[The Librarian]

Twice a year our local college in Porter, Texas, USA has an event called the Human Library. This is the second time our congregation has been present, due in part to our relationship with the college and our public witnessing on campus. The Human Library allows students to “check out” a living book to learn more about certain life experiences and break down stereotypes associated with different cultures and religions, including Jehovah’s Witnesses! We are so grateful to the staff and Jehovah to have had some great experiences so far. We have been able to give a wonderful witness to many students, clear misconceptions and further explain our beliefs in a relaxed and respectful environment.
