Coral “Judy” Davis, 80, a homemaker and longtime volunteer minister with the Jehovah’s Witnesses, died March 17 at a rehabilitation center in Catonsville, Md. The cause was complications from diabetes and kidney disease, said a daughter, Elena Davis.

Mrs. Davis was born Coral Perren in Jersey City and moved to Washington in 1956. She maintained a home in the District after moving her primary residence to Columbia, Md., in 2007. She was a longtime member of the Petworth and Mount Pleasant Jehovah’s Witnesses congregations and volunteered with Bible studies, home visits and community service activities.
