FAIRFIELD — Jehovah’s Witnesses invites the deaf community of all ages to attend an American Sign Language Program this weekend.
Sessions begin at 9:20 a.m. Friday through Sunday. Admission is free.
The program is at the Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2020 Walters Road.
It will be presented entirely in American Sign Language, including tactile interpreting for the blind and visually impaired.
The three-day program will feature 49 presentations, each exploring the theme of loyalty.
There are also 35 video segments specifically for the program, plus two short films that will be shown Saturday and Sunday.
The morning and afternoon sessions each day will be introduced by videos recorded for the convention.
The program is in conjunction with the regional convention with the theme of Remain Loyal to Jehovah. The Jehovah’s Witnesses began hosting these free events in the United States and around the world on May 20.
