Adam was hanging around the Garden of Eden feeling very lonely.    So, God asked him, "What's wrong with you?"    Adam said he didn't have anyone to talk to.    God said that He was going to make Adam a companion and that it would be a woman.    He said, "This pretty lady will gather food for you, she will cook for you, and when you discover clothing, she will wash it for you.    She will always agree with every decision you make and she will not nag you.    And will always be the first to admit she was wrong when you've had a disagreement.    She will praise you!    She will bear your children.    And never ask you to get up in the middle of the night to take care of them.    "She will NEVER have a headache and will freely give you love and passion whenever you need it."    Adam asked God, "What will a woman like this cost?"    God replied, "An arm and a leg."    Then Adam asked, "What can I get for a rib?"

The Librarian reacted to Bible Speaks in Why Were the Ten Commandments Shattered?
Why Were the Ten Commandments Shattered?
Source of Tablets. The Ten Words were first orally given at Mount Sinai by the angel of Jehovah. (Ex 20:1; 31:18; De 5:22; 9:10; Ac 7:38, 53; see also Ga 3:19; Heb 2:2.)
Moses then ascended the mountain to receive the Ten Words in written form on two stone tablets, along with other commandments and instructions.
During his extended 40-day stay, the people grew restless and made a molten calf to worship. Descending the mountain, Moses saw this spectacle of idolatry and threw down “the tablets [that] were the workmanship of God,” the very tablets upon which the Ten Words had been written, and shattered them.—Ex 24:12; 31:18–32:19; De 9:8-17; compare Lu 11:20
Jehovah later told Moses: “Carve out for yourself two tablets of stone like the first ones, and I must write upon the tablets the words that appeared on the first tablets, which you shattered.” (Ex 34:1-4)
And so after another 40 days spent in the mountain, a duplicate copy of the Ten Words was obtained. These were kept by Moses in an ark of acacia wood. (De 10:1-5)
The two tablets were called “the tablets of the covenant.” (De 9:9, 11, 15) Evidently this is why the gold-overlaid ark later made by Bezalel, in which the tablets were eventually kept, was called “the ark of the covenant.” (Jos 3:6, 11; 8:33; Jg 20:27; Heb 9:4)
This legislation of the Ten Words was also called “the testimony” (Ex 25:16, 21; 40:20) and the “tablets of the Testimony” (Ex 31:18; 34:29), hence the expressions “the ark of the testimony” (Ex 25:22; Nu 4:5), and also “the tabernacle of the Testimony,” that is, the tent where the Ark was housed.—Ex 38:21
Concerning the first set of tablets, it is stated that they not only were made by Jehovah but were also “written on by God’s finger,” evidently denoting God’s spirit. (Ex 31:18; De 4:13; 5:22; 9:10)
Likewise, the second set of tablets, although carved out by Moses, were written upon by Jehovah.
When, at Exodus 34:27, Moses was told, “Write down for yourself these words,” reference was not to the Ten Words themselves, but, rather, as on a previous occasion (Ex 24:3, 4), he was to write down some of the other details pertaining to the covenant regulations.

And the more times this virus is transmitted, the more opportunities it has to mutate into virus that is deadlier for young people. Like the 1918/1919 flu.

I'm also surprised at the extensive use of old English throughout the film. Most likely due to everyone back then linking the King James Bible and the old English used within it.
I wonder if younger English speakers today can understand them?

The Librarian reacted to Kosonen in Will JWs religious activity ever return to normal?
A week ago Donald Trump promised that he will restore normalcy to religious activity. But the Supreme Court has decided against it.
Here is an article about that:
    https://jonathanturley.org/2020/05/30/supreme-court-rules-5-4-to-uphold-pandemic-orders-limiting-church-services/
So, it looks dark for those who want to go back to normal.
I start actually to think that the canceling of Jehovah's witnesses meetings in person and field service and cart service could in reality be a partial fulfillment  of prophecy in Daniel 11:30,31.
“He will go back and hurl denunciations against the holy covenant and act effectively; and he will go back and will give attention to those leaving the holy covenant. 31 And arms will stand up, proceeding from him; and they will profane the sanctuary, the fortress, and remove the constant feature. “And they will put in place the disgusting thing that causes desolation.
The removal of the constant feature  could refer to the theocratic ministry conducted by Jehovah's witnesses that has been stopped in large scale due to Covid-19 related restrictions.
Interesting that the Supreme Court continues to uphold restrictions against the will of  President Donald Trump. So it seems to become a long story with the potential to just get worse.
Maybe they will only allow church services to get back to normal after they put in place in all places of worship the "disgusting thing that causes desolation"?
The disgusting thing  seems to be the same thing as the image of the beast described in the following way in Revelation 13:14: "while it tells those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the wild beast that had the sword-stroke and yet revived.15  And it was permitted to give breath to the image of the wild beast, so that the image of the wild beast should both speak and cause to be killed all those who refuse to worship the image of the wild beast."
This disgusting thing and the image of the beast seem to be a high-tech idol that will represent the beast that will be placed in places of worship.
Yes things are just to get worse before they get better for the Jehovah's witnesses.

The Librarian reacted to Isabella in Central Russian court places members of Jehovah’s Witnesses in custody until September
As part of the case, ten people are suspected of running a local religious organization affiliated with Jehovah’s Witnesses
VORONEZH, July 15. /TASS/. The Leninsky District Court in the Central Russian city of Voronezh ruled to place in custody until September members of the Jehovah’s Witnesses religious organization, outlawed in Russia, the court’s press service said on Tuesday.
"The court has chosen a pretrial custody for 1 month and 22 days, or until 03.09.2020 <...> as a measure of pretrial restraint for the individuals suspected of extremist activity," the statement says.
As part of the case, ten people are suspected of running a local religious organization headlined ‘Tsentralnaya, Voronezh.’ The organization, active in Voronezh and surrounding districts, is a part of the Administrative Center of Jehovah’s Witnesses, earlier deemed extremist and outlawed by the Russian Supreme Court.
The suspects are aged between 24 and 56. They were detained after more than 110 searches, during which large amounts of books and other prohibited printing works were seized.
On April 20, 2017, the Russian Supreme Court declared Jehovah’s Witnesses and all affiliated regional organizations an extremist organization. The organization’s activities are outlawed in Russia.

The Librarian reacted to Isabella in Pandemic doesn't stop ministry for Jehovah's Witnesses
Jon and Lily Adams have lost track of the numbers of letters they've posted.
“It's a lot,” Mrs. Adams offered with a laugh.
She and her husband settle in to write letter after letter at their home in Maumee on Fridays and Saturdays, the days they dedicate to ministry through their kingdom hall. Before the onset of the pandemic, they were joining members of their congregation in fanning out across the neighborhood; these days, they're sharing largely the same message in a more socially distant medium.
“Usually I start off by explaining that I'm not able to come and speak with them in person because of everything that's going on with the pandemic, but I still wanted to share something with them,” Mr. Adams said of the individualized letters he's been writing.

I sew sometimes and do arty-farty things. Other things I want to do will just have to wait - not enough time in the day for all I want to do.

Here in East London, South Africa a few years ago a man who was very religious had slight mental problem. The church he belonged to could either not assist, or he did not properly state his problems. In desperation he went to the East London zoo, climbed over the wall of the lion enclosure, walked up to the resting lions and said "Let the battle begin. "The lions killed him." I will not disclose his name, but he may have lived at the same old age home where I am, because I found his Bible. The owner of the old age allowed me to have the Bible
