I don't know exactly who chose who. But Russell chose Jehovah instead of a Trinity. So the WT organization has dedicated themselves not only to Jesus as most of the churches, but to the only true God Jehovah. So Jehovah must have been glad for that. But apostle Paul expressed surely God's view on preachers of Jesus who did that not with sincere hearts. That that was better than nothing. So churches who promote faith in Jesus and spread Bibles are and have been useful for God in some extent also. They do not represent Babylon the Great. But all claiming to be christians will be judged according to their deeds. But I would not start to associate with trinitarians or anyone that does not want to understand the truth. But it does not harm that they at least spread some bible knowledge. Even Islam has spread knowledge about biblical events and biblical persons. So maybe it was better that they conquered some parts of the world that if they had not.

Why does the Bible say that the judgement begins with the house of God? Or that the symbolic levites in Malachi have to be cleaned or that there has to arrive a time of persecution from the King of the North to cause a cleansing and whitening? Obviously that is because of serious things that are unrighteous that they are involved in. 1Peter 4:17 For it is the appointed time for the judgment to start with the house of God.+ Now if it starts first with us,+ what will the outcome be for those who are not obedient to the good news of God? Malachi 3:2 “But who will endure the day of his coming, and who will be able to stand when he appears? For he will be like the fire of a refiner and like the lye*+ of laundrymen. 3 And he will sit as a refiner and cleanser of silver+ and will cleanse the sons of Leʹvi; and he will clarify* them like gold and like silver, and they will certainly become to Jehovah people presenting a gift offering in righteousness. Daniel 11: 33 And those having insight+ among the people will impart understanding to the many. And they will be made to stumble by sword and by flame, by captivity and by plundering, for some days. 34 But when they are made to stumble, they will be given a little help; and many will join with them by means of smooth speech.* 35 And some of those having insight will be made to stumble, in order to do a refining work because of them and to do a cleansing and a whitening+until the time of the end; because it is yet for the time appointed.

@Bible Speaks It is a good thing to be maellable in God's hands instead of being stiff-necked as the Isrealites were. And as long as the elders really give advise strictly according to the scripture it is good to listen to their advice. But unfortunately a whole lot of their advices based on the WT and elders' letters are commandments of men and WT org traditions and falsely applied scriptures. The same old things happens as when Jesus was on earth. Those who were responsible of the spiritual education in Israel and those who served at God's temple had gone astray in many aspects. And when Jesus tried to correct them, majority of them refused to be corrected. So how will it be this time when the judgement will begin with the house of God as apostle Peter wrote? Hopefully a majority will not refuse to be corrected. But who knows?

Billy, you wrote that you understand my argument in a post above. So what is your problem? And I suppose you agree that Jesus' brothers are the anointed. And what good would it make to answer your question if God has personally revealed the truth to me? To understand the word of God we don't need to hear literally God's voice. It is enough that we study his word and tie the prophecies to events that we see happen. God's invisible spirit can just make us see and understand what is really happening. And I am really not a man pleaser. I got disfellowshiped from the organization because I tried to show the elders and members of the congregation several things that were false in the WT teaching. And I am not worried if I am popular or not. It is more important for me to give spiritual food timely than to be late.

Billy, why did you get baptized? Was it a sincere step to become Jesus' disciple or was it primarly to become fully accepted member of the congregation? Because I don't see from your posts that you are a sincere disciple of Jesus. Instead you seem more to be a organization-pleaser. If you was not raised as Jehovah's witness I guess you would have seriously examined if Jehovah's witnesses really teach what the Bible says. But if you was a born in Jehovah's witness you probably accepted most of the doctrines without demanding scriptural backing and without serious examination. Because that is mostly how in born witnesses are. Either way, you have now the possibility to examine if your belief system is correct. And if you are bothered by GB lies, you don't need to put your head into sand and pretend you don't know anything about that. Instead you should search for the truth. And do it with all your force. When I was baptized there was a lot of talk that it is not enough to know superficially the truth. There was a lot of talk of having accurate knowledge of the truth. But now the last years the focus has shifted from accurate knowledge to just trust the GB and what they put out. Don't you see that they have taken a very dangerous course? And to deceptively justify changes in doctrine they claim that what is now published is something good for just this time. And if they change the doctrine again they say now Jehovah wants you to hear an other thing. I don't belive that, because Jehovah wants you to know the truth accurately. He don't want you to be in spiritual darkness and that you go around and spread false doctrines. The same rules apply to Jehovah's witnesses as to other church members. Don't you agree? Very soon you will be so confused, when the attack on the holy place occures. I see it very possible this year 2019. The Yellow West disorders in France could well result in the fulfilment of the sword-stroke spoken of in Revelation 13. And what follows is described in that chapter. And a second string of evidence that the final 1260 days is very near to begin is Trump's decision to withdraw from Syria. And according to Daniel 11:30,31 this leads to Trump turning his attention on the holy covenant. And that will in turn lead to the profanation of the sanctuary and the fortress and the stopping of the constant feature. That is in other words the halt of WT organization. Chances are very high that this will happen in this year soon after Trump has taken out US troops from Syria and after the protest movement in France have been crushed. And the following verses are about the same time that is to begin very soon. And the king in this scripture is talking about President Trump. Daniel7:25 He will speak words against the Most High,+ and he will continually harass the holy ones of the Supreme One. He will intend to change times and law, and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time.*+ 26 But the Court sat, and they took away his rulership, in order to annihilate him and to destroy him completely.+ By the way Daniel 8:23-25 also speaks about Trump and what he will do. So Billy, if GB would be giving timely spiritual food, then they would have explained to you in the WT these scriptures and warned about what will soon happen. And they should have already explained that Donald Trump is this king in the prophecy of Daniel. But they have failed to inform the Jehovah's witnesses. That is why all these troubles has to come. Look here for example how the GB wants that local anointed would be treated. You are not even allowed to ask the anointed about their anointing!!! I guess you could get disfellowshipped for that? How crazy is not that? And paragraph 11 insinuates that the local anointed could well be "false brothers" and imposters. GB just says that to make sure you don't trust your local anointed. That is wicked! Now the GB really discourages to do anything specially for the local anointed. Just the opposite what Jesus told. Billy, have you not remarked that GB manipulates the scripture? Jesus told people to do good in practical ways to his brothers, the anointed. But GB says you should not. Instead you should only preach. Can't you see that they discourage to do exactly what Jesus told you should do? And Jesus even warned that if you will not do good to his brothers by taking care of them you will be condemned to death. In reality if you obey GB in this aspect till the end you will be condemned by Jesus. Matthew 25:45 Then he will answer them, saying: ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of these least ones, you did not do it to me.’+ 46 These will depart into everlasting cutting-off,*+ but the righteous ones into everlasting life.”+

@BillyTheKid46 The Governing Body is a temporary arrangement like the Jewish Sanhedrin in the first century. Then Jesus came with new light. And the Sanhedrin just went darker. Like GB that contradict Jesus when GB tells Jehovah's witnesses not to apply Matthew 25 about Jesus' brothers to other anointed than GB it self. And Jesus told people to literally practically help Jesus' brothers. But GB distorts this by saying that you need only to help Jesus' brothers in taking part in the preaching work. Every thing will soon change when the final 1260 days begin with the attack on the holy place.

Those remaining anointed will instead be caught up to heaven and be transformed to spiritual creatures in a blinking of the eye. 1 Corinthinians 15 and 1 Thessalonians 4. So that are the arguments that the two witnesses of Revelation 11 can not describe anointed ones in general.

John Butler, what do you think about the prophecy that "Elijah" would come before the day of Jehovah? Malachi 4:5“Look! I am sending to you E·liʹjah the prophet+ before the coming of the great and awe-inspiring day of Jehovah.+6 And he will turn the hearts of fathers back toward sons,+ and the hearts of sons back toward fathers, so that I may not come and strike the earth, devoting it to destruction.” I think everyone would do good in expecting the appearance of a single male servant of Jehovah who will embody the role of "Elijah".

I am not so much concerned about the geopolitical situation in Syria. My main interest is to distinguish fulfilments of prophecies in the Bible. And to know in advance what comes next. And in this situation what comes next will have very serious consequences for those who are in a holy covenant with God, aka Jehovah's witnesses. And as I understand Daniel 11:33, there will be changes in the leadership of the Jehovah's witnesses. Instead of a hierarchical structure "those having insight among the people will impart understanding to the many".

I want to inform you about an other prophecy that today begun its fulfillment. It is written in Daniel 11:29 “At the time appointed he[USA] will return and come against the south[Syria or ISIS or both]. Today it has been announced that USA will get out from Syria. That is what it means "He will go back" in verse 30. So after the American troop withdrawal from Syria happens the next thing will be according to God's word the begining of the persecution of Christians, especially Jehovah's witnesses. We are right before this according to Daniel 11:30: USA, Trump will "hurl denunciations against the holy covenant and act effectively; and he will go back and will give attention to those leaving the holy covenant. 31 And arms* will stand up, proceeding from him; and they will profane the sanctuary, the fortress[WT WARWICK CENTER], and remove the constant feature[THE CONSTANT FLOW OF SPIRITUAL FOOD].“And they will put in place the disgusting thing that causes desolation. This will lead to the purification of the Jehovah's witnesses. I am really looking forward for that. I think the advantage of South Korea compared with North Korea in living conditions lies in the fact that South Korea has had a much larger percentage of "christians" in its population. But just being "a christian" country has not given the same effect in many Eastern European, African and Latin American countries. But in the same time their average IQ:s are not so high either. So when you combine christian values with high IQ, then the living standards get a real boost. But I don't think life in paradise will require especially high IQ. The climate will be mild and warm. And people will be able to grow food year round. So there will not bee need for high IQ to survive. Actually many of the technical and chemical inventions today are a source of environmental destruction.

In my teenage I remember that we were often urged to read Psalms 146:3,4 in the ministry: Ps146:3 Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man, who cannot bring salvation. 4 His spirit goes out, he returns to the ground; On that very day his thoughts perish. That kind of mentality stuck in to my mind. So why should we trust the Governing Body? I would only trust the scriptures they show me, but not them as persons or as group of persons. Everything can happen to persons. The Bible is full of such examples. And then at the meetings Proverbs 3:5 was a often repeated scripture: 5 Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, And do not rely on your own understanding. Yes that I learnt, Trust in Jehovah. So it has not at all sounded right when the Governing Body has departed from that mindset and begun to require that we trust them just because they say so. Jesus did not say: 'A Governing Body so and so is the Faithful and Discreet slave'. But he asked who really is the faithful and discreet slave? It is a question. It is not an answer. And every anointed has the potential to be a faithful and discreet slave giving well timed spiritual food. When I said that to my local elders 10 years ago it was finished for me in the congregation. The elders said there is no need to discuss any more with me. They did not want to understand the true meaning of Matthew 24:45. Actually when the WT still taught that the Faithful and Discreet Slave is composed of all the anointed, I took the chance and wrote them that I am an anointed and as the WT teaches I am a part of the Faithful and Discreet Slave and therefore I should have part in preparing spiritual food. Guess what? After that they changed the doctrine and decided that the Faithful And Discreet Slave can only be the Governing Body itself. That was not honest!

So for a good society average high IQ in it self does not guarantee that. High IQ is useful for solving tasks. But if an evil person has high IQ, then he can do much damage. I would say that a kind person with low IQ is better than an evil person with high IQ. We are all members of the same body as the Bible says and every type of person can be valuable for the society and for God.

I lived for a few years in the former USSR. I could hear comments why Stalin was admired. Some liked his brutality. One new broder liked Satalin's expression that translated sounds like: 'When a person is gone, the problem is gone.' = 'Нет человека, и нет проблемы.' Many liked also that Stalin was the leader that defeated the Germans and that he expanded the Soviet union. Especially the native Russians liked that. But subjugated territories were not so happy with that. Actually the ethnic Russians were only about 50% of the Soviet union's population. My wife is from Latvia, and she has told me that they dreaded the Russians that Stalin transfered to Latvia. The Russians spyed on Latvians for slightest discontend. And many Latvians were caught and sent to Siberia and never came back. Yeah, the Russians felt like they owned the world thanks to Stalin.

Because it looks like it speak here simultaneously about a heavenly God's woman and an earthly God's woman. Revelation 12:4 And the dragon kept standing before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she did give birth, it might devour her child.5 And she gave birth to a son, a male, who is to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod. Until here this seems to speak about the heavenly woman. But the next things in Revelation 12 about the woman has earthly characterisrics: 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God and where they would feed her for 1,260 days. Here the wilderness is hard to apply to a heavenly place. And who are they that will feed her for 1260 days? The anointed have got the responsibility to feed the domestics. Matthew 24:45-47. I think it is talking about that. And similarly as the early Christians fled when the roman armies came to Jerusalem, so it will be wise for the Jehovah's witnesses to flee and Revelation 12 seem to be about that. Then again in Revelation 12:15 we read how Satan will try to cause harm to the woman with earthly methods: "And the serpent spewed out water like a river from its mouth after the woman, to cause her to be drowned by the river. 16 But the earth came to the woman’s help, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river that the dragon spewed out from its mouth." How could this be about God's heavenly organization? Impossible! If it is symbolically it does not fit heaven. If it is literally it does not fit heaven. So it must be about God's earthly woman in our time. Jesus' bride are the anointed. So the ordinary JWs as a group should be God's earthly woman.
