The instructions come from the Word of God (and will not come from a divine inspiration) so it is important to study the Bible to understand what we must do when approaching the Armageddon War.
But many of us believe they have understood everything and are not allowed to discuss or look.

Good point. I wonder why this wasn't used as an example rather than Isaiah? I guess because we apply it to getting out of false religion and keep ourselves without spot from the world. But my main dispute really is that this is being used in a kind of foreboding way as a reason everyone should be obedient and cooperate with the Slave now.

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from Noble Berean in Message to the modern spiritual drunkards
"Delay, and be stunned; be blinded, and be blinded. They are intoxicated, but not with wine; they moved unsteadily, but not because of intoxicating liquor" - Isaiah 29: 9     The so-called "masters of the Law" despised the common people and certainly does not put to argue with the first passing on the Word of God. Indeed, anyone who tried, even indirectly, would run the serious dangers - compares John 9: 30-34 Apart from a few happy exceptions, they were the ones who had "sat in Moses' seat" and therefore thought to possess the Truth - Matthew 23: 1 According to their traditions and their own interpretation of the Scriptures , only they were allowed to understand and explain the Word of God. We can imagine that if a hypothetical Israelite had asked, "What does the Scripture say about this?" He would receive a reply like, "What do the Pharisees? Did you ask one of them?". Let us, in our small way, to immerse ourselves in the environment and in the period. When the Lord Jesus Christ began his work of witnessing clashed many times with these "teachers of the Law." It is true that the Lord had a great authority and was certainly the wisest person ever existed, but if we focus on this means that we have not understood the point.   Is coming "northern." Who is awake enough to notice?   The Lord, in his speeches, he often used the expression "it is written" - compare Matthew 4: 4, 7, 10; 11:10; 21:13; 26:24, 31; Mark 7: 6; 9:12, 13; Luke 10:26; 20:17; 22:37; 00:46; John 6:45; 8:17; 10:34 And 'indisputable that the Lord, because of your position, could boast of the freedom for which it was not required to comply with all the precepts of the Law nor the human tradition - compare Matthew 12: 8; 17:25, 26 We also know that Jesus came to fulfill the Law that could, rightfully, add or specify commands to those already written in the law, in fact, many times he said, "but I tell you" - Compare Matthew 5:27, 28 Christians, in fact, thanks to the One who delivered them, do not live under the Law. However, every time he said "it is written" was like saying "I say so, says the Word of God" - compares John 5:31, 32 So to understand the point, let's try for a moment to forget that Jesus was the Son of God. Imagine that the last of the Israelites, perhaps even the poorest and the worst, in any of his speeches clearly said "it is written" in the likeness of the Lord. Would it matter? - 2 Corinthians 3: 4, 5 Of course we should see if the references are correct, and even if the explanation of a particular writing is correct because this person would certainly not the Son of God , and would not even inspired. It could be wrong, as happens to all human beings. Definitely could not afford to add one point to what is written, let alone say a kind of "sentence but I tell you ..." - compares Galatians 1: 8, 9 Surely his words should be examined in the light of the Scriptures as certain people are allowed to do even with Paul - Acts 17:11 Having established that what was said by the last of the Israelites actually "written", would change something if he were the poorest, the worst and maybe even the least intelligent of the nation? - 1 Samuel 16: 7 In the choir each of us would answer "Do not change anything ... because it is the Word of God that counts." But it would be just words. We try to make an honest self-criticism. When the Bible speaks of judgment, punishment and reprimands always apply other. This blog has reconsidered many interpretations and the article entitled "We are staggering like drunks?" He has highlighted the logical reasons and Scriptural that what Joel wrote against backsliding Israel, may not apply to Christendom. Obviously the article has tried to show that the punishment he is about to fall on the people of God and not on Christianity is something written. In practice it is written. What should a Christian, especially those who have positions of responsibility but without exception, to see "if this is so"? The answer should be simple enough. You should take the Bible and seek references and applications carefully assessing if the argument presented is correct or has errors. After all, as we said, there might be too large errors. This little blog has never claimed divine inspiration; on the contrary, it is born in order to "pay attention to the prophecy." As we saw in "the last Jew", he might well have misapplied the Scriptures. In good faith (and this will only know the Almighty God) you may have simply wrong. What should a Christian in this regard? - Acts 18:26 You should always refute through the scriptures and received, all together, to a better understanding of the Truth - Ephesians 4: 11-13 This would demonstrate love and genuine interest in the truth. He would demonstrate even love for the one who is wrong - Galatians 6: 1 But what happens in reality? It happens that "you are not the Faithful and Discreet Slave" and then you are not allowed to study the Bible on your own (or better: you are allowed to study the Bible on your own until you go against the official intention). You are not "guided by the Holy Spirit" so you can not truly understand God's Word - Proverbs 2: 1-6; 2 Corinthians 13: 5; 1 Thessalonians 5:21 We are the People of God and that is enough, no? - Isaiah 28:15 In our minds we are all of Tyndale or Bruno as well as in elementary school we were all Galilei once learned of vulgar ignorance of the church. The reality, though, could be quite different - compares John 16: 2; Matthew 7:22, 23 We cringe reading of narrow-mindedness and arrogance of the scribes and Pharisees, but, apparently, history repeats itself - compares Romans 2:21 and Hebrews 3: 16-19 If we had not become the modern scribes and Pharisees (including those who are simply afraid of exposing themselves, like Nicodemus) we would not have any fear of deepening certain teachings. Even if these teachings were the supreme organ. If the apostle Paul could be contested (at least potentially), who is "the faithful and discreet slave," which also acknowledged that not be the faithful and discreet slave until Christ will not come as executioner? * (See footnote) If the Bereans had found "something wrong" in the words of Paul, it would be called "Only he can understand and explain the scriptures and then just accept it" or they contested with the Scriptures themselves? And the apostle Paul, unlike anyone else, was really inspired. But today if you compare the scriptures and bring out something that goes against the official understanding you are not considered a noble mind and do not get some praise. On the contrary, the risks of being "out of the synagogue." Equally significant is the attitude of the individual brothers, "aware" included, which reinforce this policy with their laxity. Some of these even cite Tyndale as a symbol of their "battle" ... unless But really learn who he was and understand what Tyndale challenged. Maybe Tyndale challenged the "bureaucracy" of the church, individuals and not the official teachings? Well they look, some conscious, from discussing Tyndale challenged various official beliefs including the fact that Christ was not God, and other important things. Today, modern Tyndale (those who believe themselves such) discuss reforms on "contributions", the lack of transparency of the sales of the buildings, on the single "theocratic cowboys" ... Woe to discuss a formal understanding. Moreover, as we said, we are the others to have to do research and determine what to believe. A teacher of the Law may also say something that is not written but everyone else, not teachers of the Law, will not be heard even if what they say is written - Matthew 15: 3 Perhaps it would be useful to reflect that, although those who have become masters will receive a more severe judgment, judgment will always be individual - Romans 14:10 Try to wake up, drunkards. Do not worry about who writes what. If you had love for the Word of God you would care to see if what has been written is really written - Amos 3: 2; John 17:17     Footnote: See the study articles in The Watchtower of July 15, 2013

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from Melinda Mills in Are our expectations are in harmony with God's Word?
We are now very close to the great tribulation!
A brother of the betel was concluding his speech when he made the following comment: " Be intensely busy with the word of God," I would like listening very carefully. We who are in Betel we are privileged to work with the faithful and discreet slave and with the body of directors and I wish know you how he feels the body of directors about the time we live now in this system of things.
The faithful slave feels that it is already happened to the Matthew 24:14 prophecy: "quest for good news the kingdom's be preached in all the inhabited earth."
What does the party later this word? He says that ... then the end will come.
He knew you that there are only three countries in the world where there are no Jehovah's Witnesses?
    ONLY 3 countries!
Somalia, North Korea and Afghanistan ...
This does not mean that there does not reach the in our literature to but just that there are not Jehovah's Witnesses. I had mentioned earlier to some friends and they wanted to know why there are no Jehovah's Witnesses in these countries. I 'll tell you the reason.
Jehovah does not send his people to any place where he knows that van there! * (See footnote)
But in these three countries the good news have already been published (I guess it refers to the fact that literature is still available).
Matthew 14, Luke 21, Mark 13, as well as Revelation 6: these words are ending (?)
So what is the biblical prophecy that still has to fulfill?
    You know what?
    The read for you.
See Revelation 17: 15-17 - (read the prophecy)
The faithful slave is waiting for the day Jehovah will put this thought into their hearts.
This is the next prophecy that must be fulfilled. For those who know what it means, this will cause the great tribulation.
Once this is fulfilled , the door will be closed (in a spiritual sense).
Whatever thing you did, you can not go back.
"I could have done this or that if I had more time."
    Now is the time!
How will you spend the time you stay?
For what are you working or are you committed ?
    - in higher education?
    - you are struggling to get more money and material goods?
    - you are engaged in the distractions of the world?
Or are you undertake to favor the kingdom.?
We do things urgently, we try to be quick! (Story running on facebook between of various witnesses of Jehovah accounts)
I want to point out that the aforementioned text is the translation of the translation of a translation and then of specific phrases may have been distorted sense. Apart from that, however, the general sense of the discourse is clear. Assuming that they are not the ravings of some overzealous brother (which still brings out what they believe, more or less openly, many Jehovah's Witnesses), the meaning is as follows. The prophecies have almost all been fulfilled.
    The preaching was completed.
We are just waiting for the fall of Babylon the Great.
Our expectations are really in harmony with God's Word?   That's it? Some brother more in later years and with a good memory will recall that statements like these (views from different angles) have already been made in the past. Without wishing to be too argumentative, beyond the past mistakes, it is clear that sooner or later you have to get to the point where it will begin the great tribulation, will fall Babylon the Great, and you will enter the Millennial Kingdom. The fact we were wrong in the past, more than once, this in itself does not prove that you're wrong again. Could it really be so and definitely not wrong to keep alive the sense of urgency - compare Matthew 24:42; Revelation 16:15 Beyond, however, the "hint" that each of us can have, the only thing we should do is search the scriptures to try to understand "what extent we are old" in reference to biblical prophecy. It is true: if we take the writing of Matthew 24:14 and we make an analysis of the presence of our brothers in the world, probably we would come to the same conclusion of the aforesaid brother in the introduction of this article (always assuming that the report is credible). The question, however, end here? Being such an important subject, it would be no need to also examine other scriptures to see if you dial a credible framework or if "something is not right"? Moreover, as the same "slave" has admitted, they are not inspired and therefore we would like to build on something more than a simple "I want you to know how you feel the governing body about the time we live in." The Bible is not "imperfect spiritual food", does not lend itself to corrections or rewards, does not change with time and definitely do not mind - John 17:17; Romans 3: 4; James 1:17; Titus 1: 2 Obviously you are not suggesting that the interpretations of this blog are infallible; far from it. You simply want to emphasize that the Bible is always to have the last word and so we must look for answers there, not in our desires or people that we value - Matthew 4: 4 Some do not even accept the possibility that even those who are taking the lead can go wrong (as if they were human beings). For some to question the statement "slave" is an indication of lack of respect and submission but this is a myopic view of the situation. We know that many times the people of God fed wrong expectations about the future and about the will of God - compares Isaiah 28: 14-19 They were the people of God but this, in itself, did not guarantee the protection and the priests themselves, more often, showed a complete ignorance of the Scriptures - John 3:10 This also happened with good intentions and the best people - compares 1 Samuel 16: 7 Considering the biblical past, trying to see what the Bible says to beyond the proclamation and to everyone who comes , is not it the best? - 1 Thessalonians 5:21; Romans 15: 4; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 The Lord Jesus Christ himself, the one who was the wisest of all men , and that he could speak of his own initiative, not perhaps did the same? - Matthew 4: 4-10 Questioning certain statements (not for bias, of course) is not a lack of respect towards the index "slave"; on the contrary, it shows profound respect for the one true authority of God's Word - Psalm 31: 5; Acts 17:11 Let us examine the claim that the prophecies would almost all be fulfilled, and we just have to wait the fall of Babylon the Great. The officer says that understanding God's Kingdom was established in heaven in 1914, by 1918 the heavens were purified, in 1919 the heavenly resurrection began (as well as the purification of the people of God) and so on. Perhaps there is some error in this generalization also because of the constant "adjustments" (adjustments that change the periods of a few months, ever the concepts) but roughly this is what you believe.

In this article you will see just how the logic and writing can corroborate or invalidate these ideas. The official explanation identifies the slaughtered head of death Revelation 13: 3 as the Anglo-American empire. It is true that the book that lists this explanation (the Revelation Its Grand Climax) has now been withdrawn but there is nothing new on the horizon that, until there is a different explanation, this is the ultimate understanding accepted. As we saw this explanation is problematic because the Anglo-American empire, according to official explanations, is the "king of the South" described in the Bible book of Daniel. However in Daniel is the king of the north to win the last war, and so it is obvious that something is not right - Daniel 11: 40-45 Of course we can not say that Daniel and Revelation contradict, does not it? To focus with Daniel Revelation there are only two possibilities. Or the Anglo-American empire is actually the king of the north ** (see note below) or head slaughtered to death that you see in Revelation can not be the Anglo-American empire. Does not it seem logical reasoning? How can the Anglo-American empire (and be the king of the south) if Daniele does understand that the last ruling king, or what will be defeated by Michele, is the king of the north? In Revelation we do not see another political power that defeats the beast that ascends from the sea. After the Great War (which can also have multiple stages), do not talk about other human wars in Revelation, right? - 1 Thessalonians 5: 3 The last war we are talking about and who participates in this beast is against the God Almighty - Revelation 16: 10-14, 16 The conclusion is logical. Apart from the fact that the end will come when the preaching has reached "all the inhabited earth" before this you will see the clash between the king of the north and the king of the south. And must win the king of the north, of course. In the last World War he has probably won the king of the north as well as to assert that "we just have to wait over the fall of Babylon the Great"? Absolutely no. The last king of the north was the Third Reich and, during the battle against the king of the south (the Anglo-American empire, in fact) it came out defeated. This is a prophecy that still has not been fulfilled and it is more than enough to establish that it is not enough that the preaching arrivals in these last three remaining countries. Among other things, the writing of Matthew 24:14 does not give any basis for determining how long the good news has to take place in a given country in order to receive adequate testimony. If tomorrow our brothers  they come in those nations and begin to preach ... how much time would pass until God considered adequate and sufficiently complete that testimony? The answer is simple: we do not know . However, although that has yet to burst the war between the king of the north and king of the south, it is conceivable that in the meantime there are other prophecies that have to be fulfilled or are being fulfilled, is not it? As we have seen in several previous articles before the war should emerge a certain persecution of brothers (you have tribulation, but is not yet the great tribulation ) because the king of the north must start to suppress the daily sacrifice (the preaching work ) until you get to completely suppress it - see Daniel 8: 10-12, 24, 25 In our recent past, the preaching work was perhaps suppressed completely, which it did by means of the king of the north? According to the prophecy, and this must be done only during the last years of the scheme of things it must have a last impulse - compares Revelation 10:11; 14: 6, 7 E 'at this point that the preaching work will reach the ends of the earth, and this will happen very quickly - Zechariah 4: 6 The total suppression of preaching did not happen even during the Second World War and certainly did not happen in all countries; Also this leaves well understand that it is a prophecy to come. There is much more to say but the above should be sufficient, even for those who disagree with the explanations of this blog, to reflect that the Great, "you can not expect only the fall of" Babylon. Who has respect for the Bible itself to be shaped by it. Of course what has been said does not want to show that the end will come "who knows when." In contrast, recent international events suggest that we are far ahead in the end time  All the events described above will occur in a very short time so when we can really begin to come to "raise high head" - Luke 21:28 Those who have lifted up their heads in 1914 all died with a stiff neck but when these things begin to take place (such as the war between the king of the north and king of the south) we can do it peacefully because of this incident until the actual fall of Babylon the Great (which will not be the world empire of false religion ) will spend a maximum of ten years. So us ensure that our expectations are in harmony with the Word of God not to be disappointed - Isaiah 28:16 Us ensure that our expectations are in harmony with the Word of God to be prepared for what's to come and not discouraged - 2 Peter 1:19; Proverbs 24:10 Us ensure that our expectations are in harmony with the Word of God, ultimately, for our lives - Matthew 7:24, 25     The Bible traces the path. It will not lead to disappointment.   Footnote. * The translation was not very clear. ** From previous articles we saw that the Anglo-American empire is indeed the king of the south.

You too can not be objective.
the watch tower is the instrument and not the ultimate end of worship.
The tool is useful for achieving a goal (in this case, understanding the Bible).
If the instrument becomes worshiped then we can no longer understand it.
The Bible encourages digging and looking personally - Proverbs 2: 1-5
Biblical prophecy makes us understand that God will punish his people for being idolatrous.
This may be true or it may be false.
How can we do it to understand it?
    Studying the Bible.
The Bible is the only authority (try to re-establish it: the Bible is the only authority).
This instrument (the watchtower) has abided by the Bible many times, but sometimes it has used personalities and human ideas above the Bible (1975 is an example and there are others).
    Who should I obey?
    To the Bible.
Now you will say, "The Bible says we must listen to some men"
I say, "No, it is not so"
    How can we establish it?
    Studying the Bible.
Prophecy says that a certain "guide" will become dead because some have put people above the Word of God.
This may be true or it may be false.
    How can we establish it?
    Studying the Bible.
You are convinced that you should not "discuss" the intentions of certain people, is not it?
I tell you that the Bible, and only the Bible, has the last word.
You might find that the Bible teaches some things you do not expect.
    What can I tell you?
    Wait and see what's happening - Joel 1: 1-8

    Dear TrueTomHareley,
I think you did not understand the point or maybe I did not explain it well.
Humility is well accepted and, as you rightly said, it is appreciated that the GB has admitted some mistakes.
The problem I have highlighted is that some have become idolaters, if you can not question an understanding, even if you do it with the scriptures, it means that you consider certain people above the Word of God.
Instead, since they admit that they are not inspired (and this is to be praised), you should also be able to discuss some doctrines and prophecies.
Instead, among the brothers there is the mentality that "you can not do it" because only the others have the permission of God.
Only others can have the understanding of the Word of God and if you say that it is not true and assert that it is not scriptural, it is a risk of dissociation.
For example, the GB says that the discipline we are talking about has already happened in 1919 but if I say "it is not true" and I try to argue in the light of the scriptures, what is my risk?
If you talk about so many things, what's the risk?
This is one of the reasons why we will be disciplined (not the only reason) because we have not paid attention to the Word of God.
There have been personalities and there are still.
I know the GB encourages you to study and meditate but you can not say anything that goes against their intentions even if they have changed it dozens of times.
    This is a fact.
A person who wants to argue on certain intentions does not necessarily want to create a sect or a division.
A person who recovers the intentions of 1914 is not necessarily an apostate.
If I, in conscience, understood through the Bible that certain prophecies were badly interpreted (and I would like to remember that understanding a prophecy can mean death) what should I do?
The Bible, to give you an example, predicted that the preaching work would be suppressed by the king of the north (Russia) but the GB never said anything.
    So should I be silent?
The Bible has foreseen that the prohibition will extend throughout the inhabited land (and hence the hopes of Brother Sanderson are miserable) and so I, who is right or wrong, should I be silent?
We must pay attention to the Bible, not to the people.
This also applies to those who "can not be questioned"
My total loyalty goes to the Word of God, not to a group of people or even to a building.
No one wants to insult or degrade anyone, but each of us should be adult enough and mature to study God's Word personally and also admit the possibility that some things that have been taught are wrong.
and these "some things" can also be vital things

Since they have greatly facilitated the preaching work into all the inhabited earth, perhaps God will go easier on them than you think.
Plus, by reading and meditating on the Word daily, and reflecting upon how things turn out, there is no reason to think they do not allow their Bible study to adequately discipline themselves. All of us need discipline, and we all mostly get it through this means.
I think that you are at your best when you use your talents to focus upon your first remarks. Especially since you would never have discovered these things without their efforts and that of their forerunners.

"... and Jerusalem shall be trodden by the nations, until the set times of the Gentiles are fulfilled" - Luke 21:24 (TNM) "Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled" (CEI) "Jerusalem will be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled" (New International Version) "Jerusalem will be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled" (New Living Translation)
The "appointed times of the nations" are another topic that many Jehovah's Witnesses are struggling to be self-critical because of the connections more or less induced in relation to the "seven times" of Daniel chapter 4. In the rare cases in which they had a chance to re-examine the application of Nebuchadnezzar's dream, you would probably have an answer like ... "Jesus also spoke of the appointed times of the nations!" The "inherent logic" would be ... "As Jesus mentioned the appointed times of the nations, the interpretation of the seven times of Daniel chapter four is correct." This statement is reasonable? Before answering this question we start with the skim any objections on translation. Is it correct to translate "appointed times", as does the New World Translation, or should have been translated simply "time" as the majority of the other translations? The author of this article is not a greek expert or Jewish, but we will see how the Bible, alone , can effectively respond to this question. We can do a search and see how the book Insight, for example, explains that "kairos greek noun (pl. Kairoi) ... according to a dictionary," means a fixed or defined period of time, a season, sometimes a time necessary or appropriate to the season "(Insight volume 1," set times of the nations ") and all this can be acceptable as it is also possible that other dictionaries give different meanings with as many logical and convincing explanations. Who is right? It is that the problem with human wisdom: everything is almost always the opposite of everything and is the majority to decide what is true and what is not. Obviously conscientious research experts deserve respect and a "truth" conquered with effort and discipline is certainly more valuable than a "truth" simply taken or prepared by others. We Christians, however, we have something more than human wisdom. We have the Word of God and if something "is not clear" what is simply because it did not arrive on time or have not studied or meditated enough about this work extraordinary. That the more correct translation is "times" or "appointed times" has absolutely no importance because it is obvious that the time is fixed or predetermined. The nations, as we know them today, are governing by Satan and demons - see John 12:31; Daniel 10:20 To think that the time given to Satan to act is not fixed, that is predetermined, it would say that he could have acted undisturbed for as long as he wanted. It is absolutely logical that if Satan challenged God's right to rule mankind and the fidelity of the same human beings, God has given him the time determined to prove his accusation. Unlike Satan might say, and continue indefinitely to say "Give me more time ...". In fact it is the one who will try to do, until the last moment, with its latest beast of nationalism - Compare Daniel 7:25 The context of Luke 21:24 speaks of the destruction of Jerusalem and says it will be "trampled on by the nations until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled" and also the term "finished" means that there was something predetermined. The same term, "accomplished," is used by the Lord at the time of his death recorded in John 19:30. What was accomplished? They had fulfilled all the prophecies concerning Himself and His death accomplished, or fully accomplished, his assignment - Matthew 20:28 All this was predicted many years before, and in fact people reflexive and scholars of the Hebrew Scriptures could recognize who was the real reason of this Messiah. In the same way the "times of the nations" are accomplished in the moment in which exhaust their time, which, evidently, is determined. If the purists of the ancient greek is more properly translated "times" or "appointed times," we let them argue. We are interested in the Bible's message. Of course the real "issue" that many would like to pull out after this diatribe is to try to understand whether translating "appointed times" we have wanted, somehow, to create a link with Daniel chapter four. In practice, one wonders if the translation want to tell Jesus what he says is not that ... "Jerusalem will be trampled on by the nations until the appointed times of escritti in Daniel chapter 4 are fulfilled." Again we can say that the question does not concern us because it is always in the Bible that we must look for the answer. If the Bible had actually explained that the seven days of the tree referred to the time given to the nations to take action before the coming of the Kingdom of God, then we could also discuss whether in Luke Chapter 21 Jesus made a parallel with those scriptures or not, but since Daniel chapter four absolutely not talk about this , the matter dies at birth. What Jesus said, "times" or "appointed times," he could not, however, refer to Daniel chapter four.   These were due premises. Now let's see what the Lord wanted to say and when and how to fulfill his words. Meanwhile it is correct to conclude that the words of Jesus are not limited to the time of the destruction of Jerusalem to the nations, after 70 CE, continued to act coming to the present day. Their time, therefore, has not yet been accomplished. So we have to understand the two parties involved in this statement: Jerusalem and the nations. For the first subject we have a problem. Who is "Jerusalem"? And 'the literal city, which not surprisingly there again in the end time, or is it God's people as a whole? Many would say "it is the people of God," but the answer is not so obvious, and for various reasons. One of these is that when Jerusalem was trodden down until you get to the destruction presumably there were no Christians. So the destruction of Jerusalem not only came upon a literal city, but did not involve Christians absolutely (if we take it for granted that they listened to the warnings given by Christ over thirty years earlier) - Luke 21:20, 21 On the other hand, if the literal Jerusalem, one should ask why, today, a city that should not have more nothing "sacred" rivestirebbe so important in Jesus' words. Well, the answer may surprise us. The appointed times of the nations end up at the beginning of Armageddon because that is the time you will be destroyed. Only then they will have outlived their time. If we read Revelation, in fact, we note that there is a time difference from when Jesus comes to power when, in fact, begins his war - Compare Revelation 11:15 and Revelation 19:19. 20 When Jesus takes power nations have not yet run out of time to act and this is clearly seen from everything that happens from Chapter 13 onwards. This makes us understand that it is wrong to associate the term of the "appointed time of nations" in the presence of Christ. As we saw in a previous article, since Jesus actually takes the power until the start of Armageddon have yet to spend three and a half years (see the article entitled "1290 and 1335 days") - see Revelation 11: 2; 13: 1-5 This is also in keeping with the words of Daniel speaks of this "king" who will try to change times and the law but they the "be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time" - Daniel 7:25 In practice will only forty-two months, really a short period of time to act - also see Revelation 24:12 If the appointed times of the nations ending at Armageddon and not the presence of Christ, then we must take the book Revelation and see what the actors involved and what happens in the vicinity of Armageddon. We know it is God's people to be trampled savagely until the last moment of the satanic system. This is accomplished through the last dominant empire, described as one of the heads slaughtered to death that lives, which blasphemes God, His Name, His abode and those who dwell in heaven and makes war against the saints and overcomes them - Revelation 13 : 3-7 At the end of these forty-two months granted to the beast, time runs out and starts Armageddon - Revelation 19:19, 20 Jesus referred to this incident when he said that Jerusalem would be trampled on by the nations "until the appointed times of the nations were not made"? No, and we understand why if we identify other possible person involved in the matter. We have said that talking about Jerusalem, we might refer to the literal city. What other subject and which event, as in Revelation, heralds the beginning of Armageddon? If we just read what is written in chronological order, the answer should be obvious: the destruction of Babylon the Great. In several previous articles we discussed again the identity of Babylon the Great coming to the nation of Israel (which includes Jerusalem, of course).   If Babylon the Great is, therefore, Israel, in what sense was trampled on by the nations from 70 CE until now? As we have seen in Article dedicated to Babylon, he reborn Israel not for God but for the political intrigues of nations. Although his "rebirth" was well received by the world's religions as the return of the true Israel, it is a sham. The founders of this new Israel did not give honor to God (many of them are not even believers), most do not appreciate the God of the Bible, but they replaced it with their traditions (cf. Matthew 15: 6). They sought refuge and protection in the nations of this world. Of the Israel remained the only geographical territory but the people who make up this nation form actually a modern Babylon. In addition, the "founding" nations and the United Nations as a whole continue to trample this nation with their military installations * (see footnote) We can therefore say that the literal city of Jerusalem, as well as all of Israel, is currently trampled on by the nations of the world. How long will be trampled? Until its destruction , of course - Revelation 17:16 It 'true that this destructive action is accomplished by the United Nations (ie part of the occupants) but remember that this event, after the period of weeping and mourning hypocrites rulers of the world, will mark the beginning of Armageddon. From that moment on, no one can step on Jerusalem. Clearly, at this point, we have to stop for a moment. If Israel is Babylon the Great, it is clear that it should not have any positive meaning in his description (at the bottom of Babylon has always been the greatest enemy of God's people) yet Jesus, the basic writing of this article, mentions this event as if it was the liberation of Jerusalem. It is as if to say ... "Jerusalem will be trampled on by the nations until at some point ... but then, finally, will no longer be trampled." It becomes easier to understand this expression if we understand that the nation chosen by God to His people still has its importance. A nation, understood as a geographical territory, per se has no merit nor guilt. So it is not the geographical territory to be condemned but people who live in that territory. The nation of Israel was rejected as a people , because of their heart condition, but the land flowing with "milk and honey" is still the country chosen by Jehovah God for His People - Exodus 3: 8 The mountain is still the Adornment mountain, even in the time of the end, because chosen by God - Compare Daniel 11:45 The people who occupy that territory are no longer the people of God (and since they have become squatters denied) but the territory chosen by God was still God's chosen. We should think that from the moment the land chosen by God and was later usurped by another people, God will destroy the people and also the permanently territory? The destruction of Babylon is final in the sense that there will never be more people with these characteristics to occupy the camp of the saints - Compare Revelation 19: 3 with Ezekiel 38:17, 18 Obviously this does not mean at all that this place will never be inhabited - Compare Ezekiel 38:12 Jerusalem, then, and all of Israel will again be inhabited by the true people of God, the people who appreciated the privilege by producing the fruits, people who at that time will be gathered from four ends of the earth - Isaiah 11:11, 12 So it is no coincidence that the persecution of God's people, the real one, their terms to coincide with the destruction of Babylon the Great. When nations have exhausted their time, which includes both the trampling of Jerusalem that persecution, that Armageddon will destroy this beast, and all compact peoples in the fight against the Lamb. At that time Jerusalem will have been liberated and the people of God, after the required period spent in the "inner rooms", will head to the country that is still part of the promise and where soon begin again to flow with milk and honey - Isaiah 26: 20 By connecting properly to the scriptures, we realize wonderful How long this prophecy and what was diminished in an attempt to demonstrate an unprovable date? God will lead us to the Promised Land, yet promising, as there is no longer any trace of Babylon the Great, and even of all those who, over time, this nation have trampled with impunity - Exodus 3: 8; Malachi 3: 6; Isaiah 55:10, 11 Only those who understand the prophecy properly can hope to be among those who will be prepared to reach it - Isaiah 11: 11, 12; 1 Corinthians 14: 8-11 we will be among those gathered "from the four corners of the earth"?   Footnote *: Apart from the fact that the modern nation of Israel was founded in 1948, the original territory was still trampled from 70 CE until today. Using the word "until" Jesus leaves well understand that this trampling would have no respite, and so it is not correct to say that Jerusalem was trampled by his "re-foundation" precisely in 1948 until today. Whatever people has settled in the territory of the original Israel (Jerusalem) over the past 2000 years, was no longer the people chosen by God and therefore we can say that the territory was trampled and desecrated by Gentiles.

Israeli Bar Avaddhon got a reaction from DespicableME in Chronology, interpretation, speculation
The chronology, interpretation, speculation   CAUTION The following discussion make reference to one of the "cornerstones" of the understanding of the "faithful and discreet slave". Since the author is not going to create a stumbling block for anyone, let alone create divisions, the reader is invited to consider carefully whether you want to read on. Continue or not to continue, therefore, it will only be a personal decision. An even better thing that we could do all: open the Bible and compare all the scriptures quoted or cited and evaluate, in conscience, whether its topics are logical and consistent with the Word of God         All you have read about the prophecy of the "seventy weeks" reported in the book "Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy!" (Chapter 11) is worthy of attention and shows how the word of God is accurate and reliable even when ruling prophecies very distant in time. And 'historical accuracy was also evident and numerous scriptural references that gave weight and credibility to the whole matter. Anyone who approaches the Word of God without preconceptions can not help but be impressed by this demonstration of the power and wisdom from God. The explanation of the 70 weeks is beyond reproach, but can the same be said of other prophecies? What about those calculations on which many of us have based their hopes of a lifetime and who clashed with criticism of the majority? We are talking of 1914. This is also a prophecy of Daniel? This too was treated with the same wonderful accuracy of the seventy weeks we just read? Although it may not be easy, we try to be very objective because they understand or not understand the prophecy, like the rest of God's Word, can make a big difference for our eternal future - John 17: 3; 2 Thessalonians 1: 8   SAY THAT OF 1914?   The book "pay attention to the prophecies of Daniel" on pages 85 to 97 (italian edition) explains in detail the dream of Nebuchadnezzar and the prophecy of the seven times asserting it indicates the coming of God's Kingdom in 1914.
It would be profitable, therefore, take the book and compare with what you will read below.
The dream of Nebuchadnezzar actually prophesies the coming of God's Kingdom in 1914?   THAT'S IT'? Let's examine what is written in the book without bias. At first glance it seems that Jehovah God has wanted to give a lesson in humility to Nebuchadnezzar, which he did. The "seven times", at least for him, was seven years and this is confirmed by the whole story. Reading all this without bias, it does not seem that we have to look for other explanations more or less hidden. But let's take this argument that "the tree indicates a domain and a much more sovereign than the king of Babylon. It symbolizes the universal sovereignty of Jehovah, the King of heaven, especially with respect to the earth. " This means, first, that the Kingdom of God you are comparing, in a way, to the kingdom of Babylon and this contrasts with many biblical passages that describe Babylon as the greatest enemy of God's people. It also means that the "vigilante" (that is, an angel of the Lord) decides to overthrow the Kingdom of God and this is, to say the least, strange. Some will object that we should not look for similarities in every aspect of the prophecy but also to decide which part of the prophecy must have a second commitment and which not could be quite arbitrary. Basically we have no other scriptures that indicate there on what particular focus and which leave out. So you're saying that the tree prophecy applies entirely to Nebuchadnezzar, while only a small part would apply to the Kingdom of God. For the prophecy of the "seventy weeks," we did not need to break up the prophecy to try to understand who is applied or if they apply to more than one person because the subject was clear and very beginning. The whole prophecy of 7 times, however, is built on a single verse that is what it says ... " The tree grew and became strong, and its height it finally reached the heavens and was visible to the extremity of ' whole earth " (Daniel 4:11) The mentioned book says: "the big tree is the 'domain that reaches the ends of the earth', which embraces the whole kingdom of mankind. Therefore symbolizes Jehovah's universal sovereignty, particularly in relation to the earth. - Daniel 4:17. " There is a bit fragile, say risky, build a series of prophecies (all linked together) of this single explanation? Note that the specification "particularly in relation to the earth" is due to the fact that Jehovah's universal sovereignty is, in fact, universal, so the tree would have seen not only in all the earth but in the whole universe. By specifying, however, "in relation to the earth," we can rule the skies by the vision and take in the good application. However, we should ask ourselves a question. The fact that the tree reaches the heavens or the ends of the earth is a demonstration or even an indication that we are talking about God's Kingdom? We always leave it to the Bible to enlighten us. We notice what Jehovah said to Ezekiel in reference to Pharaoh. Ezekiel 31: 1-8 says ... "It occurred even in the eleventh year, in the third [month], the first [day] of the month, the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying:" Son of man, of 'Pharaoh king of Egypt and his crowd: " ' To look like in your greatness? Here, an Assyrian, a cedar of Lebanon, with beautiful branches, with thick shady ramifications, and a high height, so that its top was among the clouds. The waters made it grow; for the deep made him become high. With their current they went all around his plants; and sent their channels to all the trees of the field. So there was higher in height than all the [other] trees of the field. " ' And its boughs were multiplied, and its branches continued getting longer because of much water in its watercourses. Sui its branches made their nests all the flying creatures of the heavens, and under its twigs bore all the wild beasts of the field, and in its shadow dwelt all populous nations. It became beautiful in its greatness, in the length of its foliage, for its root system was on many waters. [Other] cedars not equalize in the garden of God. As for juniper trees, they had no resemblance to its branches. And the plane trees were not the same like the twigs. No [other] tree of God like him in beauty garden. " We note some similarities with the vision of Nebuchadnezzar? Both are compared to high and mighty trees. Both reach heights up to heaven in fact the expressions "reach the heavens" or "reach the clouds" are equivalent - Compare Job 22:14; Isaiah 14:14; Daniel 7:13 Of both of you notice the big difference with other trees. In both it is said that all the flying creatures and all the wild animals find food and shelter. Now, if we apply the principle that the tree that "reaches the clouds" must represent the Kingdom of God, then even the Egyptian empire should be an antitype of the Kingdom. Unfortunately, this story does not make any mention of "time" and therefore can not count anything. If you think it's ridiculous to think that the Egyptian empire will represent the Kingdom of God, why should it be acceptable to the Babylonian empire?   Jehovah goes on to say "For the reason that you became high height, so that it put its top even among the clouds, and his heart is exalted because of its height, I will give it into the hand of a despot of the nations" - Ezekiel 31:10, 11 The Pharaoh exalted, just as He did Nebuchadnezzar, and for this reason God decided to humiliate him - Matthew 23:12 Nebuchadnezzar escaped with seven years of madness while the Pharaoh's empire was besieged. This verse also emphasizes the fact that God takes away and "the kingdom to those who want" (and in this case he gave the kingdom to Pharaoh "despot of the nations"). Ezekiel 31: 12-14 continues ... "And strangers, the tyrants of the nations, cut it, and the people will abandon the mountains; and its foliage will certainly fall in every valley, and his branches will break between all the beds of the rivers of the earth. And all the peoples of the earth will come down from its shade and abandon. On its fallen trunk reside all the flying creatures of heaven, and its branches will certainly be all the wild beasts of the field; so that none of the watered trees may become high in height, or put her top even among the clouds, and because no drinking water is standing against them in his height, certainly as will all the data to death, to the earth below, in among the children of mankind, those who go down into the pit. ' " Although this tree is cut down and humiliated (Jehovah will do this through the king of Babylon). Because of the many similarities to the kingdom of Egypt, are we really sure that the tree "reached the heavens" refers to God's Kingdom?
When we have to discuss  the 1914, we really like the Bereans? Or are we "Berean" only when we must refute the doctrines of Christianity?   There is another interesting detail which should give us pause. The Bible compares heaven to governments, be they human or celestial. Applying this concept to the tree that reaches the heavens and where other trees can not compete with it, would simply mean that this tree has a kingdom over other kingdoms (smaller) and Babylon the Great is said, in fact, who " a kingdom over the kings of the earth "- Revelation 17:18 The only legitimate parallel that you can do with Babylon, without fear of taking corners, is related to Babylon the Great because it is the parallelism that makes the Bible. In fact all the world empires mentioned in the Scriptures have had, for a time, a kingdom over other kingdoms. Cyrus claimed that he himself ... " I am Cyrus, king of the world, great king, legitimate king, king of Babylon, king of Sumer and Akkad, king of the four end (of the earth), son of Cambyses ( Ka-am -bu-zi-ia ), great king, king of Anshan, grandson of Cyrus . . . descendant of Teispe,. . . of a family (which) has always reigned. " ( Ancient Near Eastern Texts, edited by J. Pritchard, 1974, p. 316) Surely humility was not a feature appreciated by the Persians as even by the Babylonians but in fact the kingdom had power over other known kingdoms ( much to be called " king of the four ends of the earth") and then you could well say that its height he had reached the heavens and was visible or known to the ends of the earth. In the story of Ezekiel and that of Daniel there is no reference, no one, to the Kingdom of God but ... both reports mention a judgment from God on enemy nations, proud and violent. Any chronological calculation should respect the subject and in fact this part of Scripture is quite different from what is said about the "seventy weeks" - Daniel 9: 24-27 In the account of Daniel chapter 9 clearly speaks of the Messiah (see Daniel 9:25) and do not need to read what is not written. Anyone wishing to be controversial might discuss the starting date from which to count the "weeks" or even the alleged method * (one day for a year) but it certainly can not discuss the subject in existence (the Messiah). It could, ironically, even argue about who really was the Messiah (something which still discussing the Jews) but of course you can not argue that Daniel chapter 9 speaks of the Messiah! Instead Daniel chapter 4 speaks of Nebuchadnezzar and his kingdom, while all "the intention" for the Kingdom of God is built on four lines in the book "Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy!" Read: "But the big tree is the domain that reaches the ends of the earth, which embraces the whole kingdom of mankind. Therefore symbolizes Jehovah's universal sovereignty, particularly in relation to the earth. - Daniel 4:17 "(Chapter 6, page 87 of the book Italian edition). It does not seem very strong statement with a very weak base? We try not to say to Daniel 4:17 that does not really say because you just know the basic rules of grammar not to distract from the subject. The subject is Nebuchadnezzar and God makes him understand that, due to the fact that he is exalted, would have removed the kingdom and would give it to whomever He had wanted (just as He did with Pharaoh). In practice, one who really governs is the Creator and the other kingdoms exist only because He allows it - Compare Romans 13: 1 So there is no reason to believe that the tree (that is, one of the many governments that Jehovah has allowed in the history of mankind), represents the Kingdom of God really is. If someone wants to suggest that the fact that God mentions His domain is indicative that the tree itself depicts your domain (and it's amazing stunt semantics) then we can take the story reported in 2 Kings 19: 14-19 and do the same reasoning. " Hezekiah then the letters from the hand of the messengers and read them, after which Hezekiah went up to the house of Jehovah and spread out before Jehovah. 15 And Hezekiah prayed before Jehovah and said: "O Jehovah, God of Israel, enthroned upon the cherubim, you alone are the [true] God of all the kingdoms of the earth . You yourself have made the heavens and the earth. 16 Incline your ear, O Jehovah, and hear. Open your eyes, O Jehovah, and see, and hear the words of Sennacherib which he has sent to blame the living God. 17 It is a fact, O Jehovah, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their country. 18 And they delivered their gods to the fire, because they were not gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone; so that they destroyed them. 19?And now, O Jehovah our God, save us, please, from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth know that you alone, O LORD, are God . " Hezekiah knows very well that Jehovah was "the true God of all the kingdoms of the earth" and prayed that Sennacherib were stopped in his attempt to destroy Jerusalem. We know very well what was the response of Isaiah that last part says ... "Why is your turn you against me and your roaring have come up to my ears. I certainly put my hook nose and my bridle between your lips, And actually I take you back to the way by which you came "- 2 Kings 19:28 If we did the same reasoning alleged to chapter 4 of Daniel, then we could assume that the "Sennacherib" kingdom was a antitype of God's kingdom because he also had to learn (at his expense) that Jehovah is "the true God of all the kingdoms of the earth "or, in other words" rules over all mankind. " Alas, in this story there are no numbers, days, weeks or months to be calculated and therefore no reason to read "coming of the kingdom of God" even where it makes no mention. It 'possible that the strong desire to see fulfilled the prophecies influenced the intentions and then had driven to read what was really written? This means that, if we really want to see a second commitment to the story reported in Daniel chapter 4, you should respect the subject into being , namely Babylon . It is likely that the story of Daniel is simply telling the humiliation of Nebuchadnezzar and that the "seven times" mean only seven years, but we can not be categorical. In this regard it is worth reflecting on the fact that even the humiliation of Pharaoh, reported in Ezekiel, could have a second commitment as Jehovah says it "will shake the nations" and this could be a reference to the war of Armageddon. So, without staring too much of a specified date , if the story of Daniel had wanted to show us a second fulfillment of the prophecy, the report is actually saying, "Babylon will fall, it will remain inactive for seven days and then rise again." This can only bring our minds to the last mention that the Bible makes of Babylon - Revelation 17: 5 The clues regarding Babylon the Great took us to the nation of Israel so the question you should ask is ... "Since that year we should start counting 2520 years (ie 360 * 7) until you see the revival (if any) of Babylon? " From the story of Daniel the possible dates from which to count the seven periods of time are two: 1) Since Nebuchadnezzar had the vision or has fallen into "disgrace" (in fact, Daniel says "the tree is you" - Daniel 4: 20-22) 2) From the death of Nebuchadnezzar (if Nebuchadnezzar represents the kingdom of Babylon, his death is the moment in which the tree is "knocked down" but it is noteworthy that there is no reference to this in Daniel's narrative which, indeed, he says that the kingdom would have been assured - Daniel 4:26)   As for the first hypothesis it is impossible to have an accurate date because neither the Bible nor secular history tell us in what year Nebuchadnezzar was driven from his kingdom. This happened, of course, after 597 BCE (the year in which Nebuchadnezzar brings the first Jews prisoners in Babylon in accordance with the secular dating; there is a 20-year difference with that of the slave that, in fact, puts the BCE 617) and within the 570 BCE (when Nebuchadnezzar died in 562 BCE - according to the secular date - and the period of "captivity" lasts seven years, and the kingdom he is returned are deemed to have reigned for at least a year, the 570 is the last year helpful). However, in the first four chapters of Daniel are mentioned Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, first as children (Daniel 1: 3, 4) and then as strong men (Daniel 3:12, 27) and all this before Nebuchadnezzar to buckle the famous dream tree . This means that, by their deportation until the day in which the king erected the golden image, they passed at least 15 , 20 years. So if the Jews have come to Babylon in 597 BCE, but spend 20 twenty years before the construction of the idol of gold and having good outlet to the secular date (562 BCE), you can restrict the period from 577 BCE to 570 BCE Obviously they are only estimates but the important date is the maximum time limit (570 BCE) so if from deportation until the construction of the image had been 15 years instead of 20, the start date would be 582 BCE, but the last date useful as possible would always be 570 BCE Any revival of Babylon, if this is talking about Daniel, which is far from certain, would take place between 1943 EV (2520-577) and 1950 EV (2520-570). To reinforce this hypothesis there would also be the fact that the story of his expulsion is the last tale told Nebuchadnezzar. A few verses later, in fact, we no longer speak of him but of Belshazzar (Daniel ch. 5). It's reasonable to conclude, therefore, that Nebuchadnezzar had a vision in recent years, perhaps during the last decade of his reign.   The second hypothesis concerns Nebuchadnezzar's death and which occurs, according to the secular sources, in 562 BCE According to the slave is the case in 582 BCE (see the book "Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy" chapter 7, page 99). Counting 2,520 years you get to 1958 EV in the first case and 1938 EV in the second case.   What about the recent history? If, as we have seen, Babylon the Great is the nation of Israel, this would indeed support the first hypothesis. The first hypothesis places the revival of Babylon between 1943 and 1950. The "resurrection" of Israel takes place, in fact, in May 1948. Knowing the fixation of human beings for dates and calculations, however, it is prudent to pay attention to more important things. The secular dates can not be safe, based on findings and comparisons more or less incomplete, and certainly we can not base our faith on this one - 2 Corinthians 5: 7 What would happen if the 597 BCE, as well as 607 or 537 or any other date on which we have based much of Bible prophecy (not that there was a real reason to do it) tomorrow will prove completely wrong? The consequences could be very serious and not only from a human point of view - Amos 3: 1, 2 We must not take for granted Jehovah's mercy we must be cautious in our statements. Since we have no certainty that the "seven times" does not depict just seven years, we should not get bogged down in these speculations. The most important thing is not perhaps understanding the identity of Babylon the Great? This is a crucial aspect of the prophecy because they are clues to guide us in the subjects and in the times we are living like road signs, and not the calculations - Compare Matthew 00:32, 33 and 2 Timothy 3: 1-5 and make a contrast with Matthew 24:36 There is no time stamp for the killing of two witnesses in sackcloth (see Revelation ch. 11), but we know that they are revealed at the end of the war. We know that the city called "Sodom and Egypt" is Babylon the Great, then Israel, and therefore we also know what country and what events to look carefully . What the Bible actually prophesies the year of his "resurrection" or not, it is certainly interesting but not essential for those who believe, it really is the inspired Word of God. Fundamental, if anything, will be "out of it" when the UN will prepare to destroy it.     * However, the Bible confirms the method "a day for a year" and also that this was the same method used by the people of God - Ezekiel 4: 6; Luke 3:15   For more information https://attenzioneallaprofezia.blogspot.it/

Yes, I agree with you that, JW Insider, there are many ways to understand that between paurusia and synteleia passes for a certain amount of time and that is not the same thing.
There are many scriptures that make this and not only Revelation (however Revelation should be more than enough).
Obviously I disagree on 1914 and not even on the concept of "overlapping generation" but this is another matter.
Beyond the interpretations, the Bible makes it clear that the seventh trumpet is really "the seventh", that sounds after the sixth, fifth, and so on.
To skim any doubt and every interpretation, we see that Paul identifies the last trumpet (that is, that concerning spiritual resurrection) as "the last" - 1 Corinthians 15:52
So if the last trumpet is really the last one, how is this sound in 1914 while the sixth plays in 1922, the fifth in 1919 and so on?
There are a thousand ways to refute the current official chronology and Revelation is one of these thousand

An even more interesting question should be: if the man of illegality is the clergy of Christianity, it should be the main part of Babylon the Great, is not it?
How is the man of iniquity destroyed by the spirit of the mouth of Christ (hence directly from Christ) while Babylon the Great is destroyed by the United Nations? Writing says that God (not Christ) will put in the hearts of these kings to carry out his thinking of destroying Babylon the Great.
It puts the thought (God, not Christ) but God does not destroy it directly.
Instead, the man of iniquity will be destroyed by the spirit of the mouth of Christ

Israeli Bar Avaddhon reacted to JW Insider in 607 B.C.E. - Is it Biblically Supported?
Yes. A 70 year period that ended in 539 would have to have started around 609. And this is a pretty good match for when Babylonian power reared its head over Assyria. The capital of Nineveh fell in 612 and Babylon took advantage and became the next world power. 609 was the year that Josiah died. Josiah was considered by many Jews to be the next potential Messiah, a king like David.
In fact, notice that 609 is exactly the year that the Watch Tower publications point to (indirectly) when it speaks of the end of the Assyrian empire. (Remember that the WTS arbitrarily adds 20 years to every date prior to 587 B.C.E., so that 607 B.C.E.is actually 587 B.C.E., and therefore 629 B.C.E. is actually 609 B.C.E.)
    *** it-1 p. 205 Assyria ***
According to the same chronicle, in the 14th year of Nabopolassar (632 B.C.E.), Ashur-uballit II attempted to continue Assyrian rule from Haran as his capital city. This chronicle states, under the 17th year of Nabopolassar (629 B.C.E.): “In the month Duʼuzu, Ashur-uballit, king of Assyria, (and) a large [army of] E[gy]pt [who had come to his aid] crossed the river (Euphrates) and [marched on] to conquer Harran.” (Ancient Near Eastern Texts, p. 305; brackets and parentheses theirs.) Actually, Ashur-uballit was trying to reconquer it after having been driven out. This record is in harmony with the account relative to the activity of Pharaoh Nechoh recorded at 2 Kings 23:29, which activity resulted in the death of King Josiah of Judah (c. 629 B.C.E.). This text states that “Pharaoh Nechoh the king of Egypt came up to the king of Assyria by the river Euphrates”—evidently to help him. “The king of Assyria” to whom Nechoh came may well have been Ashur-uballit II. Their campaign against Haran did not succeed. The Assyrian Empire had ended. So this is an excellent match for the 70 years of Babylonian domination from 609 to 539, spoken about by Jeremiah:
(Jeremiah 25:11, 12) 11 And all this land will be reduced to ruins and will become an object of horror, and these nations will have to serve the king of Babylon for 70 years.”’ 12 “‘But when 70 years have been fulfilled, I will call to account the king of Babylon and that nation for their error,’ . . . Just as the Watch Tower publications have explained it in the "Isaiah's Prophecy" book:
    *** ip-1 chap. 19 p. 253 par. 21 Jehovah Profanes the Pride of Tyre ***
“These nations will have to serve the king of Babylon seventy years.” (Jeremiah 25:8-17, 22, 27) . . . Evidently, the 70 years represents the period of Babylonia’s greatest domination—when the Babylonian royal dynasty boasts of having lifted its throne even above “the stars of God.” (Isaiah 14:13) Different nations come under that domination at different times. But at the end of 70 years, that domination will crumble.
So that is ONE period of 70 years that started in 609 and ended in 539.
The Bible, in the book of Zechariah, also mentions another period of 70 years that starts around 587 (destruction of Jerusalem) or even 588 when the siege began, and ends around 518. Since it's been so many months I'll repeat some portions of the post you referred to, where this was explained:
------- the remainder of this post copied from a previous post (JWI: 4/14/2017) above -------
(Zechariah 1:12) . . .“O Jehovah of armies, how long will you withhold your mercy from Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, with whom you have been indignant these 70 years?”
(Zechariah 7:5) . . .‘When you fasted and wailed in the fifth month and in the seventh month for 70 years. . .
(Zechariah 8:19) . . .‘The fast of the fourth month, the fast of the fifth month, the fast of the seventh month, and the fast of the tenth month will be occasions for exultation and joy for the house of Judah. . .
    *** w96 11/15 p. 5 Does God Require Fasting? ***
For example, at one time the people of Judah had four annual fasts to commemorate the calamitous events associated with Jerusalem’s siege and desolation in the seventh century B.C.E. (2 Kings 25:1-4, 8, 9, 22-26; Zechariah 8:19)
According to our current understanding of the chronology that includes the supposed destruction of Jerusalem in 607 BCE, then this produces a contradiction, because we date the book of Zechariah as follows:
*** nwt p. 1662 Table of the Books of the Bible ***
    Zechariah
    Jerusalem rebuilt
    518
    520-518 [BCE]
If Jerusalem was destroyed in 587 BCE, then 518 BCE is 69 years later, and therefore matches Zechariah's theme of 70 years of withheld mercy and indignities, and wailing and fasting over Jerusalem, which is now being rebuilt.
If Jerusalem had been destroyed in 607 BCE, then by Zechariah's time, in 518 BCE, it would have been 89 years of wailing and fasting.
Neither date is "Biblical" and neither date should really matter that much, but it is curious that 607 BCE is totally impossible from the perspective of secular evidence, and it becomes very difficult from the perspective of Biblical evidence. Yet 587 BCE is totally supported from the perspective of secular evidence and provides an excellent match to the Biblical evidence. There should really be no reason why we are not rejoicing that secular, historical, archaeological evidence for 587 BCE once again shows the Bible to be accurate and sound from a historical perspective.

Israeli Bar Avaddhon reacted to JW Insider in 1290 and 1335 days
I have not yet tried to completely decipher the method and reasoning that @Israeli Bar Avaddhon used in order to reach his current conclusions about these time periods. I apologize for that, but I don't think it hurts us to try to imagine what we would have come up with on our own, if it were not for the foundation already provided by the Watch Tower publications. This is also a method that can provide us with a bit of sympathy and empathy for those we meet who have tried to understand these difficult problems for themselves.
This can provide a kind of thought experiment that might even let us second-guess what the Watch Tower Society might come up with as an alternative in the event that the current view is changed. I don't claim that there is any real value in this, but it is "fun" when you get it right. I think several people here have had that experience.
So, let's pretend that we either have never heard of the current Watch Tower's view or we are just wondering what a "second-best" alternative view might have been to compare how much better, for example, the current Watch Tower's view is.
For these time periods, of 1290 and 1335 days, I think we have to start with the 1260 days. All three of these periods are named in the same chapter of Daniel. And only the 1,260 is also named in several other places to be mentioned at the end of this post.
As a starting method, I prefer to use the following as a foundation:
(2 Timothy 3:16-17) 16 All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work. It is implied here that we should not need to rely at all on secular historians, but that the Bible itself equips us with enough information to be fully equipped to teach and set things straight on this and any other Bible-based subject. We should note that Paul was most likely speaking of only the "Old Testament" here, as very little of the "New Testament" had been collected or even written during Paul's association with Timothy. The book of Daniel, in fact, had not been considered to be an inspired part of the canon by all Jewish leaders, either. Some still don't accept it, even if they accept all the other books of the "Old Testament." Unless it is found to contradict the remaining parts of the Bible canon, however, we can accept it as canonical. (Some portions of Daniel are considered canonical by some religions and not by others. For example, most Protestant Christians do not accept the inclusion of the following portions of (additions to) Daniel:  Song of the Three Holy Children, Susanna, and Bel and the Dragon.
Revelation is another book that required decades of of discussion before a consensus was reached that it could be included in the canon. It was one of the last books to be generally accepted, although 2 Peter and Jude might have also been considered questionable in some circles for just as long.
So, to start, let's look at all the places that mention the 1,260 days and the equivalent references to periods of "three and one-half times" or "[one] time, [two] times, and half a time," or 3 years and six months." The 1,290 and 1,335 also refer to a very similar time period with an additional 30 days and 75 days. (3 yrs, 7 mos; 3 yrs 8.5 mos.)
(Luke 4:22-30) . . .And they all began to give favorable witness about him and to be amazed at the gracious words coming out of his mouth, and they were saying: “This is a son of Joseph, is it not?” 23 At this he said to them: “No doubt you will apply this saying to me, ‘Physician, cure yourself. Do also here in your home territory the things we have heard were done in Ca·perʹna·um.’” 24 So he said: “Truly I tell you that no prophet is accepted in his home territory. 25 For instance, I tell you in truth: There were many widows in Israel in the days of E·liʹjah when heaven was shut up for three years and six months, and a great famine came on all the land. 26 Yet E·liʹjah was sent to none of those women, but only to a widow in Zarʹe·phath in the land of Siʹdon. 27 Also, there were many lepers in Israel in the time of E·liʹsha the prophet; yet not one of them was cleansed, only Naʹa·man the Syrian.” 28 Now all those hearing these things in the synagogue became filled with anger, 29 and they rose up and rushed him outside the city, and they led him to the brow of the mountain on which their city had been built, in order to throw him down headlong. 30 But he went right through their midst and continued on his way. (1 Kings 18:1, 2) 18 After some time, in the third year, Jehovah’s word came to E·liʹjah, saying: “Go, present yourself to Aʹhab, and I will send rain on the surface of the ground.” 2 So E·liʹjah went to present himself to Aʹhab, while the famine was severe in Sa·marʹi·a. (James 5:15-20) 15 And the prayer of faith will make the sick one well, and Jehovah will raise him up. Also, if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore, openly confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. A righteous man’s supplication has a powerful effect. 17 E·liʹjah was a man with feelings like ours, and yet when he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 Then he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain and the land produced fruit. 19 My brothers, if anyone among you is led astray from the truth and another turns him back, 20 know that whoever turns a sinner back from the error of his way will save him from death. . . (Revelation 11:1-7) . . .“Get up and measure the temple sanctuary of God and the altar and those worshipping in it. 2 But as for the courtyard that is outside the temple sanctuary, leave it out and do not measure it, because it has been given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city underfoot for 42 months. 3 I will cause my two witnesses to prophesy for 1,260 days dressed in sackcloth.” 4 These are symbolized by the two olive trees and the two lampstands and are standing before the Lord of the earth. 5 If anyone wants to harm them, fire comes out of their mouths and consumes their enemies. If anyone should want to harm them, this is how he must be killed. 6 These have the authority to shut up the sky so that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have authority over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every sort of plague as often as they wish. 7 When they have finished their witnessing, the wild beast that ascends out of the abyss will wage war with them and conquer them and kill them. (Revelation 13:3-10) 3 I saw that one of its heads seemed to have been fatally wounded, but its mortal wound had been healed, and all the earth followed the wild beast with admiration. 4 And they worshipped the dragon because it gave the authority to the wild beast, and they worshipped the wild beast with the words: “Who is like the wild beast, and who can do battle with it?” 5 It was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and it was given authority to act for 42 months. 6 And it opened its mouth in blasphemies against God to blaspheme his name and his dwelling place, even those residing in heaven. 7 It was permitted to wage war with the holy ones and conquer them, and it was given authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. 8 And all those who dwell on the earth will worship it. From the founding of the world, not one of their names has been written in the scroll of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 If anyone is meant for captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed with the sword. This is where it calls for endurance and faith on the part of the holy ones. (Revelation 12:11-17) 11 And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. 12 On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time.” 13 Now when the dragon saw that it had been hurled down to the earth, it persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child. 14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is to be fed for a time and times and half a time away from the face of the serpent. 15 And the serpent spewed out water like a river from its mouth after the woman, to cause her to be drowned by the river. 16 But the earth came to the woman’s help, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river that the dragon spewed out from its mouth. 17 So the dragon became enraged at the woman and went off to wage war with the remaining ones of her offspring, who observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness concerning Jesus. (Daniel 7:22-27) . . .and the appointed time arrived for the holy ones to take possession of the kingdom. 23 “This is what he said: ‘As for the fourth beast, there is a fourth kingdom that will come to be on the earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms, and it will devour all the earth and will trample it down and crush it. 24 As for the ten horns, ten kings will rise up out of that kingdom; and still another one will rise up after them, and he will be different from the first ones, and he will humiliate three kings. 25 He will speak words against the Most High, and he will continually harass the holy ones of the Supreme One. He will intend to change times and law, and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time. 26 But the Court sat, and they took away his rulership, in order to annihilate him and to destroy him completely. 27 “‘And the kingdom and the rulership and the grandeur of the kingdoms under all the heavens were given to the people who are the holy ones of the Supreme One. Their kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. . . (Daniel 9:25-27) 25 You should know and understand that from the issuing of the word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until Mes·siʹah the Leader, there will be 7 weeks, also 62 weeks. She will be restored and rebuilt, with a public square and moat, but in times of distress. 26 “And after the 62 weeks, Mes·siʹah will be cut off, with nothing for himself. “And the people of a leader who is coming will destroy the city and the holy place. And its end will be by the flood. And until the end there will be war; what is decided upon is desolations. 27 “And he will keep the covenant in force for the many for one week; and at the half of the week, he will cause sacrifice and gift offering to cease. “And on the wing of disgusting things there will be the one causing desolation; and until an extermination, what was decided on will be poured out also on the one lying desolate.” (Daniel 12:5-13) . . .Then I, Daniel, looked and saw two others standing there, one on this bank of the stream and one on the other bank of the stream. 6 Then one said to the man clothed in linen, who was up above the waters of the stream: “How long will it be to the end of these marvelous things?” 7 Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was up above the waters of the stream, as he raised his right hand and his left hand to the heavens and swore by the One who is alive forever: “It will be for an appointed time, appointed times, and half a time. As soon as the dashing to pieces of the power of the holy people comes to an end, all these things will come to their finish.” 8 Now as for me, I heard, but I could not understand; so I said: “O my lord, what will be the outcome of these things?” 9 Then he said: “Go, Daniel, because the words are to be kept secret and sealed up until the time of the end. 10 Many will cleanse themselves and whiten themselves and will be refined. And the wicked ones will act wickedly, and none of the wicked will understand; but those having insight will understand. 11 “And from the time that the constant feature has been removed and the disgusting thing that causes desolation has been put in place, there will be 1,290 days. 12 “Happy is the one who keeps in expectation and who arrives at the 1,335 days! 13 “But as for you, go on to the end. You will rest, but you will stand up for your lot at the end of the days.” These verses should be our starting point, along with the context of each of these references. It's not often noted that the reference to 1,260 days in Revelation 11:2 is a reference to the "times of the Gentiles" in Luke 21:24. It's also not often noted that the reference to the "days of their prophesying" (of the two witnesses) is 1,260 days in which they have the authority to shut up the rain in Revelation 11:6 which matches the number of days that the rain was shut up in the days of Elijah. (A time period that gets repeated in Luke and James, as if it is of some importance.)

You have started to say that I am an apostate, a deceiver, one who wants to put "confusion", a false prophet, deceptive etc. etc.
    All right.
    This shows how deep your knowledge of the Bible and how deep is your love for God - Matthew 5:11; 12:36, 37;
I'm also used to this and I expect a lot more for the future - John 16: 1, 2
P.S. But was not I the presumptuous? Are not you that you understand everything?

    Dear AllenSmith,
If you want to push me to say "The Governing Body" then say "Then you are an apostate!" I assure you that this is not the point.
If I follow any person who has authority (true or supposed) above the Bible, then I am an idolater - Matthew 23: 8
If, on the other hand, there is someone who is able to enter the subject without taking a political position, let's see what the article is about to be published.
The article has highlighted the correct (right, right) method of doing a biblical search.
Who has the authority to determine whether a doctrine is correct or wrong?
    Only the Bible - Matthew 4: 4, 7; John 17:17
The Son of God, every time he taught or responded to his adversaries, never forgot his own wisdom, but always mentioned the Scriptures - Matthew 15: 3-9
How can we make the Bible, and only the Bible, speak when we need to understand a doctrine or teaching?
We have to search the subject in all the scriptures that speak (and also read the context, obviously).
To do this, Concordance is very useful (as seen in the picture).
By doing this you will find that some doctrines are correct and some are wrong.
Those who really love the Bible will respect the Bible.
Those who love their religion, more than the Bible, will pretend nothing and find all "justifications" to continue in error.
Is the article intended to be a rebellion to religion or to create another religion?
Absolutely not because this is the people of God.
However, although this is the people of God this does not mean that there are both doctrinal and organizational errors.
If we read the warnings to the congregations reported in Revelation, we see that false teachings and bad people can enter into the people of God - Revelation 2: 1, 8, 12, 18; 3: 1, 7, 14 (see also 2 Timothy 2: 20-22)
He who examines the congregations will put things into place (even with severe discipline) so we look forward to him, without creating divisions.
But this does not mean that we do not have to study the Bible personally.
It does not mean that we do not have to understand what the Bible really teaches (though we find that some things taught are wrong) and does not mean that we do not have to act according to knowledge acquired according to conscience.
Studying the Bible is a duty of every Christian.
So, for some who understood the article, the encouragement is to study the Bible with the only truly neutral and accurate help: the Bible itself.
When the discipline comes (and it will come) no one thinks to say "I could not know. I was so taught in this way" because judgment will be individual on each of us.
Each of us has a Bible and has the ability to understand it, asking for help from God.
The reaction that someone has been commenting on this article should make us realize that some of us have become idolatrous.
Someone has put their own religion above the Word of God.
When it is not possible to discuss a doctrine (or anything else) even in the face of biblical evidence, it is evident that some people have been placed above the Word of God - Matthew 15: 6
This is one of the reasons (not the only one) for which God will punish his own people.
Individually, though, each of us can be protected from calamity.
I hope that each of you can evaluate this article carefully and personally ascertain what the will of God is for us.
