Maybe, you should ask a JW after they hear both Jackson and Travis Brooks give their weather-related accounts. That will give you your most accurate answer. Jackson: “We truly have seen Jehovah’s hand in helping the project” How? “Just one example”… that Jackson enhanced upon was, how the weather cooperated with the production of the Bible. Who then, controlled the weather that summer? “Jehovah” Travis Brooks – “Jehovah’s blessing is the most important thing we can have on our projects”. What was the greatest blessing to finish the work? Sand, delivered by a typhoon, at the hand of "Jehovah". What does the average JW think when hearing both of these examples? God provides, through the actions of weather when the organization is facing an obstacle...relief or aid, through a weather-related event.

I have always wondered why Jesus said, “foxes have dens”, in particular. It reminds me of Luke 13:31,32 when he called Herod a “fox”. At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, “Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you.” 32 He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’ So, Herod sent the Pharisees, and their response was pretty devious, as if they had some concern for Jesus’ life. What does that strange term, “further Kingdom interest” mean? Does it mean helping others to have “interest” in the Kingdom of God? Or, does it mean assisting men who have an obsessive interest in building their own “kingdom” in Satan’s world? Luke 4:5-7

This requires putting one’s faith/treasure in men, riches, and what they can accomplish with it, and not putting faith in the power of Holy Spirit. "Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Make money-bags for yourselves that won’t grow old, an inexhaustible treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Amen” Matt 28:18-20 It doesn't take "tangible proof" to know God's will is accomplished. Isn't the Father and Jesus Christ powerful enough to make sure it's done without the use of the world's riches? Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29 The meaning of Christ's words have not changed. He spoke against materialism. Your leaders highlight materialism. Men can interpret Jesus' words, who have no Holy Spirit within their heart, to be influential in deceiving others that they are following God's way. I remember when becoming a JW, that Catholics were slammed for their churches and great accomplishments in building feats throughout the world. I tried hard to convince others that the WT was God's organization, and not part of the world. I desired to believe it was somehow "different". As is more evident, all the WT strives to do, is appear to be a rival in the world's accomplishments, as it made note of, when revealing its plan to build a mega media center. Now, there are two planned, which only will lead to more. It is no different than the Catholic Church.

What if a virus kills hundreds of JWs, even thousands? What if famine wipes out a thousand JWs in Africa? There is a huge swarm of locusts occurring in eastern Africa, “the worst in decades”. Are JWs affected by it? Yes, if they grow crops, which most who are the preyed-upon poor do, in places like Kenya. If you are not protected from prison sentences, why would you be protected from a virus or starvation? So then, are JWs included in “a fourth of the earth” that will be killed by literal sword, famine, pestilence and wild beasts? The organization has proven that it cannot protect one soul, one victim of abuse, at the hands of its ministers. The “four horsemen” depict a spiritual event, described by a symbolic book, to come against God's spiritual “Israel” today. JWs have put their trust in an idol, “Jehovah’s organization”. A counterfeit priesthood “treads”/”tramples” God’s anointed priesthood, by “setting itself up” as fake priests, in the Temple of God. In this role, the elder body is “standing where it does not belong”. (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Mark 13:14; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2) “Israel” allows it, causing separation from their Head, Jesus Christ, from following the wishes of false “christs” and their false priesthood. (Matt 24:24; Rev 9:1-4; 8:10,11) A fleshly nation called Israel of Jersualem, suffered the literal effects of God’s judgments. (1 John 2:27) False christs sanction elders to spiritually judge God’s priesthood and all, as either sinless, or full of sin warranting a spiritual “death”. Rev 13:15 (see John 20:22-23) Isa 1:12 – “When you come to appear before me, who asked this from you, this trampling of My temple’s courts? 17 “Or if I bring a sword on that land, and say, ‘Sword, go through the land,’ and I cut off man and beast from it, 18 even though these three men were in it, as I live,” says the Lord God, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, but only they themselves would be delivered. God’s word is living and active. It is sharper than any two-edged sword and cuts as deep as the place where soul and spirit meet, the place where joints and marrow meet. Ezekiel chapter 14 The Watchtower calls the locust/scorpions of Revelation 9, the anointed ones, plaguing mankind with WT’s message. “Pestilence” - plague - destroys. The source of destruction is in the organization, in its “man of lawlessness” elder body that “tramples” God’s Temple members who are not sealed. (Rev 7:4) To manipulate the anointed into believing they are the “plague” carrying “good news” is absolutely mind-boggling. There is no rationale whatsoever, only in the minds of those who accept it. And it was told to them that they should not damage the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, except those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. Rev 9:4 God allows this as the result of their spiritual immorality, committed in like manner of their false christs. Rev 18:4-8 “whose coming is in accordance with the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 and with every unrighteous deception against those who are perishing, in place of which they did not accept the love of the truth, so that they would be saved. 11 And because of this, God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth, but delighted in unrighteousness.” 2 Thess 2:9-12 The faithful remnant and those with them, who escape these four judgments reject the name of the organization /Beast and its “laws”, and are owned only by God and Jesus Christ. Deut 11:18,19; Rev 13:15;14:11; 19:20; 3:12 THERE IS NO ANTITYPICAL JERUSALEM FOUND IN CHRISTENDOM…just as WT’s leader admit. But they teach it anyway, keeping JWs focused on the facade played out in Satan's world, and not the reality of the danger they reside in.

I often think of how the WT uses Prov 4:18 to validate their “new light” policies. “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.” No one can boast of understanding this “light” if it doesn’t take root in one’s heart and thrive. As I look back at the organization, there are undoubtedly numerous discarded shards of what was taught as “light”, but time proved it to be full-on blackness. “But if anyone walks during the night, he does stumble, because the light is not in him." John 11:10 “Yes, the light of the wicked is extinguished; the flame of his fire does not glow. The light in his tent grows dark, and the lamp beside him is put out.” Job 18:5,6 I’ve learned that our spiritual development begins with turning to the source of light, where it is never to be mingled with a dark, false teaching that needs replacing. “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” 2 Cor 6:14 Jesus is compared to the sun. (Mal 4:2; Matt 17:2) He is that light that the GB cannot perceive, since they rely on their own wisdom. (Prov 3:7; Ezek 13:9) They are "false christs", shining their own false light. (Matt 24:24; 2 Cor 11:13-15; Rev 8:10,11) David Splane and his “generation” chart comes to mind when reading the next verse in Prov 4. Prov 4:19 – “But the way of the wicked is like the darkest gloom; they don't know what makes them stumble.” That is a verse that seems to be ignored! Jesus said, “Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the doorwill be opened to you.” Matt 7:7 “Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast by turning.” James 1:17 We come out of the WT spiritually starved for the light of Christ, maybe not even realizing it. (Amos 5:20) He is right there to provide the light of understanding that is unfolding in these last days. (Isa 9:2; Matt 13:43) There has been no other time in my life where the practice of seeking “hidden treasure” was so profound, so difficult, yet eventually brought peace of mind knowing I had begun walking on the right road leading to understanding. Isa 30:21 “My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, 2 turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding— 3 indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, 4 and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, 5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.” Prov 2:1-5 Jesus Christ is ready to help us gain his light of understanding, that never will be snuffed out. It only gets brighter until the "day" the Kingdom of God arrives. “We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.” 2 Pet 1:19

Using their reasoning, it makes you wonder who really were/are, the authentic "Jehovah's Witnesses" of the WT. During the next meeting, all eight million will be assured they are the authentic ones, "Jehovah's chosen people." To add to their twisted ideas, they do believe this is the time of Harvest - the separating of the sheep and the goats. This must also mean the separating of the "professed" JWs from the authentic JWs. The "thousand year" reign of Christ is said to begin after the harvest period is finished; once Armageddon, "The Great Day of God the Almighty, is done. Rev 16:14 However, that time period of a literal thousand years to follow, is called a "judgment day", albeit a pleasant one, by the WT. Once this time period ends, there will be a second phase of weeding out the "professed" JWs, leaving only authentic JWs one more time, to enjoy eternal life. It is another "Great Day of God the Almighty". We also know that Judgment Day will be a thousand years long and is fast approaching. (Rev. 20:4, 6) We do not fear Judgment Day, for we understand that it will bring untold blessings to those judged faithful. The fulfillment of our hope for a glorious future is guaranteed by the greatest of miracles—the resurrection of Jesus Christ! w12 9/1 p. 17 Their teachings are an unending circle of confusion. Redemption is now for eternity, if we choose it. For he says: At an acceptable time I listened to you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. I like this man's opinion: YHWH... The "Name" of the Father in heaven. Most Hebrew "Names" had meanings. Names of people today in general are often less like that. They are given based on what the parents prefer to call their children. Sometimes the name may simply be one that the parent likes, or it may be the name of a relative. This is even sometimes the case in ancient Israel during Jesus time, where many people expected the parents to name their child after a relative. (Luke 1:61) (Luke1:59,60,61,62,63,64) But notice this; the angel of the Lord told Zechariah, that he should name his son John, (Luke 1:13) , and that is what both he and his wife did. Mary the mother of Jesus was also told what name to give her son by an angel. (Luke 1:31) The names in the bible, are unlike the names parents give their children today. Most bible names have meanings that encompass so much more. God brought the animals to Adam to see what Adam would call each of them. (Gen 2:19) Although the bible fails to say this, it is unlikely that Adam simply picked a nice sounding name. I think Adam was very careful about this assignment... Adam probably studied the animal and thoughtfully decided on a name that fit the animal. God even changed the names of some persons to describe the individual more accurately. For example at age 99 God changed Abraham's name from Abram to Abraham, and his wife's name from Sarai to Sarah.(Gen 17:1-5; Gen 17:15) These names defined some of the attributes of an individual. In this sense the Father's "name" is less likely just a "proper name" as we understand names today. It is probable that no human could comprehend it's full meaning. (Compare Rev 19:12; Rev 2:17) These two scriptures alone show us that a "name" is more than simply a person's "name" as we understand it today. There is so much more meaning that we can fail to discern. The white pebble (or stone) that is given to the faithful who conquer, is known only to the one who receives it. (Rev 2:17) When Jesus said "I have made your name "known"...it meant something other than making the spelling or sound of the "name" of God known. (Most of the Jews of his day already had a better handle on the Hebrew language than we do). Even Pharoah of Egypt "knew" that part of it...But did he really "know" God ? . (Exodus 5:2) Holman Christian Standard Bible But Pharaoh responded, "Who is Yahweh that I should obey Him by letting Israel go? I do not know anything about Yahweh, and besides, I will not let Israel go." YHWH: The descriptive "name" of God. For us to routinely use that descriptive name, as if it were a proper name, may be the wrong thing to do. Here is an interesting thought: How would you address your earthly father? You could call him "Father" or possibly "Dad". Out of respect for your father, would you call him by his first name? Would you introduce him to your friends using his first name? Would you introduce your earthly father by his descriptive name... as..."He who caused my birth"? Would you introduce your earthly mother as "She that gave birth to me"? (I think most people would consider that disrespectful.) Jesus is going to hand everything back over to his "Father". (1 Cor 15:24, 28) When he does, God will become all things to everyone. If Jesus calls his Father..."Father", then what will we call him when we become God's earthly children? Jesus told the Samaritan Woman at the well, that "True Worshipers" would worship the "Father" with spirit and truth, for indeed, the "Father" is looking for suchlike ones to worship him. (John 4:21, 23, 24) It makes me wonder...since Jesus had many opportunities to verbally make the spelling and sound of God's descriptive "Name" known, then why didn't he? Instead he simply and respectfully called God..."Father", as did the Apostles and disciples. They all had ample opportunity to use the "Name", but if you search the scriptures, it would be a difficult task without their original writings, to conclusively challenge the fact that this is absent. The True God's name, a verb form of Hebrew, means "To be"..."He causes to become"...so he can be whatever he has to be to accomplish his purpose. He can cause to be whatever he will, to accomplish his purposes. {Hebrew verb...hawah..."to be"}. Knowing God's "name" means understanding him as fully as we humans can. It means having faith in the meaning of his name, that he will live up to his "Name"...specifically, the description of what his name means. Jesus would never have followed any man-made traditions. Nor today, would he use any "man-made" names for God, as Bible translators do today, simply because that name was in use for a couple of centuries. ( The J is absent in Hebrew. The J that Bible translators use, comes from the Germanic language in much later centuries. Those translators also decided to place vowels from the Hebrew word Adonai as well. In the Hebrew language ... the word "hovah" essentially means; to destroy, ruin, disaster, to make mischief, according to some. This descriptive "name" more of a description of Satan, than it is of Almighty God...the one who creates and gives life). (Genesis 1:31) The name "Hovah" fails to convey a creator of life and good. If we had the original manuscripts of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John from the First Century, as well as all the original letters that Luke, Paul, Peter, James and John wrote, there would be little controversy as to whether Jesus used God's descriptive name as has been said by the Watchtower organization. We fail to have the original First Century manuscripts. We only have parts from the second and third century at the earliest. Those could have been corrupted by the then already existing men of lawlessness. We are unable go back in time to the first century to hear whether they used the divine name. Were we there to listen to Jesus or his Apostles speak, we would be able to know, however, without this possibility to go back in time, to know how to "pronounce" the divine "name" would be even more difficult. God has promised that the understanding of the "scrolls" (bible) would be opened up to us in the time of the end. If Jesus called God "Father", then why not imitate him? You can imitate Jesus. I have never read Dawkin's books. I read the Bible. If it is a "compulsive" behavior to read God's Word, I consider it a blessing from God. It is your choice to shun your brother, by following the dictates of men who have a fine reputation of leading people away from the true God and Jesus Christ, through the promotion of false teachings. People leave for selfish reasons, others leave wanting to search out authentic truth. The organization is not God. No organization can claim to possess God, yet the WT certainly does, a "treacherous" act of bold assumption. That thought originates from a depraved mind. But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. False prophets, false "christs" are excellent at this, those who deceive the "elect". Matt 24:24 To believe that our battle against Satan is fought on the physical battle ground, contradicts all that scriptures tells about the last days. Eph 6:11-17 Satan makes the display of war right before our eyes. It isn’t hard to pick out a city on the earth and call it a “great city”. It isn’t hard to imagine political entities merging with spiritual entities when the news gives it to us, in full detail. This is living “according to the flesh”, according to the activities in Satan’s world. It is foolish entertainment. Those who put their hopes in an earthly, “fleshly” organization that utilizes all the same tools of the nations, are easy to be deceived of the true battle at hand. They willingly put their trust in men who change doctrine consistently, calling each new change, “truth”. This isn’t living a spiritual life, but a fleshly life. It is based on faith in what one can literally see and touch. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. Rom 8:5 We a have a choice between two spiritual Fathers - God, who is truth and who’s ways are perfect. Deut 32:4; Num 23:19 God, who does not tolerate liars. Prov 12:22 Satan, the father of the lie, who wins people over by deception and fleshly desires. John 8:44; Luke 4:5-8 If we say that God is our Father, that we are His progeny, why would we entertain proven liars who live “according to the flesh”? John 4:24 We would be deceiving ourselves by thinking God overlooks our choice. We are each responsible for what we choose to put in our heart; seeds of truth, or seeds of lies. Matt 7:15-20 If we believe a liar and claim that the liar represents God’s Son, we are in no better shape than the liar is , when standing before Christ. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Gal 6:7,8 “Israel” has already been surrounded and trampled down by a “Gentile” body of elders in alliance with “Israel’s” Harlots. It is the “disgusting thing standing in the holy place” of Matt 24:15 They are the two Beasts of Revelation who make spiritual “war” through lies, against the saints and those with them. There are 66 books in the Bible. 65 of them speak of those in relationship with God – those in covenant with him. If nations were involved, they were nations that affected God’s people directly. From Adam, to Abraham…Moses, the nation of Israel, Jews, Jesus, to spiritual “Israel” - all pages of the Bible are directed towards God’s people in covenant. Why would the last book that speaks of the most difficult era before death is destroyed, (1 Cor 15:26) have anything to do with nations not under covenant with God, and are not cognizant of who “Israel” is? One book, out of 66. Your Armageddon teachings say that all nations will be destroyed because of their sins, and the organization of 8 million people will be left to enter into “paradise”. Your teachings project that God will protect you, despite of all of the WATCHTOWER’S sins; sins that are no different than those being committed by all other organization. The magazine’s illustrations depict JWs coming under attack and Christ stepping in with his angels to physically kill armies of the nations, who are apparently coming against YOU, an “innocent” people. Lo and behold, all are saved at the last moment. When I speak of the sins of the WT, I hear a complaining spirit saying, “where is God’s mercy?” I ask, where is the understanding of God’s justice in the mind of a JW? It is totally apparent that the organization as a whole, has no sense of it, or the gravity of its own sins. God’s people under covenant are His focus – “Israel”, the anointed ones of “New Jerusalem” (Gal 4:26) Yes, Satan will cause horrendous destruction, but Revelation is about the “great city” that has always been the topic of the Bible. It doesn’t change with the 66th book; what changes is the spiritual perspective. Matt 5:35 - or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. Beautiful in its loftiness, the joy of the whole earth, like the heights of Zaphonis Mount Zion, the city of the Great King. Ps 48:2 “How the faithful city has become a harlot, She who was full of justice! Righteousness once lodged in her, But now murderers.” Isa 1:21 The WT has given JWs a hint of who the Harlot and “great city” of Revelation is, but it remains unseen. As even your leaders admit, Jerusalem is Jerusalem, and it doesn’t apply to Christendom. They have erased the teaching of an “anti-typical” Jerusalem. The “great city” spoken of in Revelation is that city which bears God’s name. “See, I am beginning to bring disaster on the city that bears my Name, and will you indeed go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, for I am calling down a sword on all who live on the earth, declares the Lord Almighty.’ Jer 25:29 What city is greater than Zion, than Jerusalem? Do JWS really believe that all in the WT who “share” in the Harlot’s (GB) sins will go unpunished? Rev 18:4-8 Is the organization somehow impervious to destruction no matter what they do or by who, in Satan’s world? That would be an awesome idol of great power that dares to stand against God’s judgments. People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?” Rev 13:4 “When you cry out for help, let your collection of idols save you! The wind will carry all of them off, a mere breath will blow them away. But whoever takes refuge in Me will inherit the land and possess my holy mountain” Isa 57:13 “Then I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the witnesses to Jesus. Everyone has a right to use their mind. God expects us to. But the elders/servants made sure no one could. And they made sure they didn't use their own mind as well. This is a side point, but one event can coincide with another. The act of disfellowshipping has experienced a total turnaround in the organization. In 1947, excommunication was taught as having no sound scriptural basis. As time went on, it was adopted as necessary, according to scripture; and gained momentum in its severity as the years passed. Today, it is a hard-core teaching, with hard-core results. How often are individuals reminded not to have any contact with disfellowshipped ones, and now to shun those who are inactive? @Kosonen's remark brought this to mind when he said, It really looks like the WT organization by force tried to fit prophecies to events and dates too early before their right time When asked if I accepted the doctrine of 1914, my answer of “no” immediately brought the judgment that I would be announced as disfellowshipped at the next meeting. This happens on a consistent basis, and to many anointed ones - probably to all of them leaving the organization. There is no sin involved, there is no need to repent before God, but before men holding on to their doctrine. One is considered “apostate” against doctrines not having a sound basis in scripture. Anyone disfellowshipped knows that to JWs, they are viewed as unworthy in God’s sight, having lost the promise of eternal life. This is a “beating down” of the person, and their right to think independently, as the Bereans practiced in Paul’s day. “Now these were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica. They accepted the message with all eagerness, examining the scriptures every day to see if these things were so.” Acts 17:11 It is a typical hypocritical response by the organization’s leadership, who use this scripture to bring individuals from other religions into the organization. When reading Kosnen’s comment, Matt 24:48-51 came to mind. “Who then is the faithful and wise slave whom the master has put in charge of his household slaves to give them their food at the right time? 46 Blessed is that slave whom his master will find so doing when he comes back. 47 Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48 But if that evil slave should say to himself, ‘My master is staying away for a long time,’ 49 and he begins to beat his fellow slaves and eats and drinks with drunkards, 50 the master of that slave will come on a day that he does not expect and at an hour that he does not know, 51 and will cut him in two and assign his place with the hypocrites.
