5 Reasons To Think Twice Before Talking About Your Breakup
by Guest Nicole- 0 replies

If you’ve been through a rough breakup, where you've been mistreated in any way—cheated on, emotionally or physically abused, having had to deal with a narcissist, psychopath, or sociopath—you probably have the urge to exorcise those demons by talking out the bad stuff. And, while venting to a close, trusted companion or a therapist can be cathartic, you need to be careful about how and with whom you do it. Here are a few things to consider: 1. Many people prefer not to take sides. I’m sure you’ve heard people say, "You just weren’t a match." That’s what they say when they don’t want to take sides or get involved. Even your best friends might say this, especial…

David King talked about his book The Trial of Adolf Hitler: The Beer Hall Putsch and the Rise of Nazi Germany, in which he recounts Adolf Hitler’s trial for high treason in February, 1924, which followed his involvement in an attempted coup, the “Beer Hall Putsch,” four months prior. In his book, the author reports that Hitler used the trial to promote his political ideologies and received the longest sentence of the ten defendants. He served nine months in prison, where he spent his time writing Mein Kampf.

Ask any Tesla Model 3 reservation holder and they’ll probably tell you how beautiful their future vehicle will be — the sleek exterior, the space-age console and display screen, the unique door handles. But as the Model 3 release party nears, there’s something far less sexy on the docket, albeit still of the utmost importance: car insurance. Tesla’s VP of Global Investor Relations Jeff Evanson said in February that Tesla will be looking to provide a seamless, all-in-one insurance policy for drivers. Tesla currently offers this option to Model S and X drivers in Asia. “We’ve been doing it quietly, but in Asia in particular where we started this, now the majority…

A new video posted by a Kawazaki Ninja sport bike owner under the YouTube channel BreakingMoto reveals yet another run-in with a Tesla Model S. Having learned the hard way just 1-year prior that Tesla always wins, the sport bike owner engages in a seemingly random street battle against another Tesla for a second chance at victory. This time, the biker is back with a larger and tuned 1000cc 2010 ZX10R, upgraded from a race-ready 2008 ZX6R that proved useless when it came to out drag racing a previous generation “Classic” Model S with nose cone. However, there’s just one problem. Their choice encounter with the Tesla this time around proved to be with a Ludicrous-enabl…

Just one tap on your phone could summon a Tesla right to your house as you enjoy your morning coffee. Not a morning person? Don’t worry about needing to make small talk with your driver—this car is driving itself. Take your coffee with you, hop in, and travel in comfort and style wherever you want to go. All that, and your trip costs less than a bus ticket. That is the future according to Elon Musk with his proposed autonomous ride-sharing “Tesla Network.” Of course, questions of insurance, liability, and use all depend on states giving permission to Tesla and others to use widespread self-driving technology first. Only a few states have any semblance of laws guiding…

Tesla’s Senior Vice President of Engineering Doug Field was recently spotted at the Fremont factory driving off in a gorgeous midnight silver Model 3 with serial number 003. However, it isn’t the sighting of Tesla’s third production Model 3, likely belonging to Field himself, that people are talking about – the first Model 3 off the production line was gifted to CEO Elon Musk – rather it’s the sighting of a Tesla-branded “key card”, leading keen-eyed observers to question whether Tesla will forego their ubiquitous key fob in favor of a simple card. Field, a VP at Apple prior to joining Tesla, can be heard commenting about Tesla’s customer base in a new video posted t…

bpod-mrc: Growing Nerves Our nervous system is made up of the brain, spinal cord and neurons [nerves] – an intricate network that allows our brain to communicate with the rest of our body. Development of the human nervous system begins when an embryo is in its 5th week. Neurons extend a projection from their cell body called the axon (pictured in green, pink and blue in a developing mouse spinal cord) along a specific path in response to a variety of molecular cues, systematically guiding its journey to the spinal cord (left) and eventually the wider body, establishing the nervous system. One particular molecular cue called netrin1 organises axon growth, but research…
