Legendary “Late Show” host David Letterman seems to be enjoying retirement — just look at the beard.

That fact was more than apparent on Saturday when he brazenly admitted that he was drunk live on the air during ESPN’s Indianapolis 500 coverage.

It was after recalling a story of his recent alcohol-fueled antics, Letterman made the candid admission.

“By the way, I’m drunk now,” Letterman said, prompting cheers from the crowd.
