You do prefer mudslinging with nothing to back your accusations spiritually. I gave you definitions, and told you not to take my word for it but do your own research. I said, use the scriptures to show you the meaning, but it is easier to accuse on opinion, instead of utilizing the word of God. Who is king over the anointed? Is it the governing body, or is it Jesus Christ? Apparently, the elders have more power over the anointed as seen in the above statements, than what Jesus Christ has. If that power is challenged, the anointed one – anyone – is disfellowshipped – SHUNNED – and considered dead. Rev 13:15 Since the anointed are members of the Body of Christ, and the elder body readily judges them as they wish, WHO is competing with the rival king, Jesus Christ, who is Head of his Body? The elder body, who are exalted over God’s priesthood, is the locust army of both Joel 2 and Revelation 9. Revelation only gives one account of the appearance of Gog and Magog. Geoffrey Jackson says this happens during Armageddon. That means, it cannot happen after Armageddon and into the Kingdom of God. Gog and Magog do not appear twice. So, he has made up his own narrative by saying another "test" will arrive after Armageddon. And all JWs should be challenging his teaching. You must be suffering some confusion about "hell" being translated as "Tartarus", since your doctrine says, it is the "common grave of mankind". When Jesus died, he was in the abyss as Paul brought out - the "bottomless pit" of darkness. Wow. To think that a God of love is the source of wicked testing. God is not the source of testing. Remember, he warned Adam and Eve about resisting the “forbidden fruit”. He gave them free will to choose. It is Satan who desires to destroy all life, who is the source of our tests. He was that “tree of knowledge.” “Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and He himself tempts no one.” James 1:13 Since God always warns us of impending disaster for our actions, in your “thousand years” to come, will He warn you of Satan’s deceitful “test” that you will face? Since you believe this test will arrive long into the Kingdom, then there should be warning about its happening. I only see warning in the scriptures about Satan's final test happening now. Should I call you a false teacher for saying that God is the source of our testing? Well, that's debatable. I know you are influenced by false teachers, but as Jesus warns all of us - "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matt 12:37

I'm just borrowing your quote, not necessarily directing my comment to you. In this video ,”Gog of Magog” is mentioned as coming against JWs or “God’s people” during Armageddon, since apparently by that time, no other religion will be in existence. So, JWs are basically surrounded by "Gog of Magog". It then mentions, the thousand-year reign of Christ begins. Geoffrey Jackson states, “that destruction of the wicked will usher in the thousand year reign of Jesus Christ. After the final test at the end of the thousand years, what will be the situation…?” He doesn’t say how that final test will come about. It must be a surprise for JWs to find out…in time! But really, how could he dare mention it, when God’s Word says, “Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” Rev 20:7-10 Hmmm. Maybe the GB really believe that the "thousand years" has ended, and Satan has been let loose out of the abyss to deceive God's saints. “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand." You never did any research on the meaning of Hades, Sheol, and the abyss. You are satisfied in believing what men tell you without solid scriptural proof. That is voluntary blindness, Arauna. Again, who was in the abyss when Jesus preached to them after his physical death? They were spirits who had sinned, who were “in prison” or bound in the abyss; and spiritually “dead” in their trespasses, just as a physical person can be “dead”, living in their sins. (1 Pet 3:19,20; Jude 1:6; Eph 2:1) The chains that Satan was bound with, were spiritual chains that veiled his perceptive thought process. He was prevented from misleading the anointed with deceit. That’s what it’s all about, Arauna; it is the war against Christ’s seed and the seed of Satan, culminating in Armageddon. Gen 3:15 Why would this war re-surge once again after Armageddon? Armageddon settles it, once and for all. (Joel 3) The restriction placed on Satan's thought process, changed when he was released from “not perceiving” how to accomplish destroying the anointed. But he was still able to cause trouble to the rest of the world while in this mental restricted state. To the anointed who lived during his time of “not perceiving”, Satan could test them as he demanded that they be. Yet Jesus said to the faithful, “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” Luke 10:19 It doesn’t mean that they had to let down their guard against him. Maintaining their faith took constant alertness. And, through their faith, they were not taken “captive by empty philosophy”. Col 1:18 But they didn't experience a sweeping form of deception - a plan, that captured all anointed into once place – the organization. (Rev 13:10) And another "again"; what is released from the abyss that your deceiving organization terms as the anointed ones? Yet in Joel 2 they call an army that comes against God's people? It is the locust-scorpions, who persecute “those who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads”. (Rev 9:4; 7:4) Why would the anointed priesthood persecute their own brothers in Christ? They are the ones who receive a “seal of God” on their foreheads, but only if found refined and faithful. Can they allow false teachings to settle in their heart and still receive the seal of God? No. Can they receive not only God’ seal, but the seal of an organization – a deceptive Beast that gladly shuts up all dissenters by judgment as “dead”? Rev 13:15 What “tramples” the Temple of God? I explained how Satan was "bound" in the abyss. I hope that made sense to someone. How does the “law go out from Zion?” Is it through an earthly organization, or is it through the Temple of God, whose members are “living stones”? (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17) Isa 2:2,3 "In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. 3 Many peoples will come and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.’ The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem." Can you distinguish the difference? Simply because the anointed are in an earthly organization does not mean the organization is blessed by God. He has already established HIS organization – HIS arrangement – HIS administration - in Christ, in the first century. It is that Temple built with “living stones”, that is God’s administration. It is that temple built on the apostles and Jesus Christ. (Eph 2:20-22) Should it be replaced by men creating their own “unique idea”? Your organization is not built on the apostles and Jesus Christ. It can’t even be said it is built on “truth”, as the record clearly shows it isn’t. Your organization is built with false ideas and money. Your beloved organization, is a counterfeit. If you say, the organization is where the law of God will go out, you have been deceived; you are blinded of the truth. The organization has committed gross sins against those within it, and those outside of it. So, when was the “birth” of this organization? When did the WT become “Jehovah’s organization”? What happened in 1914? By determining that, you will see when Satan was let loose to deceive and surround the “camp of the saints”. How do you think Satan attacks the woman’s seed in the last days? And do you really think he will do this TWICE? (Rev 12:17; 20:9,7,8; 16:14,16)

Don't take my word for it, or the word of men who cannot understand what "this generation" applies to. Look up the meaning in Hebrew and Greek for Sheol, Hades, abyss and the "pit". Use the scriptures to show you what it means.

If we were to use that analogy, then your locust/scorpions that come out of the abyss as the anointed,(Rev 9:2,3) means that they not only shared it with Satan and his demons, but had no influence in the world while in it. It helps to understand the meaning of Sheol, Hades, the abyss, the “pit”; which are all indicating the realm of spiritual darkness – the realm of “not perceiving”. Satan has power over that darkness: 2 Cor 4:4 – “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.” God has power over this darkness: “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you 29 And you shall grope at noonday, as a blind man gropes in darkness; you shall not prosper in your ways; you shall be only oppressed and plundered continually, and no one shall save you.” Deut 28:15,29 “To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in for ever. But you, Lord my God, brought my life up from the pit.” Jonah 2:6 As does Jesus Christ: Isa 9:2 – “The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.” John 1:5 “And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” When Jesus was in the abyss, in that realm of “not perceiving” the light and wisdom of God; he preached to the demons “chained” in this darkness. Did they hear Jesus? Of course they did. Why else would he have witnessed to them if they couldn’t? (1 Pet 3:18,19) If we are “alienated” from the light and wisdom of God through Christ, we also are in the abyss/Sheol/Hades. We are under the power of darkness. “For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth.” Isa 38:18 “This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart” Eph 4:17,18 When Jesus bound Satan in the abyss, he restrained his ability to perceive or conceptualize how to deceive the anointed remnant in the last days. (Eccl 9:10) He was spiritually blind to understanding how to attack the remaining ones of God’s people. Up until that time, the faithful anointed were not “captivated” or led into believing his greatest test. (Col 1:18; Rev 13:10; 2 Thess 2:9-10) They had no experience with the Beasts of Rev 13. (Rev 20:4) But Satan was still active throughout the earth, just as someone who walks outside of the light of life in Christ, is still physically alive, yet spiritually blinded to the wisdom of God. “For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Please understand I am not singling you out with this comment, but any JW and exJW who may be reading this. “The last days will culminate in “the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly people.” (2 Peter 3:3, 7) But people who love God will survive that destruction and be blessed with “everlasting life.”—Matthew 25:46.” wp19 No. 3 p. 10-11 Not according to WT doctrine of a battle to ensue 1,000 years into the “paradise”. No matter how much one loves God now, they will have another event of destruction to face. What a lie. I don’t know how a JW can say that through obedience and baptism into the organization, salvation can be obtained, and “everlasting life” will be received, through that obedience to its direction…when it is the same organization that also tells you Satan will be “let loose” from the abyss one thousand years into the period of “everlasting life”. If this WAS truth, NO JW should teach another person that they can receive everlasting life through the organization, because your prospects of surviving Satan’s DECEITFUL tactics are rather slim. God’s promise in Revelation 21:3,4…or the confusing, fork-tongued teaching that yes, you will have everlasting life after Armageddon, but it is highly possibly you may lose that promise one thousand years into it? Satan was “let loose” after a symbolic “thousand years” from the abyss, by a fallen star. (Rev 9:1) Stars represent God’s holy people/ anointed ones; this star that fell to the earth is not Jesus Christ, (who would never “fall”), but a rebellious anointed one. (Dan 12:3; Rev 1:16; 8:10; 2 Pet 3:17;Jude 1:12,13; Rev 6:13; 12:4) Satan gave this fallen star a “key” to deception and death – a “key” to unlock his plan to destroy God’s anointed ones during the last days. “Is not My word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces? Hos 6:5 When I think of this "torment" I think of leaders such as Hitler, who's legacy has been condemned through the the mouth of people since his wicked rule. He is "condemned" "day and night" in a sense, for his atrocities committed even though he is dead. God's Word condemns eternally, those who reject His Word in Christ. Since His Word, the spiritual sense of it, "is like fire", it is a symbolic condemnation. "But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matt 12:36,37 Are you saying that God cannot read hearts? 2 Chron 16:9 Are you saying that He isn't the "God of the living", and cannot resurrect individuals whose hearts are already proven as righteous, into His Kingdom? What are the "memorial tombs" for, then? Ps 139:1-6 Do you really believe a God of love needs to submit them to Satan to further examine their heart, after giving them "paradise"? We've been through this with Adam and Eve. God is putting an end to all of it, at Armageddon. That is now, not a thousand years later on the other side of Armageddon. (John 14:6; 6:48; 1 John 5:11; Rom 8:2; etc.) Christ’s first goal is to complete the sealing of the Bride. That Bride when united with him in the Kingdom, brings forth life for the rest of faithful mankind. (Rev 2:29; 22:17; Matt 10:40-42; Isa 52:7) The New Covenant promise of life, would be fulfilled. It is then, that children are “born” into the Kingdom of God. In the apostle’s day, we have record of those who were once with them, but turned away from their Head. (Acts 15:24; 1 John 2:19) We have record of Paul confronting false teachings and “demolishing” them. (2 Cor 10:5) These people diverted from truth and true worship. (2 Pet 2:2) We know that the war against Satan’s lies, is spiritual. (Eph 6:12) Each anointed one is tested by Satan, and over the years, not all have succeeded in remaining faithful to God and Jesus. (Luke 22:31) Each one is judged according to their choice. (put all enemies under his feet – Ps 110:1,2 ) Those who faithfully obey the word of truth, priests refined of their sins, can be sealed while on the earth. (Eph 1:13; 4:30) If they are true to their anointing, (born again in the spirit) they remain spiritually “alive”. (Rom 6:11) If they fail and following “another spirit”, would they still be considered by God as “alive”? (2 Cor 11:1-4) The faithful can reign (a spiritual connotation) with Christ in “heaven” while on the earth. One’s name cannot be written in the Book of life and not be considered spiritually “alive”. (Luke 10:20; Phil 4:3; Rev 3:5) "But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive”. (1 Cor 15) They are spiritually “alive” while in the flesh. (1 Cor 15:53-57) All anointed are the “firstfruits” benefiting from the New Covenant as the complete Bride – only if they are faithful. But there is a distinction made in this scripture of the end time anointed remnant as “those who belong to him”: 23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.” 1 Cor 15:23 These, are the “firstfruits” Paul is speaking of in 1 Cor 15: “I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” Rev 20 So these anointed didn’t have any experience over their lifetime with the two Beast of Rev 13 – the last Beast in Daniel’s vision. (Dan 7:19) They had nothing to do with it, since they existed BEFORE it came into being. Yet the last anointed remnant DO experience this Beast. They actually worship it, taken captive by its use of deceit; but, through their testimony against it, some were “killed” by the beast for rejecting its mark. (Rev 11:1-3; Col 2:8; 13:10,15) “Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified. Rev 11:7,8 While worshiping the beast, they were “dead” in their sins. (Rev 3:1,18) Once they wake up to what they’ve got themselves into, their testimony against the spirit-breathed beast leads to their “death” by the Beast. (Rev 13:15) We can’t dismiss the fact that God’s word shows us that the anointed are “captivated” by the Beast in the last days. Does the UN deceitfully “captivate” the anointed? No. So, it isn’t the Beast of Rev 13:1,2. Scripture says the Beast will undoubtedly, accomplish this. After these servants of Christ give their testimony about him, and although the spirit-breathed beast sanctioned them as “dead” when they fought against it, they “came alive” because of this testimony and repentance of their sins. Again, we need to remember that this Beast “makes war” with the anointed, using deceit. (Rev 13:5-7; 16:13,14) They are initially “overcome” until they gave their testimony. (Rev 13:6,7) “For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. But after the three and a half days the Spirit of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them.” Rev 11:9,11 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Rev 20:5 We see a glimpse of those anointed who come out victorious during this war with the Beast . “And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God” Rev 15:2 To reiterate, the Beast makes war with the saints. Not all of these “kings of the earth”, come out “victorious”. (Rev 1:5) Only a remnant survives. And, not all of the 144,000 have experience with the Beast, only the remnant of the “woman” covenant. The rest are already “reigning” with Christ, which helps verify that this occurs during the last 2,000 years since Jesus began reigning in “heaven”. The Lord will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying, “Rule in the midst of your enemies!” 3 Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, your young men will come to you like dew from the morning’s womb. Ps 110:2,3 The “day of battle” began when Jesus took his seat to “rule” in the first century. Rev 19:19-21 can be compared to Rev 20:7-10 So, the thousand years ends with the appearance of the two Beast. (Gog and Magog, Rev 20:7,8) The ensuing “Great Tribulation”, the result of “Armageddon” fought in the “valley of decision” is a war against concepts, devised by an organization that calls itself “the truth. A Beast/false prophet tells the lies and directs an organization to “make war” with the saints. Which it has. It has robbed God’s anointed of their priesthood. (2 Thess 2:3,4;) It has told them to remain “scattered”, not to bond and join under their only Head, Jesus Christ. ONLY a composite false prophet is allowed to submit spiritual “food”, a steward that has failed to run God’s anointed household in righteousness. (Rev 13:16,17) Again, an anointed can be sealed while still alive on the earth. Through their devotion to their Master and truth, they symbolically “reign” with him in the ongoing battle of truth against lies, that they face during their lifetime. During Christ’s invisible presence in the last days (Rev 11:1-3) so too, those who fought off the Beast, and become sealed even while still on the earth, and can “ride” victoriously, with Christ, against Satan’s deceptions. And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. 10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.” Rev 5:9,10 “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Pet 2:9 “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. 14 This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Eph 5:11-14

When we look at Rev 20:7-10, it shows that Satan uses deceit to surround the "camp" of God's holy people/saints. In Rev 13 it also says that the two Beasts (Gog and Magog) use deceit through the power given them by Satan, to come against the saints. (Rev 13:5-7,14) In Rev 16:13-16, it mentions Jesus' "kings of the earth" (Rev 1:5) being deceived by the two beasts and Satan. They use blasphemy and deceit to take down those anointed in Christ. We're getting a painted picture using various colors, of what occurs once Satan is released from the "abyss". Sidepoint - if the locust of Rev 9:3 are God's anointed as the WT still insists, why would both Satan AND God's anointed come out of the "abyss" - the place of "not perceiving"? (Rev 20:3) One with apparent "good" intentions bearing a stinging message, and one with "evil" intentions to destroy through DECEIT?

I doubt my comment is welcome between the two of you, and I have not read the following comments since these, but JWI, if you believe Jesus began reigning in the first century, then why would his “kingdom of the son of his love” (Col 1:13) not be his kingdom of a thousand years? (Ps 110:1,2; 1 Cor 15:25) Once “death” has been destroyed, the Kingdom of God would usher in. (1 Cor 15:24,26) Jesus will have put all enemies under his feet over the last 2,000 years as the scriptures indicate. That is the point of his symbolic thousand-year reign, which is a time of division and judgment. For a thousand years in Your sightAre like yesterday when it is past,And like a watch in the night. Ps 90:4 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!” Mark 13:35,36 I see nothing in the scriptures that say Jesus will reign for a literal thousand years in peace, yet also call it a judgment period as the WT teaches. How many judgments periods does there need to be? The Great Tribulation is already a test of magnified proportions that God's people must face. I see nothing in the scriptures that says we must wait until we are physically and mentally perfect before we face another deception by Satan. This is doctrine of men. We see plenty of examples of people in the scriptures who have already faced Satan and remained faithful to God. Will Abraham be submitted to another deceptive test? Noah? His family? Moses? The few faithful kings of Israel? All faithful ones who left Babylon and remained faithful during their lifetime? They all conquered “death” during their lifetime by receiving “living water” from God through His decrees. Once they are resurrected, they will live, eternally, with no interruption by Satan, since the Destroyer who destroyed, would be gone. (Isa 33:1; 1 Cor 15:26) “But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, 32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.” Matt 22:31,32 And if they are of the “living”, they would hold onto this unfailing promise: “By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9 By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them. Heb, chapter 11 How can one retain their faith in the Kingdom of God, where righteous will dwell, and still believe unrighteousness and destruction will be allowed to deceitfully come upon one, who already survived testing by Satan during their lifetime on this side of Armageddon? Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25,26 The "last enemy" death, is conquered by the individual before Armageddon, during their lifetime of believing in and obeying the teachings of Jesus Christ. The faithful anointed of Christ, have “passed over, from death to life” and will “never die”. (1 Pet 1:23; John 1:13; James 1:18; 1 Pet 1:3; 1 John 3:9) Throughout their lifetime, they must persist in that faithfulness and for the remnant, resist Satan’s deceptions. (Rom 12:6; James 2:17,24,26; Rev 13:7,10) Those not anointed but are true believers in Christ are redeemed through the second resurrection. All people who had obtained righteousness will “never die”. They will never have to face the possibility of death again, since death will be destroyed. The promise of eternal life by Jesus Christ, is eternal to the one who believes and obeys HIS words and not man. We can be considered "dead" in the physical body if not believing and living by, the teachings of Jesus Christ. "Truly I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life" John 5:24 Why would one desire to be in the Kingdom of God, yet also believe they may not live there eternally by a final test that would come through deceit? (Rev 20:7-10) Only through demonic influence would a curve ball be thrown into a promise Jesus firmly held out to those who accept HIS doctrine of living eternally, which is the doctrine of God. I didn't put your whole comment here, but am considering all of it...or most of it, at least! Well, we have no idea what happened “in heaven” before the record we have in Genesis. We only have have the account of creation and Prov 8:22-31. Jesus Christ is the “tree of life” whose fruit has always imparted truth, beginning with Adam and Eve in the garden. (Rev 2:7;22:2,14) Satan, is the symbolic “tree of knowledge”. At what point Satan rebelled against God, who knows, but we do know that God thoroughly warned Adam and Eve about him, about his teachings that would lead to death. (Gen 3:3) I don’t believe God “tested” Adam and Eve, but gave them free will, to choose life and not death, as he did with Satan and the demons. (James 1:13-17) Satan already had access to truth, to the living water of God. (Prov 14:27; John 4:10) I can’t see that he was tested with another source of "waters", but chose to abandon God, to fulfill his own lusts and selfish intentions, which will lead to his desctruction. God created life which imparts freedom. Satan used that freedom to fearlessly abandon the source of life, giving him the "key" to destruction and death. (Prov 27:20;Rev 9:1,11) Satan of the spirit realm or “heavens”, will be destroyed, so death will occur in “heaven”. Arauna brought out a good scripture in Gen 3:15. With that is, Ps 74:14 – “you crushed the heads of Leviathan; you fed him to the creatures of the desert.” Isa 27:1 – “On that day the LORD with his relentless, large, strong sword will bring judgment on Leviathan, the fleeing serpent -- Leviathan, the twisting serpent. He will slay the monster that is in the sea.” Isa 33:1 – “Woe, you destroyer never destroyed, you traitor never betrayed! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed. When you have finished betraying, they will betray you.” Other than what we view when looking up at the sky and call it, the heavens, there is a spiritual heaven that I don’t believe is a place, but a spiritual existence or state. An anointed one (“born again” 1 Pet 1:23) can be both “heavenly” and “earthly”. “Heavenly” as part of the New Covenant (Gal 6:26; Heb 12:22; Eph 2:6; Luke 10:20), …as the dwelling of God’s spirit (1 Cor 3:16; 1 Thess 4:8) …“earthly” as God’s owned land/home/field. (Jer 25:30; Acts 7:49; 1 Cor 3:9; Luke 8:15) …as well as “heavenly and earthly” as a new creation – both human and spirit. (2 Cor 5:17) They are spiritually under the authority of Christ – Matt 28:18 So, when it says.. “By the same word, the present heavens and earth are stored up for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. But based on his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.” 2 Pet 3:7,13 …the “new heavens” and “new earth” will be cleansed of all unrighteousness; which mean only those who are found with a “righteous” heart (both anointed - heavenly/earthly” - and those not anointed living on the earth, will receive eternal life. The WT leaders can only see things literally. They are blind to the deeper spiritual understanding of heaven. They have to literally envision thrones where a literal 144,000 are seated without taking into account that Jesus said, “the kingdom of God is within you” – within the heart of fertile ground. Yes, the GB appear to be "strict and righteous" as the presumed "faithful and discreet slave". Jesus focused on the individual and that one’s spiritual health. The GB/elder body appears to focus on the individual, (using scripture laced with WT doctrine) and I believe there are sincere elders who really try to “adjust” a sinner; yet, ultimately, the underlying decision to be made, is not according to the spiritual health of the sinner, but the projected appearance of the organization itself. So, shunning is established and the elders are finished with “readjusting”. If they can’t make this person mold to the decrees of the organization, (which they must) that person is no longer an active “part” of the congregation, or as we know, an active “part” of his or her family. If the organization's decrees and ruler-ship are challenged, when one is "healed" of their spiritual blindness and can see Jesus Christ and the Father much more clearly, they are "cast" out - shunned. It reminds me of the event in John chapter 9, and the blind man healed by Christ. The Pharisees were furious that this man confronted them with their own spiritual blindness. The man answered and said to them, “Why, this is a marvelous thing, that you do not know where He is from; yet He has opened my eyes! 31 Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. 32 Since the world began it has been unheard of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind. 33 If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing.” 34 They answered and said to him, “You were completely born in sins, and are you teaching us?” And they [f]cast him out. Excellent thought. Disfellowshipping is spiritual condemnation. At times the elders may admit they have wrongly condemned an individual, and it may take years before its notice. These events are rare. Condemning one's spirituality isn't to be taken lightly, but for the sake of the cleanliness of the organization, it is commonplace. "Judge[a] ("Condemn") not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what [b]judgment ("Condemnation") you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye." Matt 7:1-5

If I had been in that same congregation, (not a thousand miles away) I know that as a faithful elder's wife I would have not even conceived covering up the wrongdoing. Well, Arauna, believe what you want. I must tell you that I tend to agree with @4Jah2me that you are a very bitter person. I have my doubts about this statement of yours: "Sorry if I come across that way. I am the least bitter person you can ever meet. Sweet, friendly and open... no bitterness." But, I give you the benefit of the doubt, knowing you suffer from arthritis. One day can be good, the next, miserable. I know pain can be a barometer gauging one's attitude for the day. What kind of people? Repeat offenders? I've already covered that. I am sorry to say, you already mix with repeat offenders. It's quite obvious if you care to look. They are spiritual "harlots" who lead you in falsehoods. (Rev 13:11,12; 17:1-6) As I said earlier - Do you have the ability to read every heart? Does the elder body? Did Jesus shun sinners?
