On Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, Gladys K. Nelson's breath of life peacefully returned to her God, Jehovah (Ecc. 12:7).

She was born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, on March 8, 1920, making her 97 years old.

Preceding her in death, her husband, David A. Nelson, moved the family to El Paso, Texas, for three years where he was stationed at Fort Bliss Army Base. After retiring, the family moved to Gulf Breeze in Florida.

Preceded also in death by her brother, Wayne Kling of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her sister, Dolores Culbertson of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania; her five children, Terry Reed (Yvonne) of Madison, Wisconsin, and Kay Flowers, Joan Flowers (Esley), David Nelson (Vicky), and Dolores Barnett (Herb), all of Florida; her six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews in both Pennsylvania and Florida.

A Memorial Service will be given by Bill Bohatka, Elder of Jehovah's Witnesses, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6100 Lanier Drive, Pensacola, Florida 32504.
