Denise Yvonne Mueller, Janesville, WI

Denise Yvonne Mueller, 42, of Janesville, WI, passed away on the morning of Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Agrace Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Janesville, WI, after a determined and courageous fight with cancer. She was born on Sept. 4, 1973, in Racine, WI, the daughter of Robert and Sally (Richtmyre) Baran. She graduated from William Horlick High School in 1991, before spending four years in the full-time preaching work. She later attended and graduated from The Soma Institute, The National School of Clinical Massage Therapy of Chicago, IL, in 2003, with a specialty and love for pregnancy and labor massage. This love led her to also become a birth doula in 2007. The role she loved most however, was that of mother to two beautiful daughters. Denise was an incredible mother and wife. Her constant concern was the safety, well-being and happiness of her family. She was kind, generous, self-sacrificing and completely beautiful inside and out. Denise symbolized her dedication to her God, Jehovah, by being baptized on May 20, 1989, at the Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Janesville, WI. She attended the Creston Park Congregation in Janesville, after marrying the love of her life, Joshua Mueller, in 2008, and was a constant presence and encouragement to others. Her positive attitude and smile which were always present before her sickness, never left her. They are still remembered by those who knew her, along with her faith, as her most notable and amazing features. Her faith in God’s promise of a future earth without sickness or death was unbreakable.

Denise is survived by her devoted husband, Joshua; daughters, Emlyn Finley Patience and Elyn Skylar Hope; parents, Robert and Sally; sisters: Laina (Beau) Sutton of Burleson, TX, Melissa (Rick) Freeze of Racine, WI, Rebekah (Nathan) Spatz of Fort Worth, TX; along with four nieces and nephews.

Memorial arrangements will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at the ASSEMBLY HALL OF JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES located at 207 S. Wright Road, Janesville, WI. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., with the memorial service at 7 p.m. and a photo slideshow at 7:30 pm.

The family wishes to give a sincere “thank you” to the staff of Agrace Center for Hospice and Palliative Care for their incredibly loving care of Denise in her final days.
