and hadn't been introduced and it's not like they did or said anything I can recall, but they just gave me the willies.
Later they all bailed. They were all creepy, creepy. Even the kids were creepy, like in a "we do weird sh*t at our house that no one knows about" creepy.
My thinking is that people who have some creepy demonic stuff going on with them can't handle being at a KH for long. It's like they're vampires and the holy spirit in the KH burns their skin or something.

Okay, close enough, and it saves me the trouble of searching, which I’m not sure I would have gotten around to.
The point is that it is a weird kind of writing that Witness does, with an unhealthy obsession over ‘anointing.’ She eats, sleeps, drinks, dreams, and sweats ‘anointing.’ @xero chimes in out of nowhere that it gives him the creeps. It strikes him as demonic.  He’s not the only one.
And the only thing she has more than a fleeting interest in is to malign her ‘rival’ anointed, the GB, so that you cannot avoid the feeling that she’s furious people look to them and not her.  She litters her posts with scores of scriptures that apply only in her mind, and always seems to miss the ones that actually do apply.
Dress it up anyway you will but it plays like one of those superhuman Avenger movies, with freaks doing battle on another realm, while we mere mortals on earth merely want to live our lives in peace.
She even chases away that other arch-enemy, Patiently Sitting on my Hands, and as much as he despises the earthly organization, no less than she does, you know she’s got to be creepy to do that!

The  conversation on “automatic writing” that Pearl Doxsey was accused of by @Thinking, is here:

On 7/11/2021 at 3:50 PM, Thinking said:
@Thinking - The point is…Pearl has admitted to me personally she does no Bible study…but of course we can all put confidence in Her ….hahahaha….and never know what she is goinng to write as it just flows and comes to her.
I answered:  Why don't you ask again, and tell the truth about what you hear.    We do Bible study together, we read scriptures together.    When I related your accusation that she does automatic writing - "channeling", she said:
“Writes down what is given to him?  I don’t do that.  I just hear the scriptures in my mind, look them up and give them to the readers.  Jesus said that the spirit would recall what Jesus said, and that’s what happens.  I receive no direction about what words to write.  Only scripture.  That’s what makes it laborious.  I have to explain how the scriptures fit, if that becomes necessary.  No automatic writing here.  It’s work.”

Or how about the country?  She’s in Australia, I believe.  All people who know me online, know what state I live in, at least.  Or better yet, she could stop blocking me and tell me in person how she knows me.

Relax, I’ll beat @xeroup later. I think you eat, drink, live, breathe, and perspire ‘anointed’ a little too much.

"Now in giving these instructions I do not praise you, since you come together not for the better but for the worse. 18 For first of all, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it. 19 For there must also be factions among you, that those who are approved may be recognized among you."  1 Cor 11:17-19
"For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ." Gal 1:10
"In fact, you even put up with anyone who enslaves you or exploits you or takes advantage of you or exalts himself or strikes you in the face."  2 Cor 11:2
Tell me where "organization" lies in those words?  And since the concept of an earthly organization is so important, over and above Jesus' words telling us to worship in "spirit and truth" (John 4:23,24)...
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
    “I will dwell in them
    And walk among them.
    I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”
    17 Therefore
    “Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
    And I will receive you.”
18 “I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.”  2 Cor 6:14-18
These words are specifically addressing the anointed "living stones" of God's Temple, that you have no belief in.

Tom, you don’t realize what he said.  Since he has no belief in who are the spirit-anointed “royal priesthood” that he, as an elder (past or present) “represents”, he has also slandered your GB, who profess to be anointed.
He is saying of all Christian organizations represented as “slaves” of Christ, it is the Watchtower organization that IS THE FAITHFUL AND DISCREET SLAVE.
The organization is the F&D slave, not the GB.
And he is a member of your closed group?
In Revelation, a false prophet “exercises authority” over “Satan’s organization” – the Beast from the Sea.  (Rev 1,2,11,12)
That organization “makes war” with the saints – the anointed. (Rev 13:5-7)  I can hear it in xero’s words.   That organization is represented today, by the elder body. Through his words, he has “trampled” down the anointed Temple of God - the anointed "living stones".  (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2)
When the GB/F&D slave is taken down by the organization it loves – by the elder body and any anointed left within it, (“ten kings”),  I will not be surprised if at that point the Wt. calls itself the “faithful and discreet slave”; and the "anointed" GB, is labeled the “wicked slave”.  Rev 17:12,13,15-18
Thus, the massive elder body that comprises the Wt.,  becomes the “faithful and discreet slave”.

When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.  Matt 10:2
Who is "Israel" today? Rom 9:6-8; Gal 4:26,28; 6:16
The message in the last days is to the anointed and those with them.  Rev 18:4-8; 14:6-12
Fear God and give HIM glory - not an organization that spiritual harlots have used to mislead the "elect".  (Matt 24:24,25; 1 Tim 4:1; Rev 13:11,12,4,15-17; 17:15)

That reminds me…… In New York City you’ll see people walking down the street waving their arms and yelling out into the air, with loud expositions.

Why not get two of them and tie them together, then they will appear to be talking to each other!

Um very intelligent first answer.  "Well duh"   But you fully understood my point, that JWs will not reason on things that go against the GB's interpretation.  Didn't Jesus advise us to test the things we hear ?  And wasn't it the Bereans that searched the scriptures 'to make sure things were true' ?  So i think it wise to look deeper than just believeing every word from your GB, even if they do call themsleves the F&DS.
JWs shun all ex JWs so JWs would never know if ex JWs have a love for God and Christ.
If you judge ex JWs just by 'hearsay' then it would be you at fault for judging them.

I referred to the teachings of "anointed ones in particular".
"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."  1 John 4:1
If the teachings of the GB were from God, they would remain - last - not die out.  A faithful slave of Christ would not provide a dish of food that would be found rotten within  5 years, one year, or within months.   False prophets are recognized by their inability to produce fruit that endures the test of time.
" You didn’t choose me, but I chose you. I have appointed you to go, to produce fruit that will last, and to ask the Father in my name to give you whatever you ask for."  John 15:16
Who appointed the GB as the F&D slave?  They appointed themselves, out of necessity.  They needed full control of the food produced, full control over the lives of everyone in your organization; in particular, the anointed. (Matt 24:48-51) "Food" comes from the "helpers" they have chosen - those of the elder body.  Through the restriction of the spiritual lifeline of teachings; written by those not anointed and approved by only 8 men, they have funneled down to JWs, what the scriptures call "vomit".  (Isa 28:7-10)
This is why people leave.  They are literally "fed up" with being served food that they have "bought" with their service and dedication, only to be disappointed in its rottenness.  They recognize that their spiritual health has deteriorated on a diet of vomit.   Matt 7:15-20; Rev 13:15-17

He acted out of personal concern for his daughters - which  is a good thing -  but not in the way he did it.  Because of the position he held in the congregation it brought dishonor to Jehovah's name.... because you can now use that as an example of bias behavior, which it is.
The bible does say we must not judge any person on hearsay...... so he was not correct in doing this.  But how many of us act in a perfect way when our daughter's reputation or well-being may be at stake?  He was just an imperfect father.
In the end, you did not work out to be the best guy for her....

Well yes, there are other interpretations, aren't there? Just yesterday the lady who lost her farther told me they obviously needed a electrician in heaven. And then there's the Trinity and hell fire and a host of other things.

I hit a raw nerve.  Was it the video, the mention of the Flock book, or was it the scripture?
Why do I need a closed club when I can speak here in the open?  You know, I have never added caustic adjectives to your name that I can remember.  Once out of frustration, I said you were blind, but then removed it. (although truly, you are spiritually blind - 2 Cor 4:1-6)  You love to address individuals, who cannot accept your leaders…and give you valid reasons why… with unique descriptions, in the same way your leaders address apostates as “despicable”.  I can’t imagine how colorful your language must get in your closed group.
I don’t need JWs to give meaning to my life.  But what you need, what all JWs need, is scriptural truth to give meaning to yours.

If I recall correctly, she wasn’t such a great lady. Matthew complained vehemently about an abusive upbringing. It may even be that he gets back at her by insulting the religion that he holds responsible.

Yes, I’m sure you care about your mother but you appear to care more about insulting her beliefs—and thereby her for being stupid enough to hold them. Try respecting her beliefs and stop carrying on about her being “ordered” to this or that because it is not the way she would phrase it, nor is it true.

“Thou hast escaped me! Thou has escaped me!” said Roger Chillingsworth after Arthur Dimmesdale retreated into his closed club, and his very countenance seemed to wither away, his very reason for existence blown to smithereens.
