  1. Yes, of course. G. Losh did when he received the subpoena to show in court. As a coward, he had his lawyers devise a "legitimate" excuse not to appear. With all your lawyerly background, did you have something to do with that? Yes, of course. And they pay the consequences. What does that have to do with it? They have, by hiding child abuse cases instead of reporting to the police where mandatory.
  2. Since this case has surfaced, I now understand the "fair use act" and what you say about the act is true. But, the WT may assertively follow secular laws of men as well as aggressively reject them; depending on whether they are useful to protect their image, or if they threaten to expose their image as "unclean". They seek to establish their own "righteousness"; which is ultimately, hypocrisy. Rom 10:3
  3. So, the GB most assuredly have been given divine knowledge beforehand, before Jesus tells them, that they will soon reign in heaven. They absolutely know this. But they don’t have any clue how they will be literally killed? And, why haven’t they given THIS information to the congregations – that they will be slaughtered soon enough, by some unknown entity, all for Christ’s namesake? Or, will Russia ,“the King of the North”, somehow kill them while they reside in Bethel? Remember, they said “before” Armageddon breaks out they will be in heaven. The organization will be left to the elders. Very little is ever said in the WT about dying for the sake of Jesus Christ; only when it comes to rejecting blood transfusions. More emphasis is put on the majority of JWs walking right out of Armgeddon’s bloody battles and into the ‘new world’. JWs are saved, while the rest of the world of mankind is killed…by Jesus Christ! No. The end time battle is about teachings – truth against lies. It is raging right now, and you are participating. Rom 8:37-39; 2 Cor 10:4,5; Eph 6:10,11; 1 Pet 5:8,9; James 4:7 You’re well aware that the organization takes it upon themselves to spiritually “kill” individuals for rejecting it and its headship. The same organization that spiritually “kills” through disfellowshipping anointed priests and thousands of others, will also spiritually “kill” the GB members. Soon, it will have had enough of their sins and lies, and who knows what else will be uncovered. God will put it into their hearts. Rev 17:17 Child abuse and lawsuits alone, may play a heavy hand in this seize of power. The organization will covet this power and stage a takeover. No doubt, many will return to the organization believing it will be reformed. However, both the Beast and its previous leadership/Harlot/false prophet will eventually go down. Rev 19:20 Perhaps there will be a false prediction of Watchtower’s version of Armageddon announced, and the GB will just disappear! After all, the ball is in their court to determine when Armageddon is set to arrive. Just speculating. Everything about the Beast from the Sea and its false prophet/Beast directing it, is fulfilled through the Watchtower… from the necessary dedication and identifying mark of the Beast/organization that begins with baptism and carries over into every aspect of a JW’s life Rev 13:16 the false prophet directs the Beast/organization Rev 13:12 the revered “worship” of the organization itself, as the only way to “life” since it is taught as belonging to the powerful Almighty God. Rev 13:4,8 the regulated buying and selling of spiritual food provided by the false prophet Rev 13:17 its image as “spirit-breathed” or spirit-directed Rev 13:15 – "Jehovah’s spirit-directed organization" the spiritual killing of those who refuse to bear its mark – the identity of a Jehovah’s Witness of the Watchtower organization Rev 13:15; 11:7 and its conquering of the “saints” through lies and blasphemy, by the heart of the beast – the elder body Rev 13:5-7 This end time message concerns “Israel” and those with them, just as God’s Bible message concerned the nation of Israel and any nations involved in the events of the time. You are deceived, and this deceptive ploy to exterminate God’s “Israel” is written in Revelation, Daniel, and warned about by Jesus Christ and the apostles, to come upon the remaining ones of the woman’s seed, in the last days. Dan 8:24; 12:7; 11:31; Matt 24:15,24; 2 Thess 2:3,4;9-12; Acts 20:29-30; Col 2:8; Rev 13:9;12:7 An anointed one can be found faithful and sealed even while still physically alive on earth. 2 Cor 1:22; Heb 12:22; Rev 7:4
  4. @Leander H. McNelly, I'm just curious, what’s with the “G-d”, Allen? You cannot say “God”, but you can say man’s invention of YHVH as “Jehovah”? But, that’s beside the point. You remarked that the GB are willing to die “for his name’s sake”. No. They are not. Do you not remember that G. Losh stated that soon, 'before Armageddon arrives', the “faithful and discreet slave” will be taken to heaven to reign with Christ? They don't believe they will die for Jesus Christ. They believe they already "reign" with him. Those who are willing to “die” for Jesus Christ have already done so at the hands of the dual power within your organization. The anointed and any who turn to Jesus Christ, as the Head of the anointed Body, (instead of your GB) are spiritually “killed” through disfellowshipping. Rom 8:33 Whenever someone rejects the headship of your GB, they are either shunned or disfellowshipped which really has the same result: 52 From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. 53 They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” Luke 12:52,53 No, I don’t believe the GB is “God”, but worship does not always require bending down on one’s knees. We can idolize a person or a thing by submitting ourselves as “slaves” to them. Now, if a person tells the elder body that they will listen only to Jesus Christ and not the GB, that person previously enslaved to men and the organization is cut down…”thrown out of the synagogue”. John 16:2; Eph 4:25;5:11; Rev 13:15 Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? Rom 6:16 Yes, Rev 13:11 is your GB. Rev 13:1,2 is your organization. That’s a really good question. Perhaps you should ask yourself why anyone who desires to serve only Jesus Christ and the Father are, by the organization rules, judged as “dead” by mere men? It is what to be expected in these last days, when following Jesus Christ. Rev 11:7; 13:15; Rev 6:9-11 So if, through your faith in Christ, you are dead to the principles of this world’s life, why, as if you were still part and parcel of this world-wide system, do you take the slightest notice of these purely human prohibitions—“Don’t touch this,” “Don’t taste that” and “Don’t handle the other”? “This”, “that” and “the other” will all pass away after use! I know that these regulations look wise with their self-inspired efforts at worship, their policy of self-humbling, and their studied neglect of the body. But in actual practice they do honour, not to God, but to man’s own pride. Col 2:20-23 2 Tim 4:3; 1 Tim 4:1; Rev 16:14,13,15,16
  5. For whose name sake? Are they willing to be disfellowshipped by their organization? The Bible speaks of such an event, about a Harlot spiritually "killed" by the organization "she" directs. Rev 13:11,12,15; 17:15-17,12,14
  6. It sure is, for all of us. I relate to what @4Jah2me said about developing a close relationship with the Father and Jesus since being out of the Watchtower. I have heard others who have left the organization say similar. The scriptures and the wisdom within them, begin to speak to us as never before. It reminds me of 1 Cor 1:20-25 "Where is the wise person? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe. 22 For indeed, Jews ask for sign miracles and Greeks seek wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a cause for stumbling, but to the Gentiles foolishness, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength." I do cherish Proverbs 8 where we can spiritually visualize the wisdom of God and Jesus Christ.
  7. True religion is based on Truth from Christ, which results in those attributes. Christ provides those who remain in him, with that wisdom. But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peaceable, reasonable, ready to obey, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, not hypocritical. 18 Moreover, the fruit of righteousness is sown in peaceful conditions for those who are making peace. James 3:10-18 is all about the “wisdom” from God – His Word fulfilled in Christ who said, “My doctrine/”teaching” is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. John 7:16,17 That doctrine is what we must be “ready to obey”. “Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.” John 14:24 Jesus, as the Word, was the perfect example of displaying the "good qualities" sourced in Holy Spirit. Isa 48:17 - Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. It is all about doctrine, teachings, fruit. If we are not taught spiritual wisdom – TRUTH - from anointed “trees”, but instead are taught and practice the opposite of wisdom, which is foolishness revealed in falsehoods that come out of their mouth…and that we readily accept into our mind and heart... how can we say we practice righteous faith, love, joy that is acceptable to God? (Micah 6:8) A spring does not cause the fresh water and the bitter water to bubble out of the same opening, does it? 12 My brothers, a fig tree cannot produce olives, or a grapevine figs, can it? Neither can salt water produce fresh water. 13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” John 4:11 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” John 7:38 No one can produce “living water” from a clean heart, unless that heart has received truth and wisdom, from God through Christ. Has the GB who lead millions of people with their wavering teachings, received this truth and wisdom? “Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding irreverent and empty speech and contradictions from what is falsely called knowledge. 21 By professing it, some people have departed from the faith. 1 Tim 6:20,21 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Matt 5:46,47 The spirit of Christ is Truth. “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:23,24 “We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.” 1 John 4:6 “This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.” 1 John 5:6 We learn the “good fruit” of the doctrine/teachings of Christ, in order to practice true religion - to worship God in the Spirit and in truth. The Greek word for "religion" means "religious worship". Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained from the world. James 1:27 Mankind, he has told each of you what is good and what it is the Lord requires of you: to act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8
  8. I believe the NWT’s choice to use “fruitage” over “fruit” is deceiving. It changes the intent of the scripture. “Fruitage” indicates a process that leads to a result. JWs believe their actions are the result of Holy Spirit within them. The Greek word used is “karpos”, and is the same word used by Christ here: “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. Matt 7:15-20 If a good “tree” cannot produce bad fruit, or a bad tree, good fruit, then the tree carries within it one sort of spirit – either from Jesus Christ as truth, or from Satan the liar. John 8:44; John 16:13 Fruit represents teachings spoken by anointed “trees”. Ps 104:16; Ezek 47:12; Rev 11:4; Zech 4:12-14; Rev 22:2 Fruit produced by those who “remain” in Christ, imparts love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control within themselves and in those who ingest this fruit provided by Holy Spirit. “ There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Eph 4:4 So, Gal 5:22,23 speaks of the blessings of “good fruit” from symbolic anointed “trees” who reside in Christ. John 15:1-4 "A good man ("tree") brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. Luke 6:45 Doctrine in the WT changes continually, which indicates clearly that they are producing bad fruit. How can any JW deny this, if he or she reads Jesus' words? The scriptures show us that the “fruitage” of the GB, will result in their downfall. Rev 16:13,14; 19:20 "The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire." Matt 3:10 http://pearl-finetrees.blogspot.com/
  9. Those of Rev 17:14 wouldn’t be there if they were not obedient to BOTH the Father and the Son. Have you read this lately? 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you had known me, you would have know my Father also. From now on you know him and have seen him.” 8 Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Am I with you so long a time and you have not known me, Philip? The one who has seen me has seen the Father! How can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’ 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak from myself, but the Father residing in me does his works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; but if not, believe because of the works themselves. John 14:6-11 And this? “Everyone who comes to me and listens to my words and does them—I will show you what he is like: 48 he is like a man building a house, who dug and went down deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood came, the river burst against that house and was not able to shake it, because it had been built well. 49 But the one who hears my words and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation, which the river burst against, and immediately it collapsed—and the collapse of that house was great!” Luke 6:47-49 Your words could not be any more truthful about your GB. If they set down “decrees” necessary to maintain the seamless operation of the organization; and you are expected to follow them, have you maintained “the spiritual stance of obedience to the almighty”, or have you become obedient to men’s teachings about “organization”? How do they practice “hate and division”? Through their malicious words against the anointed. Through the prejudice act of disfellowshipping. For marking one as dead, who reject the commandments of men. Jesus prophesied of this to happen. If we obey Christ, we expect division to take place among our own people. Matt 24:9; 19:29; 16:25; Luke 12:51-53; Matt 5:10-12 And the Lord said, “Because this people draw near with its mouth, and with its lips it honors me, and its heart is far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men that has been taught,… The JW heart, the foundation of their very soul, has men’s faulty doctrine harbored within it, and they keep drinking it in. Rev 8:10,11 To you, “truth” is relative according to what your GB/elders teach in each new year. To me, “truth” comes strictly from Jesus Christ. This, is what they should be teaching. John 15:5 Anything they add or take away from Christ’s words, they add and take away from the ability of JWs to know the Father. Matt 23:13 They are adding and taking away from the Word of God in like manner of the Pharisees. “Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.” Deut 4:2 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.” Matt 19:17 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matt 22:34-40 What is the difference with “Israel’s" leaders today? They wear a face of deception; that appears innocent and humble. Acts 20:29,30; 2 Cor 11:4,13-15 Yet, they are “wise in their own eyes”, not in the eyes of God. Isa 5:21; Matt 24:4,5,24 They judge according to their commandments, just as the Pharisees did. Matt 23:4; 15:7-9 And they have the gall to compare themselves to Moses - a prophet of God. How dare these men defy the words of Christ. … therefore look, I am again doing something spectacular and a spectacle with this spectacular people. And the wisdom of its wise men shall perish, and the discernment of its discerning ones shall keep itself hidden.” 15 Ah! Those who make a plan deep, to hide it from YHWH, and their deeds are in a dark place. And they say, “Who sees us? And who knows us?” 16 Your perversity! As if a potter shall be regarded as the clay! That the product of its maker says, “He did not make me,” and the thing made into shape says of its potter, “He has no understanding.” Isa 29:13-16 How arrogantly bold of the uninspired GB, to teach that their words supersede the words of Christ – who IS THE WORD OF GOD. John 1:1 “For wicked people are found among my people, they lie in wait like the hiding of fowlers, they set up a trap, they catch humans. (Col 2:8; Rev 13:10) 27 Like a cage full of birds, so their houses are full of fraud. Therefore they have become great, and they have become rich. 28 They have grown fat, they have grown sleek, also, their evil deeds have no limit. They do not judge with justice, the legal cause of the orphan, or allow it to succeed, and the legal case of the poor, they do not defend. 29 Because of these things shall I not punish?” declares Yahweh, “and on a nation who is like this, shall I not take revenge? 30 A horrific event and something horrible has happened in the land. 31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule by their own authority, and my people love it so much. (2 Thess 2:9-12) But what will you do when the end comes? Jer 5:26-31
  10. I find this a strange thing to say. None of us are "worthy" to receive an anointing. It guarantees nothing. We can lose the "pouring out" of Holy Spirit. Matt 7:15,16,18,19,20-22 ; Rom 5:5 Anointed are called, chosen and then found "faithful" to serve Christ. 1 Cor 1:9; 1 Pet 1:15; 2 Thess 2:13; 2 Pet 1:10; Luke 16:10; Matt 25:14,15; Rev 17:14 It is a journey of testing, purification and sanctification - a path of holiness that never ends. Rev 22:11 The question should be, will any of us anointed or not, be found "worthy" to receive eternal life; since all in the Kingdom will be called God's children.
  11. Korah was in the wrong, not Moses. When the GB and the organization as a whole, is in the wrong, why would we compare ourselves to Korah? Jesus is our example to follow. He never backed down to the Pharisees' lies. If we say we follow Jesus, we would never back down either. Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; They speak a vision of their own heart, Not from the mouth of the Lord. 17 They continually say to those who despise Me, ‘The Lord has said, “You shall have peace” ’; And to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say, ‘No evil shall come upon you.’ ” 18 For who has stood in the counsel of the Lord, And has perceived and heard His word? Who has marked His word and heard it? 19 Behold, a whirlwind of the Lord has gone forth in fury A violent whirlwind! It will fall violently on the head of the wicked. 20 The anger of the Lord will not turn back Until He has executed and performed the thoughts of His heart. In the latter days you will understand it perfectly. 21 “I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. 22 But if they had stood in My counsel, And had caused My people to hear My words, Then they would have turned them from their evil way And from the evil of their doings. “Am I a God near at hand,” says the Lord, “And not a God afar off? 24 Can anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see him?” says the Lord; “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord. “I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in My name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’ 26 How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart, 27 who try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor, as their fathers forgot My name for Baal. 28 “The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; And he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat?” says the Lord. 29 “Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? 30 “Therefore behold, I am against the prophets,” says the Lord, “who steal My words every one from his neighbor. 31 Behold, I am against the prophets,” says the Lord, “who use their tongues and say, ‘He says.’ 32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” says the Lord, “and tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send them or command them; therefore they shall not profit this people at all,” says the Lord. Jer 23:16-32
  12. Yes, it is true. By reading Malachi 3, we can see that this “Elijah”/messenger stresses the purification from sin as John the Baptist did; and the reuniting of God’s anointed priests, who are the Body of Christ: “I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the Lord Almighty. 2 But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner’s fire or a launderer’s soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. (Rev 3:18) Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness, 4 and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the Lord, as in days gone by, as in former years." After the Jews were released from captivity of Babylon, Nehemiah, Ezra, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi and Zerubabbel, all had a part in the restoration of the Temple; which restored pure worship to the people. The WT use to believe the anointed were an “Elijah class”; and through them, pure worship was restored: 2002/5/1 pg 22 Malachi’s prophecy showed that this great Elijah work would be done before “the great and fear-inspiring day of Jehovah.” That day concludes with the rapidly approaching war of the great day of God the Almighty, at Armageddon. This means that the end of this wicked system of things and the beginning of the Millennial Reign of God’s heavenly Kingdom under the enthroned Jesus Christ would be preceded by a work corresponding to the activity of Elijah. True to that prophecy, before Jehovah destroys this wicked system, the modern-day Elijah class, supported by millions of fellow Christians with an earthly hope, enthusiastically carry on the work of restoring pure worship, exalting the name of Jehovah, and teaching Bible truths to sheeplike ones. I believe it was in 2015, A mere thirteen years later, the “Elijah class” became defunct. From the book, “Jesus, the Way, the Truth, the Life” pg 145: Elijah’s appearance in the vision raises a question. “Why,” the apostles ask, “do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?” Jesus replies: “Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him.” (Matthew 17:10-12) Jesus is speaking about John the Baptist, who fulfilled a role similar to Elijah’s. Elijah prepared the way for Elisha, and John did so for Christ. There is no focus on an “Elijah” in the last days. Deftly, they have dismissed both Matt 17:11 and Mark 9:12 11 Jesus replied, “To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things. Jesus replied, “To be sure, Elijah does come first, and restores all things. Why then is it written that the Son of Man must suffer much and be rejected?” Obviously, these scriptures were clearly observed in the Wt. for many years, but now, they choose not to recognize them; either from spiritual blindness, or self-preservation and survival of their idol. I believe it to be both. These scriptures have to do with the anointed priests as the living temple. (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; 2 Cor 6) “Restoration” of God’s Temple today would require a bonding of the anointed, of which they are told not to do by GB/elders. It would require their having a voice concerning whether teachings are in harmony with truth; which is impossible when they are not to “challenge” the GB’s decisions. It would require their position as a priesthood as active, offering to God the “daily sacrifices” that were removed by the “Gentile” elder body that they presently must obey. (Dan 8:11) Their bonding under one Head, Jesus Christ, would restore “pure worship” to the people. (Mal 2:7) It would restore Truth in Christ. (John 15:4) Instead, the temple has been given over to the “Gentile” elder body. (Ezek 44:6-9; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2) Restoration happens outside of the Wt through those anointed who been “killed” by the Beast/organization (Rev 13:15; 11:13,7 ) They who join together in truth, are the “remnant” found faithful to Christ; yet, their spiritual "death" proves they are victorious over the "Beast". (Rev 15:2-4) Ironically, the new book, Pure Worship of Jehovah—Restored At Last! centers on Ezekiel’s prophesy and how to, “worship Jehovah in the way that he approves, bringing our lives into harmony with his lofty standards.” (from the letter from the GB) When I think of the sins against victims of pedophiles alone, my stomach churns when reading such arrogance. But also, have the organization’s leaders brought their lives into harmony with God’s “lofty standards” through Christ concerning God’s Temple? If they were loyal to Christ and the Father, and not to themselves, they would not “beat their fellow slave” for rejecting their spiritual food – their spiritual ‘commerce’. Matt 24:48-51; Rev 13:11,16,17) They would “restore” God’s Temple, instead of trampling it down and causing “truth” to be thrown to the ground. (Dan 8:12) Instead, the governing leaders promote their growing idol, built on a foundation of lies and 'blaspheming' God's Temple/sanctuary as they do so. (Matt 7:26; Rev 13:1,2,5-8) Prophets are part of God’s Temple foundation (Eph 2:20-22); the apostles as prophets as well as all the prophets from old. They spoke God’s truth, which is what the “city of God”, "New Jerusalem" is – a holy "city" of Truth. This is what the LORD says: “I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of Hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.” Zech 8:3 The “Elijah”/"Moses" Jesus sends in the last days is spoken of in Rev 11:1-3. The result of that one’s call and all who join this “Elijah”, "measure” the Temple by speaking Christ's truth. Each member/living stone is “measured” in this way, proving their worth before God. They are measured according to God’s standards of Truth, through Jesus Christ, not according to those of men. (Matt 25:1-13) Dear Kosonen, I hope that you, as a “living stone” of God’s Temple, (1 Pet 2:5,9) perceive that this restoration is more important than anything occurring within in the world of politics and religion. https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2013/09/two-witnesses-elijah-and-moses.html
  13. "The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down— 21 those who with a word make someone out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice." Isa 29:20,21 Peter Kelso National Redress Scheme February 19, 2020 Government will strip the charity status from churches who miss the National Redress Scheme deadline Minister for Families and Social Services, Ms Anne Ruston says the government may strip charity status from churches and organisations that fail to sign up to the National Redress Scheme. They will also lose tax exemption status. Senator Ruston said the government had accepted “every recommendation that we are able to accept” in its response to the standing committee’s recommendations for the Scheme it returned on Monday, and that it should be announced publicly within 48 hours. She also said about 700 victims’ applications have had to be put on hold because there is no organisation signed up to match them with. Many organisations (such as Swimming Australia) aren’t signing up due to fears of becoming bankrupt. One major group which has not signed up to the Redress Scheme is the Jehovah’s Witnesses (the JW’s). The Royal Commission heard that 1,006 plausible complaints of child sexual abuse had been received by the JW’s in Australia but no alleged perpetrators had been reported to the police. It appears that the JW’s would have a substantial financial exposure if it joined the Scheme. Alternatively, the JW’s may be stripped of its charity status if it fails to sign up by the 30 June 2020 deadline. The JW’s have refused to remove sex offenders from congregations unless the victim can produce a second witness. The organisation was criticized for its ‘Second Witness Rule’ by the Royal Commission. The JW’s global operations are controlled by a Governing Body of eight men from JW headquarters in Warwick, New York State, USA. The decision to join or not to join the Redress Scheme is the responsibility of the US Governing Body. JW’s have a history of distrust of the government, refusing to vote and avoiding military service. They are banned in China, Russia, Singapore and most Muslim majority countries. They are most active in the USA, Mexico and Brazil. JW’s were once banned in Canada. On the other hand, Hillsong Church and the leading Pentecostal umbrella group, Australian Christian Churches, have all signed up to the National Redress Scheme. (Hillsong Church is now a separate legal entity from ACC). The addition of non-government institutions, including Hillsong Church, Australian Christian Churches (ACC), C3 Churches, Churches of Christ, Baptists, Christian Schools Australia and Barnardo’s Australia, has more than doubled the number of non-government groups in the scheme from 67 to 162 in one year. 14. And at the end of their kingdom, when the transgressions are completed, a king will arise, fierce in countenance and skilled in riddles. 24 And his power will grow, but not by his own power, and he will cause fearful destruction, and he will succeed and he will act, and he will destroy the mighty and the saints. 25 And by his planning(“cunning”) he will make a success of deceit by his hand, and in his heart he will magnify himself and in their ease he will destroy many, and even against the prince of princes he will rise up, and he will be broken, but not by human hands. “fierce” - strong, vehement, harsh:—fierce, greedy, mighty, power, roughly, strong. Sure, Trump looks like that, but his looks are not deceiving to the holy people/saints who are conquered by the man of lawlessness. It is “skilled in riddles”, or intrigue, or can perceive… “a puzzle, hence, a trick, conundrum, sententious maxim:—dark saying (sentence, speech), hard question, proverb, riddle.” Trump may create riddles when he speaks, but many times he can’t even perceive what he said. Has he tricked the "saints" with his riddles? The Wild Beast/man of lawlessness (Rev 13:18) is given power by the false prophet of Rev 13:11: Dan 8:24 - “And his power will grow, but not by his own power, and he will cause fearful destruction, and he will succeed and he will act” “It (false prophet) exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed” Rev 13:12 If the man of lawlessness comes against the Prince of princes, Jesus Christ, how is that possible when Christ is in heaven? It is through God’s “new creation” of spirit-born “heavenly” anointed saints who are part of his Body. 2 Cor 5:17; Eph 2:19-22 But, the takeover happens when the saints are “at ease”, at peace: security (genuine or false):—abundance, peace(-ably), prosperity, quietness. 1 Thess 5:1-3: “Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need of anything to be written to you, 2 for you yourselves well know that the day of the Lord is coming in the same way as a thief in the night. 3 Whenever they say “Peace and security,” then sudden destruction will overtake them like the birth pains of a pregnant woman, and they will not possibly escape.” “Now we ask you, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our assembling to him, 2 that you not be easily shaken from your composure, nor be troubled either by a spirit or by a message or by a letter alleged to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has arrived. 3 Do not let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and who exalts himself over every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits down in the temple of God, proclaiming that he himself is God.” 2 Thess 2:3,4 The times and seasons have always been the WT’s agenda. The day of the Lord is said to have occurred in 1914. “Peace” and “security” are offered through the organization – the organization that more than ever before, blasphemes the anointed Temple of God by replacing God’s priests and their “daily sacrifice” of praise, and by the given authority to the elder body to spiritually judge God’s true priesthood. Rev 13:15 The elder body is exalted while the anointed in Christ are lost and silenced somewhere inside. It is rebellion against the Prince of princes. It is the Wild Beast of the Sea whom all within its walls, revere. If you could only see this, Kosonen. Who is like the Beast/Watchtower? Who can make war with "Jehovah's organization"? See Rev 13:4 While the anointed reflect the spirit-directed image of God’s Zion, (1 Cor 3:16,17) the elder body reflect the spirit-directed image of the organization/idol ALSO known as earthly Zion- a counterfeit of the true Zion/Temple of God. Rev 13:15 The man of lawless comes against the saints when they are in a peaceful setting. So does Gog and Magog, who are the two Beasts of Revelation 13. Ezek 38:14-16; Rev 20:7-10 And the locust army of Joel 2:1-3 and Rev 9:2,3 They are all descriptive accounts of the "man of lawlessness" in the last days.
  15. Yes, anyone, anointed or not anointed, can leave Christ and become disobedient to his teachings. Demas is a good example of someone who left Jesus’ teachings for the “things in the world” – the world at that time period and its religious environment. 2 Tim 4:10; 1 John 2:15 I agree that in the first century there were people chosen by God through the anointing of Holy Spirit as “firstfruits” – the first of the children of God. They were those whom Christ promised to send with good news (John 13:20; Matt 10:14; James 1:18) And many became believers in Christ who were baptized with water. They received Jesus and understood his words, through the blessing of Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38-41 The last supper of Christ was attended by only his close disciples - it was they who entered the "New Covenant". Many believed in Christ and were baptized, but he did not invite all to be his Bride; who as the fulfilled covenant of life, would with Christ bring life to all in the Kingdom. (Isa 42:6; 2:2-4; John 15:16; Luke 2:32; Acts 13:47; Rom 4:13; Rev 21:1-4) All believers receive the promise of life through the New Covenant, but at different times. Paul stated: “For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.” Rom 8:19-23 (Zech 4:8-10) With that revealing of the Bride/anointed sons of “Israel”/”144,000”, “freedom and glory” comes to the rest of God’s children in the Kingdom. Rev 22:17 The problem is what the GB is telling all of you. It appears to me that Splane is building a case to give credence for a change about to happen. The more I ponder on it, the more it appears that the 144,000 teaching as applying to just the anointed will be eliminated. Here is the foundation for the stage being set: WT 2016, Jan. pg 24-26 Jehovah began choosing anointed ones after Jesus was resurrected. It seems that in the first century, all true Christians were anointed. For hundreds of years after that, most of those who said that they were Christians did not really follow Christ. Even so, during those years, Jehovah anointed those few who were true Christians. Four years later, we find almost word-for-word, the same quote: WT 2020, Jan. pg 30-31: Jehovah began choosing anointed ones after Jesus was resurrected. It seems that in the first century, all true Christians were anointed. In the centuries that followed, most of those who claimed that they were Christians did not really follow Christ. Even so, during those years, Jehovah anointed the few who were true Christians. In his talk, Splane compares the numbers of growth of only anointed in the first century, to the amount of newly baptized ones from 1983 onward; emphasizing again, the number “144,000” which ordinarily applies to the anointed in WT's teachings. I believe the question is, what will JWs think if the teaching is dropped totally. What will the anointed who are with you, feel about this? Already, there is no anointed priesthood utilized by God in the organization, except for the GB. (1 Pet 2:5,9; Mal 2:7) Elders are honored, while anointed are told to be humble and quiet. They are told not to share their anointing with anyone, or to bond together as an anointed group. (Isa 29:4) “And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about.” 2 Cor 11:2 And, elders not anointed have the authority to judge an anointed/dwelling of God’s Spirit/ as deserving of a spiritual death. (1 Cor 3:16,17) (John 16:2; Rom 14:4; Rev 13:15) Splane remarks that there are no gifts of the spirit, but "Gentile" elders not of “Israel” are somehow appointed by God as your leaders, as “gifts in men”. Can you imagine any anointed ones in the first century tolerating this type of oppression against them? “I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, does not receive us. 10 Therefore, if I come, I will call to mind his deeds which he does, talking nonsense against us with malicious words. And not content with that, he himself does not receive the brethren, and forbids those who wish to, putting them out of the church.” 3 John 1:9-10 God's priesthood is conquered in the last days, not by a literal army holding guns, but by malicious, blasphemous words against them. (Rev 13:5-7) (Num 18:7; 2 Chron 13:9) Already, it has been mentioned by the elders that every JW is part of the Body of Christ, which was once truthfully, taught as comprised of the anointed “Bride” to come. (1 Cor chapter 12; 2 Cor 11:2; Eph 2:20-22) If all JWs are subsequently told they are the “temple” of God, as S. Herd has stated, there will be very little difference between WT’s teachings and those in Christendom. The Temple, dwelling of God, is the symbolic 144,000. (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; 2 Cor 6:16; Eph 2:20-22; Rev 14:1) God's holy people have only been conquered by any nation, when they have sinned. This was the result of false teachings and idolatry. Since the organization holds out the promise of salvation over and above Jesus Christ alone, (John 14:6) what do you think God and Christ feel about the actions of their anointed priesthood today submitting to lies said about them? Who are the anointed ones fallen from God's favor? Isn't it those who preach falsehoods that you admittedly recognize? (Rev 8:10,11; 17:1; 13:11; Matt 24:24) False prophets were among God’s people in the past, as false teachers will be among you. They will secretly bring in their own destructive teachings. They will deny the Lord, who has bought them, and they will bring themselves swift destruction. 2 Many people will follow them in their destructive waysand will cause others to dishonor the way of truth. 3 In their greed they will use good-sounding arguments to exploit you. The verdict against them from long ago is still in force, and their destruction is not asleep." 2 Pet 2:1-3 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 https://pearl-disgustingthing.blogspot.com/
  16. God said His WORD is like fire. Jer 23:29; Heb 12:29; Ps 29:7 It is a symbol of authority - power. Do you see a literal dragon of Revelation breathing literal fire through its pawns/false prophet and organization? Rev 13:1,2,11,12 The "two witnesses" of Revelation 11 breath "fire from their mouths". Is this literal; or is it instead their speaking the Word of God? Rev 11:1-5 Satan's false prophet of Rev 13:11,12 has been given the authority to speak Satan's "fire", from the "dragon" to DECEIVE and captivate its listeners with lies. Rev 16:13,14 Rev 13:10 - Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. This is the number of the BEAST of Revelation 13:1,2, and is the "man of lawlessness". ánthrōpos – "man, also the generic term for "mankind"; the human race; people, including women and men (Mt 4:19, 12:12, etc.). The Wild Beast from the Sea is an organization of people; yet, at its heart is a controlling force comprised of an "army" that conquers the saints. Isa 57:20; Rev 13:5-8 Why is this Beast given three sixes? 1. The spirit-force that drives it: And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, 2. The Beast itself that speaks fire from Satan: "out of the mouth of the beast" 3. The Beast from the Earth/false prophet that directs the Beast and also speaks fire from Satan: "and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Rev 16:13,14 Do you think you have led others to believe what you thought was true? As JWs, we were led to believe in wrong assumptions also. "In the past, we thought that the great tribulation began in 1914 when World War I started. We thought that Jehovah “cut short” those days in 1918 when the war ended so that the remaining anointed ones on earth could preach the good news to all nations. (Matthew 24:21, 22) After that preaching work would be completed, we expected that Satan’s world would be destroyed. So we thought that there were three parts to the great tribulation. It would begin in 1914, it would be interrupted in 1918, and it would finish at Armageddon. ws13 7/15 p. 3-4"
  17. David Splane continues: “By the end of the century, he certainly had shown he had blessed the efforts of the brothers, do you know that every year since 1983 more than 144,000 have been baptized each year and our brothers today don’t have the gifts of the spirit. So what does this indicate? It indicates that Jehovah has made a mighty outpouring of his spirit in these last days. It’s a marvelous thing to behold. When you think of it, we sort of had our explanation backwards in the past, because in the past the idea was that the spirit was poured out in 1919 and the locust went to work because the locust were Jehovah’s people. But that’s not what the Bible says, is it. The Bible says the locust finished their work and after that the spirit is poured out. “ The change in the locust identity was made in 2019. The “mighty outpouring” of holy spirit has now become evident as beginning in 1983 onward. This was the teaching of the locust in 1989: Joel’s prophecy gives us even more food for thought. Why, “the great and fear-inspiring day of Jehovah” is imminent! Mankind must be warned. Like the locusts in Joel’s prophecy, Jehovah’s Witnesses devastate Christendom by relentlessly exposing her spiritually barren state. This arouses the fury and opposition of her leaders, but any wall-like obstacles they try to set in the path of the symbolic locusts prove ineffective. Jehovah has poured out his spirit upon his people, equipping them to announce his judgments. Therefore, in the short time remaining before God’s fear-inspiring day, let us have a full share in helping others to ‘call on the name of Jehovah so as to get away safe.’ w89 3/15 pp. 30-31 The same year - 1989 “They have a modern Governing Body of older Christian men from various parts of the earth who give needed oversight to the worldwide activities of God's people. these men, like the apostles and older men in Jerusalem in the first century, are anointed members of the faithful and discreet slave class designated by Jesus to care for all of his Kingdom interests here upon earth. History has proved that they can be trusted to follow the direction of the holy spirit and that they do not rely on human wisdom in teaching the flock of God the ways of genuine peace. (The Watchtower; Dec. 15, 1989; p. 6) Well, no. They can’t be trusted whatsoever, because THEY taught that JW “locusts” were devastating Christendom in 1989, six years after Splane says the Holy Spirit was beginning to be “poured out” onto the organization. They rely totally on human wisdom. There is a Spirit of Truth and a spirit of falsehood. (1 John 4:6) David Splane harbors the spirit of falsehood. Luke 6:45
  18. You are so polished at blame-shifting, not even addressing the topic. It's okay that you are lied to, by men who are getting rich through their tried and true scheming methods that fleece the flock. I've known many a JW who became involved in "get rich quick" schemes, struggling to make ends meet and promised lucrative returns; but instead, being taken by their own spiritual brothers. I suppose they will pay also, just as you say Winston will? But, lets sweep all of WT's lies under the carpet with their pedophile issues, their failed doctrines taught for years; and new doctrine that JWs swallow down with no problem, because they are so use to being lied to. Let's focus on Winston instead.
  19. Obviously you cannot perceive a change of a doctrine as old as the WT itself, waiting to happen. It was your GB David Splane who spearheaded the comparison of centuries, anointed, and the number “144,000”. His words" “…Pentacost 33 ce. Jehovah poured out his spirit and at the end of that day there were 3,000 publishers of the kingdom. And did Jehovah bless their zealous activity. He certainly did, because by the end of the century, thousands (with emphasis) had become obedient to the word. How many thousands? We don’t know. The Bible doesn’t say, but we do know it would have to be a lot less than 144,000, because the search for kingdom heirs was going in the first century and it wasn’t nearly complete by the end of the first century, yet their zealous activity of those 3,000 that began preaching the good news that zealous activity was blessed by Jehovah God, and thousands became obedient to the word. Well now can we see a little bit of a parallel here. 1919. In 1919 according to official records, there were fewer than 6,000 publishers of the good news. But has Jehovah blessed the efforts of those 6,000 publishers? By the end of the century, he certainly had shown he had blessed the efforts of the brothers, do you know that every year since 1983 more than 144,000 have been baptized each year and our brothers today don’t have the gifts of the spirit. An anointed one can “apostatize” even after his or her anointing. 1 John 2:19; Rev 2:5 Anyone can leave Christ after they have once believed. And, using your analogy, how many of these “more than 144,000” each year from 1983 to the end of the 20th century, “apostatized” from the organization? Why is Splane comparing the number of anointed by the end of first century, to the general number of those baptized into the organization? He is using Joel 2:28,29, saying even though the organization believed that the locusts were God's people, NOW they realize otherwise. So...in the face of a lie, God decided in 1983 to "poured out his spirit" onto the organization, resulting in the large influx of members through the rest of the century. This is so twisted. His words were, "and our brothers today don’t have the gifts of the spirit". Anointed ones are given the gifts of the spirit, so he is outright lying. Ironically, Eph 4 speaks of these gifts, as gifts TO men. Yet, WHO is taught as “gifts in men” in the Watchtower? The elder body. "Christ also gave to the congregation “gifts in men”—elders to shepherd God’s flock" WT 18/3/pp 28-32 NKJV Eph 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in [c]you all. 7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 8 Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men.” And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love." So, what’s your GB members up to with all of their comparisons and lies? The literal number of 144000 was not reached at the end of the first century; yet since 1983, more than "144,000" have been baptized each year, of whom none of them apparently have gifts of the spirit. If the GB are not inspired, no one is. If anything, 144,000 will become a symbolic number and will include anyone and everyone, however they choose to classify it.
  20. Oh dear. I know you think I'm nuts, suffering from WDS, (should you trademark this?), but I think you've been ingesting too much of WT's twisted teachings. 🙂 Oh, that could also be a sign of WDS! That's right, I remember you said the sword cuts both ways. I do care for you, and I wonder just why you remain "in" there. The Kingdom will not arrive on the wings of the WT, but maybe it doesn't matter to you one way or the other.
  21. @4Jah2me, I think you understand the role of the anointed as the holy priesthood and "living stones" of God's Temple. (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:19-22) Samuel Herd once said, "all" JWs are part of God's Temple, not just the anointed ones. This also, leads me to believe that the "144,000" doctrine is soon to change.
  22. The video is in regard to David Splane’s talk at the Annual Convention, 2019. Here is the link from the JW website. https://www.jw.org/en/library/videos/#en/mediaitems/VODPgmEvtAnnMtg/pub-jwb_202001_3_VIDEO At the 7:55 mark, Splane is introduced to give his talk about the locusts – and who they really represent, according to WT("new light") In case you missed it, the locusts in the book of Joel are no longer considered God’s people. This alone was pretty shocking to the man making the video, that the locust army was ever taught at one point to be God’s anointed people. At around the 20 minute mark of the video on jw org, you can tune in to see what Splane is saying about the “144,000”. The commenter (who is not American but from Jamaica), breaks down Splane’s subtle reasoning, which is well worth listening to in order to understand my comment. Below is the picture of the 24 elders in heaven that I was referring to in my comment, in which there is no mention of the anointed ones in the Watchtower article. This is my take on it. The elder body as the “man of lawlessness” has complete power over the anointed today. We know this. We are aware that the spirit-anointed ones of God's Temple (1 Cor 3:16,17) can be judged by those not anointed. This was prophesied to occur in the last days. 2Thess.2:4; Matt.24:15; Eze.44:6,7,8,9; Ec.10:5,6,7; Lam.1:10; Isa 66:5,6; 2Chron.13:9; 23:6; Rev.11:1,2; Dan.8:10,13; 7:7,19; 11:16,28,31,32,33,36,37,39; 12:11; Isa.14:13; Rev.13:7,8,15; 9:3,7 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2Thess.2%3A4%3B%C2%A0Matt.24%3A15%3B%C2%A0Eze.44%3A6%2C7%2C8%2C9%3B%C2%A0Ec.10%3A5%2C6%2C7%3B%C2%A0Lam.1%3A10%3B+Isa+66%3A5%2C6%3B%C2%A0+2Chron.13%3A9%3B%C2%A023%3A6%3B%C2%A0Rev.11%3A1%2C2%3B%C2%A0Dan.8%3A10%2C13%3B%C2%A07%3A7%2C19%3B%C2%A011%3A16%2C28%2C31%2C32%2C33%2C36%2C37%2C39%3B%C2%A012%3A11%3B%C2%A0Isa.14%3A13%3B%C2%A0Rev.13%3A7%2C8%2C15%3B%C2%A09%3A3%2C7&version=NIV
  23. Did the Jesus own land? Did the apostles invest in land? Or, did they provide for the poor among them; even selling their possessions to do so? "No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse. 17 Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.” Matt 9:16,17 But there are those who say, "The old is better". Luke 5:39
  24. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxUV5Y-u3fY I’ve listened to this video a few times. He makes good points, and although I am not sure what the organization’s intent is, I must agree with the maker of the video, that a change, a new teaching/”new light” appears to be afoot. Will the doctrine of the “144,000” become an unlimited number to accommodate the massive “Gentile” elder body? I say this, because the 2017 March Watchtower study magazine speaks highly of the elder body, stressing to give honor where it is “due”. The captivating drawing depicts the symbolic “24 elders” of Revelation 4:10,11 laying their crowns before the throne of God. The article does not mention the “144,000” sealed anointed as those depicted in the picture; thus, through default – through subliminal suggestion - who is thought to be the “24 elders” depicted deceitfully by this article? I believe it is the “man of lawlessness” that sits in/rules and “tramples” God’s Temple/sanctuary priesthood– the “Gentile” elder body.
