In many halls the very library itself can no longer be found. So there are no older books, just a shelf for current (but used) Bibles and Songbooks that folks left accidentally. But it's true that the out of print books are not banned. Just harder to find, such as Aid to Bible Understanding and Commentary on the Letter of James. But if it were not well known which writer wrote a specific book, and it usually isn't, then there was no need to remove those books. The need to replace the Aid book with Insight began in a hurry after R.Franz became known as the head writer, through his own admission in Crisis of Conscience, but most the entries are still exactly verbatim what was in the Aid book. But they still haven't replaced "Choosing the Best Way of Life" and it's still available on the Watchtower Library CD, and wol.jw.org.
There are books that make us cringe, and those who ask specific questions about anything prior to 1970 will probably be looked at as if they are losing faith in the organization. Don't try to ask if anyone knows of anything still good in the Finished Mystery book, for example.
There is still a lot of good information in some of the books and magazines prior to 1970, but most anything useful has been repeated, or updated/corrected in more recent books and magazines. Also, I have some memos I was going to share here once that showed that in assigning topics, the head of Writing had a kind of rule that every topic would be revisited before 20 years were up. So if a topic hadn't been touched in a while, you might at least see it updated, for example, in 1939, 1958, 1977 (and 1996, 2015 if they still kept the "policy" going).
A couple of big changes that make a lot of books up to even 2000 obsolete is the fact that we no longer make a prophecy out of parables and narrative portions of the Bible. This doesn't make the good counsel obsolete, but usually it means that this counsel now applies to everybody, not just a specific class. (i.e., Shulammite class, Haman class, Esther class, Elijah class, Elisha class, Ruth class, Naomi class, Jehu class, Jezebel class, Jeremiah class, Jonadab class, Samaritan class, Prodigal Son's Brother's class, etc.)

No, if it was any other organisation it would be seen as begging for money. It would be seen as cheesy and praying on young children. 
But JW's HAVE to support everything their bosses tell them to. Keep worshipping your GB Tom.  
As for relief of ‘spiritual hunger’ that is super funny, because the GB cannot even get 'spiritual food' right. Remember Tom your GB ARE NOT inspired and they tend to ERR (tell lies). 
Remember those books that we all used to study and believe, that are now not even spoken about because the GB feel shame about even allowing them to be studied. Those books that are now banned. And those magazines from the past that are now so embarrassing to the GB and it's Org. Well those are the type of things that you and others want children to give their money for. Take money from your children and spend it on writing fairy tales and LIES. 
Tom, your GB do not know the truth. They do not write the truth. They guess and tell lies. They make it up as they go along. Do you really want children to contribute to that ? It is bad enough that those children have to go to meetings and listen to it.

This is a reference to a Caleb and Sophia video which would be seen as praiseworthy were it for any other cause.
If Sophia had had an epiphany and donated her ice cream money to the ‘world hunger fund,’ or the ‘world peace fund,’ or the ‘save the planet fund’ or the ‘animal rescue fund’ or almost any charitable fund, the video would be lauded. It represents training a child that not everything is about her, and that used to be seen as a good thing.
It is only because the malcontents here despise the Witness organization dedicated to the relief of ‘spiritual hunger’ that this video is so attacked. Were it for anything else, it would be lauded.

As for religious hate speech, one only has to say that Islam is false religion, and that is regarded as hate speech. 
By stopping people expressing their thoughts and feelings all you are doing is building up a time bomb. You know that volcanos 'bubble up' a lot before erupting. Now what would happen if you capped the volcano to stop is bubbling up ?  You'd get no warning but suddenly one big explosion. People need freedom of expression. It's a release of pressure and tension.

Does this mean how such JW person will/ have to preach what GB told him to preach contrary to his Understanding?? Because if so, his trumpet not giving clear sound to people around. In other words, such sound is clear only in the ears of GB but not clear in the ear of particular JW and  "unbeliever". Also, in that circumstances, JW person who is not convinced in such doctrine, spreading "false truth" that  is against his own conscience.  
Or, in some particular examples we have JW members who NOT Preaching (all sort of preaching, inside and outside congregation) that questionable doctrines and instructions. So much about Unity and Harmony of WT Society if members are not happy with some doctrines. :))

An interesting statistic that I have heard from SEVERAL sources, known to be reputable ... but admittedly I have NOT looked it up myself.
1.) African American,  (Blacks, Negros, "People of Color", or whatever is politically correct nowadays ... and I have lost track), comprise 14% of the population of the United States ... but commit 84% of the crimes, and imprisonments.

Stating something factual granted by sources such as, let's say a second time, The FBI, another being Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention sources, and the like, all within the United States does adds to claim of the statement being true, for among all races, the demographics shows clarity of sex crimes being committed mostly by whom.
But in the end, as for everyone to see, it seems you consider the FBI racist, and the Child Abuse Prevention sources,  also racist with that depraved mindset of yours.
That being said, the need for you to even utter that just shows how absolutely triggered you are because of something stated that is 100% true regarding you.
Well of course, I was born as such, I do not toot a horn loudly because of it. Quoting a source that speaks of 80% of sexual crimes being down by Caucasian/white males is merely statistics regarding race, for not too long ago when we discussed demographics of church adherents, you yourself brought up race and sex. So why is it this time you are banging your head on the roof regarding such? Evidently attempting to recover after being exposed, it seems.
That being said, all statistically demographics mentioned, the age, race, sex, place of dwelling, etc, depending on what is there and what the onlooker is trying to look for, an example would be an educational institution, is it high in rank or low? how is the education? How many Hispanic/white/black/Asian/native students? And so forth. This same demographic is projected with sex crimes, even that of child abuse and the sex and or race of the abuser in certain areas, namely in question, the US. As far as I know, you do not even live in the US, granted the findings were solely in the US alone.
And your point? Even with recorded information people can twist the narrative, i.e. information exposed to said child so they realize what is happening to them.
I do not see you using Tom's logic because Tom is intelligent even to know what racism means, referring to a demographic that filters everything by race from highest to lowest concerning sex crimes does not make someone racist, as you claim, which further thickens the plot to your, dare I say, stupidity and ignorance in this regard.

I take my faith seriously, so anything that will hinder it, I avoid.
I know the point regarding rape and sex crimes in the US and other parts of the world, but I do not listen to content with explicit in order to gain said message.

I find this rather odd coming from a man who, not only mocked a blood relative of a teenager (judged him when you [Butler] said you do not judge without knowing), but attempt to mock him by means of what he has experienced and used Ebonics in a form of mockery against said teenager.  Even before that you made a comment about one's in the feeling of inferiority because of said color of person's skin when the person merely made a remark of specific ethnic groups adhere to Scripture.

Truly, that statement of mine is indeed true, 100%, (I paraphrased it from the information we have available to us regarding such). The majority of pedophiles who commit child abuse, the majority are Caucasian/White Males (Heterosexuals), majority of them being fathers, uncles, brothers, etc. What I did not mention, purposely, is this is the case also with persons who identified themselves as gay (Homosexuals), who, again, majority being Caucasian/White Males who are the very ones in the high mark who commit said crimes of child abuse.

80% is indeed a big number on Non-Hispanic Caucasian/White Males regarding pedophilia and forcible rape, child abuse in conjunction with one another, for even that of a father and or uncle in the US who commits such. Hispanics, Blacks, and other groups fall behind in this regard.

I do spend a lot of time thinking about what is right and what is wrong, and I do think that God wants each of us to use our own conscience to make our own decisions.
Yes of course our conscience should be based on God's word, using Bible principles and examples given by Jesus Christ. But it should be our conscience that we rely on, not the dictatorship of MEN. 
The JW Org's leaders have made so many rules that a baptised JW person cannot use their own conscience. JW's are programmed to accept all the rules dictated by the GB.  Programmed in such a way that every JW knows that if they deliberately use their own conscience and it takes them on a different course to GB 'laws' then that JW is liable to be disfellowshipped. 
A JW is not always disfellowshipped for breaking God's 'laws', but on occasions a JW is disfellowshipped for breaking the 'laws' of the GB. Hence a JW could have a good conscience and use Bible principles, but still get disfellowshipped. 
So, are the GB going beyond the things written by taking away a person's conscience and replacing it by too many rules or laws ? 

They are outlines at the assemblies and conventions, but they are so tightly packed that it is barely possible to deviate or ramble. Most convention talks these days are but 10 minutes in length, and that often includes a video.
Public talks at the Kingdom Hall are 30 minutes in length. The aim is to follow the outline supplied, but there is more room for expounding, illustrating, personalization, etc.
Mess up a Kingdom Hall talk and you may live to do another one. Mess up an assembly talk and you are not likely to be assigned another.

As far as I know, there are strict outlines that are closely adhered to, and from my experience of conventions, the same talks by different brothers sound pretty much alike. Not word for word of course, otherwise it wouldn't be an outline but a script. But the likely hood of them sounding completely different is unlikely. That is not to say some elder couldn't slip in his own ideas, something he maybe feels passionately about.  Especially at a KH.  This happens very rarely now though, and especially not at conventions. I remember one elder years ago, had something against Teenage Ninja Turtles, and counseled parents in his talk about how it was not appropriate for a Christian to allow their children to play with those toys. You know that was NOT in the outline. Nevertheless, there were parents that made their kids throw away all their treasured Ninja Turtles.... talk about imposing your own conscience on others! This is one reason why the outlines now have become very specific, and have to be strictly followed, so that this kind of thing does not happen.
