Chipotle Mexican Grill, in partnership with Avocados From Mexico, is launching an online game called Guac Hunter — a digital photo hunt in which users view a series of two images that appear similar and have to spot differences before time runs out, according to a company press release.

Players are rewarded for their keen eyesight with a mobile offer good for a free order of chips and guacamole at any Chipotle in the U.S. or Canada. Users can play Guac Hunter from March 21 to March 31 while supplies last, with all offers expiring April 10, 2016.

"For many of our customers, guacamole is one of their favorite menu items, and a meal at Chipotle isn't complete without it," said Mark Crumpacker, chief creative and development officer at Chipotle. "Great guacamole begins with great avocados, and we source the best ingredients to ensure every serving of guacamole is as good as it can be. This game allows our customers to enjoy some chips and guac on us, and perhaps encourage others to give our guac a try and see what they've been missing."

Chipotle's guacamole is made from scratch throughout the day. Each batch is hand-mashed and seasoned with freshly diced red onions, jalapeno peppers, cilantro, citrus juice and salt. Each of Chipotle's 2,000-plus restaurants goes through approximately five cases of avocados a day, amounting to more than 44,000 pounds of avocados in each restaurant annually. Last year the company served more than 43 million pounds of avocados from Mexico; the company sources exclusively from Mexico in certain months to ensure the taste and quality of its guacamole is the absolute best, Crumpacker said. It also buys avocados from California, Chile and Peru based on peak growing seasons.

"Avocados From Mexico is excited to partner with Chipotle this month to celebrate our always fresh, great-tasting avocados," said Alvaro Luque, president of Avocados From Mexico. "Guacamole is the perfect complement to burritos, bowls and salads, and we are thrilled to team up with Chipotle to provide free guacamole to their customers across the country."

    • By the way, if you're into stuff like this, you might wanna check out https://thepythagoras.com/. They have some neat articles about ancient civilizations and their contributions to science and math. It’s really interesting how much we owe to these early thinkers.
    • The Dendera Zodiac is such an amazing piece of history. Imagine ancient Egyptians looking up at the same stars we do now and creating this detailed map. It's mind-blowing! So, what do I think about it? I think it's a fascinating blend of art and astronomy. Those ancient folks really knew their stuff. The way they incorporated their gods and mythologies into the constellations is just brilliant. And it's not just about the stars, it’s a glimpse into how they viewed the universe and their place in it.
    • FIFA's collaboration with Algorand represents a significant milestone for blockchain technology. Algorand will serve as the official blockchain platform for FIFA, supporting events such as the FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023 and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022. This partnership is poised to enhance FIFA's digital asset management while boosting Algorand's visibility through advertising and promotional opportunities. On another note, I've been tuning into African football recently. The match between Kanifing East FC and Latrikunda United was unexpectedly impressive. African football often goes underappreciated, yet the skill and enthusiasm in these matches are evident. We can expect even more significant development and excitement in African football with increased attention and support.
    • The partnership between FIFA and Algorand is a big step for blockchain technology. Algorand will be the official blockchain platform for FIFA, sponsoring events like the FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023 and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022. This partnership will help FIFA with digital assets and provide advertising and promotional opportunities for Algorand.
