It is indeed the Northenden, Manchester Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

This building was originally constructed as a cinema in about 1933 and owes it's styling to a trend termed as Art Moderne, a much disputed offshoot of the earlier Art Deco movement of the mid 1920s.
