Sometimes things are so insane that you think someone is repeating a Parody off of "The Onion" .... but then you realize .... these folks are dead serious.

    Until they notice you.
I think there was a really good reason why Jesus waited until he was 30 years old to be baptized.
We are supposed to follow Jesus' example  as well as his teachings ... and most people do not form a basis for a firm resolve based on character ... until they actually have enough life experiences to DEVELOP character.
Unless you are an Elder in good apparent standing, where the "Three Year Rule" applies, after dedication and baptism, you will always be subject to scrutiny, and chastisement ... if they notice you.

The first photo is of a prosperity gospel church - there are many of them here - whereby the preacher and his family always make out financially very well indeed, thank you, though the flock is typically quite modest, or even poor. BibleSpeaks may have a specific church in mind, but I do not know that.
The next photo is from Ann being a smart-aleck. Judge Rutherford drove a nice car, too, she points out.
The next post is from BibleSpeaks, essentially saying: "OH YEAH?! Well, our guy deserved it because he was our guy!"
Then JWI adds some explanatory details and it is a wonder he does not go on for pages.
Then follows a photo of me in a 56 Cadillac that is not mine. It belongs to a local businessman. He saw me looking it over. We got to chatting and he offered to take a picture of me in it. He bought the Cadillac from some mogul in Hollywood. It has apparently been in some movies but, for some reason, everyone is tight lipped about just which ones.

I do not know what you want specific proof of, but I was there, and paying close attention.
It made a BIG impression on me as I noticed the only regular really "fun" thing that we had was shut down, and the inanity of the "save gas" excuse now rings even MORE hollow as I travel 4 hours to an Assembly, when I used to travel 1 .5 hours.
You could ask any Elder that was there during that time period ... and ask to see the directive from the GB that shut that meeting down, with one of the SPECIFIC lame excuses that it was to save gas, in that directive. It was read at the meeting and posted on the Kingdom Hall bulletin board.
Remember, unless you use approved words, in approved phrases, about approved ideas. using approved examples ... you will not be called on to give a comment.
Unless you are 90 years old, and you ramble on a lot about your experiences in 1943.

This is the real reason the 2nd Mid-week meeting, usually in someone's home ... commonly known as the "Tuesday Night Book Study" was eliminated, years ago.  It in reality had NOTHING to do with saving gasoline, which was the lame excuse for it's being cancelled globally, among other lame excuses.
People were having "Goodie Nights" about once a month with cakes and pie, and other goodies, afterwards ... AND DISCUSSING THINGS AMONG THEMSELVES, after the  Book Study.
Malignant, evil things, like "That paragraph six made no sense to me... did it make any sense to you?"
I particularly remember the "Commentary on the Book of James" ... longer by far than the actual Bible Book of James ... that made no sense to me ... but I thought at the time  it was my spiritual state being so poor EVERYBODY was "getting it" ..... except me.
I am sure JW Insider has more details than I about who wrote it, and why .... but many years later I found out that the book we studied globally, once a week, was written by a group of Brothers as an inside joke to see what they could get away with ... and the entire writing committee was several years DF'd later for apostasy.
This explanation may or may not be true ... I wasn't there ... but THIS explanation made perfect sense to me.
I do know that I have brought up the "Commentary" several times with Elders who were there at the time, merely stating it was longer than the Bible Book ... and they did not want to talk about it.
Perhaps I should have offered then a piece of pie.
... for MANY reasons ... it  goes well beyond sad ....

Are we ashamed when we hear or read about these types of news lines? Why? Are we perfect? Does this type of thing not occur inside our organization also? To shy away from it and not clean it from our midst is wrong to know that it is being taken care of by our judiciary inside the congregation and by Caesar,is refreshing. To any who thinks having this brought to their attention is weak. Paul brought things of this sort to the congregation's attention, and we are taught this was for the betterment of the person and the congregation. So why is it not the same today? Knowing this is happening or has happened and we are doing something about it! Amongst JW in the past and now. Until this system ends we will have such problems, we are sinful people. Nothing has changed!

I do not know.  But I would comment that a person who has certain problems can commit suicide wherever they are and as soon as the right circumstances appear.  It does not matter what the religion and the people around one.
I have read quite extensively about physical issues that can contribute to mental issues.  We all know that continuous stress, as an adult or  a child, can change the chemistry of the body.  There is enough evidence to show that chemical imbalances can trigger schizophrenia, is responsible for autism and many more conditions that can relate to mental illness.
There is a doctor who healed her child from severe autism by replenishing the bodies' flora' - and with this I mean the good bacteria that was non-existent.  There are many hormones produced in the intestines that rely on good bacteria in the intestines.  (They found a shortage of serotonin in schizophrenia.)  Over use of antibiotics and chemicals in water etc... has decimated many people's first line of defense regarding mental and physical health in the intestines. No wonder the digestive system has been called the 'second brain'.  Pollution and many other factors are starting to surface as major contributing factors to mental illnesses.  I honestly believe that mental illness is not just a psychological disease but has its origins in the imbalance of chemicals/hormones in the body.
Of course, not all mental illness comes from physical diseases as there are other contributing phenomena.  People who dabble in satanism and drugs (which can cause schizophrenia) or other forms of entertainment /practices forbidden by God, know that they are treading a fine line where their conscience can be severely damaged as well.  So, what we expose ourselves to mentally of course will also affect us spiritually and we can lose our spiritual balance if we reject the guidelines of Jehovah.
But we do know that Jehovah is a just god - and he knows us all intimately.  We cannot bamboozle him - only ourselves.... So he is the final judge of all and he will take all things into consideration. Our knowledge is very limited - and he knows this - for sure!
It has been found that people who commit suicide can be impulsive and lose sight of reality...temporarily. It is this impulsive streak which has contributed to many young people's deaths by their own hand - similar to risk taking.  They are not yet mature to recognize this in themselves. (Serotonin is known to give calmness to a person...)

@JW Insider can top your experience any day with one he knows about. I half fear that he will.
Suicides happen. They are tragic. These days in the greater world they have become all the rage among the young, who do not buy the rosy reports enthusiasts of this system are trying to sell them. Surely there can be no greater condemnation of this world than the stampede among the young to leave it.
It is better than an idiot sharing the dismal news of this system of things with a happy face.
