If the Anointed Ones Were to Wake Up

I am sure that if they awoke to just who they are, the rest of the anointed ones in the organization -  may agree with Paul:

"Now, brothers and sisters, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying: Nothing beyond what is written. The purpose is that none of you will be arrogant, favoring one person over another.

For I think God has displayed us, the apostles, in last place, like men condemned to die: We have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to people.  We are fools for Christ, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored!  Up to the present hour we are both hungry and thirsty; we are poorly clothed, roughly treated, homeless;  we labor, working with our own hands. When we are reviled, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it;  when we are slandered, we respond graciously.

Even now, we are like the scum of the earth, like everyone’s garbage." 1 Cor 4:6-13

I was wondering where this post went.  The connection is the announcement about the new GB member.  It seemed necessary that two large pictures of him needed to be posted under that particular thread.

Your comment was referencing an entire group of Anointed ones and not just Kenneth Cook so I felt it should go on it's own thread. Thank @admin .... not me. ;-)

I was wondering where this post went.  The connection is the announcement about the new GB member.  It seemed necessary that two large pictures of him needed to be posted under that particular thread.  I felt it necessary to remind JWs that there are many potential "faithful and discreet slaves", if only they would wake up and consider Paul's words, and I'll include Matt 25:19-30 also.

It is interesting that a scripture landed in "controversy".

I know you've got a big job, Librarian.  And I know I don't make it any easier.  Thank you for letting me continue here.

John4:21

"Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Heb.10:14

"For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. 15 But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before, 16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them," 17 then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

John2:18

"So the Jews answered and said to Him, “What sign do You show to us, since You do these things?” 19 Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” 20 Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?” 21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body. 22 Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.”

Jesus was not speaking here of his body of flesh. He said “in three days, *I* will raise it up”. Jesus did not raise up his own body of flesh. (see Rom.10:7,9Acts 2:32).

Clearly, it was God who raised Christ from the dead. What “body” and “temple” then, did Jesus himself raise by his death and resurrection?

The scriptures are clear, that by Jesus’ ransom (Rev.5:9,10), he raised up the anointed (messianic/chosen ones) temple (Eph.2:6;1Cor.3:161Pet.2:5,9Eph.2:22,21,20Ps.118:22John2:19,211Cor.12:27) of his body of 144000 (2Cor.1:21,22Rev.7:4,3;14:1), the united body of which, each Chosen one, is a member (1Cor.12:12,13,14,20,27).

This is the very same temple, where the Father is worshiped in “Spirit and Truth” (1Tim.3:151Pet.2:51Cor.3:162Cor.6:16;1Cor.6:19); those of the New Covenant who have God’s laws written on their hearts (Heb.10:16Deut.6:6,8Rev.14:1). This is the new place of worship, since the death of Christ. With his blood, he bought these chosen ones for God, to be God's priests (Rev.5:9,10), and to be Christ's "bride" (Eph.5:25Rev.21:9,10).
These are the representatives of the “True Religion” here on earth (2Cor.5:201Cor.4:1Mal.2:7John7:18,38Rev.21:622:17;14:3,5).

Jesus did not describe this arrangement of worship as being organized by men into a "religious" organization or corporation (Acts 17:24Heb.9:11Eph.2:10),
but rather, described it as guided by Holy Spirit and Truth (John4:243:816:13,14) under Christ as Head (Eph.5:23). The anointed did not consult and obey, nor were they under the direction of, a "governing body" in Jerusalem (Gal.1:11,12,17,15,16,105:12:4Rom.6:161Cor.7:232Cor.11:20Rev.2:20Col.3:24) or some other man-made hierarchy. They were and are, taught collectively by Holy Spirit (1John2:20,27John7:38,3917:26Luke 12:1221:14,15Rev.11:5,3,4;Matt.10:27,20John16:13,14,156:45), through the arrangement of Christ's "body"/"temple" (John15:4,5Eph.2:20,21,22;1Pet.2:5,9Mal.2:7), according to the various assignments of it's "parts" (Eph.4:11,12,132:20,211Cor.12:18,28,29,27;Eph.4:11,12).
As a collective "body" under Christ as Head; it is anointed with spirit, and is thereby sustained by the working of spirit, within it (1John2:20,27Eph.4:11,12Rom.12:5John13:14) (John15:4,5Rom.11:171Cor.12:6,7).

Paul confirms that he himself was lead directly by Holy Spirit, and not by an arrangement erected by men, atGal.1:10,11,12,15,16,17,18,19,20Acts 15:8,9,10,36,41Acts 16:6,7John16:1314:17,26.
For the "body of Christ", Jesus himself is the Head. As his "bride", all the members of his body submit to the arrangement of the parts, according to their order as arranged by Christ and God (Eph.4:11,121Cor.12:28Eph.4:14,15,16).
In this way, order and peace are established within Christ's "body" of chosen ones (1Cor.14:12,22,26,29,32,33,37,38,4012:18,28;Rom.12:6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13).
The anointed priests are like branches attached to a vine / rootstock (John15:4,5Rev.22:16Rom.11:16). What they receive is sourced in Christ, not from men (John15:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,15,16Eph.5:29Rom.11:17,18,22Col.2:2).

Jesus once described the individual members of his body, as "trees". This illustration applies well, because just as a grapevine and its branches produce fruit (John15:5,8); these trees” also provide “fruit” as spiritual food [Matt.12:33,35Luke 6:45; <(Heb.13:15Hosea14:2); Matt.7:17,20Jer.17:7,8Ps.1:2,3Rev.22:1,2John7:38Prov.4:23].
All the faithful fruitful ones, are dependent upon the sap/holy spirit/living water, coming from the throne/true vine/olive root (Col.2:7Rom.11:17John15:4,51Cor.12:13John 6:63Luke 8:18).
If Christ removes holy spirit from an erring chosen one, that tree dries up (Mark 11:14,20,21Joel 1:12Mark 4:25John 15:2,6;Col.2:19Eph.4:16,11,12).

Jesus described the fruit/teachings of the fine, true prophets, as being: SOURCED IN GOD’S WORD (John7:16,17,188:47 a;John17:17Matt.5:14Ps.36:91John1:5Luke 11:35,36John8:121:4,5,14) and as PROMOTING THE GLORY/Righteousness OF GOD, not self-glory (Matt.6:33). This they could do, due to having God’s Laws written on their hearts, combined with the blessings of insight which Holy Spirit would grant them (1John2:20,271Pet.2:9Matt.13:111Cor.2:12-14). They receive that spirit through their union with the Head (1Cor.6:172:14Eph.2:18John17:2314:20) and the harmony with the whole "body" that would result.

This Chosen Priesthood, serve within God’s spiritual Temple, the "body" of Christ (Rev.3:11,125:107:1522:3,4Mal.2:7;1Pet.2:5,9,10).

In more modern times, many of these anointed priests congregated together. They became organized. Of course, Satan was not going to leave their activities undisturbed (Matt.13:24,25,26,27,28Isa.63:18Rev.11:2Luke 22:31). The faithful work of doing God’s will, would always be resisted and opposed; right within the midst of these priests (Acts 20:29,301Tim.4:1;Matt.24:4,5,24,257:15Rev.13:112Thess.2:4,92Cor.11:12,13Matt.13:30). Those who form an organized hierarchy outside the body of Christ, help Satan to resist, defy, and malign God's arrangement (Isa.1:211Cor.6:15 B; Rev.17:2,12:20Rev.18:4;2Cor.6:17)
("Who are the Kings of the Earth?").

Not all anointed will prove faithful (Matt.25:1,222:14).

Those who prove unfaithful, exchange love for their brothers and for truth, for worldly power and self-serving doctrines of men (John5:441John3:10,11,13,14,15Rev.17:61John2:15Rev.2:42Thess.2:10,121Cor.4:8John7:16,18Mark7:7Rom.1:25). Those proving unfaithful, are the very ones who become proud, prominent, powerful, tyrannical, and abusive (Luke 16:8;22:24,25,26,271John4:202:9,113:10,15), and dominate their brothers to their injury (Ec.8:9).
Where would anointed ones get such power? (Matt.4:8-10Rev.9:1,3,713:4,11,15)
These unfaithful leave their subjection to Christ, leave unity with the body of Christ as arranged by God, and ally themselves with the power of Gentiles (not anointed), instead (Jer.17:5Dan.11:31).
They betray their covenant with God [to have His laws on their heart -Jer.31:33; (*Deut.6:6,811:18)],
to enter a covenant with Satan
[Jer.11:9,10,11Rev.9:1,1113:1,4,11,12,15 (*Rev.13:16,17); Rev.17:1,3,5Isa.28:15] (http://pearl-666.blogspot.com/).
They leave their confidence in the strength of God (Phil.4:13Ps.18:2,3), for the worldly advantage and power that come from forming an alliance with those not anointed, and with them, create an Organization.

This structural arrangement, (of unfaithful anointed heading up a non-anointed counterfeit priesthood), is a fabrication that stands in defiance of the authentic body/temple/priesthood of God, within which His spirit operates and dwells. It is a "disgusting thing" standing in a holy place...a "man of lawlessness" dominating the body of Christ, usurping Christ's headship over his Bride members.
(Not anointed--spiritual Gentiles --Rom.2:28,29
(Jer.17:5,7,1311:3,10,11,12Rev.6:162Chron.32:8Ps.118:8Isa.2:2230:1Rev.17:3,7).
This decision to dominate their brothers in Christ by means of the "muscle" of Gentiles, changes their designation from a chaste virgin of Christ
(2Cor.11:2Rev.14:4,5Eph.5:25,26,27James 1:271John2:15),

to that of a harlot
(Hosea 9:1Jer.5:52:20,19,213:1,2Isa.1:21Eze.16:15)....

....from a vessel of truth and life
(John7:38,391Tim.4:162Cor.4:6,7Rev.22:17

to a vessel of deception and death
(Jer.2:21Isa.5:2,4Deut.32:32,33,15,18,6,16Rev.13:15,8Jer.11:17Rev.14:9,10,18,198:10,11).

Faithful anointed, are to have nothing to do with these unfaithful leaders (Ps.26:4Isa.1:211Cor.6:1510:21,222Cor.6:16,17,18;Rev.18:42Tim.3:5Eph.5:112Thess.3:6Rom.16:17Mark 13:14).
But not all anointed stay clear of these unfaithful leading harlots (Rev.17:1,2,18,13)

These too desire the stature which only inclusion within a worldly Gentile Organization can offer (Rev.17:2,12,13,17,18,16;1John2:15John17:168:13,23,37,40,59,4215:18Isa.66:5John16:2Matt.24:9,10,1110:22).
The "world" into which Jesus came, was the unfaithful religious system of those in covenant with God. (Matt.15:24Rom.1:16;Acts3:26) (John1:113:197:78:44Matt.23:33).

Just as that part of Satan's "world" (which hated Jesus -John15:18,25), were those unfaithful among God's people...
So too, the unfaithful of God's people todayare also the "world" which hates the faithful
(John15:1816:2Acts 5:33Luke 12:451John4:203:12John7:7Rev.11:7,10).

To be a genuine faithful ambassador of Christ, means to be rejected, despised and abandoned by that religious part of Satan's "world"...those who have rebelled against their covenant with God, which exact type of hatred and persecution, imitates the path of our Master, Christ (Rev.11:8John15:18,20Matt.10:24,2512:24John16:2017:14Matt.23:341Cor.4:1,2,3,9,10,11,12,13;Heb.13:13Matt.5:10,11,121Pet.2:19,20,21,22,23).
The secular world did not hate Jesus (Luke23:4,14,15Matt.27:23John18:3619:4,6).
It is those whom the truth condemns, that hate the faithful (Mark 11:18John7:18:37,4011:531John3:12Jude 1:11;Rev.2:14,162Thess.2:8,4John3:20Matt.24:923:27,28,34,35Rev.18:2417:6Jer.51:49).
The knowledge of who it is that persecutes and "kills" Christ's faithful end-time slaves, must be used to guide our interpretation of Revelation's warring identities, if we hope to understand it accurately.

The “lawlessness” or, lack of Christ’s “law” of love displayed among the unfaithful anointed (John13:34James 2:8Matt.7:22,23;24:1225:42,43,44,45,41), has manifested itself in the midst of the faithful chosen, right from the start (2Thess.2:71Cor.4:8). It was prophesied to intensify in the last days (Matt.24:127:232Tim.3:1,5,7,132Thess.2:8).

Yhwh aptly conveyed, that at the time of the end, when all would face judgment before God’s Throne (Rom.14:122Cor.5:10;Matt.12:36), that there would be a people who would call themselves by His name (Jer.25:29,30Rev.14:18,19).

There are many detailed prophecies how this people would fare during God’s inspection and judgment.
All those prophetic details are becoming clearly manifest in association within the unfolding events of the Organization known as "Jehovah’s Witnesses". Those details include the faithful anointed alongside the unfaithful…the constant scenario and climate which has always existed for the Chosen (Matt.13:30Gen.3:15). The details of Revelation's symbolic scenarios and symbolic identities are also being fulfilled in association with that religious mountain (Rev.8:8Zech.4:7).

Because the parasitic anointed seek to garnish the blessing being received by the faithful, by exploiting, condemning, and yet capitalizing on their spiritual success and insight (Matt.25:8Luke16:313:24John6:27Matt.25:26); the “True Religion” will always be adulterated by those who cause divisions in the anointed body of Christ, and shame Jude 1:12,13,16,17,18,19

Yet part of proving faithful, eventually requires that the faithful divorce themselves from the unclean...those who have been spotted by the world (1Cor.6:15,16,17Isa.63:18,19Matt.24:15,162Cor.6:17). But not before they give a warning.

They will then be cast out, for this simple adherence to truth and subjection to Christ (Matt.10:1623:34John16:2Rev.11:2,3,7;13:1517:66:9,10,1112:10,11Matt.10:16,17,18,19,20,21,22,32,33Mark 8:35).

At the arrival of the Kingdom, those who exalt themselves will be humbled; and those who have humbled themselves and have continued to provide spiritual blessing in the midst of this persecution, will then be exalted (1Pet.5:6,10James 4:10Matt.23:12;2Thess.2:4,8).

The challenge for all those seeking the “True Religion” is to identify the Chosen which are proving faithful. Jesus provided ample direction and instruction to empower us to do so.
According to prophecy, we must expect that the faithful, will be associated for a time with a powerful organization (of spiritual Gentiles) under the direction of the unfaithful (2Thess.2:4Dan.7:258:11,12,24,10Rev.12:4,1711:213:7). This is why Jesus illustration of his wicked Steward, points to anointed who are over other anointed (Matt.24:45,48,49,50,51Hosea 6:5).

None should oppress, but rather, Jesus appoints such a one, to serve (1Pet.5:1,2,3,4John13:14,15,16,17).
Jesus well knew ahead of time, that those proving unfaithful, would be those dominating their brothers without mercy and love (Matt.24:49,127:23), and supporting that position based upon a lie of premature stature of divine approval (Matt.24:48Matt.25:52Thess.2:1,2,32Cor.11:132Tim.3:13) and the power of organized Gentiles (Wild Beast from the "sea"/"abyss"), who would seem directed by God's spirit/breath, due to the lies of a false prophet (Rev.13:15,14,711:2).
But these unfaithful leaders would not have enough Holy Spirit to provide the “proper food at the proper time” (Matt.24:4525:8;John15:4Col.2:18-19), but would substitute the truth with their own doctrines (John7:18,178:47), which would empower the Beast/Organization that enforces their own authority (Rev.13:12,149:1,2,3).

Yet the faithful would continue to provide good fruit as fine trees….for the sustenance of any who “received” them (Matt.10:40,41,42John13:2012:4815:8) and their sayings/teachings/fruit (Matt.7:20).
By accepting living water by means of the faithful vessels, (John4:10,147:38Isa.12:31Tim.4:162Cor.4:7Matt.5:14,15,16;Rev.22:17), these accepting sheep can exercise faith in Christ according to Truth, and receive that living water's benefits (John17:33:164:14Matt.10:40,41,42).

    • An interesting concept, bible discipline. I am struck by the prevalence of ignorance about spiritual discipline on "Reddit." While physical and mental disciplines receive attention, the profound impact of spiritual discipline on a person's physical and mental well-being is often overlooked. Is it possible to argue against the words of the Apostle Paul? When he penned those words in Hebrews 12, he was recognizing that there are moments when an individual must be "rebuked" in order to be corrected. Even Jesus himself established a precedent when he rebuked Peter and referred to him as Satan for failing to comprehend what Jesus had already revealed to the apostles. Did that imply that Jesus had an evil heart? Not at all, it was quite the opposite; Jesus had a loving heart. His need to correct Peter actually showcased his genuine love for him. If he hadn't cared, he would have let Peter persist in his mistaken ways, leading to a fate similar to Judas'. There is a clear emphasis on avoiding the apostate translation and its meaning, yet many seem to overlook the biblical foundation for the reasons NOT to follow the path of the fallen brethren or those with an apostate mentality. Those individuals have embraced the path of darkness, where the illuminating power of light cannot penetrate, to avoid receiving the righteous discipline based on God's Bible teachings. They are undoubtedly aware that this undeniable truth of life must be disregarded in order to uphold their baseless justifications for the unjust act of shunning. Can anyone truly "force" someone or stop them from rejecting a friend or family member? Such a notion would be absurd, considering the fact that we all have the power of free will. If a Witness decides to distance themselves from a family member or friend simply because they have come out as gay, who is anyone within the organization to question or challenge that personal sentiment? It is unfortunate that there are individuals, both within and outside the organization, who not only lack a proper understanding of the Bible but also dare to suggest that God's discipline is barbaric. We must remember that personal choices should be respected, and it is not for others to judge or condemn someone based on their sexual orientation but should be avoided under biblical grounds. No one should have the power to compel an individual to change their sexual orientation, nor should anyone be forced to accept someone for who they are. When it comes to a family's desire to shield their children from external influences, who has the right to challenge the parents' decision? And if a family's rejection of others is based on cultural factors rather than religious beliefs, who can impose religious judgment on them? Who should true followers of Christ follow? The words of God or those who believe they can change God's laws to fit their lives? How can we apply the inspired words of Paul from God to embrace the reality of God's discipline? On the contrary, how can nonconformists expect to persuade those with a "worldview" that their religious beliefs are unacceptable by ostracizing individuals, when God condemns homosexuality? This is precisely why the arguments put forth by ex-witnesses are lacking in their pursuit of justice. When they employ misguided tactics, justice remains elusive as their arguments are either weak or inconsistent with biblical standards. Therefore, it is crucial to also comprehend Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 9:27. The use of the word "shun" is being exaggerated and excessively condemned by those who reject biblical shunning as a form of punishment. Eph 5:3-14 NIV 3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person — such a man is an idolater — has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.  6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them.  8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible. The impact of the message becomes significantly stronger when we emphasize the importance of avoiding any association with unrighteousness and those who remain unrepentant. In fact, it becomes even more compelling when we witness how some individuals, who dismiss biblical shunning as a method of discipline, excessively criticize and condemn the use of the word "shun". Therefore, Jehovah's Witnesses do not shun people; instead, they choose to focus on the negative actions being committed, which is in accordance with biblical teachings. This should be construed as ex-Witness rhetoric. Now, let's consider why ex-Witnesses specifically target one particular religion. What justifications do they provide when other Christian denominations also adhere to the same principle grounded in the Bible? Chapter 1 - Preface Both must therefore test themselves: the one, if he is qualified to speak and leave behind him written records; the other, if he is in a right state to hear and read: as also some in the dispensation of the Eucharist, according to  custom enjoin that each one of the people individually should take his part. One's own conscience is best for choosing accurately or shunning. And its firm foundation is a right life, with suitable instruction. But the imitation of those who have already been proved, and who have led correct lives, is most excellent for the understanding and practice of the commandments. "So that whosoever shall eat the bread and drink the cup of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup."  It therefore follows, that every one of those who undertake to promote the good of their neighbours, ought to consider whether he has betaken himself to teaching rashly and out of rivalry to any; if his communication of the word is out of vainglory; if the the only reward he reaps is the salvation of those who hear, and if he speaks not in order to win favour: if so, he who speaks by writings escapes the reproach of mercenary motives. "For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know," says the apostle, "nor a cloak of covetousness. God is witness. Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome as the apostles of Christ. But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children."   (from Ante-Nicene Fathers, Volume 2) Divine promises 2. The manner of shunning, in the word escaping. There is a flying away required, and that quickly, as in the plague, or from a fire which hath almost burned us, or a flood that breaketh in upon us. We cannot soon enough escape from sin (Matt 3:7; Heb 6:18). No motion but flight becomes us in this case. Doctrine: That the great end and effect of the promises of the gospel is to make us partakers of the Divine nature. (from The Biblical Illustrator)
    • Clearly, they are already demanding your exile. Yes! It's unfortunate that Pudgy spoiled a great discussion about science. I hope the discussion can continue without any more nonsensical interruptions. Just a suggestion since they are on your heels. Wow! You speak! It seems you have a lot to say! Now they are going to treat like, who do you think you are, mister big stuff! Are those aliens now going to imply that anyone who speaks out against the five or six key contributors to this site will be treated as though it is George just because those in opposition speak the language they hate to hear, the TRUTH? They are seeking individuals who will embrace their nonconformist values and appreciate what they can offer in shaping public opinion contrary to the established agenda of God and Christ. Their goal is to enhance their writing abilities and avoid squandering time on frivolous pursuits, mainly arguing about the truth they don't care for. They see it all as a mere game, even when leading people astray. They believe they have every right to and will face no biblical repercussions, or so they believe. They just want to have fun just like that Cyndi Lauper song. Be prepared to be belittled and ridiculed, all the while they claim to be angels. Haha! By the way, please refrain from using the same language as George. They appear to believe that when others use the same words, it means they are the same person, and they emphasize this as if no one else is allowed to use similar grammar. It seems they think only they have the right to use the same or similar writing styles. Quite amusing, isn't it? See, what I just placed in bold, now I'm George, lol! Now, let's leave this nice science thread for people that want to know more about science. I believe George left it at "Zero Distance."
