Today's "Body of Christ" taught by the Watchtower, includes every JW. I only know this from hearing it on a JW broadcast about building a convention center, I believe. The elder used the term "Body of Christ" in reference to all JWs. Rev 16:13,14

Light is truth. John 14:6; 8:12 Christian living requires speaking truth and practicing love toward one’s neighbor. Eph 5:11 - And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. Beliefs Clarified is not truth, but “unfruitful works” of darkness; a flip-flop of lies. Beliefs Clarified” is a misnomer and should in all honestly be entitled, “Beliefs Obscured”. When we “clarify” a point, we bring into focus what is initially stated, building on the primary point. If we clarify a true teaching, that truth becomes well established with clearer understanding. Watchtower usually starts with a lie and ends with a lie. Prov 12:22 A wicked slave authorizes its army of adherents to ban and disfellowship those who follow Christ, even though Jesus promises life to those who do. Matt 24:9-13; 48-51; Rev 13:11,12, 15; John 8:12 It is not an act of love to disfellowship such ones, but hate; and it is exactly what Jesus prophesied would happen to those who follow him. Luke 21:12; John 16:2; 1 John 3:12 It is exactly what the Beast/organization of Revelation practices on those who refuse to “serve” and dedicate themselves to its authority. Rev 13:4-10 The attack against such ones, is guaranteed. These are all “unfruitful works of darkness”. Pagan ways? You are grasping at straws. Can you imagine worshiping God without the organization? If not, you are an idolater. Isa 46:5 To admire a dual power of authority over others, is admitting one’s own enslavement to its authority. It has nothing to do with true “religion”. James 1:27 Since the GB ‘dishonors’ others with their sense of pride and position, ousting any who reject their bogus claim, they have no love in themselves; they are the “wicked” slave. The organization’s disfellowshipping file must be bursting at its seams. Of course, their lawsuit file already is. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 1 Cor 13:4-6

This is a very confusing statement. Did you notice that I linked to Anthony Morris' talk on the dead at WT's "Armageddon", as compared to charred, split open hot dogs? That is your darkness that you live in, shown to you by your professed anointed GB member. It is not a demonstration of "light". And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. Eph 5:11

Comparing the dead to charred hot dogs is not mentally disturbing to you. It is not an irrational illustration to present to families. Worse yet, providing this illustration as “nourishing spiritual food” (oh, the irony) to thousands, is acceptable and in harmony with the light of Christ. God’s judgment is not over. We are in the middle of it and such “intoxicating” teachings (another irony) by men professing to be faithful to the Word of God and discreet in its use, have absolutely no source in Holy Spirit. Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight! 22 Woe to men mighty at drinking wine, Woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink, 23 Who justify the wicked for a bribe, And take away justice from the righteous man! Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble, And the flame consumes the chaff, So their root will be as rottenness, And their blossom will ascend like dust; Because they have rejected the law of the Lord of hosts, And despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. Look how organized the Latter Day Saints are, and how they accomplish their work. Although, I would guess many Mormons may share your sentiments, that in spite of this ruling entity, they see how well they do in spite of them - over 16 million members. The First Presidency The First Presidency is the highest governing body of the Church. Its members are special witnesses of the name of Jesus Christ, called to teach and testify of Him throughout the world. Members of the First Presidency travel around the world to speak to members and local leaders; when not traveling, they counsel together and with other general Church leaders on matters affecting the worldwide Church, such as missionary work, temple building and spiritual and temporal welfare. Quorum of the Twelve Apostles The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is the second-highest presiding body in the government of the Church. Its members travel the world as special witnesses of the name of Christ and serve under the direction of the First Presidency. Presidency of the Seventy The Presidency of the Seventy consists of seven General Authority Seventies who are called by the First Presidency and given authority to preside over the various Quorums of the Seventy. General Authority Seventies General Authority Seventies preach the gospel and serve as special witnesses of Christ to the world. They assist the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. Presiding Bishopric The Presiding Bishopric consists of the Presiding Bishop and his two counselors. Each holds the office of bishop, and they serve under the direct supervision of the First Presidency. The Presiding Bishopric is responsible for many of the Church’s temporal affairs. Etc, etc. Looking at the "Quorum of the Twelve Apostles", I could see how they could chase away a lot of people. As we know, the Mormon religion is based on lies even though they preach about the Christ. 2 Cor 11:4

Firstly, you totally missed the point. A child is finding pleasure in revealing the face of one who is being destroyed. He has connected the dots, combining pleasure with the image of death. Who would devise such an activity for a child? Who would create such a sick joke, or jest , on children; God, or Satan? Jesus, or Satan? God is the judge, Satan is the destroyer, not Jesus. God gives plenty of warning when destruction upon His people is imminent; and for those who refuse to listen, He removes His protection from them, surrendering them to the Destroyer. Woe, you destroyer never destroyed, you traitor never betrayed! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed. When you have finished betraying, they will betray you. Isa 33:1 When the Lord goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians, he will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down. Exod 12:23 By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel. Heb 11:23 They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer). Not one of these descriptions refer to Jesus. 2 Thess 1:5-10: All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.6 God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. I don’t own the Word of God, which is “fire”, and how truth is revealed in the last days. “Fire” represents God’s word and carries judgment with the sentence of punishment, voiced by Jesus and those whom he “sends”. Jer 23:29; Matt 13:40-43; Mark 9:37 Satan, however, will carry out the “destruction”, not God or Christ. This will happen before Satan is then destroyed. 1 Cor 15:26 Woe, you destroyer never destroyed, you traitor never betrayed! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed. When you have finished betraying, they will betray you. Isa 33:1 Jesus is life. John 14:6 He does not relish destruction. Don't you remember when he wept over the coming destruction on his people? He wept! Luke 19:41-44 On the other hand, one of your GB members cannot stop talking about death before hundreds, perhaps thousands of children. Below is only one instance of his fascination with destruction and killing. I am thinking about a recent talk he gave on WT's version of Armageddon and how "amazing" all of that destruction on mankind would appear. Anyone amazed by death and suffering has no part in the the spirit of life coming from Christ. John 15:4; Col 2:18,19; Heb 12:15,16; Rev 8:10,11 So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:7-11 Your leaders are thieves, preferring the darkness of destruction; while robbing all JWs from the light of life in Christ. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. John 3:18-21

I think it bears asking, why has the organization EVER practiced it. If the children's activity page that I attached is any barometer of the present climate, I would say, yes they are still practicing it . Can you imagine your child's face as he connects the dots of the agonizing picture of Lot's wife turning into a pillar of salt? "Mommy, look! I finished it!" , he beamed. Jesus must be appalled. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Pet 3:9

This is really a profound statement. All JWs should read it. There is an appropriate way for a parent to relate "horror stories", as is already accomplished in a loving way by responsible parents or in a structured school setting. Yet, as you brought out, the parent needs to be aware of the story in order to relate it in the right way. But...We don't censor "adult" parts of the Bible for our young ones, so why should we "censor" practical warnings of real lurking dangers that could be around them? Anyone blatantly magnifying violence and evil before such little ones, is hiding the evil within themselves. Luke 6:45

It is true, that there are churches with "Sunday school" for children, happening while the parents are attending services. Although, as a Catholic that was never the case for my years growing up in the religion. However, even though children remain with their parents in the kingdom hall, abuse has taken place during the meeting, in the restroom.

It seems to be a superior opinion of yours, to believe he wasn't speaking about Christ, in some form or manner; or had great respect for his teachings. The Watchtower admitted at one point that they moved away from preaching about Jesus, and put their focus on "Jehovah". I wondered why they would change the concept of the apostle's message centered on Christ, and shifted it to "Jehovah". There is no balance in your "preaching". The organization baptizes in the name of itself. The apostles baptized in the name of Jesus; giving thanks to the Father for sending His Son.1 Cor 6:11 So, was there really a centralized organization to be acknowledged by the early Christians as you are continually taught, which bolsters your belief in Watchtower as the path to salvation? Of course, to build an organization, one must suppress the true path God gave us for salvation, Jesus Christ; thus, the move to exalt "Jehovah's organization" over Jesus. Can you see why the man said, "No thank you. I'm Christian"?

Hananiah, in Jeremiah 28, prophesied a premature freedom with the promise of peace; as do the governing body/leaders of the WT. Both proclaim a freedom from Babylon – “breaking free” of Babylon’s “yoke”. Hananiah: “Thus speaks the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying: ‘I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. And I will bring back to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah who went to Babylon,’ says the Lord, ‘for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.’ ”Jer 28:2,4 From the WT 16/11 p. 22-23: The facts show, however, that in the decades leading up to World War I, God’s anointed servants were actually breaking free from Babylon the Great, not becoming enslaved to it. Jeremiah answers Hananiah: (GNT) - 6 “Wonderful! I hope the Lord will do this! I certainly hope he will make your prophecy come true and will bring back from Babylonia all the Temple treasures and all the people who were taken away as prisoners. 7 But listen to what I say to you and to the people. 8 The prophets who spoke long ago, before my time and yours, predicted that war, starvation, and disease would come to many nations and powerful kingdoms. 9 But a prophet who predicts peace can only be recognized as a prophet whom the Lord has truly sent when that prophet's predictions come true.” From the organization’s leaders: WT 15/7/15 pp. 1,2: Jehovah’s people enjoy a special environment of peace in the earthly part of his organization. WT 05/2/15 pp. 17-22: Our spiritual heritage can also infuse in us a deep sense of spiritual security that can be enjoyed only within Jehovah’s organization. 05/2/15 pp. 17-22 The messages of these two prophets contradict all other prophetic messages throughout Bible history made by God’s authentic servants to deliver to His people; and always when they were steeped in sin and idolatry. Exod 32:8,4; Jer 2:5; Rom 1:25 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, “Hear now, Hananiah, the Lord has not sent you, but you make this people trust in a lie. Jer 28:15 Gerrit Loesch: “Since Jehovah God and Jesus Christ completely trust the faithful and discreet slave, should we not do the same?” With each passing year, “peace” is far from being realized in the organization. Lawsuits, prison sentences, sell-off of real estate, the percentage of growth rate being stagnant, disfellowshipping (certainly not a sign of peace, but of “war” Eph 6:12) shows a different picture of “Zion” than what Isaiah prophesied in Isa 2:2,3. This is because the organization is a complete counterfeit Zion. “Go and tell Hananiah, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord: “You have broken the yokes of wood, but you have made in their place yokes of iron.” 14 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him. I have given him the beasts of the field also.’ ” Since the GB admit that Christendom is not an anti-typical fulfillment of Jerusalem, Jesus’ words of Matt chapter 24 describing the “great tribulation” to occur and its impending destruction, cannot apply to Christendom, but to God’s people. There is no longer any excuse for JWs to believe it does. Spiritual “Babylon” is where God’s people now reside. As an instrument of Satan, the ruling dynasty of Babylon, initially headed by Nebuchadnezzar, held Israel in exile for 68 years, until Babylon’s overthrow. it-2 pp. 866-870 Today, the symbolic time period in “Babylon” has reached completion, by the exposure of the identity of the Man of Lawlessness, which is the Beast from the Sea in Revelation 13:1, and as WT puts it, Satan’s “organization”. Beast #1 - Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. Rev 13:1,2,7 If the anointed servants of Christ have already ‘broke free’ of Babylon, how is it they are “overcome”, which means “conquer, to carry off the victory” by the Beast/organization, which is an “instrument of Satan”? And over and over, JWs are told they are the “great crowd” out of all nations, tribes, people and tongues. Rev 7:9 Where else in the world of “organization” do we find both the “saints” and people from all nations gathered in one organization? Beast #2 - Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. Beast #2 is a composite false prophet – a Harlot, who has left their covenant in Christ who directs Beast #1. Col 2:18,19 “Now you arrogant leaders who rule here in Jerusalem over this people, listen to what the Lord is saying. 15 You boast that you have made a treaty with death and reached an agreement with the world of the dead. You are certain that disaster will spare you when it comes, because you depend on lies and deceit to keep you safe.” Isa 28:114,15 He was granted power to give breath (direct spirit) to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. Recall that on your baptism day, before eyewitnesses, you were asked whether you had dedicated yourself to Jehovah and understood that “your dedication and baptism identify you (mark) as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in association with God’s spirit-directed organization.” Wt 17/4 p. 5-7 Anyone who rejects the organization’s “mark” is disfellowshipped – “killed”. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. “mark” - of the mark stamped on the forehead or the right hand as the badge of the followers of the Antichrist… of idolatrous images “buy or sell” - be in the market place, to attend it/to be busy,to trade, to sell whatever is sold: “buy” – which happens at each meeting, Watchtower’s “marketplace”, and when reading every magazine. JWs are “buying” their spiritual food from a false prophet and not directly from Jesus Christ. Rev 3:18 WT 13/7/15 pp. 20-21: In this time of the end, Jesus is feeding his true followers through that faithful slave. It is extremely important that we know who the faithful slave is. Our friendship with God depends on receiving spiritual food through this faithful slave. In return for what JWs have “bought”, friendship with God leading to eternal life is the result of this spiritual exchange, when “purchasing” spiritual food from the governing body/organization. “sell” -the cart work/preaching work of JWs, including the total commitment to an organization; enslaved to not only its teachings, but to the rulership of men. 1 Cor 7:23; Rom 6:16 WT 95/10/1 pp. 25-28: We can be certain that it was not just a ruse used by Jesus to keep his followers busy in the preaching and teaching work. Yes, the God-stimulated sense of urgency had a wonderfully encouraging effect on the first-century Christians, helping them to keep busy in the all-important work of preaching and teaching. It continues to encourage us today in many ways. It (the preaching work) keeps us from becoming complacent or ‘weary of well doing.’ What an odd thing to say, unless the men who wrote this, wanting you to believe the “preaching work” of JWs follows Christ’s example, know their brand of preaching is really…a RUSE. JWs deliver or “sell” the “faithful slave’s” food in the preaching work; direct from a “faithful slave” who has preached failed doctrine (which is NOT a sign of being faithful and discreet in the least), and a premature proclamation of peace. John 6:27 The “antichrist” is spoken of in 2 Thess chapter 2. “As if from us” (2 Thess 2:2)– from those within the anointed Body of Christ, a message is declared that the “day of the Lord has come”. 1914 was declared as the “Day of the Lord” by the Watchtower organization, which results in the pronouncement of a “spiritual paradise”. In 1 Thess 5, the cry of “peace and security” is sounded by those who preach that the “day of the Lord” has come, which again, has been accomplished by the Watchtower organization and its false prophets. “For you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. 3 When they say, “Peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in the dark, for this day to surprise you like a thief.” 1 Thess 5:2-4 Paul states this is the sign of the presence of the “lawless one” whom God “sends” or allows to overcome His people. God allowed Babylon to conquer His people in Jeremiah’s time for their act of rebellion against Him, and he has allowed it again. It is the “instrument” of discipline allowed by God. Luke 22:31 Once he removes His protective Spirit, Satan steps in. 2 Thess 2:9 When Paul wrote 2 Thess 2 he is speaking to God’s anointed people of this lawless presence to come. He taught the anointed ones that they are the Temple of God (1 Cor 3:16,17) and he is warning these “living stones” (1 Pet 2:5,9) that a “Gentile” force would “sit” in the Temple (“to set, appoint, to confer a kingdom on one). 2 Thess 2:4; Rev 11:1,2 This is in place, with the elder body ruling over the anointed priesthood. Obedience to them and the GB who directs them, is paramount to one’s continued existence in the organization. Matt 24:48-51 The elder body is “lawlessness” – the “man of lawlessness” and the “disgusting thing standing in the holy place”. Matt 24:15 The call in Rev 18:4-8 is to “my people” – to “flee Babylon”. Jer 51:6;Matt 24:16 God’s anointed “living stones” are not in Christendom, but where the premature cry of “’peace and security” in a “spiritual paradise” uttered by a false prophet…is established as “truth”. 2 Thess 2:9-12: “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” Do God’s people face “war, starvation, and disease” in the Watchtower? Matt 24:7 Both starvation and disease are the result of drinking in the Harlot’s “wormwood” –bitter waters full of lies, delivered to God’s saints and the “nations” with them, by her “locust scorpion” army. Rev 6:6; 13:7; 9:1-5; 8:10,11; 18:8

Huh. It would be a miracle if you "left" your faith in the organization. But, marvelous things do happen. I have full confidence in knowing the answer to this question. “After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. 67 So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?”68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? John 6:66-68 Sigh... I fear you may not know the right answer, since your leaders always throw you a curve ball. It’s interesting how those who turn to Jesus Christ, once leaving the WT, speak about Christ, not feeling the need to continually back up his words with “organization” or, “faithful and discreet slave”. Does God reject them for doing so? Will they survive WT's rendition of Armageddon? They are "killed" by your leaders for following Jesus Christ. Rev 13:15; 11:7 These are the things I know.

Maybe you were, maybe you weren't. Just in case you were... What I “preach” about concerns the condition of “craftiness” that you and the anointed ones live under. Personally, I feel relief knowing that I can now approach God and Jesus without anyone telling me how to do it. This is what God wants for us, an authentic personal relationship with Him and His Son. It's called stepping out of the darkness and into the light of Christ. John 8:12; 1:4,5; 2 Cor 4:6; 1 Pet 2:9 My disfellowshipping was a spiritual “killing” for “apostasy”. I was told if ever I changed my mind, I would be considered for reinstatement, which is such a laughable proposition. I would be reinstated into an organization. I would not be "returning to Jehovah" because God and the organization are two different entities. Isa 46:5 One, is a practicing lie under the presence of the “man of lawlessness”. Matt 24:15; 2 Thess 2:3,4 It is a "god of fortress" set up by a "king" who rules over spiritual Zion, the true Temple of God. It is a "god unknown to his ancestors", that "he will honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts." Dan 11:38 The organization is the "different" Beast, that arises to trample the anointed ones. God's chosen people have never had to face anything like it, until now. Dan 7:7; Rev 13:1,2,7 It holds authority over the "saints"...and you. If you would just open your spiritual eyes… 2 Thess 2 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us— (apostles, with whom many JWs compare with the GB) whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. (1914) 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, (the anointed ones 1 Cor 3:16,17) proclaiming himself to be God. God's Temple is not "Jehovah's spiritual temple", otherwise known as the organization - that "different" Beast. It is in the hearts of the anointed ones. 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22 5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. 2 Thess 2:1-12 Before God's people have ever suffered destruction, He revealed His message to His servants and sent them to warn His people of their pending doom. “Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets” Amos 3:7 These servants were considered the one's telling the lie by the majority of the people. They were viewed as crazy, with a message of little use. Think of all the prophets God sent and the people's reactions. "They say to the seers, 'See no more visions!' and to the prophets, 'Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions.'" Isa 30:10 Revelation is a book that God reveals to His servants (the anointed ones) who care to heed it's message. Rev 3:18 It is a warning message concerning the sins of God's holy people, just as He has made known when His people fell into sin throughout the ages. Rev 1:1 Your leaders offer you a spiritual paradise of peace and security. This is their "prophetic" message. Jeremiah dealt with this same issue among Israel. "The dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. "Peace, peace", they say, when there is no peace". Jer 8:11 Look around you, can't you see there really is no peace in the organization? It cannot save you from the nations as God did for His people when they obeyed His directions. Isa 48:18 If you had eyes that were open to the sins committed by God's people you would see the lie for what it actually is. You would understand that you "serve the lie." Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 1 Thess 5:1-3 By the way, God doesn't choose the prominent ones to get His message across. He chooses the despised ones, those least expected to carry His message. 1 Cor 4:13 But, of course, those who are despised are viewed as the haughty ones, while those who are held in "high esteem", get away with murder. Gal 2:6; John 16:2-4; Matt 5:11,12; Rev 13: 11,12,15; 11:1-3,7-10 I am not surprised at what you think about me. So, are you comparing the apostles to the governing body and the organization? Just asking. I agree with scripture, there is “nothing new under the sun”, except for its magnitude in the last days.

While pointing to a physical mountain (Samaria), Jesus said no longer would centralized worship take place, because God is looking for those who worship in spirit and truth. (John chapter 4) Obviously, there were true, faithful believers since Christ who took his words to heart and built their faith on his teachings, for the larger part of 2,000 years. Along comes the Watchtower and changes everything. Salvation becomes the organization. The centralized worship of the organization staunchly expects loyalty and dedication to it, and its leadership. Why did the words Christ spoke to the woman at the well become valueless? Because men were inspired by a spirit other than that of God. Matt 24:24; Rev 13:11,15

I do, and I realize that at least you wear your heart on your sleeve; while the GB members feign piety as they direct each person who resists their headship when choosing Christ instead, to be cut off from all family and friends...and marked as "dead". It is very disheartening to see how you degrade people, more so than any person I have ever met; whether they are your "brothers" or your enemies. Each one receives the same degradation as the next. I am never disappointed in how you fulfill that role. Biblical laws are the Word of God in Christ. I follow Christ; you follow men. I think you mean I have broken men's laws that you perceive as coming from Jesus Christ. This is called blind slavery to men's lust for power. 2 Cor 4:4 Don’t you know that if you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of that one you obey—either of sin leading to death or of obedience leading to righteousness? Rom 6:16 You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of people. 1 Cor 7:23 knowing that you will receive the reward of an inheritance from the Lord. You serve the Lord Christ. Col 3:24 For am I now trying to persuade people, or God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. The long and the short of it is that there is a “disgusting thing” – an “abomination of desolation” – a “Gentile” army of elders – ruling over/sitting/standing in the “holy place”; which is the Temple/anointed priesthood. 1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17 If we perceive this absolute reality, we are to FLEE. 2 Chron 13:9; Num 18:7; Ezek 44:6-9; Dan 11:31; Matt 24:15,16; Luke 21:20-22; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev.11:1,2

Jesus gave the early disciples the signs of that coming system’s demise and when those who still remained in Jerusalem, were to leave. The Romans had already set up authority over Jerusalem, the “Holy City” and temple. They were the “abomination”/Gentiles standing in the “holy place”. Matt 24:15 The Roman army represented their emperor, carrying his iconic image and the image of the legion, and were bestowed with honor. “When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that its desolation has come near. 21 Then those in Judea must flee to the mountains. Those inside the city must leave it, and those who are in the country must not enter it, 22 because these are days of vengeance to fulfill all the things that are written. Luke 21:20-22 Jesus warned them to leave and flee to the mountains. Matt 24:16 They were not to stick around upon recognizing this threat. Those that remained in Jerusalem until its fall, lost their lives – millions of them. There is another fulfillment of these scriptures – a spiritual fulfillment. Today’s “Temple” in the anointed ones is “surrounded by armies” – the “Gentile” nation of unanointed elders. While the anointed must remain “humble”, the elders are bestowed with honor. The elders have breached the “temple walls” carrying their lies and setting up an “abomination of desolation”. Dan 11:31 This “royal priesthood” is restricted in the way they are to worship, they must rely on the “daily sacrifices” coming from an “emperor” and his army, and not on truth from Jesus Christ. Matt 21:33; Neh 1:3 They are powerless and scattered. Rev 13:1,2,5-8 In addition, anointed Christians do not view themselves as being part of an elite club. They do not seek out others who claim to have the same calling, hoping to bond with them or endeavoring to form private groups for Bible study. (Gal. 1:15-17) Such efforts would cause divisions within the congregation and work against the holy spirit, which promotes peace and unity.—Read Romans 16:17, 18. WT 16/1 p.24 God gave them Holy Spirit to teach the people. Mal 2:7; 1 John 2:27 In the Watchtower, they are refrained from utilizing this gift by offering “daily sacrifices of praise.” that are to come from their heart; not from an elder body who delivers rotten food from a wicked slave. Matt 24:48-51 (1 Pet 2:5,9) Many people will say Matt 24:15 doesn’t have any further fulfillment. But notice Rev 11:1,2 which was written after Jerusalem’s downfall: Then I was given a measuring reed like a rod,[a] with these words: “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count those who worship there. But exclude the courtyard outside the temple. Don’t measure it, because it is given to the nations,[a](Gentiles) and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months. Rev 11:1,2 The “holy city” is the Temple/New Jerusalem and the dwelling of God – the anointed ones. (Gal 4:26;Rev 21:2) Don’t you yourselves know that you are God’s temple and that the Spirit of God lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and that is what you are. 1 Cor 3:16,17 Has the dual power in the organization “destroyed” the anointed ones/God’s temple? Spiritually, yes. They have been replaced by the elders, and have allowed “images” of an idol/ organization to over-run their worship. They obey the elder army and are excluded from speaking and uniting in truth under Jesus Christ. 2 Thess 2: “Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him: We ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to be easily upset or troubled, either by a prophecy[a] or by a message or by a letter supposedly from us, alleging that the day of the Lord has come.3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For that day will not come unless the apostasy[c](rebellion) comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits (rules) in God’s temple, proclaiming that he himself is God.” If we remember Wt’s latest admittance that Christendom is not anti-typical Jerusalem, then we know where this message will have its fulfillment, which is where the true Temple/anointed ones are gathered and surrounded, by an “army” of spiritual, “uncircumcised Gentiles”. It is in the WT that the proclamation has been made concerning the “day of the Lord”, as 1914. The apostasy/”man of lawlessness”/”Gentiles”/”abomination” over God’s spiritual Temple is evident. When we perceive this, we are to flee. Remaining inside is a treacherous proposition. But as we know, the WT uses deceit to hold God’s Temple members and their companions, hostage to a lie. "To survive, we must keep our faith strong and loyally worship Jehovah with his organization...May each one of us stay close to Jehovah and move ahead with his organization"ws14 5/15 pp. 21-26 And may each one, "listen, obey, and be blessed" by following their regime, not to the structure God has already outlined within the anointed Body of Christ.
