```In the past ten days or so there has been a video going round among Jehovah's Witnesses on social media. This video shows the President of the United States of America giving a speech about peace with North Korea as well as promising world peace and security. For some reason, and perhaps understandably so, some Jehovah's Witnesses have gotten excited, connecting it to the 'declaration of peace and security' which we know would signify 'the end.' Because of this reasoning this video is being circulated sometimes with a caption of 'the end is here.' Some of us have even asked to share it on Chorus forums.```

``` However, much as we all must be alert to the fulfilment of Bible prophecies, there are serious questions we need to ask ourselves about this video.```

*```Since Jehovah has entrusted the Governing Body with the responsibility to teach and warn his people, has the Governing Body commented on this speech?*```

*```Is it for us to interpret 'times and seasons' and then share our interpretation with the brotherhood? Are we taking the role of the 'faithful slave'?*``` 

*```Would sharing this video not mislead others and create speculation over a teaching that has not been confirmed by the 'faithful slave?*```

*```If there was anything to this speech, would the Governing Body fail to share with us this light through publications, meetings or jw.org?*```

```For these reasons it would be wrong to share such and it is for that reason that forum administrators have refused all the 18 requests to share this video.```

```In this age of social media may we all remain alert and mature Christians, able to  'distinguish both right and wrong` and to reject 'the voice of strangers.'```
