How does truth turn in to a lie?  It happens gradually by “adjusting” facets of it, bit by bit, drawing little attention to the change.  Eventually, as time passes, it is good to go - to be packaged and sold as “truth”.

Daily text, October 8, 2022:

The body is one but has many members.—1 Cor. 12:12.

What a privilege we have to be part of Jehovah’s congregation! We are in a spiritual paradise that is full of peaceful, happy people. What is your place in the congregation? The apostle Paul compared the congregation to the human body. He also compared the individuals in a congregation to parts of the body. (Rom. 12:4-8; 1 Cor. 12:12-27; Eph. 4:16) One lesson we can learn from Paul’s illustration is that each one of us has an important place in Jehovah’s family. Paul begins his illustration by saying: “Just as we have in one body many members, but the members do not all have the same function, so we, although many, are one body in union with Christ, but individually we are members belonging to one another.” (Rom. 12:4, 5) What was Paul’s point? Each one of us has a different role in the congregation, but each one of us is valuable. w 20/08/20

The Body of Christ is taught as including all JWs; but compare this to previous teachings:

Questions from readers, 1964/8/1 = His body members are also anointed with Jehovah’s spirit at the time of their being begotten by Jehovah to be sons of God. They become members of the body of Christ, the Anointed One.—2 Cor. 1:21, 22.

The same scriptures from 2 Cor. are found in the Daily Text, but this is saying all members of the Body of Christ are anointed.

W 1956/1/15 55-56 - “Because there is one loaf, we, although many, are one body, for we are all partaking [eating] of that one loaf.” (1 Cor. 10:17NW) To which body does Paul here refer by the words “one body”? Not to the personal, fleshly body of Jesus which is symbolized by the loaf of unleavened bread. No, but to the entire congregation of spiritual Israelites of which Jesus Christ is the spiritual Head. This congregation under him is later spoken of in this same letter of Paul as Christ’s body: “Now you are Christ’s body, and members individually. And God has set the respective ones in the congregation.”—1 Cor. 12:27, 28NW.

Again, another set of scriptures are repeated, but referring only to the anointed of “Israel”, not to all JWs..

Wt 1951/1/16 p. 60-61 “Memorial partakers must keep clearly in mind that they are “Christ’s body”, symbolized by the one loaf, and consequently they must keep unity as “one body”. We must have a “proper sense of the Body”, sensing our personal unity with the Head Jesus Christ. If we do not, then we will become spiritually “weak and sickly” and even be “sleeping in death”, as many of the Corinthians did back there.”

The Body of Christ is the spiritual Temple of God.  (John 2:19,21)  Now that this has all changed, proper sense has flown out the window.  Does this mean that all JWs will be partaking soon at your memorial?  Does it mean you are all the Bride of Christ?  (2 Cor 11:2)  Does it mean that you are all priests in the spiritual Temple of God?  (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16)

Why has truth in the Watchtower about the anointed as the Body of Christ, been altered, fully changed into a lie?  Why didn’t they leave well enough alone?  If all JWs are considered the “Body of Christ” today, then selling their doctrine that all JWs comprise the Temple of God is easy, and it promotes the false doctrine that the “man of lawlessness”, who is found sitting in the temple of God” (2 Thess 2:4) is found in the world of politics; and it leaves room for Wt. to point to the persecution of JWs, received at the hands of political rulers.

If the GB must promote a changed doctrine from what was true to what is false, we must ask WHY.

This is why – “Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. (1914) Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destructionwho opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.”

The priests are “living stones” of God’s Temple.  JWs not anointed, are not included. (1 Pet 2:5,9)

Who has taken his seat in the Temple dwelling of God in the anointed ones? (1 Cor 3:16,17) The elder body who “represent the anointed priesthood”.  Can any of you tell me a time in biblical history when the priesthood has been allowed by God to be subjugated by “foreigners” – those not anointed?  Ezek 44:6-9

The gradual teachings where truth was evident but is now erased, was prophesied to happen in the last days.  A “false prophet” and the organization it directs (the collective elder body as the "Beast") are demon inspired. (Rev 13:1,2,11,12) Wt.’s teachings have changed over the years; not one JW who has been in the organization for a number of years, can deny it.  This gradual change is defined in Rev 16:13-16. It gives us the illustration of a tadpole turning into a frog through various stages, and we have the scriptural example of what “frogs” can mean – a plague.  (Exod 8:1-4; Rev 6:8; 9:18)

Ultimately, the teaching about the Body of Christ has changed to disguise the identity of the “man of lawlessness”. The elders “stand where they don’t belong”.(Mark 13:14) The scriptures CLEARLY show us the detrimental folly of replacing the priests of God.  (Num 18:7) If you stay in the organization, you are playing with fire – the condemnation of the word of God. (Jer 23:29)  While you are all worried about the “apostates” outside of the organization, your greatest worry, is being found among them in the organization. (2 Thess 2:8-12; Rev 18:4-8)

Matt 24:15,16 - “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.”

Check Wt’s Greek Interlinear and you will find that it is translated “having stood in place holy the one”.  In order to add credence to a false doctrine, your Bible has it translated as, “standing in a holy place”. This makes it easy for your leaders to point to any church, any “holy place” they want, to say that is where the “man of lawlessness” is found, when all the while the elders have trampled the Temple priesthood.  They have trampled down the sanctuary of God.  (Dan 11:31,32,36; Rev 11:1,2)

What is “the holy place”?  The Bible defines it in Exod 28:43.  Why haven’t they told you the same?

Matt 24:24,25

@Witness, I think you are misunderstanding what that Daily Text was saying. They weren't saying that all Jehovah's Witnesses are part of The body of Christ. They were saying that illustratively we are all part of A body with Christ as head.

The word "body" is another word for "organization". It is possible to have an organization within an organization. The human body has organelles that are organized into cells that are organized into tissues that are organized into organs that are organized into a body. The head of the entire body is also the head of the organs. Wherever that head goes, the rest go.

Jehovah is called "Jehovah of Armies". He is the head of His angelic sons. He is also the head of his human sons.

Jesus takes Adam's place. Jesus is head of those who will live on earth. They are part of his "congregation" of kids on earth. Jesus is also the head of the "bride" who join him to live in heaven, the "congregation" of anointed ones.

Most of those who read the Daily Text are not anointed. It is wise for the writers to write with the audience in mind. Jesus told us to minister to others. That's what the writers were trying to do.

As far as frogs go, the frog illustration you gave doesn't really fit Jehovah's Witnesses as an organization. But the Bible does say that the Dragon and the False Prophet (US/UK) and the Beast (entire political setup) spew forth hateful propaganda like "frogs". Their negative, hateful speech originates from a hateful heart.

"But the mouth of the wicked blurts out bad things."

Here is what Jesus said:

"A good man brings good out of the good treasure of his heart, but a wicked man brings what is wicked out of his wicked treasure; for out of the heart’s abundance his mouth speaks."

"Offspring of vipers, how can you speak good things when you are wicked? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.  The good man out of his good treasure sends out good things, whereas the wicked man out of his wicked treasure sends out wicked things.  I tell you that men will render an account on Judgment Day for every unprofitable saying that they speak;  for by your words you will be declared righteous, and by your words you will be condemned.”

"Further, he said: “That which comes out of a man is what defiles him.  For from inside, out of the heart of men, come injurious reasonings: sexual immorality, thefts, murders,  acts of adultery, greed, acts of wickedness, deceit, brazen conduct, an envious eye, blasphemy, haughtiness, and unreasonableness.  All these wicked things come from within and defile a man."

It is appropriate to call out wrongdoing, but we have to be careful not to "multiply frogs" in the process.

"But now you must put them all away from you: wrath, anger, badness, abusive speech, and obscene talk out of your mouth."

"Let a rotten word not come out of your mouth, but only what is good for building up as the need may be, to impart what is beneficial to the hearers.  Also, do not be grieving God’s holy spirit, with which you have been sealed for a day of releasing by ransom. Put away from yourselves every kind of malicious bitterness, anger, wrath, screaming, and abusive speech, as well as everything injurious."

It's not easy to stay calm when we see injustice and evil. We get angry sometimes, and it's not wrong to hate what is bad. Righteous indignation is appropriate, but Satan will try to tempt us to go beyond what is appropriate.

When Job's false comforters were spouting frog-like hate, Job said: "And who inspired you to say such things?" It wasn't Jehovah who inspired them.

"Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired statement, but test the inspired statements to see whether they originate with God..."

Hate what is bad, love what is good. Hate wrongdoing, not the wrongdoer. We must not imitate the hateful speech of the wicked one.

The hateful speech of the wicked one is going to get worse. Slander and blasphemy and lies. Jesus warned us:

"And I saw three unclean inspired expressions that looked like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the wild beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet.  They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and they perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty."

After Jesus told John about the "frogs" he told us how to protect ourselves from their poison:

“Look! I am coming as a thief. Happy is the one who stays awake and keeps his outer garments, so that he may not walk naked and people look upon his shamefulness.”

Love. Love is the "outer garment" that covers us. It is the "anti-venom" so-to-speak.

@Witness, I agree with you that those taking the lead in the organization have allowed or participated in many bad things. Take care that your righteous indignation does not cross the boundary into abusive speech and hate, a snare of the Devil. The Jezebels in the organization will be dealt with by Jesus himself. Jehovah will rebuke them. You don't have to. "Pursue peace with all people and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord.  Carefully watch that no one fails to obtain the undeserved kindness of God, so that no poisonous root springs up to cause trouble and many are defiled by it..." Admonish, yes, warn, yes, point out truth, yes, but not hate. It hurts the hater and clouds the vision.

Hate is a poisonous root. Jesus did not give us the authority to judge anyone at present. He will judge who is worthy of life and who is worthy of death. We must be patient.

"Love is patient."

@Witness, If you are part of the body of the Christ and some on the governing body are also part of that body, are you not willing to be patient in hopes that your brothers will turn around and not have to die? The ransom is enough for them. If they repent, it is enough. If they don't repent, they will sleep. You don't have to hate them. Jesus nailed the reproach to the torture stake.

Praise Jehovah for His undeserved kindness to us all.

@Witness has always misunderstood it. That's nothing new. However, why bring back a dead issue just to post, since you have the same kind of misunderstanding in principle with 99% of scripture.

Case in point. Neither @AnnaNana and @Witnesscan be part of Christ Body with unrepentant apostasy. Especially when those deeds have apostatized against God's Holy Spirit.

Who appointed you judge little darling? It certainly wasn't God. But, you forgot to include yourself in the participated in many bad things part.

"This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Of these, I am foremost."

I did not forget.

"Two men were debtors to a certain lender; the one was in debt for 500 de·narʹi·i, but the other for 50.  When they did not have anything to pay him back with, he freely forgave them both. Therefore, which one of them will love him more?”  In answer Simon said: “I suppose it is the one whom he forgave more.” He said to him: “You judged correctly.”"

I have been forgiven much.

"Or do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality,  thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom.  And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean; you have been sanctified; you have been declared righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God."

I am no judge of who will get everlasting life. Jesus is. The scriptures make clear what behaviors are not fitting for those who will live forever. Jehovah tells us what is good and what is bad. It's His Tree.

Hate is not fitting. Neither are these things: "Outside are the dogs and those who practice spiritism and those who are sexually immoral and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices lying."

@Witness knows that those taking the lead in the organization are doing or allowing some things that Jehovah hates. When she points it out, it's not wrong. A loving sister or brother will try to help their family members.

"Therefore, if I, the Lord and Teacher, washed your feet, you also should wash the feet of one another."

Jehovah loves the lowly ones. He loves all His Children, those in the organization and those out of the organization, those asleep in death and those currently alive. He will gather them together under His Name through Jesus. He is Not Partial.

"I became a minister of this according to the free gift of God’s undeserved kindness that was given me through the operation of his power. To me, a man less than the least of all holy ones, this undeserved kindness was given, so that I should declare to the nations the good news about the unfathomable riches of the Christ  and should make everyone see the administration of the sacred secret that has been hidden through the ages in God, who created all things.  This was so that now, through the congregation, there might be made known to the governments and the authorities in the heavenly places the greatly diversified wisdom of God.  This is according to the eternal purpose that he formed in connection with the Christ, Jesus our Lord,  by means of whom we have this freeness of speech and free access with confidence through our faith in him."

Praise Jehovah for His Undeserved Kindness to the Lowly Ones. The ransom is enough for us. Jesus and Jehovah said so.💖

"Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life."

Praise Jah!

No, but you are judging those that are following God's instruction through Christ to keep the church clean from wrongdoers and the unrepentant at the present. Once again, who appointed you to sit in Moses chair, just like the rest of the apostates?

God nor Christ gave such gifts to false prophets. They got that on their own, blessed by Satan.

There are different types of judging, some of which we are authorized and commanded to do by the Christ, and some of which we are not authorized to do.

"One man judges one day as above another; another judges one day the same as all others; let each one be fully convinced in his own mind."

"But in reply Peter and John said to them: “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves.  But as for us, we cannot stop speaking about the things we have seen and heard."

Jesus gives us the authority to judge whether someone is a rotten tree. He said "by their fruits you will recognize them." He said to avoid rotten things.

We don't have to condemn anyone to everlasting death. That's not our judgment call. But we can judge for ourselves the things within our realm of authority.

Jesus said there would be wolves in sheeps clothing. If someone has been bitten by a wolf, it's not wrong to say: "That was a wolf that bit me!" It's okay to "judge" a wolf as a wolf. It is within our God-given authority to recognize rotten things.

I don't know where you got such ideas, @Moise. Satan doesn't "bless" anyone. He doesn't have anything to give. He stole everything he has. He's a no-good squatter, and Jehovah has tolerated his rebellion, but not for much longer.

I have not slandered the governing body. My "judgment" of them as wolves in sheeps clothing is from my own personal experience with them. When you've been bitten by a wolf, you know it's a wolf.

Even wolves can change. The ransom is big. If we know there is a wolf, then we are under obligation to warn the rest of the flock. Jesus is coming to kick out all the wolves in sheeps clothing so they can't hurt anybody anymore.

@Moise, you talk of many things that you have no knowledge about. They say ignorance is bliss, but that's not true. Jehovah is the God of Truth. All the things I am saying about the governing body and their lawless deeds and Jesus' coming to clean house are true and will come true. It is according to Jehovah's Word as recorded in the Bible.

"'Vengeance is mine, I will repay,' says Jehovah."

Praise Jehovah.

Confusing scripture yet again to benefit your distorted argument. Keep them coming, I'm having a good laugh with my coffee. 😂

Matt. 7:1 “Judge not, that you be not judged.
Matt. 7:2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.
Matt. 7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
Matt. 7:4, Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye?
Matt. 7:5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.
Matt. 7:6 ¶ v“Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.

Frogs, dogs, and pigs. Vipers and offspring of vipers. Jehovah gave humans an assignment involving judging such things:

"Now Jehovah God had been forming from the ground every wild animal of the field and every flying creature of the heavens, and he began bringing them to the man to see what he would call each one; and whatever the man would call each living creature, that became its name."

@Moise, if you can't tell a wolf from a sheep, I can't help you. You can judge for yourself and call a wolf a sheep and a sheep a wolf if you want, but I think that's kinda silly, just like those faces you keep making.

I hope you enjoy your coffee. Solomon said it is good to enjoy the little things in life.

"I have concluded that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good during their life,  also that everyone should eat and drink and find enjoyment for all his hard work. It is the gift of God."

Just be careful with your laughter, @Moise. When people laugh the wrong way, in a "froggy" way, at Jehovah's friends, it doesn't always go well...

"As he was going along the way, some young boys came out from the city and began to jeer at him, and they kept saying to him: “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!”  Finally he turned around and looked at them and cursed them in the name of Jehovah. Then two she-bears came out of the forest and tore 42 of the children to pieces."

"Better to listen to a wise man’s rebuke than to listen to the song of fools.  For as the crackling of thorns burning under the pot, so is the laughter of the fool; and this too is futility."

"Better is a poor but wise child than an old but stupid king, who no longer has enough sense to heed a warning."

Jehovah is the Source of all Wisdom and Delight. Praise Jehovah.

I can easily spot a wolf in sheep's clothing, even when others can't, or they give a person the benefit of a doubt. I have already assessed that person posting as a false prophet such as yourself Audrey.

So, I don't need your help, nor would I accept any kind of help coming from you. I dealt with demons in the past. I find humans much easier.

A reason I'm not inclined to be nice to apostates, when they are not, kind period. Some call it bullying when it's one-sided. Those people just refuse to see the bullying coming from apostates. That's why I don't care about those opinions, and stand firm on my commission.

I am not the final judge of who will receive everlasting life or death, but in the authority given to me to judge for myself whether a person is a dangerous wolf or not, I assess you @Moise as a silly sheep. Someday your demons will be gone and life will be easier for you.

I think you are a lot nicer than the governing body and than the last two circuit overseers and the body of elders in my local congregation. I also think you are a lot nicer than all those taking the lead at Bethel. And I think you are a lot nicer than most Jehovah's Witnesses in "good standing".

The governing body and the body of elders all say "We love you very much," but then they turn around and do the most ugly unkind things.

You are straightforward and frank about your opinions.

Even though you claim to take a stand for the "disfellowshipping" doctrine, you don't follow through on your words. You label people as "apostates" but then you still talk to them. Since the disfellowshipping doctrine is antiChrist and you choose to not follow the disfellowshipping doctrine in practice, that makes you "nicer" than all those who claim to be "Jehovah's Witnesses" and yet who act as antiChrists by following the disfellowshipping doctrine.

(Shunning people is not "nice".)

As far as your comments on "dealing with demons" and "dealing with humans", I will have to agree with you, it is much easier to deal with humans. Jesus knows how to deal with both.

"Now in the synagogue there was a man with a spirit, an unclean demon, and he shouted with a loud voice:  “Ah! What have we to do with you, Jesus the Naz·a·reneʹ? Did you come to destroy us? I know exactly who you are, the Holy One of God.”  But Jesus rebuked it, saying: “Be silent, and come out of him.” So after throwing the man down in their midst, the demon came out of him without hurting him.  At this they were all astonished and began to say to one another: “What kind of speech is this? For with authority and power he orders the unclean spirits, and out they come!”

"And I saw, and look! a white horse, and the one seated on it had a bow; and a crown was given him, and he went out conquering and to complete his conquest."

"Now there is a judging of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out."

"And war broke out in heaven: Miʹcha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them any longer in heaven.  So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him."

Glory to Jehovah through Christ Jesus our King!

"For he must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet."

"The one who bears witness of these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming quickly.’”

“Amen! Come, Lord Jesus.”

"May the undeserved kindness of the Lord Jesus be with the holy ones."

Praise Jehovah.
