I exercise a lot. I go for two hour walks, and this morning it seems I managed 137 steps per minute, speed walking, although i was only waking for 90 minutes this morning.  I also have a 'chin up bar' in the doorway between my 'office room' and the kitchen. I have a sit up bar which is permanently 'hooked' under the door. I can manage 50 sit ups on a good day, 40 on a bad day. And i have a stepper for exercise if it's raining too hard to walk outside. I love exercise for many reasons, but it makes me hungry, and another enjoyment of mine is eating.  I love fruit of many kinds, and veg. I do think about God and offer thanks for all the wonderful different kinds of food that we have to eat. (Lunch break takes me an hour, I never rush food).  I'm thinking, seriously, of learning Ballet. I was attending dance classes previously at a fabulous Studio, doing Jazz and 'street' dance, and also 'Musical theatre', but my brain wasn't quick enough to fit all the movements together. I'm physically fit enough, but my brain just doesn't seem to coordinate (is that the right word) the movements. I'm hoping Ballet will be slower and easier to learn.  At 70 years old I'm not ready to just sit in my rocking chair and sleep. I am still receiving the 'study editions' of the Watchtower but admit to not reading them often, and my Bible reading has lapsed. I drive a 'very unusual' old car which gives me great pleasure but would get disapproval from the Org, and probably gets disapproval from my neighbours too. (I don't tend to talk to my neighbours as it's not the way my wife and i want to live. We much prefer our own privacy)  I do find that older people are so boring in that they seem to think there is an age limit on everything. The old idea of, 'You can't wear that you are too old'. or, 'You can't drive a car like that at your age'....  My feeling is that Almighty God has a good sense of humour, and that he does not disapprove of so much.

    Ilove it!

  2. I thought I would open up  light hearted conversation, what do you do for fun? Myself I enjoy teaching Kids at my church, Krav Maga self defense course, playing some games on my PlayStation, and watching movies on the big screen, (although that isn't going to happen any time soon).

  3. He conveniently leaves out the fact that current shut down laws would not allow them to hold a convention. So the real reason is not out of love, but out of respect for law, which is commendable, too bad he had to lie about it which isn't so commendable.

They are also piggy backing off of free software that was invented by a worldly church, that has been doing video worship services for years now.

  4. Maybe he'll start his own unified jw splinter group like these:

The following is a list of splinter groups from the Watchtower Society. So much for unity! How many do you recognize?

Bible Studies Fellowship, headquarters in San Diego, Ca.
Bible Way Publications, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.
Christian Millennial Fellowship, Hartford, Conn. Publishes the New Creation magazine.
    Christian Renewal Ministry, Saratoga, Ca.
Church of God of Abraham, Wenatchee, Wa. Publishes Notes for Bible Students newsletter
Dawn Bible Students, East Rutherford, N.J. One of the original splinter groups formed after Joseph Rutherford became president of
    the Watchtower Society
Fort Worth Bible Students, Ft. Worth, Tx. Republishes older W.T. Society literature
Laodicean Home Missionary, John Krewson, Ft. Myers, Fl.
Laymen's Home Missionary Movement, Raymond Jolly, Chester Springs, Pa. Publishes the Bible Standard and Herald of Christ's
Kingdom newsletter. {In turn, a splinter group came out of this group: Epiphany Bible Students Association, Mount Dora, Fl.
    Publishes a newsletter under the group's name}
    Pastoral Bible Institute, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

There is a group under Hayiland Davis, Albany, N.Y. I'm not sure of the name.

In Africa there is a group that originated in the 1920s called Kitawala Movement.

If anyone knows of other groups, please feel free to include them.

When news media receive their news from secondhand accounts rather than investigating a substance on their own? It just becomes unsubstantiated news propaganda to appease former members of the Watchtower. A ploy that Trump uses to satisfy his base. 😏

I really look forward to your unbiased news sources...with source's of course.

4Jah2me is a former Jehovah's Witness, he has made this clear time and time again despite some of this points being questionable. Granted he is Non-Trinitarian with no affiliation to Jehovah's Witnesses, does not negate him to be one, regardless if he agrees/disagrees with whatever Jehovah's Witnesses profess - for all persons differ from each other, as is with experience. As predicted, Trinitarians deem those who do not believe in 3 Gods as the same, for the reality is, JW or not, they can see your folly, even the Muslims can see your folly, the very reason Trinitarians do not go to speaker's corner in the UK as they use to.

You say this is a tactic, yet as I recall, you did the same thing (with falsehood), for WE can prove that Jesus is the Son of God. In your case: You defended paganism several times, as is with you defended several verses deem both a forgery and false, let alone your favor of a pastor who has put himself in this world as an inspired prophet, when in reality, as I told 4Jah2me, the last of the inspired ones died with the last Apostles, not even their students were inspired, but rather, like Christians then and now, are spirit led ones. You committed yourself to being prideful of your church over others due to the actions they take, when Christian are free willing offerers and or givers (every read the passage of the Widow's Mite). The list goes on, so if you want to state "tactic" we can simply bring you up if need be.

Granted you jumped into the fray, can you point out as to anything Srecko, 4Jah2me, or I myself are in the wrong for? What is confusing?

Do you find Simon Peter's statement confusing when he said what he said at Pentecost 33 A.D. (Acts 2:24, 36)? I wonder what makes Peter's sermon confusing to Jew and Gentile Christians when he, as Paul also stated, that Jesus returned to life by means of God, who he himself, raised Jesus from the dead? How is it confusing to the fact an anointer anointed someone (God making Jesus the Christ)?

The spotlight is on you and the Deserter. So far, as can be seen and most likely unfounded, both you cannot prove what Shiwii and CoS has failed to do - the notion of the Christ being Firstborn out of the Dead, which in of itself, like Pentecost, can defend the narrative you attempt to spin.

That being said, you make want to check your history. Early Christians were fine, never believed in the Triune or got their math wrong to think 3 means 1, granted the below that predates the Trinity itself, they seem to thing otherwise, and this is just a small portion, mind you.

The Trinity came long afterwards near and or around the 4th century, you have Creeds, True Christendom never had Creeds, we simply had a few commands and commandments to follow, for as followers of Christ. Nowhere in Scripture does it even state believe Jesus is God or be sentenced to enteral hellfire by God (who mind you, punished 2 Kings for reacting Fire Torment of children, for God in this situation reacted emotionally).

To deem something as wrong, when there is ample evidence speaks volumes. No way to disprove it if you ignore Strong's and roots, marginal referecnes and context.

"You say this is a tactic, yet as I recall, you did the same thing (with falsehood), for WE can prove that Jesus is the Son of God. Do what you good little jw's like to do, quote people out of context....

Ah, so you cannot address any of the BIBLE verses i gave?

So you are now running away.

Unfortunately, this is how Jehovah's Witnesses act, even though the gentleman insist he is not a jw, this type of behavior speaks otherwise. At least he didn't totally change the subject, which is another tactic they use when their understanding of a subject is confusing to them.

Granted I speak in regards of what the Bible says, regarding JWs, as is with what happen during the days of Jews and Gentiles - God knows who is for him.

Even in the past, the leaders of these church congregations are not perfect, some of them are mistaken driven, and they learn as they go, and apply, yet despite all that, they still continue to act and or partake in the role of The Faithful Servant. This can be said of the Restorationist, the connection is there, so there would not be as much to faze them, hence the mindset and or how the Jehovah's Witnesses operate as is with their Christology and the like.

I am curios as to why you do not wish to associate yourself with the jw's, but would rather stick with the unitarian way? You can message your answer if you'd like.

  9. This is a sincere question, and not just aimed at the folks here, but all jw's who have a dissenting view of the governing body and organization.

What will you do now that you have realized Jehovah God is not backing this governing body and thus the organization. Are you going to just sit idly by and continue to do what the governing body tells you to do, or comes up with more unbiblical doctrine? If that would be the case, you are still a partaker in the governing bodies sins by not denouncing their actions and continuing to go along with their flow.

If Armageddon starts tomorrow and the governing body do not make it through it and into the new system, what about those who continue to follow them?

The thing is, the Bible seems to talk about religion being wiped out before Armageddon.

And we must remember that the GB say that 'We are in the final part of the final days'

So why would the American President suddenly be fighting for international religious freedom ?

i suppose it is to get more votes and to be 'liked' by more people, but this would appear to put backward the destruction of all religion.

And when do you trust what the gb says, you have a clear opinion on them.

Presidents have to tackle many issue's, they can't do them all in one day. Maybe the Russia/jw UN involvement has been on his mind and with all on his plate he's finally gotten around to addressing religious freedom.

Perhaps a possible explanation for the Franz / Furuli similarities is that both situations, the time of Franz and the present, share the same problems.

I see a tension, an opposite force, between wanting to have a united, harmonious organization and allowing greater freedom of conscience and thought. Both extremes I think are bad.

Can you imagine going to a congregation that believes in the trinity, or in hell fire?

At the other extreme, it is a shame it is troublesome to wear a beard, not to wear a tie and that sort of thing.

Wait!!! Jehovah's don't believe in the trinity of the GB, Jesus and Jehovah?

    Just kidding:)

Not anytime soon. Hence, they will most likely commit to their activities within the confines of their homes and or if any of who they minster to allows them to visit.

The end is not here yet, so the gospel is still ongoing, for Jesus spoke about the Commission.

Not sure if you caught my reply, but my church has already opened its' doors for services yesterday. They never really stopped as they continued to provide charity through all this lockdown mess. And even with the lockdown, we still continued to minister.
