Excellent point. When I worked in the Art Department at Bethel I first realized that "food at the proper time" for English readers was at about two months earlier than Spanish readers and between 6 and 8 months earlier than the average audience for other languages. For some of the books, the delay could be several years.

Sorry I don't care to argue with apostates who use the same type of questioning that Satan used. The "Ministry of Justice is now being influenced by Dvorkin and other anti-cultist apostates and the trial clearly showed now for the world to see that they, all anti-cultist apostates, are all liars and have baseless claims.

Ok bruce, sticking your fingers in your ears and saying "la,la,la,la I can't hear you" doesn't make facts go away.

Russell said, Beware of "organization." It is wholly unnecessary. The Bible rules will be the only rules you will need. Do not seek to bind others' consciences, and do not permit others to bind yours." Wt. 9/15/1895 pg 216
Rutherford: “Religion is a snare and a racket” 1939
Wt 1953 3/1 p. 143 “Ask yourself now, Did Christ Jesus, who set our example and told us to follow his example to gain life, join any church organization in his day? No, God does not require us to do that; but he requires us to worship him... We have the Bible to show us the right way. Certainly it is not necessary for a person to become a member of a church to gain everlasting life."
"Jehovah’s visible organization can use you, but can get along without you too. But you cannot get along without it. Fruitless ones are eventually pruned off and never missed as new ones are grafted in. Pruned-off branches soon wither and die, being cut off from the circulating, life-giving sap." Watchtower 1950 Jan 15 p.26
"Come to Jehovah's organization for salvation" - Watchtower 1981 Nov 15 p.212
WHO IS RIGHT? WHICH WATCHTOWER LEADER IS SHOWING COMMON SENSE?
Beasts need to eat; symbolic “Beasts” suck the life blood out of those who follow their hypocritical teachings. Rev chapter 13.

As my memory serves me, MAIN, PRIMAR reason for collecting money (in this or that methodology or organizational way how to do it)
IS TO HELP POOR MEMBERS OR CONGREGATIONS. Read the Bible, not old Jew type and anti-type GB illustrations.  and explanations models.
NOT to building headquarter (cathedral :))), branch Bethels, ..... but helping people to have enough for life, in flesh and spirit. Â

It's a lot EASIER to defend actual TRUTH .... wherever it is found.

Reading comprehension is NOT one of TTH's strong points.
They say "You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink".
The facts speak for themselves.

.
Why doesn't the Society translate and provide the Russian Court Transcripts for us?
Since somewhere around 5.5 million Brothers spent somewhere around 20 million hours writing letters to the officials of the Russian Federation mailing an average of somewhere around 4 letters each at an international postage rate of perhaps 80 MILLION DOLLARS, total ... why has the WTB&TS not translated FOR THE BROTHERHOOD, translations of the Russian REAL transcripts, so we will know exactly what is going on?
You would think that for 80 or so MILLION DOLLARS, some usable hard data would be forthcoming, from people that reportedly are the world's best translators !!
This affects the Brotherhood worldwide, as well as being banned in the Russian Federation .... I sure hope this is not a repeat of the Haiti Relief Fiasco, where the news was so onerous, the WTB&TS Relief efforts intertwined with the United Nations, and the Red Cross that the news of what really happened throughout the relief effort could not be published on the Society's "News" portion of the web site.
Why doesn't the Society translate and provide the Russian Court Transcripts for us?.
... and the WORLD at large!
.That is hard news EVERYBODY can use!

Thank you for posting that picture ... and the description.
So divorced from cartoon fantasy, money and church politics.
I needed that.

We can't really ask Caleb or Sophia  But we could see here posted so different Kingdom Halls...  Very small and simple congregation - rooms on little islands or very poor countries, until to the pompous, huge Bethel houses. Jehovah is there, where the clean, loving hearts waiting of him HE is judging first our hearts and motivations ! Of sure HE loves a beautiful Kingdom Hall, but just as that, HE loves a very small Kingdom room, which I posted last month ? with 2 handful of HIS people !  LOOK HERE.....
THAT WAS IN NICARAGUA - maybe only 1 elder...  and ca. 10 Brothers / Sisters   Very simple but so familar  and Jehovah's Holy Spirit is near them all  ? ? ? .•*¨`*•..¸???¸.•*¨`*•. ? ? ?

A Kingdom Hall is dedicated and purposed to be a Center of True Worship in any community !
If you don't believe me, just ask Caleb and Sophia!

James Thomas Rook Jr. reacted to Shiwiii in What does not passing the collection plate really mean anyway?
Why are you sooo bitter? You resort to personal attacks because you cannot refute the facts? The fact is, that the wt and the gb are "passing the plate", but you close your eyes and say"lalalalallalalal I can't hear you" They are modeling after those in which they denounce, but you can't accept that.
again, really?
The difference you fail to see here is Paul was inspired, the wt and gb are not................
again with the personal attacks
you've been proven wrong on this but refuse to accept it.
You know if you take a step back and look, you'll see that your personal attacks only expose your inability to refute the facts presented to you.

Shiwiii delivers his coup de grace (this time for sure!) and Witness immediately high-fives him! They are both so excited!
Both are either too stupid, too deceitful, or too blinded by hate to notice that the Watchtower's letter is exactly based on the scripture that is quoted in the same paragraph. In fact, the two are intertwined, so that they are seemingly impossible to separate save for someone with an 10-foot ax to grind with which to separate the bone from the marrow of those they cannot tolerate. Is it too harsh to say we are dealing with a couple of losers?
In fact, the Watchtower shows more consideration than Paul. Paul simply says 'I'm coming for it - have it ready!' without any detail as to what he will use it for. Why isn't there an account to keep him honest - as has been demanded repeatedly elsewhere?! The Watchtower simply says we can be instructed by Paul's letter - it doesn't twist the arm as he does - and, unlike Paul, it gives the reason for monies needed: for rent and maintenance.
Even @Witness, who knows the Bible better than anyone in the whole wide world, especially the Governing Body, and who cannot pour herself a bowl of Cheerios without citing five scriptures to justify it, misses this most obvious point in the world - collections in a congregation have full scriptural backing.
Once again,we go back to the point already stated: nobody is less intrusive about money matters than are Jehovah's Witnesses.

Beautiful Dog!
To be fair ... Green Dragons have the same reaction when they try to eat me .... not only is my flesh inedible, (much too tough!) ... but difficult to chew with a head full of bullet holes.
I have an arrangement with the Orange Dragons.
They don't try to bite me,
I don't shoot them.

There is that old proverb ... beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clear to the bone.
Usually because of the fact that if a Sister gives importance to such things, her thinking becomes more and more distorted, until it becomes a self-fufilling "prophesy".
Ever notice that over time, people and their dogs begin to look alike?
Same thing.
It is an empathetic response feedback loop.

James Thomas Rook Jr. got a reaction from Srecko Sostar in LEGAL DEVELOPMENTS | Germany Grants Highest Legal Status to Jehovah’s Witnesses
Care to make a guess whether or not the WTB&TS has "signed up"?
They confiscated a home that a Sister left to the Local Congregation I attend and SOLD IT for the money.
If you ask the German Branch office, do you think they will give you a truthful answer ? ... or send three Elders to your home ?

Please provide one "sniff and sob" comment I have ever made, complaining that "nobody understands me".
...you are PROJECTING again, TTH ....
It's amazing that projected beams of light do not come out of your eyes ... but, about that I am only guessing.
(Ever notice that dogs and their owners often begin to look alike?)

James Thomas Rook Jr. got a reaction from Srecko Sostar in LEGAL DEVELOPMENTS | Germany Grants Highest Legal Status to Jehovah’s Witnesses
In Germany, as in MANY of the European countries, you put your religious denomination on your tax filing documents, and the German Government takes out additional taxes FROM YOUR PAY, to pay your registered affiliation organization.
FREE MONEY ... and a LOT OF IT!
Many religious people list as "atheists" so as to not have their pay confiscated and forwarded.
This is certainly WORTH a 26 year legal battle ... as the money spent can be made up very quickly, and the rest is pure PROFIT for the religious organization.
It also forges an almost unbreakable bond between that religious organization, and the European Governments, as they are now surgically joined at the hip, the religious organizations promising NOT to have sex with the "Kings of the Earth", ... but hey ... things happen!
Such are the immutable lessons of civilization's history.
Primarily, the legal status they now have ... is a tax collection status.
Who needs a collection plate with a scheme like that?
" Jehovah’s Witnesses in Germany are grateful that their sincere religious activity has been recognized by the government as qualifying for public law status. They hope that such recognition will alleviate some of their past challenges and will benefit them as individuals and as a religious community. "
If you are a JW in Germany .... Check your pay-stub next payday .
