Obedience

"To obey is better than a sacrifice." (1 Samuel 15:22) Saul, Israel's first king, failed to recognize how important it is to the issue of Universal Sovereignty, that we carefully follow through when doing God's will. If he had, there would not have existed Haman to vex Israel. Saul chose badly, bringing dire consequences for himself and others. Our various Bible lessons this week encourage us to trust Jehovah's judgment, cultivate humility, endurance,loyalty, even, blazing hope. Our love for Jehovah and others will help us to be successful.
