    Unfortunately many young children have become 'cannon fodder' in the JW Org, and so have many adults.

    ERROR ? No, deliberate sin. Deliberate crime by people in 'power', in the Watchtower Soc and JW Org.

    My question was regarding the process from the beggining. I was NOT asking about men being appointed and then turning into wolves and betraying the christian congregations as Judas did or others in the 1st century and later. I meant about the appointment of  men that from the beggining had the intention/purpose of damaging the congregation. I see it has happened in other countries like Rumania.  Also found interesting this Bible verse, but I am not sure if those false brothers mentioned in Galatas 2:4 were appointed 🤔

    Tactics of the Enemy
    In their attempts to weaken the faith of Jehovah’s servants or to bully them into submission, the Communists employed spies, traitors, torture, lying propaganda, and the threat of death. Spies and informers included neighbors, work colleagues, apostates, family members, and Securitate agents. The latter even infiltrated congregations by feigning interest in the truth and learning theocratic terms. These “false brothers” did much harm and caused many arrests. One of them, Savu Gabor, even held a responsible position. He was exposed in 1969.—Gal. 2:4.

    But that matter came up because of the false brothers brought in quietly,+ who slipped in to spy on the freedom+ we enjoy in union with Christ Jesus, so that they might completely enslave us;+

    Can it be concluded from this statement that Christians are less bothered by Capitalism, and that they would rather be Christians in capitalist countries than in communist ones?
    That is, that the Capitalist ideology is closer to Christianity than the Communist ideology? :))

    GB requests and expects, from the members, that unconditional trust and obedience be given to them and to JW elders. Despite the fact that TTH has stated that everything can be corrupted (tainted by human).
    It is theoretically beautiful and poetically enchanting. And only that, nothing else.
    So the question is, do you TTH and every other JW, allow an ordinary JW to have a critical appraisal of GB and elders and their ideas and decisions?

    Your statement is beautifully uttered, but it cannot confirm that your knowledge and belief, in the form you practice, is true or false. It is your personal experience, personal conclusion and personal opinion. As such, it can be tested and verified and accepted or rejected, not only by people (in general) but also by the God you believe in.

    The simple answer is that the JW Org is not guided by or watched over by Almighty God or Jesus Christ.
    Many men in many congregations would not have been given appointments of 'power' over others, if God and/or Christ had any part of it. I will hold back from mentioning a serious problem in the Org, which obviously proves my point.
    My own brother is an Elder in a congregation and he admits that many Elders are not fit for purpose, and that they were never fit for purpose. One very big problem here in the UK seems to be, the lack of voluteers to take on responsibilty. Hence my brother, who is now 80 years old, has to keep doing his 'duty'.  He is losing his memory, suffers with anxiety and sleeplessness, but he has to keep on serving the Org, because no one wants to do the job he does. (I think the virus problem has actually been good for him, with KH closed, he can relax a bit ).
    So, in my opinion, men that are appointed to positions of 'responsibiity' in the Org would be men that want a bit of 'power' and would be friends of other elders. A sort of 'boys club' where only certain types of men would want to be part of it.  Once again there seems to be proof of that, which has given the Org a bad reputation.
    The one thing that has been made clear ( Luke 8 : 17)  is that Nothing in the Watchtower / JW Org is inspired of God's Holy Spirit. The GB finally admitted that they are NOT INSPIRED, and they call themselves the Faithful and Discreet Slave. So if the GB are not inspired, but they take the lead, then it would follow that the rest of the Watchtower / JW Org is not inspired.
    Isabella, you need to know that you cannot trust 'men'. That is, you cannot trust Elders or Ministerial Servants.  Remember that you want to serve God through Christ. You do not want to serve men.  You cannot even trust the GB.
    Many JWs do not trust the GB. Even JWs on this forum do not believe everything that the GB writes or says.
    It is your choice to remain in the JW Org or to leave it. But even if you remain in it, do not trust it.

    Yes, especially men who, without so much as a blink, tell you that God and Jesus trust them, so you must trust them also.  Who, in their right mind would make such an arrogant stand before the Almighty God, unless they were narcissistic, without one humble bone in their body?  They defy God and His principles of righteousness.  They believe their sins are glossed over by God and Jesus, that they will not be held accountable for their record of false teachings. But then, I don't believe they feel they do sin. They have convinced JW's that these men have already been found acceptable to rule in the kingdom of God.  Those on the elder body who display the same narcissism, believe they will rule over JW's on the earth. None of this, is God's plan.

    All appointments to various positions and services in the WTJWorg organization are made by people. Every appointment and every removal from the appointment is done by people. I hope this "clarification" will answer your questions about topic.

    Sorry for my terrible English, it is not my native language and where I live we only speak Spanish: How would you reconcile the affirmation of elders and ministerial servants being appointed by God when in the 80's in my country as in other countries, specially under Communist regime, there have been undercover men pretending being interested to the point of  becoming elders. Who appointed these men as elders or ministerial servants?

    In order to understand what the Bible says, AND what it ALMOST says, one has to care deeply about understanding ALL things (whether we are good at it is a whole other discussion ... especially if we are highly educated ... but everything we know is wrong, or totally screwed up with liberal agenda claptrap).
    The more you understand about life and death, freedom or imprisonment, common sense (which is not all that common ...) human nature, and the very real and difficult problem of governing groups of people so that something RESEMBLING peace, Justice, equity and righteousness may prevail, the better you will be at understanding unexplained things in everyday life, and unexplained things in the Bible.
    Just as in detective work, philosophy and riding a bicycle, if you have no sense of balance, depth perception, or stamina, barring unforeseen circumstances which bite and bless us all, your trip through life will not fare well.
    I THINK I understand why Jehovah had Jewish human males circumcised. (But then, I seriously misunderstood when my Guardian said he was taking me to the Vet, to be "tutored".)
    "Back Then", Families, Tribes, and national groups needed a way to identify each other at a distance, and close up. Arguably, the only reason a person with access to soap and water, in their right mind would get circumcised is to obey some religious edict.
    For 400 years the Jews had soldiers stationed at the Jordan River, protecting their borders, and they had several ways of "checking your I.D,", as you could be a spy, or a terrorist, or whatever you asserted. There was of course the "Sibbolith/Shibbolith" test, but  all other things seemingly OK, checking for circumcision was a pretty serious test.
    There is more, but I may address that later.

    Zechariah 8:23
    Berean Study Bible
    This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue will tightly grasp the robe of a Jew, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’ ”
    Acts 2:17 &18
    Berean Study Bible
    ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.'
    And that is why I am Patiently waiting for Truth. Have a good day.

    What I'm getting at is that even in @arauna's reply there is a tremendous amount of speculation. We can only know what's written, and what is written is pretty sparse. We don't know whether the garden remained to exist until the flood. We don't know why these came up w/the idea that Jehovah would want some stuff in the form of an offering. That in itself seems to show a retarded conception of God, like somehow you could ever "give" or need to "give" him anything. In the context there are assumptions that people would know what "Doing good" was, or what "Sin" was.  We don't know how it was that these assumed an offering was accepted. We don't know whether these had an audible or visual representation of Jehovah or both. I'm quite familiar w/the standard speculations, because that's what these are w/o biblical confirmation as to the details. I'm just pointing out how we easily make a lot of assumptions because we're not there and not involved. Perhaps we imagine ourselves as in a superior position, and perhaps we are w/regard to knowledge, but we don't "know".

    I know we all love the bible as a whole, but do you have a some scriptures or passages that stick to you the most? I have 2:
    Psalm 19[a]
    For the director of music. A psalm of David.
    1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
        the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
    2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
        night after night they reveal knowledge.
    3 They have no speech, they use no words;
        no sound is heard from them.
    4 Yet their voice[b] goes out into all the earth,
        their words to the ends of the world.
    In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
    5     It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
        like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
    6 It rises at one end of the heavens
        and makes its circuit to the other;
        nothing is deprived of its warmth.
    7 The law of the Lord is perfect,
        refreshing the soul.
    The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
        making wise the simple.
    8 The precepts of the Lord are right,
        giving joy to the heart.
    The commands of the Lord are radiant,
        giving light to the eyes.
    9 The fear of the Lord is pure,
        enduring forever.
    The decrees of the Lord are firm,
        and all of them are righteous.
    10 They are more precious than gold,
        than much pure gold;
    they are sweeter than honey,
        than honey from the honeycomb.
    11 By them your servant is warned;
        in keeping them there is great reward.
    12 But who can discern their own errors?
        Forgive my hidden faults.
    13 Keep your servant also from willful sins;
        may they not rule over me.
    Then I will be blameless,
        innocent of great transgression.
    14 May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
        be pleasing in your sight,
        Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
    Acts 5
    34 But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while.
    35 Then he addressed the Sanhedrin: “Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men.
    36 Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing.
    37 After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered.
    38 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail.
    39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”
  20. Thanks

    Or, perhaps not a savior, but it seems to be a symbol of judgment.  1 Cor 10 :6-10
    I think you've got it a little backwards.   Jesus described the Pharisees, the leaders of his people, as a "brood of vipers". Matt 3:7   So, it is true that you are walking about in a den of snakes (no less), but the snakes, who "deceive the elect/chosen" and all JWs,  are your leaders.  Matt 24:24,25

    Yes I was joking, making a pun when one of the governing body members told the witnesses to trust in Jehovah, Jesus and the governing body only.

    In my opinion I see Santa has become an idol and is sort of worshipped by society it is sad to watch.

    I have faith that God will not kill someone for eating a meal together on a certain day, or for givng as much honor to the son as to the father both whom created all things.

    The symbolism used by the Bible with the animal world is interesting. The same species of animal has two opposite characteristics.
    Eg. Satan is referred to as the "roaring lion," but the positive characters in the biblical text are also compared to the "lion."
    The “serpent” is a symbol for Satan, but the “serpent” was the savior for all those Israelites who looked at the bronze serpent idol that Moses placed at God’s command.
