@JW Insider is this actual "news" that I'm not aware of yet? Or what am I missing?
@Witness Is there any proof that this is going on right now? Do we know the source?

That is not how the law works in the USA. If there was a plea bargain, arraignment or even a plea entered there would be a record of that.
You are making stuff up out of thin air at this point. All that can be seen at this point is the arrest and the charges.

It doesn't hurt to take a hard look at yourself from time to time, and this should help get you started.

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the director what the criterion was that defined whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

"No," said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a room with or without a view?"

More than 400 Jehovah’s Witnesses have been charged or convicted in Russia since the country banned the religious group as an “extremist” organization three years ago, the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia has said.
Since the April 2017 ban by Russia’s Supreme Court, law enforcement officers raided the homes of 1,166 worshippers’ families, the Jehovah’s Witnesses said
Authorities have opened 175 criminal cases into “extremism” against worshippers as of late October 2020, with 148 of them still in progress, the Christian denomination said on its website.
More than half of the 400 worshippers spent between several days to three years in detention while awaiting trial. Some 310 have lost their jobs, businesses, pensions and bank accounts as a result of the “extremist” label.
Four Jehovah’s Witnesses have died while under investigation.

The Librarian got a reaction from Anna in Israeli archaeologists digging in the Golan Heights have found the remains of a massive 3,000-year-old stronghold they believe belonged to the kingdom of Geshur, an ancient city-state in the northern Levant which was an ally of King David
"E-Tell is believed by some scholars, led by Prof. Rami Arav of the University of Nebraska in Omaha, to have been Geshur’s capital and is also thought to have been, centuries later, the village of Bethsaida, which features prominently in the New Testament. "
    ...
"The preliminary analysis of the pottery dates the fort to the early Iron Age, specifically the 11th or 10th century B.C.E., Tzin says. This, according to the biblical chronology, would have been the time of the great united Israelite monarchy of David and Solomon, and Geshur is mentioned several times in the holy text in connection to this kingdom. For example, King David is said to have married Maakah, the daughter of the king of Geshur (2 Samuel 3:3) and it was to there that their son Absalom was exiled after killing his brother Amnon (2 Samuel 13:23-39)."

The Librarian got a reaction from JW Insider in Stele of the priest Si Gabbor
    An epitaph
The inscription reads: "Si Gabbor, a priest of Shahar at Neirab. This is my image. Because I have served him with integrity, he [Shahar] has given me a good reputation and a long life. On the day of my death, my mouth could still speak and I saw with my eyes four generations of my descendants. They were weeping and grieving over me. They put no silver or bronze objects beside me; they put nothing but my clothes on me, so that my tomb would not be violated. Whoever thou may be, O thou who harmest me by moving me, may Shahar and Nikkal and Nusku make thy death shameful and may thy descendants perish."

    This funerary stele presents
under a long inscription in Aramaic
a figurative scene with a priest seated at the banquet.

The cult of the moon god, Sîn in Akkadian,
is already well established in the Aleppo region of Syria.
In the long dedication the deceased takes stock
of his life and says his desire for a beautiful death
and to enjoy the rest in the Hereafter without its remains being desecrated.

The Librarian reacted to Isabella in 90 Sands Street sale closes for $170M, former hotel to house homeless
90 Sands Street, the former Jehovah’s Witness Dormitory, towers over its neighbors in Dumbo, Brooklyn alongside the Manhattan Bridge. The Jehovah’s Witness properties, which extended between Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo, have been parceled out over the last few years. The largest tract was transformed into the mixed-use campus Panorama which opened earlier this year. 90 Sands Street is unique however, as it is being redeveloped by the supportive housing provider, Breaking Ground. Closed since 2017, 90 Sands is very much frozen in time with ’90s era wallpaper and decor throughout. We were recently taken on a truly fascinating tour inside the 30-story building, from the basement levels all the way up to the observation deck which offers nearly 360 degree views of Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The view from the observatory at 90 Sands Street

The commercial kitchen in the cellar that once fed 1,000 people multiple times a day. On the right are commercial sized coffee urns.

One of the former dining rooms in 90 Sands

On our visit to 90 Sands, we were also able to see the original lobby, designed in a very ’90s-esque vibe with tiled and carpeted floors and a pale pink and mauve palette. There are six elevator banks with brass style buttons.

More fun. I've just purchased this lovely old Ford Model AA lorry. It's British, right hand drive, manufactured in Dagenham, England.
Previous owner lost his storage space and was in panic, so I offered him a 'reasonable price' which, with his wife's persuasion, he accepted.    I love old vehicles, they are so honest. No complications, no nonsense. They just do their job, whether it's to use or just to look pretty.

No one should be forced to wear emblems advocating causes they object to, whether it be LGBTQ or BLM or Democrat or Republican issues. I think work uniforms should be company-related and otherwise pretty much generic and neutral . If someone wants to advertise his affiliation with one cause or another, they should do so on their own time.
At the very least, employees should be allowed to cover emblems on a work uniform that they personally object to.
