Look after aged parents

I would guess there was a magazine topic about this already before but I have some side questions.

Given a scenario that an aged parent "demands" a certain form of care, like having their own unit to stay and a certain amount of money that their child having its own family already and dependents is about to drive them to bankruptcy as a result in the near future.  I read from the magazine before, that it should be within the means of the child.

should the elders, provide a privileges to the aged parents like Pioneering?

should the elders simply listen to the parents even if they possibly lied?  - since the "shepherd the flock" advised not to be involved in family matters, should the child or aged parent view the privileges as Jehovah's approval?

Love covers all - does this mean that the child will just keep on putting up with their problem and simply wait for the new system even if it will mean their own family goes under?

somewhat - (Matthew 24:12) "the increasing of lawlessness, the love of the greater number will grow cold." applies also internally in the organization?
