Good additional supporting scriptures.  It just doesn’t make sense,  1914, there is just too much scripture against that date being when Jesus became king.
Then that leads to the question of why would the wt insist on 1914?

wt and jws believe 1914 was the parousia of Jesus and His being enthroned king. After Jesus resurrection He made this statement" 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
If at this time when He was with the disciples after His resurrection He had all authority, what then is there for Him to acquire in 1914? Isn't "All authority" already the qualities of a king? What more authority is there to gain if He has it all?

you are adding things to His coming. When He comes, it is not in an invisible cloud, it is seen. This part of Him being in unaproachable light, sure if He stays there, but He will not, He will come and be visible just as he said.

Shiwiii got a reaction from James Thomas Rook Jr. in Here is a new Question .........
Interesting point, one in which I have also questioned concerning the jws. This semantics of word play of parousia vs coming is only used when the shoe fits whenever I have spoken to a jw. If we look at the context of Jesus' words in Matthew, we see His proclamation against the thought of invisible observance .

Matthew 24:23 Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. 26 So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Here Jesus is saying that if someone tells you "oh, He's is in the inner rooms, or somewhere else that you cannot see right now", it is a lie and for us not to believe it. This is because He told us that there WILL be false prophets who say such things.

Not to mention the whole 1914 as His parousia and being enthroned king. After Jesus resurrection He made this statement" 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Well the scripture says speak to the congregation. But if a brother or sister did speak to the congregation they would be accused of 'causing a division in the congregation'
And even when a person is disfellowshipped the reason is not given, it's kept hidden from the congregation..
Makes is soooo easy for them to disfellowship people easily for no scriptural reason.  Just the way one Elder threatened me.
There are so many scriptures that prove that the GB and it's Org do not serve God through Christ.

then show me where one must study for baptism.

this is right out of the wt playbook. So if Jesus studied, then it is a command to study for baptism?
Did Jesus own a cat when He was growing up? Does that then require us to raise cats?
no one said that we are not to study!
It just isn't a requirement for baptism.
I've already said it. re-read my posts, or rather this one and maybe you'll see my point. I doubt it though.

I am just going to answer with this. You can choose to pick it apart if you wish. Were these folks God's mouthpiece based on the criteria you claim?
Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

you keep bringing this up, but you know what? No one has mentioned it but you. Seems like you want a discussion on the topic. Do it.

This is straight up comedy.   Since you failed at expanding on the "mainstream Christianity" thing, you've had to resort to fourms and private clubs. Keep going sm, tell us about the knitting circle that won't allow cross stitch and how that ties back to your statement that Christians shun.

Yes Anna but, did the Governing Body give themselves the name 'Faithful and discreet slave' and if so what gave them the right to do so ?
And then the GB said only they, those 8 men, are that 'slave', not all of the anointed. How can they judge this ? You are saying they are not inspired and there is no direct communication from 'above'.
Plus all the things I've spoken about previously, which erk some folks, seem to make it clear that the GB are not treating the congregants in a loving way. Remember 'By their works you will know them'.
It would have probably been easier for me to stay in the Org, keep my head down, and not to think, just obey.. That is how i see JW's acting. But is that what Jehovah and Jesus Christ really truly want people to be like ? Blind obedience ?

I entirely agree with your last sentence and that is what I am hoping will happen very soon.
    Remember that the scripture says at Luke 12 v 45 & 46. :-
But if ever that slave should say in his heart, ‘My master delays coming,’n and starts to beat the male and female servants and to eat and drink and get drunk,o 46  the master of that slave will come on a day that he is not expecting him and at an hour that he does not know, and he will punish him with the greatest severity and assign him a part with the unfaithful ones.
I am hoping that the GB will be removed from the JW Org and replaced by honest hearted ones.
But your illustration concerning Jesus and his disciples brings up other issues. In that case the people could easily see who Jesus was using to help him feed the crowd. It was clearly visible to the eyes. And the food was proven to be good food too.
However, it is not so easy for anyone to see who is chosen to distribute the spiritual food at this time. And also to know if the food distributed actually is approved of by God or Jesus Christ.
Add to this that those who give themselves the title of 'Faithful and discreet slave' actually judge others of the anointed. And that the food they give is often withdrawn by them later, because it is not good food at all. It is proved to be poison.
'The important thing for "the domestics" is that the food is distributed'
Is it ? Or is it that the food is truthful and correct and that it does actually come from the Master and not men's own thinking.

If we were all inspired of God and all had the same communication with God via Jesus Christ then why would we need a 'faithful and discreet slave' to 'feed us the right food at the proper time' ?  We could all get fed directly from God via Christ.
However the GB claim to be the only ones capable of feeding us in the proper way, as they say that they (those 8 men) are the only 'Faithful and discreet slave'.
Quote : "However, we would would need to agree that the "chosen ones" would need to be living up to that choice".
Do you mean that they would need to be deserving of such true communication ?

Can't see a scriptural support for this observation.
No, in principle. However, we would would need to agree that the "chosen ones" would need to be living up to that choice.

Um, so, if all are Ministers in the JW Org, then all those that commit the crime of Child Abuse in the Org are Ministers.
So it could rightly be said that JW Ministers commit Child Abuse. Some of those ministers are JW Clergy
Child Abuse is not funny, but this forum is funny.

This is NOT true ... from the legal sources you yourself quoted earlier ... go back and read your own citations.
Your agenda has clouded your reading comprehension and perception skills.
If we lable OURSELVES Clergy, which the Society HAS DONE .... we are saddled with the law regarding Clergy
In the United States, the government cannot label your religious affiliated people "Clergy" ... separation of Church and State. They cannot even question you about ANY beliefs or labels you GIVE YOURSELVES.
It is the WTB&TS that is claiming CLERGY PRIVILEGE ... not them ( the government) assigning it, which is illegal.

If this is true TTH .... AND IT'S NOT ... Why does the WTB&TS represent themselves in court case after court case .... AS CLERGY ... in order to not have to tell the secrets they are privy to, that in the genuine public interest .... our own ... and outsiders .. there needs to be full disclosure, and reporting as a MORAL imperative ...screw getting a legal exemption, which they salivate and lust for ... crimes to the Civil Authorities?
I did not TRY to say anything other than what I did say.
AS USUAL, your agenda driven thinking caused you to deliberately misunderstand, and attempt diversion and obfuscation.
Theoretically, like us, no Catholic clergy gets a paycheck ... but like us ...  in most cases ....   they get all expenses covered, and never miss a meal, sleep cold, or dress shabbily.
I have done all three WITH a paycheck.

    15. What happens when a person gets baptized? (See also footnote.)
15 Eventually, the Bible student, having developed a love of Jehovah God and a strong faith in the ransom sacrifice, wishes to dedicate himself completely to his heavenly Father. (John 14:1) He makes that dedication in personal prayer and then gets baptized as a public symbol of that private act. His baptism is  his ordination ceremony because that is when he is recognized as a fully dedicated servant, a di·aʹko·nos, of God. He must remain separate from the world. (John 17:16; James 4:4) He has presented his whole self “a sacrifice living, holy, acceptable to God” without reserve or condition. (Romans 12:1) * He is God’s minister, imitating Christ.
