#1 We will not know the "day or the hour" until it occurs, but we have enough evidence to see that we are, as David Shafer said "right on the cusp of the Great Tribulation

#2 I would never add anything to an illustration developed by the "faithful and discreet slave" to help us to understand what Jesus Christ is saying to us NOW.

    1. We are probably 100 years away from the Judgement. God has to sort out a reliable honest loving Organisation here on Earth first.

    2. And if I say JW's worship the GB, here is a great example, and once again the misuse of that phrase F&DS.

A fine example of three groups that overlap would be the adherents of JTR, of John Butler, and of Srecko.

Put them on the same planet and they will fight like cats and dogs. Put them on the worldnewsmediaforum, and they suddenly find that they are practically bedfellows.

As the light gets brighter, we can even make out 4, for there is always Witness.

TTH, a true JW, sarcastic and insulting because he has nothing constructive to say.

  3. @TrueTomHarley  Thank you giving me a laugh. You are so funny and your writings are fit for a  comedy show.

A quote from your above writing. in order that we should no longer be babes, tossed about as by waves and carried hither and thither by every wind of teaching by means of the trickery of men, by means of cunning in contriving error.”

Now think on this Tom. Your GB say that they are NOT INSPIRED AND THEREFORE CAN ERR................

The scripture you quoted says just that. every wind of teaching by means of the trickery of men, by means of cunning in contriving error.  error = ERR

trickery of men, cunning  (your GB)  OVERLAPPING GENERATIONS, SUPERIOR AUTHORITIES, Blood issue, shunning issue, CSA.

“the empty speeches that violate what is holy and from the contradictions of the falsely called “knowledge”

What, just watch some of those cringy videos your GB produces.

absurd charges that they want to “control” people.

Um, JW's are told not to have their own opinions on scripture and not to talk against the GB.

Tom, you are blind to the facts about your own organisation.

I'm not saying God can never use it, but it needs so much cleaning out and rethinking. And of course it needs the true remnant of Anointed to run this early side of things.

    More drivel!

She is probably not a "Friday morning person" and was still a little bleary. Have you shown her 1Cor.3:19 yet?

My wife is intelligent enough and wide awake enough to KNOW what she heard said from the platform, BUT as usual a JW has to throw insults as the only answer they have.

TTH was saying something about building up, not knocking down, but JW's that dislike a comment on here just have to be negative to the one that has written the comment. Not even constructive criticism, just insults.

SO WHERE IS THE LOVE IN YOUR BEING INSULTING ?

Come on then, take on JTR Jr's challenge and tell us all what wonderful NEW things you have learnt from the convention.

I would not even waste my time or fuel money going there.

  5. My wife went to the Friday morning session just to please one of her daughters. When my wife came home she said she had learnt that 'wisdom' is bad for you. At least that was what the brother on the platform was saying.

My wife was most upset by that 'talk' basically saying not to learn anything. Or only learn from the Org. Even she can see how bad the talks are getting. They seem to be really pushing this idea of not getting a good education.

  6. 14 hours ago, BillyTheKid46 said:

WHAT DID YOU LEARN THAT WAS NEW AT THE 2019 "LOVE NEVER FAILS" REGIONAL CONVENTION ?

Apparently nothing to those that attended the convention just to take up valuable space. That convention was supposed to unite with love, not hate with love. Those members that hate the GB just because they refuse to understand are just wasting their time.

Romans 13:2-4 New International Version (NIV)

Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.

How can you love thy brother that hates another extension of Christ Body. How can the brotherhood unite under such condition? it can't! 😉

Oh dear @BillyTheKid46 That Romans scripture is talking about the Superior Authorities of the world. The secular authorities. It is not talking about the GB or any other religious leader.

Of course we all know that the JW Org / Watchtower deliberately misused that scripture for many years, but even they have got it right now. A shame you haven't got it right though, you must be living in the past.

  7. Quote @TrueTomHarley  This is not to say that JTR is one of those who want to “kill the [Jehovah’s Witness] body.” He is more like the one who saws off the branch on which he sits, confident that only good can come of it.

Dear Tom, do you think there are those on here that wish to kill the whole JW Org / Watchtower Soc ?

I for one do not want to see the complete destruction of JW Org or W/t. I thought I would make that clear to you and everyone else. Only God through Christ will make the judgement of the JW Org and Watchtower soc.  If  God and Christ want those two organisations to stand, then stand they will.  However, to myself and others, it is plain to see that the GB will need replacing or reproving, and the JW Org / W/t will need cleansing.

The Nation of Israel was shaken about and cleansed many times, but it still stood whilst God wanted to use it. Do you think the JW Org / W/t soc cannot be treated the same way ?

So will God / Christ put the true Anointed into power in the JW Org / W/t Soc, or will God / Christ completely replace those organisations with a new Org ?  It is not for us to guess or judge. But we do know that ALL false religion has to be destroyed.

  8. There seems to be a cross over here between asking forgiveness from a person, and / or, repenting to God through Christ.

Who of us is really capable of judging others ? God has judged. Jesus Christ can judge. But us humans are all sinners so do we have the right to judge if a person is repentant to God ?

It would seem that in the JW Org, men, Elders, are given the right to judge others. But what exactly are those Elders judging ? They cannot judge whether God or Christ has forgiven a person's sins. Elders can only judge if a person has basically apologised to the JW Org. Repentance attaining to forgiveness from God through Christ is of no one else's business really. In my opinion (which most on here seem to disagree with :) ) a person has to make their own peace with God.

My point here about judging others, is not about judging who one should mix with etc. Because we all need to judge in that way. Most people judge who they will trust, or who they will spend time with, maybe even to the point of who's vehicle they will travel in for safety. But surely it is not our place to judge on God's behalf.  For instance Billy the Kid has judged that i will not receive forgiveness from God or Christ. In my opinion that is going beyond the things written.

What do you guys think? The forms of exploitation people do about God's forgiveness and why Christians forgive.

After Shophmore year and coming back from vacation, I have some time to reflect until the next war - junior year lol.

I make thread on this because of a school experience, social media and what was shown recently from this month's broadcasting about being lured into sin.

People on this blog seem to have different ideas about God's forgiveness. I've been condemned to death by at least one member (BTK). The thinking on 'sinning against the holy spirit' seems to mean different things to different people. From my viewpoint only the Anointed can 'sin against the spirit' because only they have been anointed with that holy spirit.

As for Christians forgiving, Jesus said to the disciples to forgive 77 times, or ongoing. But he was talking to the disciples / apostles, and it would seem to refer to forgiving those who were actually trying their best to serve God properly.

As for forgiving people in the 'world' that deliberately sin or commit crime against you, that may be a totally different thing.

Also there are probably sins that should not be easily forgiven of those that call themselves Christians. Victims of Child Sex Abuse or Adultery may find it hard to forgive those that have committed these sins against them.

I think you have to make your own peace with God through Jesus Christ on these matters. On here you may probably get a dozen different answers. And each sin or crime against you needs individual attention and prayer. Don't make a hasty decision and try not to hate anyone.

  10. Oh dear poor TTH is so mixed up in his head. In one of his previous comments he  mentions searching (for truth presumedly).

Quote " But if one gets the sense of verses such as 1 Peter 1:10 about diligent inquiries, careful searches, keep on investigating, or Matthew 24–“let the reader use discernment”—then it is true. If one is doing what Jesus says, “Keep on the watch” in light that is insufficient, then it happens. "

BUT JW's are told not to have their OWN OPINIONS. JW's are told to rely on the GB (who pretend to be the F&DS).  Sharing one's own opinions in a KH can get a person put on the 'watched list' and later lead to a person being D'fed for 'Causing division within the congregation'.   Tom will of course deny this, even though he knows it to be true.

It is so funny to me that JW's are encouraged to do personal Bible study, yet, not have their own opinion on scripture.

Quote " Paul says grab hold of the “real life” " . Ah but the GB says only grab hold of the 'life' they offer.

The Bible tells us to serve God through Christ. The GB tell congregants to serve them, to trust them as they are the (pretend) F&DS. The GB makes a false statement, that God and Jesus trust them.  The Pope could just as easy make that same statement.

QUOTE TTH "There is nothing wrong with the present leadership among Jehovah’s Witnesses."

If Tom really believes this then HE has a problem.

Probably because disgusting people like you think of rape as a sex only crime, it's not about sex, it's about the POWER a person has over another. That goes for Male, female, and youth. It's extremely embarrassing how little you know about worldly subjects. I guess it should be expected since you know even less about the Watchtower, and how it tries to keep a balanced view when witnesses have to deal with worldly problems themselves. 😉

Therefore, don't try to analyze something you are no good at, it just makes it that more pathetic! 😏

Remember though this is EARTHWIDE  in JW Org. CHILD SEX ABUSE, RAPE, PHYSICAL ABUSE, EMOTIONAL ABUSE. Earthwide in JW Org.

It isn't just a worldly subject. IT IS IN YOUR ORG.

This is a reference to a Caleb and Sophia video which would be seen as praiseworthy were it for any other cause.

If Sophia had had an epiphany and donated her ice cream money to the ‘world hunger fund,’ or the ‘world peace fund,’ or the ‘save the planet fund’ or the ‘animal rescue fund’ or almost any charitable fund, the video would be lauded. It represents training a child that not everything is about her, and that used to be seen as a good thing.

It is only because the malcontents here despise the Witness organization dedicated to the relief of ‘spiritual hunger’ that this video is so attacked. Were it for anything else, it would be lauded.

No, if it was any other organisation it would be seen as begging for money. It would be seen as cheesy and praying on young children.

But JW's HAVE to support everything their bosses tell them to. Keep worshipping your GB Tom.

As for relief of ‘spiritual hunger’ that is super funny, because the GB cannot even get 'spiritual food' right. Remember Tom your GB ARE NOT inspired and they tend to ERR (tell lies).

Remember those books that we all used to study and believe, that are now not even spoken about because the GB feel shame about even allowing them to be studied. Those books that are now banned. And those magazines from the past that are now so embarrassing to the GB and it's Org. Well those are the type of things that you and others want children to give their money for. Take money from your children and spend it on writing fairy tales and LIES.

Tom, your GB do not know the truth. They do not write the truth. They guess and tell lies. They make it up as they go along. Do you really want children to contribute to that ? It is bad enough that those children have to go to meetings and listen to it.

  13. JOHN does not use Twitter and other social media. Facebook and this forum are plenty for me. I don't live my life through a computer like some on here seem to.

However I honestly do wish BTK would show these threats he says i made.

As for religious hate speech, one only has to say that Islam is false religion, and that is regarded as hate speech.

By stopping people expressing their thoughts and feelings all you are doing is building up a time bomb. You know that volcanos 'bubble up' a lot before erupting. Now what would happen if you capped the volcano to stop is bubbling up ?  You'd get no warning but suddenly one big explosion. People need freedom of expression. It's a release of pressure and tension.

However physical violence is obviously wrong, but then so is WAR.

You see, even when i  give you credit for logic, you still need to have a dig at me. But you say it's always me that doesn't give credit or doesn't see logic etc...

You are quick to tell me that i look for faults in others, so go look in the mirror and tell it to yourself.

I find this rather odd coming from a man who, not only mocked a blood relative of a teenager (judged him when you [Butler] said you do not judge without knowing), but attempt to mock him by means of what he has experienced and used Ebonics in a form of mockery against said teenager.  Even before that you made a comment about one's in the feeling of inferiority because of said color of person's skin when the person merely made a remark of specific ethnic groups adhere to Scripture.

Do not be a hypocrite, Butler because it only takes a single quote, a single link, to exposed your hypocrisy in this regard which is very high and quite visible should the situation calls for it.

Now, do you even know what racism even is let alone what it means? Allow me to educate you. Racism by definition is prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior. The secondary definition would be the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

Stating something straight from either statistics and or the FBI, as well as Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention sources, does not make one racist (granted you are ignorant of the term).

Truly, that statement of mine is indeed true, 100%, (I paraphrased it from the information we have available to us regarding such). The majority of pedophiles who commit child abuse, the majority are Caucasian/White Males (Heterosexuals), majority of them being fathers, uncles, brothers, etc. What I did not mention, purposely, is this is the case also with persons who identified themselves as gay (Homosexuals), who, again, majority being Caucasian/White Males who are the very ones in the high mark who commit said crimes of child abuse.

I know you hate demographics because at times it makes you visibly appear foolish, for no one has to see you in person, but can see this through your reaction by means of your response, more so, you once claim you knew a lot about what is going on in the US, alluding to the fact, but the fact you are unaware of this, shows ignorance, on your part, and I haven't even mentioned EU or the UK yet, in addition, it further brings to question now your past comments regarding abuse in other nations of which you claim you were aware of. For it speaks for itself, this is not counting the rich and the power who partake in pedophile rings, human sex trafficking, etc.

Next time, before you make ignorant response perhaps do some in-depth research first regarding these things in the United States. Because stupidity will only yield someone to refute you very easily, and even outside Bible discussion and Christendom, it seems you lack here also, and make silly comments towards someone who has been a Truther in reading into this stuff for a very long time.

80% is indeed a big number on Non-Hispanic Caucasian/White Males regarding pedophilia and forcible rape, child abuse in conjunction with one another, for even that of a father and or uncle in the US who commits such. Hispanics, Blacks, and other groups fall behind in this regard.

That being said, those who really fight against this stuff are aware of such, which proves my point of people, such as yourself, who are merely keyboard warriors who have never been in such a fight against child abuse pedophilia at all. Lastly, I did you a favor, here is the word Racism in the dictionary: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/racism

Also, 2 Pac? for what? And absolutely random (and speaking about infants, it seems you are unaware of the baby situation in the US too if we were to discussion this). I find it hilarious you even linked that video and everyone is now aware you like your music that isn't clean, which is a direct call back to when I brought forth God's Word concerning you and the profaning/defilement of your mouth, let this be a reminder:

If you have children, I hope their mouths are as clean as yours, as well as their ears. Granted, if you even had the care to teach such lessons while tooting the horn of spiritual wisdom of yours.

@Space Merchant I called you out for being racist in that comment and I was right. You don't like that, tough on you SM.

You call us 'white males' but you call yourself a 'man of colour'. That is so funny, and racist. If we are white males then you are a black male, live with it SM.

And I will use @TrueTomHarley logic here.  Tom says the only reason people know about the quantity of CSA in the JW Org is because it is recorded.

So let's use that same idea with your accusing 'white males' of raping their children. How does anyone know quantity of 'white males' that rape their children ? Because it is recorded. How? Probably by the number of convictions.

But, is it recorded about the number of black males that rape their children ? OR, do black people not report it, or, do they deal with it themselves ?  You see there is no proof that more 'white males' rape their children, only proof of more reports or more convictions. Besides which it seemed important to you to make a point of 'white males'.

Also, 2 Pac? for what? And absolutely random

Not random, just you blocking it out of your mind. The fact that you didn't like a black man MAKING THE POINT about black men raping their own children in their own community. You see it wasn't random. 2 Pac was saying that there is a problem with it in the black community.

Quote I find it hilarious you even linked that video and everyone is now aware you like your music that isn't clean,

You are soooo funny SM. You have no idea what JW's listen to. Let me tell you this.

25 years ago, time whizzes past. Anyway my wife was studying the Bible with two young ladies. These young ladies were Pioneers, full time ministers of God. One of their favorite songs was  Queen singing Bohemian Rhapsody.

The band Queen. Lead singer was a transvestite homosexual. Song words 'Mama just killed a man, put a gun against his head, pulled the trigger now he's dead'  Then it goes on about the devil and more.  So is that 'clean music' ?

Next :  I was at a JW gathering and I had to ask them to stop listening to, and singing along to a song. The words  were

'I'm just a teenage dirtbag baby'  Now is that clean music ?

The 2 Pac song had a message and meaning to it. But you are too blind to see.

I won't even bother to read any more of your comments SM. I can tell you are racist and unbalanced. You think you know much more than most other people and you think you are more intelligent.

Black or white SM, you are just another man on this big Earth.

  16. Are all the talks at assemblies just outlines given to brothers to make up the talks ?

I know that Public talks for Sunday meetings are just outlines from the GB / Org and the elders make up a talk from the outline. That will mean that every time that same outline is used, the actual talk will be different, at different KH.

If assembly talks are the same type of thing then every assembly will have same outline but the elders/brothers will actually have made up a different talk.  What I'm saying is that at each assembly within that year the talk may be completely different depending how the brother uses the outline. It will not be word for word the same at every assembly.

Hence what may be said at one assembly may not be said at another assembly. Well that is my line of reasoning, so tell me if I'm wrong.

Come now, John, what do you expect? Of course I am here to get ammo.

You have logged hundreds of comments here during the past year. I can’t recall that you have budged even the tiniest degree on the tiniest point.

When someone answers one of your complaints, you shake it off like a dog shakes off water, and lodge the complaint again. When someone attempts to “meet you halfway,” you take their end and beat them over the head with it. So, do you think that I am here to converse with you?

I don’t even think that it is proper to do so. After your congregation elders were totally unable to reason with you on your strident points, you cut all ties with the Christian congregation. And now you think that you will come online and do what you could not do with then in person? Not with me, you’re not. I trust those guys.

Furthermore, I don’t think that I am the only one who keeps endless conversations going for the sake of gaining feedback from arguments.

With me, it is a variation of “Run it up the flagpost, and see who salutes it.” It is “Run it up the flagpost and see if John succeeds in shooting any holes in it.” I know very well that the air will be acrid with gunpowder. But that is not the same thing as hitting it. Once in a while you do graze it a little and then I rethink matters and reconsider presentation.

That's a lot of words just to say that what you write is a load of cr-p and that you are not genuine, but thanks for proving my point.

I never bother reading any of your 'books' as they are probs as 'genuine' as your comments on here, which is not at all.

Of course you can't remember me ever saying to some one 'Thanks for that I hadn't looked at it in that way'.  Or to Anna, 'I would need more information on that point'. And you won't remember me ever giving upvotes to anyone at all of course.

You are a typical JW, you want to paint me as the villian, tell the world John is an apostate with grudge. So be it Tom, write your books, get your fame, earn your money, be a selfish writer that only writes half truth and lies. Keep pretending that all ex JW's are nasty people with a grudge. It suits your agenda, and gives you ammo.  But how it could give you a clean conscience before God I do not know

  18. Quote @Anna I don't know if this is really new, but I learned it's very important to love, and show love to one another because we as heck are going to need it in the future. And I'm talking about true love, the principled kind, not the sentimental kind.

Sorry Anna I misquoted you earlier. But is there something wrong with sentimental love ?

    sentimental
    /sɛntɪˈmɛnt(ə)l/
    adjective
    1. of or prompted by feelings of tenderness, sadness, or nostalgia.
"she felt a sentimental attachment to the place creep over her"
      synonyms:

nostalgic, tender, emotional, dewy-eyed, misty-eyed, affectionate, loving

You seem to be becoming a robot JW. Well that of course is the nature of the beast anyway. The GB have no real love of any sort it would seem, otherwise they would do a much better job at being servants not rulers. Jesus made the point abundantly clear but the GB think they are above Jesus' direction.

The only love JW's know is a false kind which means 'love' people whilst they are in JW Org, but dislike them if they leave. A very strange kind of love indeed. Is that your principled love ?

However, one good thing about sentimental love is, it does not expect anything in return.  Sentimental love is for people no longer living, or for animals and for objects which mean something special, or places of beauty such as the countryside or a sea view. Some of those things are God's creations, some are not.

However, if principled love makes room for collateral damage (you know of which I speak), thern maybe it's not for me.

  19. I do spend a lot of time thinking about what is right and what is wrong, and I do think that God wants each of us to use our own conscience to make our own decisions.

Yes of course our conscience should be based on God's word, using Bible principles and examples given by Jesus Christ. But it should be our conscience that we rely on, not the dictatorship of MEN.

The JW Org's leaders have made so many rules that a baptised JW person cannot use their own conscience. JW's are programmed to accept all the rules dictated by the GB.  Programmed in such a way that every JW knows that if they deliberately use their own conscience and it takes them on a different course to GB 'laws' then that JW is liable to be disfellowshipped.

A JW is not always disfellowshipped for breaking God's 'laws', but on occasions a JW is disfellowshipped for breaking the 'laws' of the GB. Hence a JW could have a good conscience and use Bible principles, but still get disfellowshipped.

So, are the GB going beyond the things written by taking away a person's conscience and replacing it by too many rules or laws ?
