Peter, picture two fruit trees growing side by side.  One is full of good, edible fruit.  Each piece is desirable to eat. The tree is healthy, with fruit that not only contains nourishment, but healing properties. (Rev 22:1,2)
Next to it is another tree, and lying at its base is fruit that has already fallen, and rotting. Flies and wasps are having a constant feast on its bounty.  On the tree itself, you see fruit turning brown from disease, barely holding on to the branches. True, there may be a handful of specimens that still look good enough to eat; but anyone with common sense would realize that relying on that tree for healing nourishment, would be an act of foolishness.  (Ps 1:1-3)
Which tree would you choose to eat from? 
The first tree represents the word of God in Jesus Christ.  To make it clear, a picture of the Bible might be the appropriate symbol to place next to it.  Better yet, perhaps a drawing of Jesus Christ, who is the tree of life. (Rev 2:7)
The second tree could aptly be named “Beliefs Clarified”, with the appropriate symbol of Wt’s website that you eagerly provide in full color, leaning against the trunk.  Its beauty fades under swarms of flies feasting on rotten fruit.
Leading individuals to the labyrinth of JW org, does not lead them to the tree of life.  Continuously, this “tree” hides its rotten “fruit” by purging old and failed teachings.  Still, if a student of the Bible decided to do a search on specific teachings within the labyrinth, confusion likely will result since some fruit that has turned from disease, still clings to the branches. (2 Pet 2:1-3)
However, most newcomers investigating its fruit, stay close to the entrance of the labyrinth and feast on what looks appetizing and “healthy” to eat, provided through the most recent videos, magazines and books.  One thing that the GB is an expert at, is diverting the attention of their embarrassing past through a sort of "artificial selection", to glorify their past activities in a new shiny up to date offering of fruit. 
“Watch out for false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are voracious wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruit. Grapes are not gathered from thorns or figs from thistles, are they? 17 In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad[aa](“diseased”) tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree is not able to bear bad fruit, nor a bad tree to bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 So then, you will recognize them by their fruit.”  Matt 7:15-20
We recognize false prophets by their failed teachings and doctrine of men; yet incredibly, the Wt. has exposed a portion of their rotten fruit for the world to see, while also convincing millions to keep eating from their tree.  They have disguised themselves as servants of righteousness.  2 Cor 11:13-15
If you remainin me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done for you. 8 My Father is honored by this, that you bear much fruit and show that you are my disciples.  John 15:7-8
Has the GB shown they are true disciples of Christ by the fruit that they bear?
 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that remains, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.”  John 15:16
Do you condemn a person for rejecting the doctrine of men – rotten fruit? Do you, Peter, condemn a person who follows and “eats” from the tree of life?  Rev 2:7

Your org is not multi national in the true sense. It is american run, american dictated. Hence it has no love, no mercy, and does not care about the collateral damage. Satan uses the american way to protect your immoral Org. This can be seen by the ARC, Charity Commision, IICSA, Reclaimed Voices, and others that have brought the CSA in the JW org out into the light. Whereas the amercian way allows your GB and their lawyers to continue to hide Pedophiles in the american part of the Org and to continue to hide that 25 + year database. 
To think that in Australia, Netherlands, UK the truth has been revealed. BUT in America the GB continue to build their castles and hide the truth. And you people still worship them.

Understanding the Sign of the Son of Man...
 
Brother Russell also mentions that this time of trouble could last a certain amount of time as in the time of Noah. Then he mentions, "Then, later on, will come the Epiphania; that is to say, the revelation, or manifestation, of the present One.
This will not be a manifestation in the flesh, but in a great Time of Trouble, symbolically represented as fire, as when we read, "He shall be revealed in flaming fire, taking vengeance." -- 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10.
Christ Jesus referred to this sign when he said: “Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in lamentation, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” (Matt. 24:30) Thus the 'age of violence' was ushered in as the whole world experiences the Last Days. This age or time period will indeed come to an end (Matthew 24:14) as this prophecy is being fulfilled for ALL to SEE.            

All the chosen ones know they must die in order to join Jesus in his kingdom - now in the end of the global system of things.
The NW study bible shows that Titus effected the conquest in only 4 months and 25 days in 70 CE. Due to the actions of the extremists within the city.  The tribulation was intense but remarkably short.  More than 1 million killed and almost the same number taken as slaves.
In 66 CE when Vespasian came the time was cut short so that the anointed Christians could flee the city.  They were not in the city when the Romans came back.
Matt 24: 22  What will happen on a global scale during the coming great tribulation? The UN will turn against religion at the beginning of the great tribulation.  But the UN attack on religion will be "cut short" so that the true religion will not be destroyed with the false. True religion will survive.
The political ten horns will not be allowed to annihilate God's people. 

Agreed. We must be careful that we do not fall into the trap of Numerology. 

It just jars with me to use the resurrection of Jesus as a definite time table for future events.  You see, not one person on earth can compare their life with that of Jesus.  He is absolutely unique.  Most of us who want to live through to the "rest" period of 1000 years made possible by Jehovah  under rulership of his Son, will not be anointed. Many of us may live through and not need a resurrection,  and will live on earth - not heaven.
The "sign of Jonah" has already taken place (fulfilled in Jesus) and nowhere is there mention in the scriptures that the sign of Jonah will appear again. It relates only to Jesus. 
Now when you talk of the flood - and last days are in many ways like the flood - that time table I may accept with a pinch of salt.  1914 + 120 = 134
We are so close now to the UN taking power over from the world authorities to bring Health security, environment security and financial security...... And we know from bible prophecy that UN will rule for one hour with ten new kings. .....
That one hour may be 12 years or it may be shorter.   Remember, Jehovah is the one who decides the exact day and hour.  So, for now ....  I wait and see.....   Hunger is looming, more pestilences are looming, natural phenomena - disasters - are looming....  and in human society the biggest earthquake ever.... is looming! 
I went back to Hosea 6 - and I can see you took the scripture out of context.  This is about unfaithful Israel and Juda, how they must repent and return to be healed.   I think one should not just quote the one verse as if it pertains to the beginning of the millennium: 
Come, and let us return to Jehovah,
For he has torn us to pieces, but he will heal us.
He struck us, but he will bind our wounds.
 2 He will revive us after two days.
On the third day he will raise us up,
And we will live before him."
 
I a with you on this - we should be awake and look for the signs that are clear from the scriptures.

From your very first posts on this topic until now, many of your posts have contained claims that apparently have no evidence to back them up. And so many of the sources you have been quoting are merely the same sources that contradict your claims. Perhaps you could start explaining the reasons you make claims that appear to be the exact opposite of where the evidence leads. I know you like to point out how others are distorting nearly everything on this topic, but you never point out any specifics. Also, when you just make claims without any evidence, it could be that your own claims are just as distorted, or even more so. Just something to consider.
For example, why not start with your above claim that the board of directors weren't a legitimate body under the law. Where did you get that idea?

There are exceptions to any general request.  If everyone did as they pleased there would be chaos, so everyone usually obliges willingly ,,,,,,,   but congregations are always very willing to make exceptions for the elderly.  So I agree with Tom...... they are not orders but people willingly obey any request.....  big difference in attitude.

Yes. I can.......  the flood was a catastrophic event with the earth ripping open (under the sea) to expose the underground water and even lava coming up.  The sea pushed up and created tsunamis which rolled forward and later retracted.  If you look at the land mass of North America and the situation of the mass graves, you will find that most of the animals are in two very long graves (trenches) which are hundreds miles long.  This was when the water pushed whole ecosystems into gullies.   These animals are often twisted into positions which indicate a mass extinction event..... (scientists try to show it is a meteor).... but a meteor does not deposit large animals into a long gully hundreds of miles long -water does. 
They found a kind of bark in much of the coal.  This was made by  trees floating on water, rolling against each other and loosing its bark.....the bark floats down to the bottom of the water where there is little oxygen and the heavy pressure of the water does its work. Coal forms in conditions with much pressure. Carrying a pail of water tells one how heavy water is. The flood was a year long... so floating things get water logged ad sink. 
If animals were lying out in the open for thousands of years waiting for layers of ground to cover them - would the majority of them not be partially eaten by other carnivorous birds or carrion feeders who in the meantime proliferate?  On the other hand we see that birds no longer had a place to fly to and also succumbed to the prevailing conditions. (when evolutionists find one single bone with teeth marks on it, it becomes major news.  LOL ...  and the proven 'fact' of evolution once again receives its propaganda.
Most of the deposits of fossils have adult animals with very few babies with them.  This also indicates an event where animals were running to higher ground or a place of safety and were caught up with.  What about the mountainous deposits which have layers of earth with sea shells  in it.  (the layers of the grand canyon is a good example).  layer upon layer was quickly formed due to the weigh of the water. 
The evidence is overwhelming for a catastrophic flood.  Evolutionists do not speak of the deposits that have contemporary animals with them...  I have read of a pit with contemporary animals and prehistoric animals together..... 
There are many anomalies in the evolution theory that can easily be explained if one explains it as a catastrophic flood.
 

True - they equate science with truth.... but they forget that IMPERFECT humans are making the assumptions these theories are based upon.  Most of them are theory upon theory but the conclusions are defective because the premise is inaccurate. Mathematics is also a language to express things which cannot be said in verbal language.  Does it mean that every equation is truth / reality?   NO.  Much of science is unproven and only theory.  Any scientist that tells you that they know it all, is a liar.   Where did the energy in our universe, and the energy within the matter come from? - is still not proven!  
Jehovah is the source of all dynamic energy and his intelligence organized the matter and the natural laws we see in nature.
 
Most of the "scientific" methods" in evolution are the highly imaginative imaginations of illustrators and scientists.  The scientific methods is: to repeat an experiment to get the same results - this does NOT apply to the theory of evolution.  To do that you have to be able to go back in time.  When ones DOES go back in time and look at the EVIDENCE in the fossils -   one sees that the theory does not line up with the REALITIES in the fossil record and the Geological record.
Therefore the GB use science which has been through the true scientific method.
This is why I call evolution a quasi-science...... pseudo science, a cult or a religion... or something to that effect.
The universe came into being very long ago - and the earth was part of that.  Afterward, at the right time, the earth was prepared for humans to live on.   That is why ALL the days of creation is spoken of in the bible as one DAY.  It is not a 24 hour day.
Science teaches that all mass is energy.  How can we be sure? Well, burn a planet, a human, and animal or a house - it releases energy or heat.  For Jehovah to create the universe he organized his energy to create mass out of his energy.  There was nothing and then there was creation because energy was used.  Time and 3 dimensional space came into being in our physical universe which has mass.  Jehovah is timeless and has no mass. He himself says so! How is that for accuracy of science! Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom.... 
 

This is an amazing interview.  I see many similarities with what is going on in the education system today.  Young children learning the morals and the jargon of the future. The craziness and divisions going on in society with the new philosophies which are focused on only the material - what the body can produce.  No land ownership, no rights for humans; no police and NO rights or even the choice of a religion.  We are slowly moving into the next totalitarian phase of the world. 
I have the 5 minute talk this week which is a heartfelt interview of a young child (now a sister) who survived the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia.  She often prayed to the true God in her severe distress when children were killed for a small mistake.
