Temple of Herod in the days of Jesus....
The measures of the temple were portentosas.
This rectangle, which occupied just over one fifth of the surface of the city of Jerusalem,  was closed by  sturdy
45-meter-high walls.
Its north face, known as the other's atrium, and whose end was the tower of Antonia, was 275 meters long. Opposite the Olivette was the facade of the temple - all in white marble - 392 meters high. The western wall was practically the same size as the previous one, and finally the southern face, which encompasses the sacred grounds of the castle, and where the module has two large doors, 245 meters long.
In terms of the temple of Herod himself, which stood in the middle of this large rectangle, he had 176 meters in length  for 127  meters wide.

Temple of Herod in the days of Jesus....
Built by Herod El Grande, this temple became famous for being the headquarters of the Jewish religion, which would now be the Vatican for Catholics. When we are in this area and time, Jesus was a boy who grew up in a modest village in Nazareth. He played between his streets full of sand and stones, worked the earth, learned the craft of Joseph, etc. I mean, he was a modest boy who had the most important and fundamentals to survive without luxury, not even know about it.
And one day he sees the splendor of the temple of Jerusalem, with gold, full of luxury.
