It seems to me that a small or large religion can be a cult, or cult-like. Cults portray the same primary characteristics, which can be traced back to the Destroyer, Satan. Not long ago, Gerrit Losch asked, “So, whom do you trust? You fully trust Jehovah, Jesus and the faithful slave.” “Do you trust me? I hope so.” He quoted, Prov 14:15: “The naive person believes every word. But the shrewd one ponders each step.” The leaders of the organization teach that it is God’s organization. This would mean all instructions, all teachings, would come from God. So, we could surmise that all teachings are trustworthy, that JWs could thoroughly expect their leaders in charge, to tell them the truth as Losch expressed above - truth spoken at all times. JWs, you are told that you hear God’s promises when you listen to what the organization teaches you. You are told you love the organization because it teaches you “wonderful truths”. You are admonished to do what the organization wants you to do, because it is God’s proactive organization, always guiding you for your benefit, with your best interests at heart. Isa 48:17,18 However, since your anointed leaders claim not to be inspired by Holy Spirit, how can you trust their teachings as beneficial and coming from God? (1 John 2:27; Rom 5:5) (1 Cor 12:4,7; Heb 2:4) We’re talking about a multi-million-dollar organization in the earthly spiritual realm that promises to guide you to salvation. (Phil 3:19; Rom 1:25) That’s a big deal! Millions of people depend on it, to lead them in truth; since without truth, we cannot be saved. John 8:32;14:6 Ask yourself, how can it be done without its leaders’ inspiration from Holy Spirit? On a wing and a prayer, as the saying goes? What leads them, what motivates them, if their hearts are not inspired with truth from Christ? (John 16:13; 2 Pet 3:18) (1 John 4:1; 2 Pet 2:1; Rev 8:11;13:15; 16:13,14) I have heard 1 Cor 13:8 used by one of the GB members, as the reason for lack of inspiration among the organization’s leaders: “Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.” Has knowledge vanished away during these last days? No. Then, why would prophesy cease? Dan 12:4; Rev 11:1-3 Consider verse 9,10: 9 "For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; 10 but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with. " “That which is complete” has not arrived; thus, prophesy as well as knowledge, has not ceased. John 16:13 (Consider “Has Prophesy Ceased?” 4womaninthewilderness, Pearl Doxsey) What if, you found a teaching in the history files (there are several, and easy to find) that wasn’t trustworthy; that is, it couldn’t be applied today since it was replaced with another teaching? And, this teaching affected the promise of salvation for thousands of people? Many may have died under that false teaching, going to their grave believing simply, a lie. Would this be any different than a Catholic going to his grave believing in the trinity? A lie is a lie. God or Jesus would not be responsible for the organization giving you faulty instructions, that later had to be scrapped. It falls on the shoulders of men. Isa 2:22 We must admit that it is an abnormal relationship of a spirit inspired organization (“spirit-directed”), to be led by uninspired leaders. John 3:21; 1 John 1:6; Rev 13:11,12,15 I think you’ll agree that we would never receive bad advice or direction from the Father, because He truly has our best interests at heart. Jer 29:11 So much so, that we received warning from Jesus of false “christs”, false prophets who would come on the scene in the last days to deceive “even the elect”. Matt 24:22-25 Now, the “elect” are the anointed ones, where the majority are gathered presently in the organization. Rev 20:7-9 Would they, as a group, be deceived by false prophets in “Christendom” if they are baptized JWs? Would they, as a group, be 'conquered' spiritually by any false prophets in the world when they are already JWs? Rev 13:7; 9:1-4 The Bible speaks of an anointed “remnant” coming out of “Babylon”. Zech 2:6,7; Matt 24:15,16; Rev 18:4; 12:14,6 If that remnant is the anointed in the organization that have escaped Babylon, as your leaders teach you, this would indicate there are numerous anointed ones in Christendom who never entered the organization. Do you believe this, JWs? The anointed are a remnant, the last group of the “woman’s seed” to face Satan’s final test before the Kingdom arrives. Rev 12:4,15,17 This test is called the “Great Tribulation”. Jer 30:5-7; Matt 24:21,22; Rev 3:10 Deceit is at its helm, since it is Satan’s greatest, most powerful tool to use against God’s people. 2 Thess 2:3,4,9-12 The Great Tribulation is a spiritual assault by Satan upon the remnant (Rev 12:17; 20:8-10; 16:13-16; 1 Tim 4:1; Luke 21:20-22) through the greatest Army that has ever existed [Rev 13:1,4; 11:2; 9:7,10; Luke 22:31; 21:20-22,24; Mark 13:14 – (Num 18:7); Matt 24:15,16] It has a deceptive priestly - princely veneer (Jer 7:4,8; Ezek 44:6-9; Rev 9:7; Nahum 3:17) of divine inspiration*** and approval, through endorsement by the false prophet's lying spirit, not by God's spirit! Explain, how God has exalted YOU to a position of great responsibility, that YOU will ultimately be judged by God more severely for leading people astray, by making your own definitive claim of superiority and righteousness over everyone else on this forum...that God Himself has not granted YOU by your own actions and behavior. Please. Enlighten me on this marvel. You can live with Watchtower's sins. Many of us cannot. These "ministers" have received all glory and authority over the "House of God", the anointed ones; just as Satan promised.

Charles Taze Russel, whom the Bible Students cling to. Unless I'm mistaken, his “Studies in the Scriptures” seems to be their second Bible. The secret of the greater intelligence and aptitude of the Caucasian undoubtedly in great measure is to be attributed to the commingling of blood amongst its various branches; and this was evidently forced in large measure by circumstances under divine control. Please analyze the word "truth". Especially truth from God and Christ. Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:16,17 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24 Do you believe the GB are asking for a good and perfect gift of truth from the Father? "What does the record show?", as they have said.

As Jesus said to his people that chose to follow HIM: “Blessed [morally courageous and spiritually alive with life-joy in God’s goodness] are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil things against you because of [your association with] Me. Be glad and exceedingly joyful, for your reward in heaven is great [absolutely inexhaustible]; for in this same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matt 5:11,12 (AMP)

We can be inspired to climb a mountain, paint a picture, have a family, etc., by our own mind and spirit. But, a person can receive spiritual influence from either an evil spirit or the Spirit from God. Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. 11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man that is in him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God. We: those anointed with Holy Spirit. The spirit of the world: the earthly, elemental influence of the world. Eph 2:1-3; Col 3:5; James 3:15 13 We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people. This is “inspiration”, being “inspired” by God’s Spirit. Everyone who is anointed has spirit poured into their heart. Rom 5:5; Titus 3:6,7 They are “inspired”; but, they can bury this inspiration – suppress it, within their heart. They can choose not to submit to the Spirit, by listening to another spirit – that of false prophets, false teachers whose hearts are “inspired” by the spirit of the world. 2 Pet 3:17 They can also listen to themselves, to their spirit, their understanding, and not what the Spirit of God teaches. Prov 3:5,6; Hos 9:7 They can eventually lose the Spirit of God and replace it with the external demonic spirit from Satan. James 3:11; 2 Cor 13:5 14 But the unbeliever does not welcome what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually. 15 The spiritual person, however, can evaluate everything, yet he himself cannot be evaluated by anyone. At one point, Jesus “breathed” spirit onto the apostles. This was before they were anointed. Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 After saying this, He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” John 20:21,22 They were “inspired” Rom 5:5; Titus 3:6,7 The Spirit of God takes up residence within a heart. John 14:23; That person “receives the Holy Spirit”, along with the gift it gives them. 1 Cor 12:4,7; Heb 2:4 It is an outside source that “inspires” one’s actions and thoughts, giving them direction in understanding spiritual things. It is how God and Jesus speak to us, through those anointed whom Jesus sends. John 13:20; Matt 10:40 Yet, anyone can be “inspired” or influenced or motivated by either an evil spirit or the Spirit from God. We are to guard our heart and mind from the sources of evil. Prov 4:34 Now the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will depart from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons. 1 Tim 4:1 Paying attention to lies and allowing their influence to permeate our spiritual being can become one’s “inspiration”. The GB say they are not inspired. We should ask why, if indeed they are anointed. And, we should consider what influences their thinking. Is it the Spirit of Truth? Or, is it the influence of the spirit of the world? There is some force that inspires their teachings. If it includes falsehoods of doctrine no longer valid, then these men have been inspired by another spirit. Matt 12:34 The Spirit of Truth has not inspired men to teach what is on the list of “Beliefs Clarified”, keeping all JWs on a crooked path of darkness. Not a single glimmer of the light of Christ can be found on that list. Not one glimmer. John 8:12; Matt 5:16 I wish JWs desired pure truth, the pure light from Christ. It is as if JWs do not believe it is possible. To put it crudely, men are yanking your chain, JWs, leading you along with falsehoods, and you don’t even care to discern this deceit; or, stop it from influencing you. Your leaders are so convincing, that you believe Jesus and the Father are doing the yanking! JWs visualize and accept that changed teachings by men are a normal spiritual occurrence. It isn’t normal according to the Spirit of God. A Beast/organization has been given the title of “spirit directed” by a false prophet who admits it is not “inspired” by God. Rev 13:11,14-17 It is directed by demonic expressions – inspirations that were foretold to come against God’s people in the last days. Rev 16:13,14; 20:9 And you don’t see it. Isa 6:9,10; Acts 28:26,27 “When the Counselor comes, the One I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father—He will testify about Me. “John 15:26 “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak whatever He hears. He will also declare to you what is to come.” “He is the Spirit of truth. The world is unable to receive Him because it doesn’t see Him or know Him. But you do know Him, because He remains with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you.” John 14:17,18 THIS IS WHAT THE GB DOES NOT HAVE AND WHICH WAS PROMISED TO COME - THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH. And they admit it. My first downvote ever, since being a member here. I am awestruck by the stupidity. Notice, I am not calling you "stupid", but sir, your brain as well as your heart totally lacks spiritual sensitivity. I feel so sorry for you.

The good news is not preached in all the world, as we understand it. Paul talked about that being done, even in the first century. He said of their work of preaching to the Jews; "But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed: ‘Their sound has gone out to all the earth, And their words *to the ends of the world.’* Rom 10:18 That word "world", really means, "land". Not all lands, are the whole world. Paul also said; Col.1: "5 because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, 6 which has come to you, *as it has also in all the world*" He was saying that the gospel was already heard, in the whole land. Verse 23 continues; "and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was *preached to every creature under heaven*, of which I, Paul, became a minister." Paul did not preach to the whole world. Yet he says that the gospel was preached to "every creature under heaven". Rev.14: 6 says; "Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach **to those who dwell on the earth**—to *every nation, tribe, tongue, and people"*. We may think from this, that everyone in the world is being referred to. But notice that the great crowd is described in the same way... "9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, **of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues,** standing before the throne and before the Lamb...) (Rev.7) Is the Great Crowd, the whole planet? No. Look at how the anointed priests and kings of God are described.... "9 And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood **Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation**, 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.” (Rev.5) They are not the whole world either. So they too, are described as "from all nations", but they are not the whole world. When Rev.14:6 tells us that the good news will be preached "to all those who dwell on the earth"... the word that was translated "earth", also means, a particular land and is occupied by people. In Revelation, the "earth" is not the "sea". The "sea" represents those who do not know God (see Isa.57:20). The Land that does know God, and claims to worship him, and that land is translated into the word "Earth" (God's occupied land). So again, the good news is not toward the whole world, but toward God's people. Even though the gospel opened up to Gentiles of all nations, who were also added to God's people, notice that they also *become Jews, in their spirit*... "28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; 29 but *he is a Jew who is one inwardly*; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God." (Rom.2) Do you see that those of all nations, become spiritual Jews? Gal.3:28-29 agrees; "28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And **if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed**, and heirs according to the promise." If you become the seed of Abraham... you become a spiritual Hebrew. Rom.4: "16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham" So then, who did Jesus say we would be preaching to, and trying to reach with the truth? He said; "22 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures *to the end* will be saved. 23 When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, **you will not have completed preaching to the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes."** (Matt.10) Did you notice who Jesus said, would be getting preached to? "The cities/towns, of Israel". What are the towns of Israel? Jesus named them, in Revelation 1:11... "...“What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.” The message being sent out to the "towns of Israel", is the opened scroll of Revelation. To understand that message, is good news.... Rev.1: "3 Happy is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near." So from all this, we see that the good news is not preached to the whole planet, as JWs teach. Jesus said that we would not even finish preaching to "the towns of Israel" before he would return. The good news that is trying to reach God's people, is the true and full interpretation of the book of Revelation. That message reveals the truth, about who is wicked, and who is faithful. That is good news to those who have been slandered and thrown out as wicked, because they are the ones to receive the kingdom. Those who raised themselves up, will be humbled and condemned. An elder told my son once that obeying the “slave” no matter what is taught, is a means to an end. What is the end? A good reputation with God? Eternal life? How does one receive life from blind doctrine and made up rules such as, “counting time” in the ministry? What does that prove, but that the organization needs to tweak things here and there to stay afloat? This poor elder struggles against his very conscience of what is right and what is wrong. He chooses the wrong, thinking he will be rewarded by his obedience to men who have convinced him that they are appointed by God. It is so disheartening. When would God ever expect us to listen to lies?

How did the enmity begin between Satan’s seed and God’s? With a lie. Every anointed one has had to face this enmity – truth against lies – since Christ. It is at its peak right now, with WT leaders keeping the anointed under containment with false promises, their threats and their slanderous statements about them; oppressing their God-given role as a priest by replacing them with “foreigners”/”Gentiles”. Eze 44:6-9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Matt 24:15; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1-3 ONLY A REMNANT WILL SURVIVE WHAT IS HAPPENING THIS MOMENT IN THE WATCHTOWER. Only…if they “come out”. Rev 18:4-8 One doesn’t have to be in a designated “heaven” to fight this war, since being “heavenly” is part of the new creation. Anointed ones can be sealed while on earth and “reign as kings”. Rev 5:9,10 Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God (the heavenly Jerusalem), to myriads of angels, a festive gathering,23 to the assembly of the firstborn whose names have been written[j] in heaven, to a Judge, who is God of all, to the spirits of righteous people made perfect, 24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which says better things than the blood of Abel. Heb 12:22-24 He also raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavens in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might display the immeasurable riches of his grace through his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. Eph 2:6,7 The Beast of the Sea is the organization Rev 13:1 The Beast with “two horns who speaks like a lamb” is the GB/false prophets. Rev 13:11 They are Gog and Magog. Rev 20:7-9 With the emergence of the organization, the symbolic “thousand years” is finished. Satan has been “let loose” to deceive. DECEIVE who? The anointed ones, and those with them. Rev 20:7-9; 13:7 “If anyone tells you then, ‘See, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘Over here!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. Matt 24:23,24 Armagedon is fought in the valley of decision – where do we establish our spiritual decisions, but in our heart? Joel 3:14 The battle of truth against lies has been raging since Genesis. It will finish when the Father of the lie is destroyed along with those who teach his lies. Rev 19:20; 20:10 The anointed fight this battle with WORDS – truth from Jesus Christ; and on the opposing side, those who speak lies originating with Satan. Eph 6:12; Rev 12:7,8 If the GB had Holy Spirit, they would not need to enter into lawsuits to protect their self-interests, or buy stock in social media to quash those who speak against them (which they are doing at this moment, which they are doing to Pearl Doxsey and myself) They wouldn’t have lawyers at all. Christ would guide them…if they were on the side of truth. Instead, they rely on this system and its various avenues to fight against truth spoken by the anointed on the other side of the WT wall of lies. Ezek 13:10-14 And who has power and authority over this world? John 12:31 Rev 11:1-7; Jer 23:29 The only entity that for years has spoken of itself as a haven of “peace and security” is the organization, where…the anointed are found! Where the anointed are told they have no more Holy Spirit than anyone else. Where the anointed are told NOT TO MEET TOGETHER. Where they must obey men WHO ARE NOT ANOINTED THEMSELVES AND WHO ARE GIVEN THE POWER TO JUDGE THEM AS SPIRITUALLY "DEAD". John 16:2 Can’t you see the captivity that the Watchtower has successfully created through the use of “empty philosophy”? Isn't this the same as DECEIT? Col 2:8 It is a trap – a LIE – and yet, it calls itself “the truth”. 2 Thess 2:9-12 “About the times and the seasons: Brothers and sisters, you do not need anything to be written to you. 2 For you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. 3 When they say, “Peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers and sisters, are not in the dark, for this day to surprise you like a thief. 5 For you are all children of light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or the darkness.” 1 Thess 5:1-5 Can you be a child of light where rotten discarded fruit generated in the dark recesses of the hearts and minds of men who love authority and power, exists ? A good person produces good out of the good stored up in his heart. An evil person produces evil out of the evil stored up in his heart, for his mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart. Luke 6:45 Why do JWs tolerate lies? What are they afraid of? They are afraid of losing all that they know and possess. Yes, the dragon has created the perfect emotional and spiritual TRAP. Everything, that the WT teaches about the end times – Great Tribulation, Armageddon and how the war is fought, is all a lie; actually, a flood of lies. Rev 12:15-17

We can be physically alive, but spiritually dead, or spiritually alive. We "conquer" death by turning to Christ and his light. If we refuse the light, we remain "dead" and face the "second death". James 1:12; John 8:12; 1:4; 12:46; 1 John 5:11 (2 Cor 4:3,4; Eph 4:18) (Rev 20:15)

“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1 Jesus gave us complete directions on how to do “test the spirits”. Notice what Jesus said: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. Every branch in me that does not produce fruit he removes, and he prunes every branch that produces fruit so that it will produce more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me. My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be my disciples.” John 15:5,8 This “fruit” that Jesus speaks of, is the teaching of pure, clean truth. It cannot be a “present truth” or a past truth, or a “let’s suppose” type of truth, or “evidently” a truth. It is sourced in the vine, the Head of the anointed Body. Eph 5:23; Col 1:18 Can we be fooled into thinking that all anointed priests are attached to the vine of Christ? In my years in the organization, I was greatly fooled. In fact, these scriptures held little deep meaning for me. I simply believed that “nourishing spiritual food” was made available in the form of magazines and oral presentations; and I could count on the governing body to provide this food, which was then dispersed by the elder body. What I didn’t realize, is that the word, “truth” became generalized, all-encompassing, by including the opinions of men that became “doctrine”. This is not what Jesus meant when he said, “bear much fruit”. The opinions and doctrine of men cannot bring us life. Only the Holy Spirit that flows through the vine, is life-giving. Jesus is the TRUE "vine"...those anointed in union with him, are the "branches" (John 15:4,5). What they receive from Jesus (the "nourishing sap" -Rom 11:17; Rev 22:16), is holy spirit (Rom 5:5). The branches are to express that spirit (Luke 5:45), as God (the "vine's cultivator -John 15:1) has determined and distributed (1 Cor 12:4,11,18,28; 7:7; Eph 4:7; Heb 2:4). Those branches are then expected to produce fruit (John 15:2,6; Matt 7:19; Gal 5:22,25; Eph 4:29,12,16; Luke 6:45,44)...which include sayings of life... fruit which is filled with that living water/holy spirit sourced in Christ, the true vine (Rev 22:17). Those who eat the fruit of the true vine and it's true branches, will live! This is why, not only is Christ the Tree of Life, his 144000 also are (Rev 22:1,2; John 13:20). So, when God's spirit is sent out into the earth (in order to examine hearts, give understanding, provide life, judge, etc.), it is channeled through the person of Jesus Christ. He is the mediator between God and man (including Adam) (1 Tim 2:5,6,4), even back in Eden (John 1:1-4,18) (Gen 3:8). That wine can be fine truths sourced in God's holy spirit... or the false prophets who bear rotten fruit (Matt 7:15,16; 12:33,34; John 7:18). The false prophets will offer poisonous wine...doctrines leading to death (Jer 2:21; Deut 32:33,32; Ps 140:3; Rom 3:13). God tells us the future of these anointed who leave the "True Vine" Christ, in order to mislead for the profit of their own power and glory(John 7:18A; Jer 25:30,29; Rev 18:3,4; 14:18,19) These forbid partaking of the True "olive oil and the wine" (Rev 6:6; 13:17). The scriptures tell us of another vine where the branches are leaders and priests who have left the “True Vine” Christ. Deut 32:28,29,32,33: Israel is a nation lacking sense with no understanding at all. If only they were wise, they would comprehend this; they would understand their fate. For their vine is from the vine of Sodom and from the fields of Gomorrah. Their grapes are poisonous; their clusters are bitter. Their wine is serpents’ venom, the deadly poison of cobras. The Bible speaks of spiritual “Israel” today as also a nation “without sense”, drunk on the poisonous wine of wayward teachings. Heb 12:15; Rev 8:11; Jer 51:7; Rev 18:3 Its fruit produced, is according to the wishes of men in a “city” compared to “Sodom and Egypt”. Gen 13:13; Isa 1:2,10; Rev 11:7,8 What comes from eating fruit from a branch of a vine other than Christ? Freedom? No, the scriptures say that this fruit is offered with a price; slavery and oppression with no chance of compromising without losing all that one may have known. Luke 21:24; Col 2:8; Rev 13:10; Matt 24:15; 2 Thess 2:4; Rev 9:3-5,10; 13:6,7,15 However, should any of us compromise when it comes to living truth? John 17:17 “Calling the crowd along with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone wants to follow after me, let him deny himself, take up his stake, and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of me and the gospel will save it. For what does it benefit someone to gain the whole world and yet lose his life? What can anyone give in exchange for his life? For whoever is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:34-38 The Bible tells us that this city is steeped in harlotry, where God and “organization” rival for one’s devotion and service. Isa 1:21; 2 Cor 6:14,15; Rev 17:1,2; Rev 13:11,15,4 Jesus cleanses and restores a repentant remnant who perceive the distinction between the vine of Sodom leading to darkness and death, and the true vine of life in Christ. You must be talking about the GB as the “faithful slave” sent by God. Can you actually prove to me that God has given these men to us to follow? Did Jesus ever lie? If he sent anyone in his name, and told them to “remain” in him because without him they could nothing, would they lie or would they speak the Word of God, which is truth - always? He is the way, the truth, the life. Would those he sends teach any sort of doctrine that failed or had to be totally discarded with a new one? How many times has doctrine flipped from one belief to another, and many times a new belief is actually one from years past, in the step of doctrinal change? John 15:4,5; John 14:6 To say that the leaders of the WT are led by Holy Spirit calls Jesus a liar; subsequently, it calls the Almighty God, a liar. The only one who can take a lie and soften its blow with the insulation of false promises, by calling it a “belief clarified”, is Satan, who “inspires” those who seek out his earthly gifts. 2 Cor 11:13,14 Anyone can see these things if they choose to. It depends on one's heart’s desire to find those who speak pure truth from Christ. Within the organization are hundreds of anointed ones who are silenced. That should ring a bell with all JWs, that something is amiss in the Watchtower. If one of those anointed speaks up about teachings that conflict with WT doctrine, and is heard, I guarantee they will not survive inside its walls. That is the sign of a wicked slave in power. Matt 24:48-51 Jesus spoke up for truth against the power and teaching of the Pharisees. Shouldn't every one of us speak up for truth, regardless of who has placed authority over us? On whether an anointed one is inspired, I just though I'd comment. All anointed ones are inspired by God’s Spirit. It is how they are “called” when anointed. Eph 2:20; 4:4,7,8,11,12; 2;6; 4;8 They could not be the “dwelling” of His Spirit without such inspiration. 1 Cor 3:9,16 Whether they facilitate that gift by obeying the Spirit’s direction, is up to them. Isa 64:8; Matt 25:1; 1 John 2:20,27; 1 Cor 10:12; Rev 2:5 Anointed ones can lose God’s Spirit and acquire the spirit of Satan by falling out of their promise with God, and entering a pact made with the Liar. From them, come “demonic expressions”; exhalations of spirit from Satan. Isa 28:15,7,8 So, anointed are either inspired by the Spirit of truth from God and Christ, or by the spirit of lies from Satan. It isn’t obvious by the way they look or what they accomplish in this physical realm, but by what they teach. Matt 7:20 For the GB to say they are not "inspired" by God's Spirit, is in actuality, in my opinion, a true statement. Inspired by God’s Spirit: Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. 17 But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues. How many times have some of us cut off a bruised section of, let’s say an apple, and still enjoyed eating the rest? We know that normally a small bruise doesn’t affect the taste of the apple. The other day, I had one apple left of any fruit available; one which was clean of bruises, but was just beginning to rot. I knew this, but felt I could cut off the soft brown blemish and eat the rest, just as I had done with a bruise. Upon cutting, I could see the rot had traveled into the core, but I diligently scored out the discolored tissue with the hope of enjoying what remained. The first bite told the story of bitter rottenness. The unpleasant taste had traveled well through the apple; and yet, I made sure I ate as much as I normally would, all the while questioning why I pushed myself to eat such a terrible tasting piece of fruit. Well, I’ll not be doing that again…ever. When an apple begins to rot, fungus has made its way into the flesh through a puncture in the skin. It can happen from contaminated water during the harvesting process; and it is true that “one bad apple spoils the whole bunch”, through the off-gassing of the hormone “ethylene”. An apple infested with fungal mold will spread and contaminate other fruit, looking for another host to grow on; and it successfully accomplishes rotting the whole bunch, all while taking place in the dark. To ripen, an apple needs the light from the sun; to rot and decay – disease and darkness. It seems appropriate that trees are expressed in the Bible as the source of pure teachings, although there are those who are considered bearers of rotten fruit. It is by their “fruit” that we recognize true or false prophets, or true or false teachers. So, it is the anointed who are these trees outlined in the scriptures. Ps 1:1-3 Whatever their heart contains will be the nature of the “fruit” they produce and supply to their hearers. Luke 6:43-45 Matt 12:33-37 - Either make the tree good and its fruit will be good, or make the tree bad and its fruit will be bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. 34 Brood of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart. 35 A good person produces good things from his storeroom of good, and an evil person produces evil things from his storeroom of evil. 36 I tell you that on the day of judgment people will have to account for every worthless word they speak. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matt 7:15-20 - “Be on your guard against false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravaging wolves. 16 You’ll recognize them by their fruit. Their mouth will produce fruit according to the abundance of their own heart. All of Satan's teachings/"fruit" are lies, darkness, error/sin, and they lead to death John 8:44; Heb 2:14; James 1:15. To take in such teachings is to be deceived. Eve herself obtained this falsely-called knowledge (Gen 3:13; 1 Tim 6:20; James 3:15) which resulted in her death (Rom 5:12; Gen 2:17). (to get a more comprehensive understanding of Prov 4:18 , read Prov 4:10-19) The “new” apple looks perfect at first glance, until you take the time to examine it thoroughly and find the beginning evidence of decay. You have a choice not to eat rotten “fruit; in fact, Jesus expects you to examine all teachings by anointed ones. It is only men who expect you to gratefully accept their time-tested rotten offerings. 2 Cor 11:19,20; Rev 13:11,14-17 From what many of us have experienced, we realize the majority of Watchtower’s teachings are rotten to the “core” of its existence. If you have not done so, I hope you search for the list of failed dates of Armageddon’s arrival, which affected other time-table dates and doctrine associated with them, such as the meaning of “this generation”. 1 John 4:1 Can you imagine Jesus offering “fruit” with any source of disease or blemish to his listeners, while he was on the earth? James 3:17 He told his disciples: “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—FRUIT THAT WILL LAST—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” John 15:16 Would this be possible without the light of life from the Son? John 1:1,4;8:12 “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light— 9 for the fruit of the light consists of all goodness, righteousness, and truth - 10 testing what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 Don’t participate in the fruitless works of darkness, but instead expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to mention what is done by them in secret. Eph 5:8-12 JWs, would you say your leaders’ “fruit” concerning the many historical changes to “this generation” ripened in the light of Christ, or did each new version emerge from the same diseased bunch, harboring mold in some dark WT cellar? It is a fact that many fruitless, worthless teachings have been tossed out by the organization. Titus 1:15,16 Will there be more? The Bible states “Wormwood’s” waters contaminate true teachings and mislead many with a corrupted form of “nourishing food”. Heb 12:15; Rev 8:10,11;16:13 Please, put the pieces together; through my own experience, I perceived that what they offer you as “good fruit” is already riddled with disease, spawned in the dark recesses of evil men’s hearts. Isa 28:14,15,7,8; Eph 2:1-3 1 Tim 6:20,21: “Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding irreverent and empty speech and contradictions from what is falsely called knowledge. 21 By professing it, some people have departed from the faith.” 2 Thess 2:9,10: “The coming of the lawless one is based on Satan’s working, with all kinds of false miracles, signs, and wonders,10 and with every wicked deception among those who are perishing. You absolutely don't make sense. I gave you the link from the JW website that shows what Watchtower has taught about the Body of Christ - that it is comprised of the anointed ones. Today, in word, (maybe in print also) they teach differently than what they have written in their publications in the past. They speak out of both sides of their mouth and you are choosing their most recent LIE. Why would I chose to follow the GB's twisted path? Why do YOU? Their teachings are blaspheming the Holy Spirit. I'm sure this is because I refuse to obey them and their lies; lies not only about themselves, but about applying the teachings of Christ.
