Witness got a reaction from JOHN BUTLER in WHAT DID YOU LEARN THAT WAS NEW AT THE 2019 "LOVE NEVER FAILS" REGIONAL CONVENTION ?
    This is to all JWs.
Wouldn’t God expect a product of real truth from his anointed ones?   IF they remain in Christ, Jesus promised he would send the Helper who would tell them, “all things”, which would be truth.   What sort of “things” has the GB passed on to its followers?  John 14:26  “Beliefs Clarified”.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me.  John 15:5
Which means, without remaining in Christ, they cannot produce lasting fruit or teachings.  Without remaining in Christ, their teachings rot and need replacing.  Matt 7:17-20  This is the spiritual scene in the exalted  “Jehovah’s organization”, where the leaders suppress the knowledge of Christ and heighten the “knowledge” of 8 men.
When the nation of Israel did not follow the straight line God laid out for them, but wandered from, or rebelled against God’s decrees, choosing to exalt their idols over God,  they suffered; and not with just a slap on the hand. God removed His protection and lives were lost.  That was history in the making.
“Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. 7 And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.” 8 Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell; 9 nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents; 10 nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer. 11 Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. 1 Cor 10:6-11

Of course, you are somewhat jesting, but it is sad to say such things about the Almighty God, which lessens how important it is for all of us to adhere to His Word in Christ, and not those of men who stumble over their own lips.  Ps chapter 12, ends with, “and what is worthless ("vile", such as rotten fruit) is exalted by the human race”. The organization has the nerve to exalt their blunders - Beliefs Clarified, which is mind boggling.   I believe you are delusional, not alert to the history of God’s people when they fall into sin, or listen to lies.  Discarded teachings are lies, present teachings are lies.  Anymore, there are few of your teachings that are truth.  Rev 16:13,14
The organization’s entire existence is sin against Christ.  It challenges his word and his priesthood, with the words of men and their counterfeit priesthood.   It fulfills prophesy as the “man of lawlessness” that blasphemes God’s sanctuary/temple in the anointed ones.    Rev 13:1,2,10,18  Remember, they are told not to meet or study the Bible together.  They are threatened and restrained from any independent movement to pursue Truth on their own without risking all that encompasses their “life” in the organization. Rev 13:15
Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you They are leading you into futility; They speak a vision of their own imagination, Not from the mouth of the LORD.  Jer 23:16
There are so many examples of WT leaders speaking “a vision of their own imagination”, and yet JWs  keep listening to them.  We don’t “take what is offered”, but listen to Christ who said we would know those whom he would send, by their “fruit”, that would last.   Do JWs hear those words from the Bible?   WHO’S WORDS ARE MORE IMPORTANT, THE GB’S?  OR THOSE OF CHRIST?
Satan presented to Eve a “nourishing food” which contradicted the Word of God.  That lie/food brought death to her and Adam, and her seed.  Any teaching that obviously has been proven not to be from God, brings the same death upon those who create it and those who ingest it and call it truth!  Deut 18:19-22 There is nothing  illuminating or life-giving about it, but it holds an artificial light which Satan is fully capable of producing. 2 Cor 11:13-15  Any group of leaders who do this year after year consistently, did not radiate the light of Christ from day one, no matter what they use to convince you of it.  It is all…a delusion prophesied to occur during the last days, that grabs hold of the anointed ones and their companions. The delusion effectively covers over the presence of the “man of lawlessness”, which is the organization, where the unsealed anointed are not safe under the elder “Gentile” Body.  Matt 24:15; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1-3; 13:1,2,7; 9:1-4
Your words  “to learn to yield, cooperate, and get along with each other”, obviously originate with WT’s leaders.  Even swine wallowing in the mud can get along with each other.  However, to be Christ-like means to stand up for his pure word, separating ourselves from the historical muck of lies, even if we are persecuted for it.  Isa 52:11; Matt 5:10

2 Thess 2:9-12: “This man (man of lawlessness) will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles. 10 He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. 11 So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies. 12 Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil *rather than believing the truth.”
*This isn't WT's version of truth, but that of Christ's.
Do JWs enjoy being fools?  As the saying goes, 'fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me’.  Sadly, the majority apparently have no shame.
    Dead flies make a perfumer’s oil ferment and stink;
so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor.
2 A wise man’s heart goes to the right,
but a fool’s heart to the left.
3 Even when the fool walks along the road, his heart lacks sense,
and he shows everyone he is a fool.

5 There is an evil I have seen under the sun, an error proceeding from the presence of the ruler:
6 The fool is appointed to great heights, (GB)
but the rich remain in lowly positions. (the rest of the anointed under its rule)
7 I have seen slaves on horses,
but princes walking on the ground like slaves. (the trampling of God’s temple by a false priesthood who rules over the royal priesthood/Temple of God.  1 Cor 3:16,17; Rev 11:1-3  They are the true princes under the Prince/King of Peace,  not the elder body – Isa 9:6; Dan 12:1; Isa 49:24,25; Rev 19:16; 3:21; 5:9,10 )
12 The words from the mouth of a wise man are gracious,
but the lips of a fool consume him.
13 The beginning of the words of his mouth is folly,
but the end of his speaking is evil madness. (example, the evolution of “this generation”)
14 Yet the fool multiplies words.
No one knows what will happen,
and who can tell anyone what will happen after him?  Eccl chapter10
The Bible is full of the admonition to seek the wisdom of God.  Why would we settle for the folly of a fool?
A scoffer seeks wisdom and does not find it, but knowledge is easy to him who understands. Go from the presence of a foolish man, when you do not perceive in him the lips of knowledge. The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way, but the folly of fools is deceit. Fools mock at sin, but among the upright there is favor.   Prov 14:6-9
And yes, Jesus desires us to become, “perfect”, by listening to his wisdom. Matt 5:48 It is only men who continually remind you how imperfect you are, capturing you in a spiritual time capsule, and away from the wisdom of the Christ, that halts one’s growth to maturity in the Truth.  Rev 3:18  These men promise you perfection after Armageddon, when Christ promises it now.  John 6:27

Oh dear poor TTH is so mixed up in his head. In one of his previous comments he  mentions searching (for truth presumedly).
Quote " But if one gets the sense of verses such as 1 Peter 1:10 about diligent inquiries, careful searches, keep on investigating, or Matthew 24–“let the reader use discernment”—then it is true. If one is doing what Jesus says, “Keep on the watch” in light that is insufficient, then it happens. "
BUT JW's are told not to have their OWN OPINIONS. JW's are told to rely on the GB (who pretend to be the F&DS).  Sharing one's own opinions in a KH can get a person put on the 'watched list' and later lead to a person being D'fed for 'Causing division within the congregation'.   Tom will of course deny this, even though he knows it to be true.
It is so funny to me that JW's are encouraged to do personal Bible study, yet, not have their own opinion on scripture.
Quote " Paul says grab hold of the “real life” " . Ah but the GB says only grab hold of the 'life' they offer.
The Bible tells us to serve God through Christ. The GB tell congregants to serve them, to trust them as they are the (pretend) F&DS. The GB makes a false statement, that God and Jesus trust them.  The Pope could just as easy make that same statement.
QUOTE TTH "There is nothing wrong with the present leadership among Jehovah’s Witnesses."
If Tom really believes this then HE has a problem.

    @TrueTomHarley
How about lifesaving glass  of water in desert with few drops of dangerous substances in it ? :)) perhaps drops of purple color :))
Or, we can make agreement how nothing is wrong with previous WTJWORG "brighter lights". Because ...
If I understand you enough, here you sad how "previous light was not so good" and as result, your "keeping on the watch" turn out to be wrong because you saw lot of wrong things in poor light.
Well, does this mean how JHVH as Source of that Light, that was not enough Bright (that was not so good) should take a blame for that wrong understanding of His servant?
And how is possible that WTJWORG "spiritual food" represents "light that grows brighter" ? What is the cause here and what is the result?
Did published "spiritual food" caused "brighter light" for person to see better around him? Or "brighter light" caused publishing good "spiritual food" for person to better understand what is happening around him ?
But you bring right idea, how poor "previous light" was not Sufficient for  healthy "spiritual food" ... because Source of the Light for such Err, Not Perfect spiritual food was not in God or Jesus, but in Humans.
What purpose? To our conclusion how previous BS and JW generations died in false and err doctrines, hopes and beliefs? To our conclusion how present, current JW members will also die in false and err doctrines and hopes?? :))
Destroying bad food in shop store is not a ban. Destroying  published publications as evidence would be a crime. :)) But internet provide possibility to save material for searching and redefinition of WT doctrinal history.
Of course, current JW members, in general, have no time, no wish to read old publications and put effort to critical thinking on past and present teachings.

Since when would truth coming from God through Christ, which is spiritual food that imparts eternal life…have a “shelf life”?   John 14:6
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.”  John 15:16
What is received from God regarding spiritual knowledge is a “gift”.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”  James 1:17
The “fruit” produced by the apostles has lasted.  The teachings by all faithful anointed since, would be based on this lasting fruit.  The opening of the scrolls of Revelation is the culmination of this lasting fruit; enhanced, with nothing previously known to be discarded.
Yes, Watchtower’s spiritual food apparently has a shelf life, which is what JWs are accustom to.  If we apply the knowledge Christ gave us in the scriptures, we then realize…
    1.     The GB members are not appointed by God and Christ
    2.     Which makes them false “christs”/prophets
    3.     Who have deceived the “elect” in the last days.  Matt 24:24
If you believe that spiritual food was meant to have a temporary shelf life, then you are calling both God and Christ, liars.
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”  Matt 4:4
I would hope some JW would consider these scriptures the next time they hear that "Jehovah" is providing nourishing spiritual food through the "faithful and discreet slave".

About which part, Anna?  You wouldn't believe me anyway.  I should correct my use of “own”, with, they reap the benefits of Henrietta Riley Trust that works for the “General Support” of the Watchtower.  It has been presented to them on a platter.  You would be amazed at what “apostates” find, and what Watchtower quickly follows to cover up.

This organization benefits from the trust. It would be naïve to believe they have no input in the trust fund's movements.   They also have attended and invested in global hedge funds.
2017 tax return is not included, for some odd reason.

And yes, many JWs "preach" on facebook.  I'm sure they count their hours doing so.  I don't know what the big deal is about believing Lett has a page on facebook. Watchtower benefits from facebook stock.  How easily they accept the commercial world and its beneficial assets, just as easily as they shun someone who rejects the organization.  Such hypocrisy.

Yes, the same company WT owns shares in, where thousands of JWs preach on the organization's behalf, with many joining M. Stephen Lett's personal page.   The more shares WT can buy up, the more influence it will wield over that social media.  They are practicing damage control all over the internet, shutting down as many "apostates" they can.    Now, if they really possessed truth and God's Spirit, why worry what anyone would say about them, or against them?  Jesus didn't.  John 18:36  But, there's is an earthly kingdom, existing with the help of another spirit.  2 Cor 11:4; Rev 13:1,2 As much as I dislike FB, it is an effective way to establish a battle post of truth, against Watchtower lies. (Dan  11:33-35)  And, my "face" is not on there.  I'll keep WT guessing.    Only God's Word is to be elevated,  yet jw dot org, is apparently Watchtower's god of the internet, calling "new light", "present truth"...until their own damage control kicks in, with more "new light".    My, they have so much on their plate to keep up with.           ReplyForward

Perhaps 1914 have same significance as 1975. According to calculations made by JW Scholars those two dates means something to them. Maybe to JW Scholars of past time those dates was very important to them and JW members of those period.
It would be interesting to know what JW Scholars of present time thinking about 1914 and 1975 dates? Are those dates have real value for events they represent - 1914 as  end of one period and beginning of another, Kingdom rules and similar. 1975 as 6000 years of humankind on Earth ??!!
Or JW Scholars "rowing" to some new unknown island, where they will find new dates and new meanings for old dates.

Tom, how do you feel about 1914?  Do you realize your message is intertwined around that date?  Are you spreading the truth about God Kingdom to come, or a lie?   You believe the "day of the Lord" began in 1914, or do you?  The organization's leaders keep teaching it...as truth.  However, we know many of the higher-ups wanted to drop it over the years.   Yet, it's still there, dangling as a weak backbone, struggling to support your message.
Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters,  not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.  Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.  He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God. 2 Thess 2:3-4
Your elders have set themselves up in God's Temple, (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17), as a priesthood, proclaiming to be chosen by God's Holy Spirit.  THEY and the GB,  are responsible for the message you preach concerning  the prophesy of the "day of the Lord" as come in 1914.  Do you see that the organization fulfills this scripture?

They are not short, but shorter than the above post.  Maybe that fits the requirement.
The WT leaders have been cunning in revealing bits of truth over the years, but washing it clean away, with fresh lies.  I am referring to Habakkuk, his prophesy and the article I read, which I pointed out that the article doesn’t mention its fulfillment now.    In fact, all the prophets spoke of the Christ, and of the end times.  And what the prophets proclaimed to God’s people during their time period, rings true today. They are in harmony with Jesus’ words that are directed to the “elect” – the anointed ones.  Matt 24:24   God’s people haven’t escaped sin, but are wallowing in it.  It is naïve to think that an earthly organization that runs on Satanic fuel, (any and all resources available in this world) would bring protection to a people; when no other earthly organization in this world can do so. It is a concoction from the minds of men, beginning in the 1940’s.    Relying on it as a protection and way to salvation, is relying on an idol. It is what the fingers of men have made.  Isa 2:8  The apostles didn’t rely on an organization; no anointed one up until the early 1900's relied on an organization to preach and worship as Christ said it was to occur, in John 4:21-24.   Several times in the past God’s people claimed to worship Him, yet they also worshiped their idols, as do JWs today – “Jehovah and his organization”. However, many are aware of its problems.  Believing that God will fix what is broken is a misconception, but many JWs wholeheartedly are convinced of this, by their leaders.  Hos 8:1-6  God didn’t fix what was broken in the past, but removed His Holy Spirit, allowing them to suffer for their actions. Before doing so, He sent His prophets to warn them of what was to come upon them. He offered them His protection. Those that may have suffered but returned to the Father, He restored.  Always, it was the few who did so.

There is one last prophetic message to God’s people before the Kingdom arrives.  That is, to leave idolatry and the ignorance of God’s laws behind. It is, the awareness of the oppression and transgression of His people (the Temple of God, 1 Cor 3:16,17)  under a “Gentile” rule, the elder body.  2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1-3  The book of Revelation brings prophesies from all the books of the Bible together as a finished puzzle, revealing this last surge of deception on the “woman” New Covenant members, and their falling into sin because of it. Rev 12:15 This time, its appearance is not one easily detected, as perhaps one would look at a religion with obvious idols, and who do not follow the laws of God.  This time, it appears as “truth”, and the accomplishment of a great preaching work. 2 Thess 2:9-12   Yet, the violence (Hab 1:2-4)  and obvious betrayal of God’s decrees that otherwise might be apparent in the past, are now cloaked under falsehoods spoken with a smooth tongue. Prov 5:3   It is a captivity that Revelations speaks of, (Rev 13:10; Col 2:8) and a “conquering” of the anointed ones under a powerful rule that is directed by a false prophet – a “Hartlot”.   The organization deflects the meaning of Revelation to “Christendom” when it is pasted all over within it, evidence that God’s people are under a spiritual captivity to a Beast and a false prophet.  Rev 13:1,11; 20:7-9
God is warning His people, His potential “kings and priests of the earth”, (1 Pet 2:5,9; Rev 1:5; 5:9,10) and all of those with them, to “come out”.  Rev 18:4-8  His chosen people are not in Christendom, but are the “saints” gathered in the organization, where speaking against falsehoods causes them and their companions to be disfellowshipped, thrown out of the congregation and considered, dead.   John 16:2; Rev 13:5-7,15   It is prophesy being fulfilled.  That really is the bottom line.  1 Cor 10:12-14  The organization is not a lifeline to salvation, but a created idol.  God and Jesus Christ are, and always have been, our source of salvation.  Acts 4:12

This is second hand information, and I can't say it is "new".  Perhaps it is new in the way it is presented, especially under a convention entitled "Love Never Fails".    I was hoping you may shed some truth to it, since you are taking notes.
The "rumor" is, JWs are being told they shouldn't form an emotional attachment to their pets; that it is "foolish because they don't have feelings or emotions".
If it is true that the leaders of the WT have stated this, why would anyone trust anything else these men say about love?
"So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. 2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand. "  Gen 9:1,2

There isn’t a “group 2” in Jesus’ words, but an ongoing generated seed, either “born” of God’s Spirit, (Ps 112:2; 1 Pet 1:23; Phil 2:15)  or of the spirit of Satan.  Deut 32:5; John 8:44; Matt 12:39; Eph 2:2  Two generations of different fathers, have produced a seed and exist down to this day.  Gen 3:15
Jesus’ words about the temple being destroyed have another fulfillment today.  Another set of “stones”, “living stones” have been “thrown down” with a “Gentile” army trampling the Temple (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22; 2 Thess 2:1-4; Rev 11:1,2)…in the organization.
If this wasn’t true, then the prophesy of the Great Tribulation would not be applied to the last days.
    Luke 21:5-36
7 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees.30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.
32 “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
The kingdom of God didn’t arrive then, when that literal generation passed away.
2 Pet 3:7,12,13 - 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. (A “wicked generation”)
as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. (a “righteous/upright generation” Ps 112:2)  Rev 21:1,3; 1 Cor 3:16,17
“Fire” symbolized God’s Word which reveals lies and establishes truth, in the last days.  Jer 23:29; 5:14; Heb 1:7; Rev 11:1-3,5
Watchtower’s ongoing lie about “this generation” will be consumed by the fire of God’s Word. Isa 24:6; Hos 6:5; Matt 24:48,51; 2 Thess 1:8

Pearl Doxsey an anointed one, has written much about the meaning of "generation".  What one person, a woman, has done to reveal truth, eight men who stumble in the dark, will never accomplish.  God chooses the lowly, not the arrogant, to reveal His Word.  Ezek 21:25,26

Witness got a reaction from Srecko Sostar in What concept/concepts is behind the term "inspired"?
In the WT, anointed ones are being disfellowshipped for rejecting false teachings, which happen to come from men. John 16:2; Rev 13:15 They are disfellowshipped because they uphold Christ as their Head, and not men.   Pearl is a woman, and an anointed one, who was disfellowshipped for speaking truth. If I recognize that truth, what does that have to do with my validation as an anointed one when speaking and teaching what I've learned from Pearl?     In the anointed Body of Christ, arranged by GOD, "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Gal 3:28  All one in Christ, in teachings - in what the Holy Spirit provides.
Since your opinion is so similar to those who favor ruling over the anointed Body of Christ, I say -
"Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand" Rom 14:4
You have never been a member of the WT organization, from what I recall.  As the expression goes,  if you’re going to talk the talk, you’ve got to walk the walk.  Until you've experienced what it is to wake up to a lie and then realize you must leave it to follow in Christ's footsteps, your opinion on the anointed ones and their situation in the WT, holds no value with me whatsoever.
However, I thank you for linking to that conversation.  Perhaps others, will see truth.

You must be directing your comment to Jesus.Defender,  but I wanted to say something about  this part of your comment:
The “final test” that I believe you are referring to, is after a supposed 1,000 years of peace after Armageddon.  Have you ever found in the scriptures where this thousand year time period would be one of peace? Matt 10:34 The Watchtower states it is a time of judgment.  If that is so, what is the basis for judging a person under what would be a righteous rule, free from Satanic influence?   If peace reigns, will there be any chance of insurrection, or disobedience, or wickedness?
Watchtower 15/5/1 p. 16   I hope you read it carefully to perceive its contradictions.
Why will Judgment Day last a thousand years?
The dead will be raised during the thousand years. (Revelation 20:4, 12) They will need time to learn God’s ways and obey him. Contrary to popular opinion, the Bible shows that people will be judged on the basis of what they do after their resurrection.—Read Romans 6:7.
Rom 6:7 - For he who has died has been freed from sin.
So, Watchtower is saying that during this thousand year time period, people may start out sinless, but sin can happen, because “of what they do after their resurrection”, even though Satan isn’t around to entice them into sin until the “final test”.   As I contemplate this, it doesn’t sound like a peaceful reign to me.  Who could trust their neighbor if there is a chance they will disobey God?
Wt’s phrase: “people will need time to learn God’s ways and obey him”.  Of all the people that have lived on the earth, doesn’t God read the heart of each and every one of them? The resurrection is for those whose hearts are already “alive” by God’s standards, “fully committed” to serving Him.  2 Chron 16:9 They’ve already been tested by just living in this world where Satan is very intent on wanting to deceive them.   1 Pet 5:8
But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying, 32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.” Matt 22:31-32
Once we gain eternal life from God, it is eternal.  Otherwise, all of Christ’s promises to those who are obedient to him now, are nullified.  John 6:40; 7:38; 17:3; Matt 25:44-46  This includes both anointed and those not anointed.
Reading the surrounding scriptures give a different meaning to Rom 6:7:
For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Rom 6:5-11
WT’s version of the thousand years tells JWs that even though one might survive Armageddon, they can still become “slaves to sin”, and die.  Not according to Paul’s words.  “If we die with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him”.  It is true that this is how the anointed receive eternal life. Even while alive in the flesh, eternal death has no hold on those alive in Christ.  1 Cor 15:55  And it applies to the rest of God’s children in the Kingdom.   Tell me, is it fair for them to face two “Armageddons”, two “final tests”, while the anointed remnant are sealed in heaven?  Is it fair for those who also live according to Christ’s teachings and promises on this side of Armageddon's finish, to face one more final test when they also “die for Christ”?  Matt 16:25
Even though the WT says, “contrary to popular opinion” that people will be judged after the resurrection, it states:
The Bible also describes a day of judgment that will occur suddenly before the thousand years begin. That day is also called the end, as discussed in the cover articles of this issue. In that day, God will remove all ungodly, wicked people. (2 Peter 3:7) Therefore, we should take care to prove our love for God.—Read 2 Peter 3:9, 13.
The end to what?  To death? To wickedness? No, according to the organization.  Wickedness will still rear its ugly head a thousand years later (maybe sooner if people fall into sin through failing to learn obedience to God)
There are two things to notice about 2 Pet 3:9,13
2 Pet 3:9 – those who survive Armageddon have repented of their sins.  Their hearts have already been judged as righteous, as 2 Pet 3:13 explains.  What a cruel act of God it would be, to test a heart already found righteous and sinless, during, and at the end of a thousand years…after the Great Tribulation/Armageddon.  The amazing thing to me, is that this “thousand years” is deemed as one of peace, yet also one of severe scrutiny by God.
"The end" involves the appearance and ultimate destruction of a "false prophet" and the Beast/organization it directs. Rev 13:1,11 These entities are described also as "Gog and Magog".  In both places of Revelation, the "saints" are under their control.  Rev 13:5-7
Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea  Rev 20:7-9
Please notice what happens to the anointed ones, the “saints”, when Satan is released to deceive -
9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city.
This doesn’t occur after Armageddon, because by that time, the entire group of sealed “144,000 saints” are serving God in His “heavenly” Temple. (1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22) They would have conquered wickedness, and would be ruling as “kings and priests”…forever.  Rev 3:12;7:15;14:1; 5:9,10
But, as a JW, you would know this; although I am sure you haven’t focused on the results of Satan being “let loose” after a “thousand years”.  (Rev 20:9)
So, what is the battle all about?  You are seeing one side of it now.  It is the battle of truth against the deceitful lies that you now believe in.  The thousand years began in the first century. Jesus was ruling ‘ in the midst his enemies’ once he sat down at God’s right hand.  Ps 110:1,2; John 12:31,32; 1 Cor 15:24-27  Each day of that symbolic time period ( 2 Pet 3:8,9) was one of judgment for the anointed and believers in Christ, and is our “day of judgment”  now;  based on whether we choose to serve God and Christ, or men and their twisted antics with scripture.  The “thousand years” has ended; Satan was “let loose” to deceive the anointed who are presently surrounded within the walls of the Watchtower.  Matt 24:23,24; Thess 2:9-12 Rev 16:13,14 (the “kings of the earth” are the saints.  Rev 1:5)
Rev 16:13,14 speaks of the “kings of the earth”, who are the anointed ones/saints, gathered together by a false prophet and a Beast/organization (Gog and Magog) (Rev 13:12,11; 20:8,9) for the “battle of the great day of God the Almighty”.  Demonic expressions are used against them…and all JWs; one being the doctrine of when the thousand year reign of Christ actually occurred.
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (the chosen ones, 1 Pet 2:5,9)  Matt 24:24

Witness got a reaction from Srecko Sostar in How are we to understand the GB/Slave interpreting scripture, as the sole chanel, and at the same time accept that they can err?
    Jesus knew it was coming.
Now there was also a dispute among them, as to which of them should be considered the greatest. 25 And He said to them, “The kings (elder body) of the Gentiles (those not anointed) exercise lordship over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’ (GB)  26 But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves. 27 For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves.  Luke 22:24-27
    They are called "benefactors"
"Benefactors" - A title of honor, conferred on such as had done their country service, and upon princes, equivalent to Soter, Pater Patriae. ("Father of the Country")
I believe JWs will agree that the GB/"faithful and discreet slave" has done their "country service"; yet totally blind to their true identity as "dictators".

Witness got a reaction from BillyTheKid46 in WHAT DID YOU LEARN THAT WAS NEW AT THE 2019 "LOVE NEVER FAILS" REGIONAL CONVENTION ?
"  Gen 9:1,2
