Jehovah’s Witnesses to hold an International Conference in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st) – Jehovah’s Witnesses in Sri Lanka convened a media briefing on Tuesday (June 26) to create awareness on an International Conference which is to be held from the 6th to the 8th of July. The theme for the convention is “Be Courageous. ”

Spokesperson of the Jehova’s Witnesses, Nidhu David stated that for the first time they will come together, to hold their special convention in Sri Lanka. According to David, this year’s convention would be special as Sri Lanka would be playing host to 3400 delegates from 7 countries.

He added that this year Sri Lanka is one of the 6 countries chosen as an international convention venue and is also the only country in Asia chosen for this year. Nidhu David said the conference is funded by voluntary donations.
