After a highly successful Friday launch and recovery of a reused Falcon 9, a second vehicle is preparing to launch on the opposite coast of the United States. Scheduled to lift off at precisely 1:25 p.m. PST, this mission will see a brand new Falcon 9 lift Iridium’s second set of ten NEXT satellites, after which the first stage will attempt to land in the Pacific Ocean aboard Just Read The Instructions, SpaceX’s West Coast drone ship. If the schedule holds, the 46 hours separation between launches will make SpaceX one of very few entities to have launched the same vehicle in such close succession. While Russia/USSR and the Republic of China have tended to routinely launc…

1. "NICK'S" CHEESEBURGER WITH GRILLED ONIONS PORTLAND, OREGON The Portland burger trip was third out of 30 cities. I was relatively fresh and inexperienced. I didn't know how to plan my days, I didn't know how much of each burger to eat, I didn't know that you should never try and eat burgers on a Monday, (because restaurants are all closed), I didn't know anything. A few construction workers sat at a random table, barely paying attention to SportsCenter on the TV above. …

did-you-kno: Trespassing isn’t much of a thing in Norway. The country has a law called ‘allemannsretten,’ meaning ‘every man’s right’ or 'the right to roam,’ that dates back to ancient times and allows you to freely roam and camp on all uncultivated land- as long as you show respect for nature and pick up your trash. Eating fish may help reduce the joint pain and swelling of rheumatoid arthritis, a new study has found. Researchers studied 176 people in a larger health study who had had physical exams and blood tests and filled out food frequency questionnaires that indicated their consumption of various types of non-fried fish. The study, in Arthritis Care & Research, categorized the participants into groups by fish consumption: less than one serving a month, one a month, one to two a week, and more than two a week. To rate the severity of symptoms they used a “disease activity score” that assigns a number based on the degree of swelling and pain. Read more: https:/…
