@4Jah2me Que? We, I myself included, have faith in what Jehovah's Kingdom will bring. I have faith in God and recognize him as the Father of the one we put faith in his teachings, Christ Jesus. 

I don't want to be rude, but welcome to the forums, also it does get a tad bit crazy here. Second, I don't think it is a good idea to assume such a thing when despite all of us being in the faith and truth, we are, each and everyone of us as an individual differ from one another, even by action and what we can and cannot do, etc.

@Matthew9969 Christmas is not a Christian holiday and or tradition. Jesus gave us only one command in which we celebrate, his Memorial.

Santa Claus, Yule Trees, etc has nothing to do with Jehovah or Jesus.

@Shiwiii No, I was only encouraged to seek Baptism,  even my late uncle who had no religous affiliation,  but was very hard on applying the Bible also encouraged me and others in my family Caza despues del bautismo y se salvo, as he puts it. But as I grew older, I took the steps necessary torwards Baptism myself, especially during my early preteen years. I made thos choice because I firmly accept what the Scriptures teach about Jehovah God and his Christ and I took the time and effort to put the teachings of the Scriptures first, even as far as to mold myself to be a better Christian, and a declaring that I myself want to serve God fully, and in doing so, I go about with the tools that I have been given to teach what Jesus taught regarding the good news and what the Kingdom would bring - caso y punto.

But the question still remains, if the term Mentally Diseased is in connection with what we see in Scripture correlating with this term, Mentally Depraved concerning specific individuals, why consider us in the wrong for pulling from the Scriptures itself?

In a simple term, do you agree with what is read in the letter to Timothy or not?

I like to add that this isn't anything new, others will simply term it as, Mentally Broken or Mentally Lost, Ill Minded, Diseased Mentality, and the list goes on. An odd one I heard that even alludes to the Scriptures is "A Broken Basket". This I only heard once lol, I dunno where the girl I met learned that from but when I talked to her, she only says this about people who is quick to start something without having all their facts in order, which is no different from an Apostate starting problems for Christians.

@Matthew9969 The choice of Baptism is up to the individual themselves, and that they feel that they are ready to full serve Jehovah God. Pretty much if they're ready for such a task they go about the steps taken to reach that Spiritual Goal.

@Arauna I would say people of different cultures have a view of strangers and assume things, that is, before they get to know them. Pretty much any person is like a book, you don't know unless you read.

I had some run ins with bad people who don't want to heard anything about the Bible but I've met some good folks who do, and be it a good or bad apperance, all people differ and their culture. 

For us Latinos tho, we are kinda a close bunch so we are open to hear from one another, especially when speaking the same language, especially if it is about family.

Ok and your point is? Not one from the Governing Body ever made a claim to be inspired at all. That was something brought up by people who assume with evidence to what was really said, in addition to that, I think some people here grilled you on this before.

Being anointed is like an invitation of God, so how are you so sure you are all knowing in this sense when you haven't even confronted or talked to them?

Plus you are going off into another subject, one, I believe another fella here who says he's anointed too, corrected you on a while back.

Yes. That is why we have to remain awake and keep on doing the work, fortifying our faith in the process. Because the day of Jehovah is like a thief in the night, unexpected and no one knows the day  not even the Angels, not even Jesus, etc. It is something like this that even drew a late intellectual mind into the Scriptures, and my professor loves talking about him.

@Witness That's a very weak response. That also throws into question Discples and Apostles who took the lead in the early congregation, i.e. some in Christendom equating Paul, Peter, and several others who were taking the lead, even some brothers who had some kind of authority, equating to God and Christ. So technically, you just jumbled together your own conclusion.

But let's be real here, as in, as real as a box of legos here, no one is claiming to be or being equal to God, not even an imperfect man or the governing body. You're just fitting the bill with the Scriptures talking about.

@Witness Lol, you do realize I said "other term" and mentioned "1 Timothy". Yes he would need to understand what an Apostate is, and he has to also understand the other term that in discussion, mentally diseased or as 1 Timothy puts it, in context, mentally depraved.

But you are saying this. I haven't seen or recall the governing body claiming to be one man (but elsewhere you said God/Jehovah).

Actually it is confusing. For instance, Jesus is said to be the mediator of God as seen in 1 Timothy 2 and elsewhere. If he is God then who is the really the mediator? Second, who sent the angel to Joseph if Jesus was still a baby Lastly several instances of Jesus not knowing something and or is fearful, let alone who was he pleading to or praying to. Or can God be anointed or Only Begotten.The list goes on?

Majority of the people I meet in the ministry are put off by the Trinity, even non religious people, who even made fun of Christians because of it. To make matters worse, people went on doing their own research to find out the truth about Jehovah God and the one he anointed (Christ/Messiah) - Jesus.

I don't recall the governing body claiming to be God or any of us made that claim, so the idolatry bit is a bit off handed.

Mentally Diseased (or Depraved) is in a sense of what is read in 1 Timothy 6 and several references like 2Co 11:3; 2Ti 3:8; Jude 10.

I think someone missed what was said in 1 Timothy 6.

3 If any man teaches another doctrine and does not agree with the wholesome instruction, which is from our Lord Jesus Christ, nor with the teaching that is in harmony with godly devotion,  4 he is puffed up with pride and does not understand anything. He is obsessed with arguments and debates about words. These things give rise to envy, strife, slander, wicked suspicions,  5 constant disputes about minor matters by men who are corrupted in mind and deprived of the truth, thinking that godly devotion is a means of gain.

I am guessing by that logic the Judges of Israel were just one dude. Probably the religious leaders and the leaders of the Jews....

The Trinity is confusing, reasons why there are many people pointing that out, even as much as to bring up things that Jehovah God had said linked to what was given to Moses or Jehovah God's own testimony in the Old Testament.

There's always a hate group linked with any group of people, organization, school, etc. Even for us in the truth. We already had a run in with ExJws in the past and the county and it's people were on our side. Not to mentioned they turned a non religious dude until an extremely protective defender who now sees all ExJws as enemies. Thankfully his girlfriend ruminates the tension this dude has.

And theres neutral people who just wants to learn about Jehovah's Witnesses, for instance, the funniest thing a month or two ago we had a Spiderman cosplayer (a guy in the Spider-Verse suit) asking for a NWT Bible and was curious about JWs to one of the brothers who were outside.

With the things going on now, I can care less about hate groups because they want progress or solutions and go about these things in a way that makes them look like the bad guys. Not to mention the one track mindedness mentality they rock on the daily. 

Well there's one thing... You can't make fund of God himself.

@JW Insider Now that you mentioned that, some who have thr ban hammer sometimes use it with bad intentions. An example would be if you logically defeat an admin in a discussion of, for instance, there are superhero junkies who take it to the extreme, prove the admin wrong and embarrass him or her in front of other users, the ban hammer will be thrown.

There was a forum I use to be on that has some weird global announcement. When someone gets banned or perma banned, large red text will appear on the screen in your English preference and everyone can make comment in a global chat.

At the end of the day tho, you give someone power to do something there's no telling what they'll do.
