I found interesting to present this two view about same issue, about religious truth, or to be said, what is the meaning of Bible text aka - interpretations. Both quotes are originated from persons who are deeply involved in defending religious truth and teachings. They are, i believe, bible scholars of some sort. I don't know what credentials they have. First quote is made by an individual and is very concise. We may say, clear and simple as it should be, because we will agree how truth have to be clear and simple. But, perhaps it is not always that way :)) quote 1: There is no change, there is no misinterpretation. Therefore, there is no error. Second quote is made by group of people and is massive. And stands as opposite to first one. quote 2: We have always used the Bible as the sole authority for our beliefs, so we have adjusted our beliefs as our understanding of the Scriptures has been clarified. * Such changes are in harmony with the Bible principle stated at Proverbs 4:18: “The path of the righteous is like the bright morning light that grows brighter and brighter until full daylight.” Just as the rising sun reveals details of a landscape gradually, God grants an understanding of divine truth progressively, in his due time. (1 Peter 1:10-12) As the Bible foretold, he has accelerated this process during “the time of the end.”—Daniel 12:4. These adjustments in our understanding should neither surprise nor disturb us. Ancient worshipers of God also had mistaken ideas and expectations and needed to adjust their viewpoint. I will leave further comments, if any, to the audience of this forum. :))

As @Outta Here give information, WT have various Bible versions, translations. But only last edition have to be count as "best Bible" :))) and to be use for spreading "spiritual food" aka truth that leads to eternal life. Yes, he must be right. You can read whatever Bible Translation you like, but confirmation about what is meaning of text need to be made by Watchtower study edition. ;))

When you said: "No", i would understand than how WT Society and all legal entities are not needed for JW members and people in general to be able get close to God and Jesus. That is contrary to WT publication that said how only WTJWorg with GB is able to provide "spiritual food" and how "spiritual paradise" only existing inside this organization. Obviously, your short and direct answer giving idea how WTJWorg is not necessary for "spiritual paradise", which i can agree. But than why JW's preaching how people need to Join JW as precondition to be under God's protection that is only inside "spiritual paradise" that exists only under leadership and governing of WTJWorg company?

Is this internet page approved by GB and WT? Does WT endorse JW's to go on Biblehub or to go only to official JW org sites that have best bible translation and brand new interpretations ? :))))

They will not deny Jesus 3 times ... But they will deny, renounce OWN Theology, more than 3 times for the same doctrine. And at the same time they will claim that their theology has always been the theology of Jesus ....each time, at each change. :))

Hybrids. Mixture of angels and humans. Perhaps artist want to show Unity and Uniformity. I am not sure that i understand explanation, interpretations of some Bible words about this "transformation". Also, if human are created by God to live on Earth, and WT theology said how Catholics or some other religious people not "going" to "heaven" after death because that is false teachings.....why would that be different for some JW class, "anointed"? Resurrection is good hope. But to live on Earth. Why would God be in need to have group of people, earthly women and men for living in "heaven" and rule over humankind? And be invisible to their subjects? I would drove some line with Eden and human. God was invisible to Adam and Eve, Abel, Cain .... according to Bible. But they spoke together. Human heard a Voice. This is also interesting. If you "see" God you will be dead, but if you "hear" His voice, you will not be dead. ??!! ... So, according to WT theology; Will they, 144000, speak with humans? Will humans "heard" their voices as Adam, Eve, Abe, Cain did hear God's? Because "voice" is need to be heard for purpose of learning. Human will need to be instructed how to get "perfection" and how to find "true doctrines" without later, subsequently, afterwards so called "clarifications". :))

Organization is similar to individual, person. Both of them have past. With good and bad moments or periods. It can cause sort of shame and unpleasant feelings if someone tell this about us. But that is part of history, that we like or not like to hear again. If WTJWorg fights strong against people who supposedly braking "intellectual property and copy laws" by using PRESENT and OLD publications for revealing doctrines and interpretations made by Organization, let it be. But, you make mistake when criticize people who doing "Christian duty", and that is, among other things, - to speak what they know and believe is truth. I love your (and other people) quotes too, but not to level of giving like or upvote. I love them because it helps me to make comparison, testing and to recognize intellectual/spiritual positions, your's or mine.

I am generation of communist era, and i am generation of post communist era. I am affected with feudalism. And capitalism too, because they invented private property and market economy philosophy. Oh no, private property and market economy draws its roots from "paganism". And all what have "pagan origins" are forbidden for Christians aka JW members. Well WTJWorg must reconsider their Legal Status, because of "pagan origins" of secular laws. :)) But i am also affected by US Civil war, and affected by volcano Vesuvius, especially after the 79 AD eruption. :)) All what was written (and we inform ourselves about it) about every events in the past and present make us to be "generation of that something". :))

Apologize, this comments of yours are for @JW Insider I took liberty to say: WT and GB stuck on date and signs with generation issue. All 3 (three) components are strong part of WTJWorg 1 (one) doctrine.

I believe how this verses are for all of us, and GB too: Before God "small things" are of same importance as "big things". Spiritual things always have more than one opinion. We are authorized to choose what we consider is the best for us. He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. - Luke And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? - 1 Kings I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; - Deuteronomy I suggests, recommends to people who thinking like you, please change your attitude :))

This sound good for introducing new approach and view about "higher education" issue. WT publications and public lessons now should include advice how "higher education" is recommend only for adult JW members in their 50s. :))

This dualism was visible in articles. I can recall i noticed this two sort of "spiritual food" (was not aware of it then as later), which appeared alternately in publications. Heating - cooling principle. A kind of psychological war within one's own ranks (by coincident or semi-purposely or even purposely ?). Although at the end of the comment you praise spiritual progress and "valuable core of teachings", I cannot accept that the methodology of achievement, for a few good things for which words of praise could be found, is bordering on partial or sometimes complete manipulation of people who doubt nothing.

It seems barely possible that one could have been a JW for decades and later ask such a dopey question. It may be that the entire persona is a facade. I suppose how doctrine about FDS aka GB and "all belongings" are not part of core teachings ANY MORE. :)))

Yes, thanks for put this in focus. If exists Master who have nothing with material possessions and assets, that is Jesus. He was a Man who didn't care about money, real estate, diamonds and gold, position in society etc. A Man who gave advice: "sell everything and follow me", must be someone who don't have ANY, NOTHING of material possessions in some secular or religious organization today on Earth. Once more time, once again WT and GB made wrong teaching on Matthew 24:47 by making a mixture of materialist-spiritual interpretation...... for their own benefit. Jesus is Son of his Father who OWN and POSSES all earthly treasures. And They not need GB to collect and be in charge on things they already have. Neither today (or from 1919, 2013), nor in the some fictive future.

What is real truth about "2013 new light" presented in WT study magazine, that said how Faithful and Discrete Slave aka Governing Body in Bethel HQ in NY were not appointed "over all Masters belongings in 1919 but will be "during great tribulation"? - https://www.jw.org/en/library/magazines/w20130715/who-is-faithful-discreet-slave/ I found this video material that reveal some interesting elements about this "new light" from 2013.

I believe how this "guys stuck on the past" are wary, because they are not sure if they can trust an organization that has made false beliefs, doctrines in the past, and never show regret and apologize to members, become reliable today ?!. How you can believe they are reliable today, when they changing doctrines and interpretations, instructions on an annual basis ?!

What connecting this two is: God has nothing against them :))

Also, think, it is important to know the history of the organization to which someone belongs as an active member, as a person who dedicates his life to the goals of that same organization. The WT has had several Charters from the beginning (which have changed several times to this day) and in those charters it is written why WT exist and what it wants to achieve. These charters, from the first one during C.T. Russell in 1884 to the most recent, it seems to me 2003 (brand new, revised, with amendments, restated) are not quite so available if at all, and many JW's are not familiar with them, nor do they know they exist. The emphasis should be on how history is related to the present and vice versa. Is there any doubt that the past of the organization is being revised? In what, how much and why? If it is true that God will "pay everyone according to their deeds," then that would mean that our past and present are taken into account, right?

In 2017, the same - Open club and JW members had Closed club. But people, JW people too, participate very much in Open club, because it is more interesting :))

I think it is "closed" for only 489 members. :))

According to one article in WT magazine, JW members living in "spiritual paradise" already. JW people know what is God's purpose 2. spiritual paradise is an environment that is pleasing to the eyes and soothing to the nerves, allowing one to enjoy peace with one’s fellowman and with God 3. people approaching Jehovah’s Witnesses, seeking help to understand the Bible and to learn about spiritual paradise 4. Jehovah’s Witnesses are active in 235 lands and territories 5. people can found a spiritual paradise in association with Jehovah’s Witnesses and their knowledge about God and love in community 6. people doing God's will 7. people need to associate with a congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses Question is: If from some, any reason WT Society with all Legal Entities that support, organize and unites JW members by giving them proper knowledge aka "spiritual food" for living in "spiritual paradise", ceases to exist .....will the "spiritual paradise" also disappear?
