Scientists say that the amount of severe earthquakes will likely increase sharply next year due to a regular decrease in earth rotation

Scientists have warned that there could be a huge increase in the number of devastating earthquakes around the world next year. They believe that changes in the speed of rotation of the earth could trigger intense seismic activity, particularly in densely populated tropical regions.

Although such fluctuations in rotation are small, changing the duration of the day in a millisecond, they may be involved in the release of large amounts of underground energy, it is argued.
In his study, bilham and bendick observed earthquakes of magnitude 7 and greater that occurred since 1900. "Major Earthquakes Have recorded well for more than a century and that gives us a good record to study", said said .

I do not know what "scientists" have predicted this... but it is absolutely false, about which I could expound for a week.

We may HAVE more earthquakes ... BUT NOT FOR THE REASON STATED.

The true value of Education is to know when you are being fooled, and being made a fool of.

PLEASE BROTHERS .... Educate yourself  so you recognize such nonsense, if for no other reason than to not be the ignorant laughing stock of the world!

It breaks my heart to see such things repeated in good faith, and colossal ignorance.

You can argue ANYTHING ... but unless it is based on a correct  understanding of reality ... the arguments will be WRONG.

Our Moon pulls the oceans around the Earth as tides, and it puts the same stresses on non fluid materials, like dirt and rock .... with trillions of times more force than  the slowing of the earth ... which incidentally is caused by those same stresses from the Moon ... it is friction from tidal forces that is slowing down the Earth, and every year the Moon picks up that energy and gets further away from the Earth by 1.5 inches. This is actually measured by laser reflectors stationed on the Moon's surface.

The Earth slowing down causes NO STRESS AT ALL .... the energy is absorbed by the Moon's orbit.
