J.R.Brown, on the other hand, started this idea of picking on the weakest cases, such as claims that were later "recanted" or cases where both parties were underage. The idea was that, by focusing on 5% of the cases, he could limit the public damage that would have been caused if he had focused on 95% of the cases. JR would often give the same account that Bro Johnson gives, and would say it in such a way that he could get across the idea that most of these cases are ridiculous. JR could also produce sneering and snickering about the whole issue. The job of a PR man is political, and I can't say he was actually lying. He just took advantage of the ease with which media and the average person is fooled ("JW or not").
