Sabrina here and I'm going to share some insights that will change all of your relationships for the better, especially your relationships with men. It comes down to one major realizations and that is: no one can ever make you feel a certain way. Allow me to elaborate. Let's say you have two girls who are equally attractive, equally smart, equally successful and so on. The only difference is that one is supremely confident and the other is extremely insecure. Now let's say these girls date the same guy. And let's say the guy makes the exact same comment to each girl, maybe he says something about her not being the hottest girl he's ever dated or something stupid like…

By Matt Valentine Letting go of someone you truly love is one of the most difficult things in the world. Unfortunately, sometimes…it’s necessary. 1. Cut contact Before you do anything, and I mean anything else, you need to cut contact with the person. This is less a step and more of a critically important prerequisite. You’ll never be able to heal if you keep the person who hurt you so close at hand. Remove phone numbers, discard contact information, pictures, and anything else directly connected with them. You’re not erasing your memory, just removing your ability to potentially contact that person the next time you’re in a moment of weakne…

5 Signs Your Partner's Considering Divorce
by Guest Nicole- 1 reply

1. Your partner's communication style has done a 180. You've always wished your spouse would complain less about you. Suddenly, he has and it's downright eerie! Once a partner has abandoned the (oh so irritating) repair attempts like nagging you to change, it's a good indicator they've given up. We all have days when we don't feel like talking, but a general trend of shutting down the lines of communication and creating distance makes it easier to pull the plug when they deem the time is right. There's a distinct difference between your spouse going through something that has nothing to do with you and harmful breakdowns of communication—so don't call a law…

In Hellenic and Roman art, the sun-god Helios and Roman emperors are often depicted with a radiant crown. The latter was not used in primitive Christian art because of its pagan origins, but from the mid 4th Century, Christ is thus represented. It was only from the 6th Century onwards that the halo began to be seen in most representations of the Virgin Mary and other saints. “The halos that artists during the Middle Ages put around the heads of saints are a remnant of sun worship.” - Will Durant “From the 4th Century, Christian artists began to paint Jesus with a halo of light, and later Mary and the Apostles. It is also charac…

God Shamash Louvre Location: Sb 7 Richelieu room 3 A sovereign pours libation on an altar before a seated god, recognisable by his tiara (crown) with several rows of horns. The god holds a ring and a rod, symbols of power and justice. A rayed sun disc dominates the scene. These symbols are often associated with Shamash, sun-god but also god of justice. The symbolism in the Bible is identical. Judah gives his signet ‘ring’ and the ‘staff that is in thy hand’, both personal and precious, as a pledge to Tamar (Genesis 38:18). The rod of Moses became a symbol of his authority. - (Exodus 14) In his …

In the Bible, the sun is never deified because, as an impersonal force, it was created by God as a great light to light up the Earth and set a calendar. The existence of sun worship in the Kingdom of Judah is reported by the Prophet Ezekiel. “They were bowing down to the east, to the sun.” (Ezekiel 8:16). This apostate behaviour went against the Law (Deuteronomy 4:19) and the words of the psalmist, “For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield; Favor and glory are what he gives.” (Psalm 84:11). Years earlier, the King Josiah had however abolished worship of the sun-god. - 2 Kings 23:5. The Temptation of Christ MI 285 Location in the Louvre:…

Nicaragua, Ortega and the United States

HAVANA TIMES – Daniel Ortega has achieved what neither Putin, nor climate change, nor China, nor the immigration problem, nor Maduro nor Syria could do: he inspired nothing more and nothing less than the adoption of a bipartisan consensus between the US Republican and Democratic parties regarding his regime. What’s more, he managed to become a point of consensus between the US Executive branch, headed by Trump, and the US Congress. It may seem a lie or an exaggeration, but no other topic during Trump’s administration has been resolved with this level of consensus. In reacting to the decisions adopted by the organs of United States power, Ortega momentarily duste…

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and buried; he descended into hell. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of God the Father, and he will come to judge both the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Our star will expand into a red giant in about 4.5billion years. At this point will extend to 0.8AU or more. 500,000 years later it will shed the outer layers of gas(think of it like an onion) and the end result will be two things. 1: a planetary nebula 2: a White Dwarf A white dwarf is the core of the star and since it was the core, it is still very very very hot. It can easily be about 40,000K which is about 4000 x the boiling point of water. Since these objects are no longer generating heat they’re cooling down. But since space has no air they only way they cool down is via radiating the heat out. The time …

I'm thinking about taking because my mother used to always give us some to keep us healthy..... But I'm wondering about the "Fish Oil" I often see in stores and the old Cod Liver Oil. Do any of you take either of these? Seen any benefits? Is there any actual data to support using these oils? Thanks in advance.

Goodyear presented a vision of a future tire that looks radically different from tires today — it’s a sphere. Goodyear unveiled its latest concept tire, Eagle-360, at the Geneva International Motor Show. The spherical, 3-D printed tire highlights Goodyear’s vision for the future and presents an inspiring solution for the long-term future when autonomous driving is expected to be more mainstream. According to a recent study from Navigant Research, 85 million autonomous-capable vehicles are expected to be sold annually around the world by 2035, for example. According to the J.D. Power 2015 U.S. Tech Choice Study, consumers are most concerned with ensuring safety throu…

National and international efforts to develop new sources of carbon-free energy are exploring a nuclear power concept first introduced in the 1950s and 1960s: the Molten Salt Reactor. This design is vastly different from our current light water nuclear power plant and is inspiring a fresh look at the technology. Researchers at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory are working on many solutions necessary for the design, construction, and operation of a full-scale molten salt reactor. We have expertise in radiochemistry and real-time online monitoring, as well as materials design and performance testing.

Sadly this is too late for Michael Jackson and Prince. Fentanyl and Dilaudid are EXTRAORDINARILY DANGEROUS! Both can cause sudden respiratory arrest. Although... won't this make the price go up now? AND... China gets to keep manufacturing it? What happened to bringing jobs back to the US? Oh...so many questions.
